We have a large lot with lots of depressions and sinkholes. The lawn squad was a pleasure to work with and they completely transformed the terrain. They were quick, and delivered above and beyond!

After obtaining several proposals to grade our property and lay sod, we contracted with The Lawn Squad to grade, prep and lay about 8,000 sf of Zeno Zoysia sod. The entire process was very smooth. Adam and his crew did a fantastic job of grading, prep and laying sod, they left no gaps and made sure the sod they layed was viable. The project was complete on schedule. Adam and Windy both made sure the lines of communication was alway open. As the project was completed they gave us recommendations on who could help us and how to maintain our new yard which has been very helpful. We would recommend The Lawn Squad for any lawn project that anyone has and we would definitely use them in the future. Jim M

Absolutely professional, beginning to end!

Fantastic attitude and work by good and honest people. We could not be happier. Not your classical horror story that begins with I hired a contractor in Georgia... After my Wife did the research, I originally called 5 companies. 2 never called me back. 3 of the 5 actually came on-site. Two of those companies that came on-site flatly refused to do the area between the sidewalk and the curb (an area commonly referred to as The Right of Way.) When asked why, their reasoning was Why spend money on something that does not belong to you? The County can come along and mess it up for you at any time. What an amazingly weird thing for people who are trying to sell SOD and installation services to say! Each time, I responded by saying If everyone had an attitude like that, no one would ever have a nice-looking yard- we want to have a nice looking yard. One of these 2 companies never provided any quote at all. Even despite them texting me to apologize for not getting it to me when they said they would. The other company never provided me with a written estimate at all. When they showed up, they gave me some made up story about not knowing how many pieces of SOD their supplier is currently putting on a pallet and needing to check to confirm. Yet, verbally, they then went on try to get me to close me on a price they gave me on the spot. This did not add up at all. Were they lying about not knowing their costs or were they willing to run the risk of quoting a job that would be done at a loss? It is amazing that folks will fill big pickup trucks with fuel and drive around to waste their time and yours like this. I feel sorry for their families. The Lawn Squad, however, listened to what I said. They provided a written quote, and they even adjusted it for me when I requested more specificity. Gorgeous SOD (Zeon Zoysia) was delivered as promised and the entire project ran just like they said it would to the letter. Their estimation of the quantity required as extremely accurate. The entire team was courteous, efficient, and worked very hard in blistering heat. They constantly asked questions to make sure we were happy with their work as they progressed. After the SOD was in, they all worked together as a team to completely clean up their equipment and the street in front of our house and did not stop until everything was spotless. It is so refreshing to meet folks who actually take pride in their work and reputation! The dump trailer was removed at dawn the next day just as they said it would be. Save yourself stress. Our yard looks fantastic. Work was performed timely and with care to minimize contact and damage to rest of yard. They took great effort to clean up. Even pressure wash the driveway and street along the yard.

Every detail of my landscape project was handled without a hitch. Adam, the owner , made landscape suggestions that would meet my husband s and my objectives. Once the plan was developed, we were provided details of the project along with the cost estimate the next day. After reviewing the cost, etc. I gave Lawn Squad my approval to proceed with the project. they ordered all the trees, shrubs and boulders needed for the project. Lawn Squad also provided me with all the documents needed for me to obtain HOA approval. After HOA approval , Lawn Squad confirmed the starting date and time. Lawn Squad arrived to do the job on the date and time they had said they would. Adam and his son both stayed on site and working with their other employees to implement the project. After completion the work area was completely cleaned. I can not say enough good about Lawn Squad. I will definitely use them again. I would give them more stars if I could.

We used The Lawn Squad for a sod install and water drainage solution at our home and Adam and the whole team did a great job! They were courteous and professional throughout the entire process and everything turned out great! Adam did an excellent job of sharing his expertise and experiences to make recommendations in the design aspect but was also mindful of our preferences so we ended up with an awesome finished product that was functional, practical, and looked incredible. His attention to detail was also fantastic so by the time they were done, the job looked complete and thoughtful which included a few nice finishing touches that I would not have thought about if it wasn t for him. I have used the lawn squad for my own yard so I knew they were amazing, honest, and did great work. So when my boyfriend needed to re-sod his front yard I contacted them immediately! I read many reviews pertaining to the Lawn Squad prior to me scheduling a consultation with Adam (the owner). What I really like was Adams knowledge and suggestions for my lawn. Late March of this year, Adam and his crew came out and laid six pallets of Zeon Zoysia Grass. Adam was hands on during entire project. Adams son Blaze, worked his a__ off too! They were so detailed with every aspect of the project and nothing can please me more than their desire to make my Zeon Zoysia look as good as it does after five weeks of installation. Adam, you and Blaze (and the entire crew) you guys are my Rock Stars and I want hesitate to recommend The Lawn Squad to anyone. Guys, job well done

We spent a lot of time getting quotes from landscapers in the area for leveling, felling a tree, draining, sodding, and edging rocks in our wet and shady backyard. Adam and Windy were a clear cut above the rest -- responsive, thorough, expeditious, reasonably priced, and friendly/communicative throughout the process. It was a 2 day job, and Adam and his crew were consummate professionals and left a light footprint (something our neighbors really appreciated, Im sure). True professionals! Adam came out on a weekend to measure, discuss and give us a quote. Windy emailed the quote and all the business and insurance documents for our review. Every detail was taken care of including having the utility companies come out to mark our yard and coordination of all the delivery of supplies. Adam, Blaze and the rest of the crew were fantastic and efficient every step of the way. The sod is top quality too. They may cost a little more but are totally worth it. I KNOW other companies would not have been as meticulous and follow ALL the steps to have the installation done right. Windy emailed us all the information we needed to care for our new lawn shortly after its completion. Adam responded very quickly to my request to save my backyard...allow me to explain further. I purchased our home in November last year and knew I needed to do something different in our backyard. It has afternoon shade given the position of the house against a large ridge. Bermuda simply was not going to ever grow. Adam made a housecall the same day I called and immediately had great ideas and suggestions how to improve our landscape. We agreed to his action plan and he took control of the mess the former owner had created in our yard. The install was fantastic with zero gaps between the Zoysia seams of sod. Four weeks later, the sod has remained a deep green and is thriving. The Lawn Squad is HIGHLY recommended from this satisfied client!

Have a somewhat sloped yard that was eroding and challenged in other ways. Wanted someone local and Adam had great reviews. The sod (zoysia) was locally sourced, grew in very well. Rock placements for edging around landscaping areas were well placed. What that means is that they were set pretty well and with flat edges facing the grass. This makes it easier for weedeating and mower wheels. To the side of the house, the drainage issue was even worse. Due to cover, grass wasnt a solution. Adam directed water flow from the front yard to a drain and sculpted/placed a gravel path. Now 4+ months later, all the pine straw remains in place - clear evidence the drainage is working. Overall a very well done job with careful attention to detail.

Due to some extreme erosion with all the rainfall we have been having, I was looking for a company that could address my problems competently, and who was reliable. The reviews for The Lawn Squad led me to solicit a request for a quote from Adam, the company owner. He was very busy at the time, but made the time to come to my house and we talked for about an hour through various solutions to my problem. He was about a month out on being available to do the work, but you will find out that that is the case for everyone right now due to a shortage of workers. Communication is EXCELLENT with The Lawn Squad. I had a quote in my hands within two days that was VERY detailed and included the start and end dates for the work. 50% of the money was required up front which is understandable as I needed a LOT of material (rocks, fill dirt, mulch, pine straw, etc). One nice thing is that they do take credit card which made handling payment a breeze. Adam and his team showed up exactly when they said they would... and that is a key point here. Adam is not just the owner, but one of the workers. He will be there the entire time and is the hardest worker on his crew (although honestly, they were all doing the work of two men each).

We recently hired them to do a project in our backyard and are blown away by how amazing it turned out! In just one day they laid sod, put in gorgeous stone edging, and filled in fresh mulch.
