Marty's Landscaping Inc in Lowell

I've had martys landscaping for a few projects. .most recent was my river rock project in front and side of house and along my fence....the crew all work together and each crew know what they have to do all are in sync .... very pleased with how it looks.. definitely would recommend !

Violates town noise ordinance. Started mowing my neighbor's yard at 6:40 AM waking us up, in the town of Chelmsford no mowers are supposed to run before 7 AM.

Had them come by for a fall clean up. Unfortunately one of their guys came out and blew rocks, twigs, and leafs all over my car. Good thing my mother in law was home to catch the worker cleaning it all off as well. We messaged back and forth, I provided pictures and a quote from a detailer. Damage was not as bad as I thought so I feel lucky there. Got a call from an unhappy Marty trying to say that its all a joke and that the damages were already there to begin with. Totally unprofessional and it seemed like he was more mad than I was. We all make mistakes, even me. Its how we deal with the mistakes that makes the difference in professionalism. I even went the cheap route and didnt go through my insurance. It's my dream car and anything that devalues it is what Im trying to avoid. I can understand his frustration but his worker is at fault and his worker is representing him. Even after the quoted damage I still owe Marty $50 and I will honor it. I support local business and I will continue to use their services. Hopefully the next vist is more pleasant.

I have used Marty's a couple times now and I can confidently say they have not only met but have even exceeded my expectations. I use their lawn cleaning service in the fall but recently hired them for a small project clearing an area of my yard. Due to a miscommunication the job was not what I had hoped for. However, Marty's team quickly responded and came back to make sure I was happy with the work. I will definitely be using them again.

Next door neighbor hired Marty's do to spring clean up. Crew piled up debris along the adjoining back yard property line and blew a bunch of leaves onto our property. I raked up their mess and pushed the leaves back toward the property line and called to have them come clean it up. When they came back they blew all of the leaves further onto our property under some trees. I went back out to ask not to put leaves from the neighbors yard on our property and I was yelled at and told that they didn't have to clean up anything and I should just say thank you. Disgraceful. Do not hire these people if you want to stay friendly with your neighbors.

This was my second time having Marty's Home Improvement team complete a project at my house. Like last time, I truly couldn't be happier with the service, skill, professionalism and communication of all parts of Marty's team. I have recommended this team to family and friends in the past and would again.

We have had several good experiences with Marty's - cleanup, brush removal, minor tree work. The work has always been well done, they communicate well and return calls quickly, and I feel that I'm paying fair wages for work well done. The first people I call when I need such services.

They charged us an extra $100 to take up landscape cloth & left saying they were finished. When we started planting most of the cloth was just hidden under the mulch! Marty's excuse was that they couldn't get it all! Most of it would have been acceptable! Very poor business practice! I guess there is a reason they are rated 3 stars! My suggestion is to use someone else or do it yourself, which we are having to do!
