We recently moved into a new construction in Commerce Township and had the pleasure of working with John Novick and Ken from Clean Cut to design a patio, firepit, and landscaping. From the start, John presented a stunning design that exceeded our expectations—it couldn’t be more perfect! Finding people who are solution-focused, consultative, and professional is essential for any project—and that’s exactly what this team embodies. They pick up the phone when you call and their follow up is amazing. You have lots of options when looking for contractors. I researched many of them. They don’t get better than Clean Cut!! We looked at renovating our decapitated patio that walks out from our lower level. We started looking and contacted John in October 2023. We vacillated on what we wanted and spoke to numerous other companies. We reached back out in June because John was the most thorough and educational about the product and process. His vision for what we wanted was a little off from where we were, how wrong we were he was spot on at the end of the day. They told us that it would take four days or so depending on weather. The job was completed in fours days and they lost a half day to rain. Rene and the crew were second to none they are hardworking and very good at what they do . The end result was a gorgeous patio, we could not be happier. Through the process John was always available and checked in daily. The crew went above and beyond in every step of the job. We would and have recommend them to anyone we know that is looking for excellence. Great product great process and most importantly great people that deliver.

Hired for several projects around the yard. John helped wish suggestions for how to manage and came through with beautiful final product. Accomplished a significant amount of work in just 1 day. Very impressed. Definitely would hire again.

We have been a customer of Clean Cut for over 15 years. They have designed, installed and serviced our landscape & hardscape through two new home projects. They work fast and provide a quality job. In addition, they are attentive and responsive to issues as they might arise during and after installation (within a reasonable time frame). I highly recommend Clean Cut, LLC for landscaping projects. Excellent customer service from quoting through project completion. Work was done on time as promised, crew was professional and focused, and clean up was spotless. I feel the cost was reasonable considering the quality of work. I would not hesitate to contact Clean Cut for any future landscaping needs.

We were customers for almost 10 years and the did all of our landscaping when we built our new house in 2013 (pavers, fireplace, trees, shrubs, sod, etc.) They also maintained our sprinklers every year and I will say Jose and his team are great to work with. However, we wanted to add on to our backyard so we set an appointment up with a lady, and we were told it would be 4 weeks before she could get there. That wasn't a problem as we understand the labor market today. She called the day of the appointment and cancelled because she was cold and had been outside all day. We rebooked (another 2 weeks out) and two days before, she called and said she wouldn’t be able to get to us for several months. We wasted 6 weeks this spring waiting and could have gotten on someone else’s calendar. During that wait, we had our sprinklers turned on and found out we had a broken line. I have called several times to follow up on getting it repaired, spoke to the receptionist several times and she would always have to follow up but never did. I really wanted to support the company that we had been dealing with for almost a decade but it got to be ridiculous. I’ll sum it up with they are a very unprofessional group of individuals. Good luck getting someone to answer the phone let alone call you back. You can find several better options out there and we did.

Very rude and poor design, think she’s the best, not. Spent way too much to have this weed infested yard. Asked for low maintenance, what a joke. Was told they would take care my new sod once it was in then after was told they were too busy. Back yard is so lumpy you could break an ankle walking across it. Stay away! I’d give them a zero if I could.

Always very very professional and nice workers to deal with. We have thoroughly enjoyed having Clean Cut do the full landscaping on our new house including sprinkler system, beautiful brick paved patio/fire pit, walk ways and driveway accents.
