Mike and his crew provided excellent service for my family and I. They came out last minute when my existing lawn guy didn t show up and did a great job. He and his staff were efficient and professional. I would definitely recommend.

I hate to be clichè , but Buyer Please Beware. The lack of communication and lack of accurate bookkeeping forced an end to our business agreement. I had to send 4 emails with pictures before they accurately cut my lawn. I had to remind them on two different occasions to even send a lawn cutting team out to my property as they just decided to skip 2 weeks of lawn service. I also had to provide copies of withdrawals from my personal bank account before they would correct inaccurate billing statements. There are too many available lawn companies to have to overcome these deficiencies. Additionally the worse incident of them all , was the team half cutting my elderly neighbors lawn ,whose not under contract with Platinum , and then being very rude to them , when asked to clean up the mess they had made.

My husband and I did a Google search to find local snow removal/lawn care companies in our area. We found that this company had 5 star reviews, so we went with them. One and a half weeks after snow fall, no one came out to shovel our drive way. Payment had already been made. We called and texted and for a couple days, there was no response. When they did respond, they gave an excuse about their truck having problems (yeah, right), and I had to BEG them to come out soon to shovel the driveway. They told me they didnt have anyone to come out. They sent someone after again, I begged, and that person shoveled HALF the driveway, and left. We paid for other things like orange stakes, etc, and NOTHING was rendered. Services were unfulfilled. Stay away from this company - they steal money.

They came out today to do a weeding project for me. They did a great job. They were very efficient. I would definitely recommend this company!!!

I Called Platinum Lawn Service.Mike Hoylock the owner promptly answered this call.After taking some pictures of the work I needed done in my backyard he had two of his employees at my house in one half hour.We discussed what I wanted done.They gave me a fair price and we agreed on the work to be done.They were ready to begin the work immediately but unfortunately the dump was closed and also the store to get topsoil was closed.We agreed to start the project on Monday.I would recommend this company to my family and friends.Thank you Mike.

This company did an excellent job. Very professional and hard working. The end results look fabulous. Cleaned up after themselves, had good suggestions when needed. We have hired them for more jobs and will be using it spring for other projects. Highly recommend.

I talked to someone thro texts they told me they will b start lawn service tomorrow. I waited for 2 weeks but no one came plus they will not answer phone or returned my texts. I finally called different company for the lawn services and they been giving me great service since then but platinum lawn service send me bill for 2 months which they never came even once for service. I contacted them explained the matter but even till today they keep sending bills showing they still doing my lawn every week. Which they never done even once. I wish I never called them to estimate for lawn cutting services. Totally zero star company

I have been a customer of Platinums for over 5 years and their services are unmatched. They are friendly, diligent, pay attention to details and are affordable. They show up and get things done. It s baffling to see the negative reviews - especially from people who who use their services. It really is a shame that people are so quick to passive-aggressively 1-star a company instead of having a cordial and mature conversation. People should really be more compassionate and understanding. Mike and his staff are wonderful people and they do an incredible job. I d certainly recommend them for all your landscaping needs.

Ryan Z. responded promptly to our request for an estimate to waterproof/reseal one wall of our building which was leaking into the basement. He was knowledgeable about our issues and gave us a remedy. We agreed to his proposal to waterproof our building wall as well as dig a trench along the wall - then fill with pea gravel & river rock. He also regraded the landscape along the wall. He and the other two workers were very professional, prompt and completed quality work in a timely manner. Thank-you!

If you are looking for quality snow removal and customer service, look elsewhere. After 48 hours of waiting for someone to shovel out my mother in law, we were finally able to get ahold of one of the plow drivers. There was no notification that service would be delayed and no explanation as to why it was. My wife spoke with the owner the next day and requested a refund/cancellation of service and was guaranteed that she would be contacted within 24 hours to set that up. After several calls and text messages to the owner, we finally gave up on hearing from him. A couple of weeks later, I called from a different number and was put in touch with the mother who made a litany of excuses as to why the services were not rendered (broken plows, we were busy, etc). To their credit, we were finally issued a half refund a month after the incident. Piece of advice: do not take on such a large book of business and then tell the customer that you were too busy to offer service within the time frame laid out by the contract. If you are busy or your trucks are broken, notify the client that there will be a delay. It should not take weeks of ignored texts and missed calls to finally rectify the situation. If you are comfortable with your parents being snowed in for a full weekend, Platinum Lawn Service has you covered! Mike will undoubtedly rebuttal this review with a he said she said so use your best judgement when hiring this service.

I love this company Mike the owner always takes care of business.. if something is wrong or something you dont like hell take care of it hes an honest person and his workers are awesome I highly recommend.

Texted Mike the owner and he was extremely responsive. He had our snow done in less than an hour. They did a great job.

This company s quality for snow removal is just horrible . My drive way is the only drive way that looks like it has ice and snow all winter long . All the rest of the drive ways around my house are so clean . I spoke with the owner several times about the horrible job and he was very defensive and called me a lier . I have asked them to use salt and they wouldn t . Every time they came out to plow the snow I couldn t tell the difference ..it s sad that they take your money up front and the quality of their service is horrible . I wish i could add pictures of my drive way . Never use this company . It s horrible and the owner is rude and he s not willing to correct the mistakes .

I have had nothing but great experiences with this company. They did a great job during the summer time cutting my grass and maintaining my yard. I called for a quote for a fall clean up and a crew showed up the next day with a quote and got my leaves up in a few days prior. I was happy to learn that they also took care of snow plowing during the winter which they have done a great job completing on time and my driveway has been cleared after every snow fall. Overall very satisfied with the professionalism, and quality of work.

Living in Michigan in the wintertime can have moments of uneasiness and distress at times. Thankfully, we have Platinum Lawn Service & Landscaping to help ease our minds and be there to service us in stressing times. Everything from the punctuality, service, and gentleness of the employees is nothing short of excellent. If you ask me how to spell reliable, id tell you P-L-A-T-I-N-U-M. Dont get me wrong, Id love to catch a tan during the summer mowing the lawn or work on my latissimus and serratus muscles shoveling snow during the winter, but why would I put myself through that when I have the kind, compassionate, and dependable people at Platinum to care of it all for me? Do yourself a favor. Call them for your needs. They take care of the burden for you and your neighbors!

This company is great, they always try to make sure that I m satisfied with their work and go above and beyond expectations. All employees are friendly and helpful with the lawn crews always helping with my trash cans. They also are nice to my dog which is always great.

Purchased 21 cut and after cutting 8 times decided to end service. Owner Mike said he will work out refund then after several weeks Shawn says they are not issuing any refunds. Contract clearly shows 21 cuts and they even sent me a statement showing an unused amount but still refuse to send me my money! I thought this company was good but they won t even talk to me to discuss this matter.... now I have to take it to court to get my money ...Unprofessional is an understatement crooks is more like it! Follow on.... I cancelled my service on 9/1/20 ..regardless of that I did not sign up for fix fee or for the season I prepaid for 21 cuts of which you cut 8 times..... you did not reply to my last txt, calls or emails since I sent you the contract which clearly shows 21 cut and no where does it say no refunds after July 1st! I guess I will see you in court!

I have contacted Mike plenty of times. He told me he will come out to take a look at my lawn and talk to me about the services needed. He never showed and Ive been texting him since. I had plans that day. What kind of business runs on ignoring customers? If I could give no star I would. I know youre thinking theirs always two sides to a story. Well I have the texts to prove it. I would attach them if I could. Email me if you want to see. Terrible service find someone else if I were you.

I have had repeated issues of incorrect billing. Last year this company billed me for services that I had already paid for on more than 1 occasion. Each bill I would contact the company provide front & back copies of cancelled checks as proof that they billed me for a service that was paid already. I was told it would be corrected and the next month same thing. This year my first bill I was billed for 5 weeks of service on that was dated prior to the company indicating they were starting service for the season. My lawn was only cut 2 times and 1 of them only my front lawn was cut due to rain fall occurring in May that left my lawn too saturated for cutting. I immediately contacted Mike via phone & text re: the erroneous invoice and he responded via text to pay for the 2 services that actually occurred. I asked for a corrected bill prior to paying due to the several billing errors I had incurred since the inception of service with the company. I received an unprofessional and rude text from Mike and I received a hand delivered invoice for 2 lawn cuts from a woman that said she was his mom. She took responsibility for the erroneous invoice and apologized. I informed her I would mail my payment. I sent check indicating final payment for 2 lawn cuts which cleared my bank on 7/8 and on 7/19 I received an erroneous invoice applying my check to 2 lawn cuts with a balance for 3 more cuts. I immediately called Mike on 7/19 to no avail. I went to the address on my invoice on 7/20 no answer. I sent a text on 7/20 to Mike to no avail. I have yet to receive a response or an apology from him for the errors be them intentional or a mistake. The repeated billing errors and Mikes attitude with addressing and correcting the errors would be the reason I discontinued service. It lead me to believe that the errors may be intentional if his customers are not paying close attention to the dates of the service and what they are being billed. Anyone who contracts with this company I would caution you to paying close attention to services rendered and billed. I would not recommend this company.

Do not use this company. Claimed he performed cuts that didn t happen. Billed me falsely for cuts that didn t occur and fluffed my bill sky high. Never trust someone that doesn t provide you with a bill on the date of service. He waits and then bills you for 8 cuts at once. I was at home for the majority of the days he claimed he cut and Mike nor his crew were never there. I asked for biweekly cuts and he still billed me for weekly cuts, of which he never performed the work. Claimed he cut my lawn on a Sunday and tried to bill me for it. This man is unscrupulous. Threatened to take me to court after I showed him proof that he didn t cut my grass, it was pouring down raining and both I and my husband were home. I work with prosecutors, so I ll be waiting. Do not use this company. I regret I did.

MIKE is a reliable, and dependable person. From experience, he goes out of his way to take care of customers and always working hard! I highly recommend him. I never leave reviews for no one but hard working people and he is one!
