Shades of Green Landscaping in Anoka

Bob and his crew are Patio Whisperers!! Bob came out a year ago in the fall and over the winter created magical plans for a patio, deck and landscaping to replace a very old wooden deck!! Skip laid all the pavers and created two sitting walls. Then when the fence was up the landscaping and deck were done. (The deck was built by Mike and Ray of Mike Wood Construction). Our backyard was turned into a beautiful oasis!! Couldn’t be happier!!! Shades of Green Landscaping has done a lot of work for us but nothing so magical as this project!! Oh!! Did I say fast?? They are amazing!! Highly, highly recommend Shades of Green Landscaping and the whole crew!!!!

Bob was very detailed and understood my vision of the walkway and firepit patio from the beginning. It turned out exactly as I wanted (and even better than I expected). A huge shout out to Skip, the foreman, who was an excellent communicator throughout the project. He was open to answering any of my questions at any time of the day or evening hours. He also checked in with me periodically to ensure the project was moving in the right direction. I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. I'm over the moon with my gorgeous new backyard oasis.

They've got the best prices on the largest shrubs. They're very helpful. I highly recommend them.

Suzette and Connie were very prompt in getting me a quote and site plan for my paver patio. The quote was accurate and the pricing very fair. Suzette was very timely in visiting the site and reviewing what I wanted and made very good suggestions.

Suzette was awesome to plan our landscaping with! The guys did an amazing job getting everything done. Our yard looks so good! I couldn't be happier!

Overall an average job. The only real issue I have is that I EXPLICITLY told Bob that I wanted privacy in my front yard for all 4-seasons. He gave me seasonal bushes that shed its leaves. So, what does this mean? I have to spend more money in the spring, to transplant the non-private plants, and buy yet more plants to make what I wanted in the first place. Money was no problem, so I don't know why he skimped on it...well, yes I do (to make more). So with that, make sure you verify the plants on the quote. -Bob is a nice guy, just doesn't listen. (and, 3 stars because even though he missed my request, his crew was talented).

Bob the owner is hands on and makes sure no one cuts corners. This man has been out working hard on our landscape ever since we hired his company. With his great ideas our backyard, the irrigation system, the design of our rock lines and more. Its amazing. Skip has been awesome and with his ideas of our new paver patio n his attention to detail. Our patio looks fantastic. Kevin has been incredible. Planting our Viking chokeberries, setting up our pool and getting our irrigation system set up and ready to go. An the rest of the crew has been magnificent in all their hard work in making our backyard be a treat for years to come.

Had an meeting setup for this morning at 9:30 am. Both my wife and i took off work to meet them to discuss some work we would like done at our home. They called at 9:00 am the day of the meeting to tell us they could not make it. Then I asked if they even wanted our business answer was no. So they just wasted our time for something they knew they could not do and then waited to the last min to tell us they could not. I guess its a mixed blessing to not have even gotten involved with this company...very unprofessional!!
