Grassroots Lawn Care in Sanford

In March 2023 we reached an agreement (in writing) with Grassroots for lawn care, and other specific services. In June 2023, after the spring clean up and one lawn trim, Grassroots advised (in writing) that their lawn & landscaping business had 'changed direction' and that they wanted to be 'upfront' with us? They advised that their core services would now be lawn mowing and that they had scheduled us for mowing, in 2 days time - being the following Friday. We replied and kindly acknowledged their correspondence. We requested Grassroots confirm the rate for their lawn mowing services. We were mindful that the previous rate we had negotiated may not align with their new business direction? (We wanted to demonstrate our support of their business by giving them the opportunity to re-negotiate their rate.) They did not reply. They did not show up to mow as scheduled. They disappeared. We hold the opinion that we gave them our loyalty, trust and respect. It was not reciprocated. We secured a suitable garden & landscaping team to replace Grassroots - within 2 days.
