Workers have little respect for the work they are preforming, the area is covered in weeds and any interaction quickly turns unprofessional.

They do great work! I ve used Lawn Care by Dan for fence replacement at two different houses. The fences are holding up great so far, and Dan has been very responsive when I needed minor adjustments/repairs. They installed a beautiful paver walkway and patio at one of my houses. I also use them for yard care. They are reliable and they keep things looking great.

Very fast and amazing work. After the snow and long rainy season we were overrun with weeds. Four hours later it was all gone. Looks like a brand new yard.

Today was my first service with Lawn care By Dan and they did incredible work. My edging is straight, My lawn looks wonderful, My Japanese maple tree in the front yard has never looked better, etc. And their price point is unbeatable. I just switched from another gardener who left long patches in my lawn messed up my edging on a weekly basis and rushed through my yard, and then left a big fat mess every single week so I made the best choice ever by switching to these guys. Not to mention the guys are friendly and took their time and did it the right way. I cannot recommend them enough.

Hi! If I could give Dan and his crew 10 stars, I would. I interviewed 5 landscapers. He was the best. His bid was within the middle three. His timing was exactly right for me; AND his work is outstanding . I had the whole yard cleaned up; the sod removed and replaced; the gardens reshaped, plants transplanted; new ones planted; everything fertilized and mulch put down. I am so happy when I am outside.

We contacted Dan in the hopes of installing sod and an irrigation system in our backyard. He explained his plan, taking into account our older home and older pipes, and went with something that won t jeopardize our plumbing like other companies I talked to. His crew was friendly and respectful and extremely hard working! Everything was done in a couple days, through rain or shine. Dan walked us through the sprinkler system, how to care for new sod, and answered all of our questions. We love our new grass and will absolutely be going with Lawn Care by Dan for our future projects!

I am a neighbor of a very well tended property that your laborers are pretending to work on. I called the number on your truck and website, but it was not in service. Your crew has been running their extremely loud 2 stroke engine tools for about 4 hours now while accomplishing very little, disturbing my sick mother and disrupting my home school. As a landscape professional I can tell you with certainty that I could by myself with quieter tools accomplish three or four times what the crew there did in the same amount of time. Among people who know about plant care, it is considered totally unprofessional to run 2 stroke engines continuously without cutting anything, to trim trees and shrubs with a whip pruner or brush cutter, to milk a piece of yard work that could take as little as an hour or 2 into a 5th hour, and to burn gas when it is not essential is not only bad for your bottom line, but dangerous during a fuel and climate crisis. I will be advising all my neighbors to not hire you.

I had a great first experience with Dan. I just moved into a house with irrigation, and knew nothing about the plumbing involved or how it even works. I called him after discovering a leaking backflow valve, that was going to make my water bill pretty nasty. He was able to come out same day and get the water shut off. He explained to me what had happened and how I needed to fix it. He was honest that it wasnt a job he could do (for permitting reasons) but he was kind enough to give me a referral to someone he works with often, who also has excellent reviews online. He asked me to give him a call once the part was repaired and he is going to send me a quote for regular maintenance and irrigation service. Looking forward to working with Dan again!

2020 my lawn became overrun with weeds and the bushes were out of control. Dan and his team pulled all of the weeds, mowed, edged, and trimmed the bushes and made it look great!

I hired Dan and his services to maintain our yard. This was our first home and the yard needed a bit of a pick me up. After speaking with Dan, we decided to service the yard every two weeks. He had offered to trim the storm drainage areas as well, since technically the city was responsible, but I have never seen them even come out once. Day of, yard looked great, weeds pulled, but drainage not cut. I reached out and was told our HOA was responsible for that. What? You just offered to trim those on our initial walk around. Also, we have no HOA. Why offer a service only to tell me no? Flag 1. Our yard wasn t looking the best due to drainage issues and poor set up by the builders. I left it to Dan and his team to take care of us, since they claim they are landscapers as well. I came into this thinking this would be a service that I wouldn t have to think about and have the experts take care of the yard. Maybe even get some tips on the poor drainage. I was told to go hire a drainage company and that the sod was set poorly. Okay... Well then offer me a solution besides hiring a drainage company? What happened to the landscaping aspect of adding new sod or elevating the ground? I was told to see the full benefits of their work, I would have to hire them for every week. However, why offer a bi-weekly service only to be told you have to get the weekly service to reap the benefits? As a consumer of a service I paid for, it would be nice that I didn t have to fish for answers to what they were actually doing besides mowing and edging. The grass wasn t looking any better. And the last time they showed up, didn t even make the yard as nice as they initially did. There were still big weeds around the fencing and thing looked a bit messy altogether. When I reached out, Dan told me I would need to pay more for more frequent services and the weeds were just part of the season. What? So to be clear for anybody thinking of hiring them: make sure to be upfront and demand a clear explanation what you re paying for. They do offer landscaping services and other services, but you have to ask about it or request it. Don t bother with the bi-weekly service since they will push you to do the weekly to allegedly make your yard look better. This whole experience was strange and I feel like they definitely dropped the ball.

Dan was prompt, knowledgeable, honest and reasonably priced. He fixed our sprinkler problem in less than 30 minutes. I would highly recommend him.

Dan and his crew installed a 3 foot wide pathway with pavers fom the front of our home to the rear patio. I found his quote to be reasonable so we signed an agreement to have the work done. Dan also came out and walked my property to give me pricing on the removal a lot of debris around my yard. Dan s pricing was very fair for both jobs. I signed up for weekly maintenance and for Dan s team to remove all the debris. His crew is prompt and courteous and did the work as agreed upon in a timely manner. I m so happy to have found Lawn Care by Dan. Coming from a townhome in California with a very small yard to a home in Vancouver, WA with a very large (to us) front and back yard was a bit daunting! Fall of 2018- After hiring on a month to month basis, there were several instances that were not very professional. The worker showed up and worked approximately 20 minutes and left without completing the job. Dan charged my credit card when I had already mailed the payment. There were things I requested that they clean up regarding lawn and yard maintenance, and the response was too often we dont do that.

We had called months in advance and had Dan come to our home to give us a quote for the spring/ summer months to come. We did this in advance so when April came, wed already have a service set up. However, we have contacted him multiple times to set up his stary date and now he no longer has space when months ago he guaranteed us they would do it. Very frustrating to say the least. You expect a company who shows face and comes to your home, shakes your hand in an agreement to stand by their word. We are very disappointed to have wasted our time. Dont waste your time like we did.
