They do or I shall say a half way job i see areas not done not using the weedwacker is crazy and this is at a school were little kids attend grass still be on the sidewalk and rude when the contract is over I hope they don’t renew it check around before getting them

Who ever I spoke to refused me service. I didn’t even explain what I wanted and he says”yeah I’m gonna pass on that” as If I were offering him something. I was looking to support a local business but that was extremely disrespectful.
Chuck was responsive to my request for color of bricks and explained differences to make square, round, turns in paver paths. We came up with a design. The path, pad and walkway to porch look GREAT! Be sure to be aware of type of bricks needed for your idea. Check the quote for measurements and materials to confirm colors, brick type and design. Agree and move to install date, price. Price is good from Phillips! Workers were prompt, knowledgeable of the process and flexible of design and requests. Nice people. They cleaned up, blew off debris from patio and porch when completed. Placed grass seed around work. Phillips' forklift equipment leaked oil on driveway and on street in front of house. Beware and ask when they are delivered to take precautions for your driveway. All n all, very satisfied with brick pavers pad, path and walkway. Have a plan for what you want, they will offer ideas, a catalog of designs, just be ready that not all designs work with all brick colors. Timely, friendly, delivered as agreed. Thanks, Phillips!
Loved the work ethic of Dean and his crew. These guys work hard and did a great job. They did a retaining wall for me and I am very pleased with their work. I'd deffinately call on them again.
Phillips just finished our new patio today and we couldn't be happier! The crew that did the work was absolutely amazing! They were friendly and always made sure we were happy with what they were doing. And if we do more brick work we will definitely call them back! Price was fair for an amazing job!!

I was in search of a landscaper to build a gravel "bed" for a shed that we were having installed. I received several quotes from companies, and got a feel for what it was going to cost. Phillips landscaping responded right away. I am happy to provide more information directly, but the long and short is this: if you are looking for a "professional" landscaping operation that will send you contracts for the work, receipts for deposits; will communicate with you about install dates; and do actual follow up-- in other words, do what they say they are going to do, when they are going to do it...this is NOT the company for you. If you are okay with a "mom/pop" operation, where you aren't in a real hurry to get things done, and you are okay not hearing from him for weeks, or months at a time; and you are okay with putting a deposit down and maybe not getting your job done for an extended period of time after that--- maybe you have a lot of extra time, and it doesn't matter-- if that is you, then this company is perfect for you. He did OUTSTANDING WORK. It was exactly what I wanted. He left a clean worksite. (His people/communicating skills leave very much to be desired. In fairness, I did not hire him for his people skills, but still. It would have made such a difference ) However, because there was no contract, and I had nothing in writing indicating that his office manager agreed to let me use the coupon on his website, he consequently refused to let me use the coupon (that is prominently displayed on his website), and claimed that I was getting a real deal at the price that I was paying. Take all of that for what it is worth. The job is done. It looks great. I paid $150 more than I had planned to.

Cost more than pinellis which is only a mile and a half away and the quality isnt as good as other landscaping places when youre buying fill dirt or topsoil if you ask for clean top so youll you basically get fill dirt for a little bit more in cost

I ve been using Phillips Landscaping for many, many years at my home in West Bloomfield and wouldn t think of using any other company. I use them for lawn maintenance, shrub trimming, and clean-ups. Last year they also rehabbed my lawn following a tree removal with debris removal, regrading and reseeding. Phillips is rock solid reliable and they always do a good job and leave things spotless when done. One added bonus with their lawn-cutting is that they cut it higher than other companies which leaves the lawn healthier; most other companies cut it way too short. I would recommend them to anyone.

TERRIBLE & UNPROFESSIONAL Used this company for 2 years. Last year was great. Nice job every time. This year is a whole different story. I had to email them every week to see if we were on the schedule to get our grass cut. If I didn t email , the grass didn t get cut. They missed 2 cuts & it was only June. Additionally the last few cuts were terrible. We pay for cutting, weed-whacking & edging. They only cut the grass AND left the grass clipping (clumps of it) on the grass. Just a horrible experience. Terrible customer service. Shame on YOU!!!!

Phillips did a great job replacing our old sidewalk and installing another along the side of the house. Plantings and grass were added as well and it looks great! Several compliments from the neighbors and we are very pleased!

Large job completed with the most professionalism, kind and hard working group of men Ive see in years. The worked the entire day and did not want to stop until it was completed. Everyone seems to be super helpful and happy and work together great as the team. I would highly recommend this company for anyone close by for any and all their landscaping needs.
Phillips Landscaping just completed a redesign of my front yard. I would highly recommend. The workers were friendly and did whatever we needed. They went above and beyond my expectations. We get many comments on how nice it looks.
I scheduled two appointments for a consultation, and both times they were no-call, no-show the day of. After the first appointment was missed, I received a call three days later to set up the second appointment. Now that the second day has come and went- a week plus passed, I wouldnt even give them a chance for a third.
Phillips Landscaping finished our job today!! We are overwhelmed with the end product. We waited a long time for this improvement and now couldnt be happier with it. The workers did everything we requested , changed things we wanted. The owner was very helpful in giving a non green thumb person ideas on how to make the yard beautiful. If you need a new look and upgrade to your property give Chuck at Phillips a call he will do good work and he has very knowledgeable employees who work above and beyond to meet your needs!!

Chucks landscaping crew did an awesome job installing our new sod and fixing up our landscaping in the backyard. Weve used this company several times to enhance our landscaping on our properties and we would definitely recommend others to do the same.
i bought sod a few months back and this place was the worst buisness that i have ever dealt with. there sod turned all into crabgrass. the workers broke 2 of my sprinkler heads after telling them 6 times to watch the sprinkler system. this place just did not care about the homeowner nor would they return phone calls. paid $750.00 for my sod and finally after the owner finally came over which took forever agreed to only pay me half of my money back. now my grass is all crabgrass and it looks worse than it ever has living in my house for over 30 years. will never trust this company again or recommend this company. now having to get all new sod(through someone else) in sept and losing on half of my money is really the issue with me. the owner was the worse person that i have ever dealt with and am very disgusted with this company.
