I gave Steve and his guys a very challenging tree removal...between 2 houses, with 2 electrical services just feet away. The quote was spot on and I accepted before the ink dried. Last night, a horrible storm came through Lake Texoma and a microburst came through and took down 370 foot plus trees. Steve and his team at Timberjack were here first thing this morning at 8:30 and you cant even tell that they were here. Not only are they very safe and very efficient but they leave your house like it was and better than it was before they got there. I highly recommend them. This is the third time Ive used them great service with a lot of expertise and knowledge.

My grass needed urgent attention because my previous lawn mowing sevice left me hanging dry. I called and Steve came right away. He booked the appointment and sent one of his guys, Jacob, same day. My front and backyard look so beautiful now. Jacob even got here early. He was dilligent, polite and very competent. My grass looked scary but Jacob tackled it and now I am relieved. Entire crew was polite and thorough. They used new equipment that made no significant damage to the property and they cleaned up before they left. I probably dont have enough room to say all the good things I want to say about the crew & owner. Wow. Instantaneous response time, professional, knowledgeable, approachable, incredibly conscientious down to the smallest detail. (They wear headsets to communicate as a team so that theyre not yelling over chainsaws, etc. They use an electric lift because its smaller & quieter than others. They rake the area as theyre cleaning up! Simply amazing.) We had them out to remove half of a storm-damaged tree, which they did in half the time expected. It was like watching a Nascar pit crew, they are that good. Trust me, you want Timberjak!

I called Steve he quickly came out and inspected a tree I was concerned about. He called me and thoroughly explain the type of tree and its condition. I contracted with him to cut the tree down and grind out the stump. He moved his schedule around to get it done the next day. He would ve been out faster if our insurance was faster! They showed up on time and ready to work on Thursday morning. They were professional and left our place better than they found it. They removed a very tall tree, ground the stump, removed a large wisteria and two shrubs. They chipped the wood and left everything very clean.

TimberJak employees and owner, are amazing folks. They helped my best friends grandparents, and did a very good job. I asked the supervisor if we could have a little of the wood and he allowed an employee to use his skid steer log grabber to move it across the yard and making it very much less work to move the wood to be loaded. DO NOT TRUST Lumber Jack, LLC. Removed Sherman neighbor s fallen tree on my rent house. Did not clean up leaves and other debris from driveway that was AN INTEGRAL part of quote. When I texted that job was not finished, the owner assured me by text that the leaves would be removed on Monday. I left a $1400. check to pay the quote at my Sherman house. I had surgery on the Monday and was unable to return to Sherman the following Friday. The leaves and debris are still there. I would NOT RECOMMEND Lumber Jak, LLC for anything. LLC means limited liability company. They live up to their name. They must specialize in fraud to senior citizens. CHURN THEM AND BURN THEM. I am considering legal action. Caveat Emptor!

We recently purchased a home in Denison on several acres and the trees had branches falling, were overgrown and in pretty rough shape. I called Timberjak and Steve came out to give us a quote and talk us through what his plans were for our front yard. Steve and his crew came out several days later and oh my goodness . They did a phenomenal job. Blew our expectations out of the water. We would 100% recommend them for all tree servicing needs. Our entire yard looks amazing and they really changed the look of our new home.

They did great work trimming up my oaks properly, even ones that were right around the house, and did a great job on removing two cedars. I had a 20 year old live oak that the freezing temperatures killed. After contacting e other companies, we decided to use Timberjak Tree service. The date and time were agreed on and the crew was to be at my house at 5:00 pm. The crew was on time and worked together like a well oiled machine. Weve wanted to build a privacy fence in our backyard since we moved in our home a couple years ago but we first needed to remove several trees/stumps. A couple of them had grown into the existing chain-link fence making it difficult to be cut down. My husband was able to cut some of the trees in the back yard with his chainsaw, but was not capable of getting the big one near the house. Thats when we hired Timberjak to help. They skillfully cut this very large tree with chains embedded into the stump, plus 2-3 more that we needed out of the way, along with grinding all the stumps. They were onsite multiple times to cut our trees and grind stumps because we have small children and did not want to remove the existing fence all at once. The owner was understanding of our request and worked with us as we waited for a large section of our fence to be rebuilt before we completed the work. In addition to being so flexible on this job, they were affordable! We had a couple of other local companies provide quotes and they were the most reasonable. The Timberjak team was professional and friendly! They have all the equipment needed to complete the job safely and efficiently. And as a bonus, the kiddos were entertained watching them work from inside. We highly recommend them to anyone needing help with removing/trimming trees!!!

They are currently at my home, the job isnt even done yet and already I cannot say enough good things about the guys here. Its not often anymore you find a company that cares let alone a company with employees that care. Had an estimator to the house on time, got a clear understanding of what was needed. They gave me a fair quote and sent the contract over after I agreed. We scheduled a day and they showed up in full force ON TIME. If you have ever gotten a quote on tree services before you know this kind of work can get expensive fast. Let me tell you when they show up it doesnt take long to see why you get your $$ worth here. I think I counted 6-7 guys, 4 large pieces of equipment and another 2-3 trucks with trailers. Not to mention gas and other hand tools. They have been careful not to tear up my grass as well as squeezing the equipment in and around my house, shop, garden and fence. Thank you guys!

I called Steve Hagen for the first time March 3rd. He arrived the next day, listened and gave me an on the spot estimate. Five days later his four man crew and himself arrived within 15 minutes of the time he had given. They started at 9 am and had completely removed six pines by 3:40 pm, including mulching all the limbs and a great job of cleaning up. All six pines were bracketed between my house and electrical lines. Each tree was 60-65 feet tall with stumps of 24 or larger diameter. Trunks and mulch were stacked as I had asked him. Steve and all his crew were polite, helpful and did everything I asked. Price was better than any other estimate. The service he refers for the stump grinding (Stump This) arrived the next day exactly when I was told and were of the same caliber as Steve and his crew. They finished the job and were great people.

They came up with a plan to remove a MASSIVE hackberry tree that was being ripped apart by the weight of its limbs. They came and strapped the tree and then took care of the tree first thing Monday. The job was finished before 3 pm. Excellent service AND the end cost was less than the original estimate. Plus, I dont have a tree threatening to fall through my garage anymore.

Steve initially came out for a quote. Our job was a smaller one, instead of upselling me on grinding my small stumps he told me where I could rent a grinder for cheap and DIY it. He told me due to the smaller and cheaper nature of our job the that in order to justify bringing his crew out I would need to wait until another job nearby was in process. When the go out to a job they bring the whole crew so it makes sense and I really appreciated the honesty and not making the price fit the crew. This immediately made me trust that this was the company to go with. I didnt have to wait long. A week later the crew had a near by job. They came out and listened to what my goal was and got to work. They even let me add on a last minute removal of some holly bushes. The crew worked fast, efficient and cleaned up after themselves EXTREMELY well. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have any tree trimming or removal done in the area.

Hired Steve to trim 2 of my giant Pecan trees in February 2021. It took him 3 attempts to finally show up when he said he would. Three months later the tree lost 2 giant branches, knocking out both mine and my neighbors utility and power lines. When I asked Steve if he could come take a look, he (conveniently) said they no longer service anywhere in McKinney. So now I have to hire another arborist to come fix the job Steve didnt do originally and clean up the mess. They were the cheapest quote I got, but I guess you get what you pay for.

I hired TimberJak for a full day of work on my property. The crew consisted of 6 guys (including the owner), two bucket lifts, lots of chainsaws, and a chipper. They all worked hard, worked well together and got a lot done. They removed two large trees and trimmed about a dozen more for me. They cut the wood into firewood-sized pieces and stacked it where I asked. At the end of the day, they cleaned up all the small stuff and left my place looking great. They were very accommodating to my requests throughout the day and they are very reasonably priced. I plan to hire them again.

Timberjak removed two large trees for my uncle. Unlike numerous other services in the area, Timberjak showed up as promised for the quote and for the service. They were very professional and did an excellent job.

Steve, the owner and head of his team, came out to my home and quoted verbally his job price of $2500. He collected full payment at end of 1st afternoon of work. He did not finish but promised to come back. This man never came back as promised. He did not finish the job he was paid to do. He does not answer any pleas from me. He has totally ignored me and it has been months! Steve is not honorable, professional nor decent in any way. He clearly takes advantage of jobs paid ahead of completion. Do not use this service. Do not believe anything this man says. He is a liar.

I had some really huge hackberry trees that killed my very old oak tree (along with the 2021 Texas freeze) and one hackberry was growing over my neighbors garage and in danger of falling if we had a bad storm so I decided I should have removed. We had two very large pine trees removed that were close to the house and a chain link fence . Steve and his crew were very prompt and careful not to touch the fence or the house. This company recently came out and did some work on our trees that where over part of the house and work on trees that had branches that where around power lines to our house. I hired and paid this company, in full, to cut down a tree and cut it into firewood. They cut it down but left 2/3rds of the tree, in massive chunks (weighing over a ton each), in my backyard & driveway that no one wants to tackle to remove. It is not what we agreed upon & they abandoned the project to completion after being paid.

Called on a Saturday morning and Steve was out to our house that day. Crew arrived and worked Tuesday-Thursday. Never a mess in our yard and they stacked all the wood we asked them leave! Great crew and awesome job with all of our very tall trees.

Steve and his crew did a great job removing several trees and hedges for us. We will use him again and recommend him as honest and hard working.
