Sexton Lawn & Landscape in Daphne

We had an amazing experience working with the team at Sexton Landscaping to completely redesign our backyard. Brandon was so helpful in creating a functional design and helping us stay within our budget. Our site manager Eric and Daniel and Michael made every step of a complicated backyard overhaul smooth and were available to talk and explain each step. They went above and beyond to make sure our backyard looks great and will stay manageable for us for years to come!

Brandon Weaver overhauled my irrigation system and did a phenomenal job. It was in very bad shape. He was knowledgeable, thorough, and personable. He continued working through swollen hands and arms from a hidden fire ant bed. I learned a lot from him as well. I would highly recommend Brandon to any that read this review.

Joey was my service tech today. This was his first time here. Right away he wanted to walk the yard and check the boundary lines. In doing so he pointed out several things to me that needed attention that I was unaware of. He did a great job explaining to me how he was going to treat these areas and what I could expect to see afterwards. Joey is a very courteous and polite, young man and he did a great job today. His upbeat attitude just added to the confidence that already had in Sexton Lawn Care. I believe next year my lawn is going to look better than it ever has.

Eric and his crew did a great job re-sodding my yard.

Eric, Dan and Mike did excellent work at my house yesterday (Nov 15). They completed a drainage project which involved very hard work and completed it in one day. I have peace of mind about water management at my house now. They even went above and beyond by applying fresh pine straw in places where their work had messed it up. They were also very professional. I must admit however the thing that impressed me most about them was what nice gentlemen they were. Thank you, Eric, Dan and Mike.

The designer, Pam Pace and the crew (Audrey, TJ, John and Zach) all did excellent jobs. Audrey says we can do that while TJ says easy as candy(sometimes while dancing)....their attitudes and work were truly commendable. Also, a shout out to Caiden Bennett who power washed the driveway. He did a great job and was a pleasure to speak with. This company has some terrific people. 9/27/24 This morning before 8 am Audrey and TJ showed up to fix a minor problem....once again they got it done quickly and correctly. I even got the opportunity to catch a few of TJs dance steps....these guys are really on the ball!!!

Extremely professional! Amazing planning by Pam Pace and execution by foremen Chris and Eric and team. I have used Sexton several times and would not hesitate to use them again and I recommend them highly. You won t find a better team in Baldwin Co.

Poor communication skills, dont do what they say theyll do. Had an interview with them (Foley branch) on September 27th. After the 45 minute interview I was told that I would receive a phone call later that day whether they did or did not choose me for the labor position. Never received a phone call, so I messaged them on indeed that afternoon at 5pm to no avail. Monday, the 30th I called and left a message with a lady who told me she would forward my message to who it needed to go to. Again to no avail. If you cant even give someone the common courtesy of returning a phone call, why would I want to work for you? Much less spend money with this company? The man who interviewed me said he was from New York. Maybe they do things differently up there I dont know. But I would assume the SAME PHONE he called me on to set up the interview is the SAME PHONE he could call me back on to say yes or no. My time is important. One thing I thought was strange about the interview is he sat there and told me that they get drunk afterwork on the property. Now why would you tell a potential employee that? Im four years sober from alcohol and the last place I would want to be is around people drinking, especially at my job. Save your time friends, and look elsewhere. There are plenty of other, more professional landscape companies down here in the gulf. edit to add. Yall are quick to respond to a review that you dont like but somehow, unable to get back with someone? Yall are quick to operate them keyboard fingers of yours but couldnt operate them to call somebody back? Im not buying it. The man who interviewed me did in fact say he was from New York because I brought up the fact I just moved here from north Alabama. Hes about six foot tall, short brown hair, and a has a cross tattoo on his calf. Now if you dont know who this is at your foley location then itd be wise to send somebody out there to investigate it because if THAT is who you have representing your company I feel sorry for yall. I as an individual who had a negative experience with your company have every right to speak my mind about it. If you dont want people speaking negatively about your company, maybe you should offer positive experiences instead. Whether they are potential applicants, or customers. Now have I made myself crystal clear?

I am so pleased with landscaping job provided by Sexton. Pam Pace designed beautiful planting beds around my home and Audrey and TJ executed the plan perfectly. I recommend Sexton Lawn and Landscape for any of your landscaping projects. They are wonderful to work with.

Let me start off with saying not one to leave very many reviews so this speaks volumes. My husband & I couldn t be more pleased with our trust in going with Sexton for our landscape & lawn needs. After numerous mtings w/ patient Pam aka designer, we moved fwd. The crew, Audrey ,Foreman,&Tj showed up 2days straight on time and were the most professional, hard working, & respectful group of guys . End result, GORGEOUS!!!!!! So don t hesitate if on the fence. We had Sexton landscape our backyard after we had a pool installed and were very pleased with their work. A few months after the irrigation system wasn t working properly so they sent out a crew to look at it and Eric, Ernie and Daniel fixed it right up. Eric was very knowledgeable of the system and I would highly recommend him to do any irrigation system work.

Chris and his crew did a great job on my sod install from start to finish. The communication and professionalism was excellent.

This is the second time Sexton Lawncare has spilled chemicals on our lawn in large areas causing our grass to die. No apology. Just tell us it will eventually grow out. Last time it was an area about 4 X 6 feet right in our front yard. They promised for months that they were going to come and sod the area and never did. This time there are not only yellow areas that now have died, , but also large sweeping black areas where the lawn is now shriveled and dying. So rude and nasty when we asked to have a representative meet with us to see our concerns. Their explanations make no sense of why a weed killer would immediately make the lawn black , not brown. The areas are all where their machine would make turns on our lawn and except for one area, not even where weeds are present. Both the lawncare manager and the owner of the company were extremely rude to me and refused to meet with us so we could show them our concerns. The lawncare manager stopped by (without first calling us )when we were not at home and just let himself into our fenced backyard startling my 95 year old MIL who was on the back patio. He claims the black is normal and no one will come back out so we can look at the areas together. We take pride in our lawn and spend a lot of time hand weeding, trimming, and mowing. We had new sod put in last October and are so upset that our beautiful lawn is now streaked with large black areas and dying grass. The only apology we got was that they were sorry for not apologizing THAT is not an apology. After the fact, the owner apologized for not meeting our expectations our expectations were that they not damage our lawn. We will never use their services again. Amendment - I may have mistakenly referred to Forrest as the owner. Perhaps he is just upper management?

We are really pleased with the landscaping of our front yard; from Pam s design, to Natalie s scheduling (weather issues), to the installation by Trey, Zack, and Nick. We highly recommend Sexton Lawn & Landscaping!

Among many good things I can say about Sexton is that they stand by their work. If there is a hiccup, as there often are in this type of work, they will keep going until it is right. I have used them for two projects (drainage, irrigation, sod and landscaping), and I will continue to use them for this reason. Pam created a beautiful and practical design and was so helpful and easy to work with. The crew Eric, Johnny, Ariel, Daniel, and TQ were great, and Trey worked particularly hard to ensure that things were satisfactory upon completion. I am very happy with the results.

When they were done, you could barely tell where they dug. The recent downpours put their work to the test and the drainage system they installed worked like a dream! Our landscaping needed a complete makeover. After getting several bids we went with Sexton and it was the right choice. Pam took great care of us. She put together a beautiful landscape design & within a couple days, she was back going over everything with us. She is extremely knowledgeable and had great suggestions, letting us know what will & will not survive our hot summers. When it came time to installing everything, Eric and Daniel were fantastic. They were both professional, responsive, and courteous. We had some concerns regarding the health of some of the plants they had brought out and without hesitation, they replaced them. There was an issue with a sprinkler head and they took care of it without charging extra. It took them 2 days and that included lighting as well. My wife and I are very happy.

I ve had Landscapers come & go in past 40 years.! Never again To the front, back, sides, pool area & beyond. So knowledgeable & professional. Up lights in all the perfect spots. And pathway lights. I have really never been this pleased with any landscapers I ve ever used. With 2 1/2 acres & part being a 1/2 acre pond I ve already been checking off areas to beautify. For I know Sexton will deliver in the process.

Horrible service and overpriced for the area. For anything outside of normal lawn care they tend to be atleast a multiple higher than other servicers for the same job. You will do very well to shop around. I found it unfortunate that I couldnt get reliable answers from them on landscaping without immediate attempts to oversell. And the time or two that I did try to work with them, their work was haphazard and I had to have others come and complete the jobs anyway. They also rely too heavily on automated services and interactions and communications with their staff outside of automation have been poor. To Sexton: these reviews are meant for potential customers as any review service is. People get to choose whether or not they care to read them. You asking me for my personal information over the Internet is a bit creepy and goes in line with what I meant about communication. Imagine leaving comments on an Amazon review and the creator coming after you... Terrifying.

I ve been using Sexton for a couple weeks now and so far I m very pleased with the results! Dustin does great work and is very pleasant to work with. From start to finish an awesome experience. We interacted with everyone involved from design to installation. All were friendly, knowledgeable and informative. During installation it appeared some changes to the initial design needed to happen. Pam was there immediately, listened to our ideas, made a few suggestions and finalized some changes that turned out to be incredible. The installation crew worked quickly and efficiently. Peyton and George are fantastic!!! I have a LOT of hedges and oak trees on my property which makes my yard quite a hassle!! They do an exceptional job trimming the hedges and keeping the oak leaves out of my yard and pool; they never complain about the extra work that my yard demands. If I ask them to tackle additional projects, they are kind, courteous, and promptly address it going above and beyond. Peyton always informs me when hes headed to my property and he follows up with me afterwards to see if Im happy with the service. He is the most professional and friendly maintenance personnel that Ive ever had on my property. My yard looks better than ever since these 2 guys took over! Thanks Peyton and George! The ladies in the office are great as well. They are extremely friendly and follow up in a very timely manner. Overall, great service!

Pam Pace can out to give use an estimate for installing sod and a irrigation system. Pam was super knowledgeable and professional. I have been a customer with Sexton Lawn and Landscape for one year. I reached out to them to request a consultation for my new house and the attached lawn. They sent Pam Pace to my home, and within a few minutes of meeting we had a plan, maintenance and fertilizer program set up. They installed a complete new landscape along with lighting, boulders, irrigation changes and beautiful trees around my property. The crews were diligent in making sure we did everything correctly and efficiently! Thank you Sexton for keeping my yard beautiful!

Sexton worked on installing French drains and grading our backyard to address flooding issues in our carport and laundry room. The entire team ( Pam Pace Brandon Parker, Daniel, Eric, and TQ) was professional, kind, and put great care into our project. They were careful while trenching to avoid underground lines and were diligent about completing the project quickly. We also appreciate that Pam Pace has followed up since the project completion to make sure we were happy and that everything was draining well.

I asked Sextons to work up a lighting plan for my home in Fairhope and not only did Pam Pace come and sketch it out, she had it implemented in record time. Quincey installed it and is working with me to get it completely aglow. Sometimes once a system is in place you see how good it looks and find a few other spots where you might want to light as well. Spring is here and my plants are waking up from a cold winter. Sextons will be keeping all the landscape in check and adding new pine straw as well. Many thanks again to Pam and Quincey.

Brandon, Eric, and TQ came out today to add sand to even out the turf. While I cant yet comment on the result of that I can say that the crew was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and worked efficiently. Thank you!

We asked Pam Pace from Sexton Lawn & Landscaping to come up with a plan that involved moving existing trees and bushes, installing 10 ft hollies, and creating a new planting bed at the front of the lot. She listened, came back with options then finalized a plan and did a super job. The crew led by Audrey Whitfield and Brandyn Goodloe did an outstanding job staying at it non-stop over the 2 1/2 days. Our property was left in great shape when done. Highly recommend this team!

I had a terrible erosion problem and could not get any grass to grow. Pam Pace came out and presented a plan to solve the problem. She was very thorough in making the assessment. Not too long after, Mykey Davis and Kenny Yeend were on site. They were prompt, professional, friendly and knowledeable. My yard has been transformed. I am extremely pleased with the end result.

Cant say enough good things about this company, and Brock Baker in particular. I called after-hours with a time-sensitive commercial repair; Brock was out first thing the next morning and had it completed by the end of the day. They get it done!

Many thanks to David and Franky for the great job they did removing freeze damaged fronds from a large palm on our property. They came a day early, worked efficiently, and took all the debris with them when they left--cant ask for more than that.

I have had a horrible exeprience with this company. They messed up in several areas. And getting them out here to perform warranty work is almost impossible. They give me dates and never show up.I have huge dips in my yard that gets bigger everytime it rains. They talked me into getting the most expensive sod and it looks worse than anyone in the neighborhood. They all have centipede. I have Zoysia. It isnt growing yet and its almost the end of april. Its still mostly dormant. They did fill in one section of the back yard that they didnt put sod down originally. guess what? Its St. Augustine! Its beautiful. The only part of my lawn that is green. They gave me a date to replace it with matching brown sod, but no show, no call AGAIN. DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Pam Pace did a great job designing our landscaping. She is a delight to work with. Gary Able was the Foreman on the installation. Gary & his team (Darion, Zach, & Neris) worked hard, made sure the installation went smoothly & completed everything on schedule. We highly recommend Sexton, Pam, Gary & their team.

Our entire experience with the Sexton team was top notch. Pam Pace created a great design that fit our budget and ticked all our boxes. Cody McClantoc did a great job swapping out our sprinkler heads for some that would work better with our low water pressure. Now my entire yard will get water. I would recommend him highly.

Addendum: Sexton s did the right thing by sending out a crew to replant our bed of jasmine with a fast growing ground cover. It only took 8 weeks to completely fill in and make the eyesore disappear. Thank you. I wish we could say we had the same experience as the rest of these reviews! Unfortunately we can not say the same. We hired them after having decided we loved the professionalism they brought to the table in the beginning. They came and we spoke together about the setvice and in a couple weeks we received a detailed quote of what the service would entail. We agreed in the quote and it s details. Then service began and each service did not live up to the agreement. We were told it was mainly about the time they slotted themselves to complete each service. In their slotted time the service was not completed as specified. Around our third (early spring) they did a weed and feed with a spray application. They sprayed our large jasmine bed and (30ft x 12ft) and killed 30 years of great growth. (Pic below). We complained and they said they would replant some, but of course it would take some time to fill in. Ugh and no! It s in our front yard at the sidewalk that leads up to our front door for all to see! We re not happy to wait for that to grow in. It s ugly now and will be ugly for a while. Meanwhile, the next to last time they came out they mowed our front yard, didnt even go in our backyard to do a thing! So, the last time they came my husband spoke to the lawncare person and he said to Forget it and he left. Not sure what all was said because I wasn t standing there. I know that he asked my husband to talk to him about his concerns and not call management anymore. So, now my husband calls management again and he decides to let them go. Now me, the wife gets back from a month long backpacking trip, nursing my body back to health after my kong walk. I make it outside just the other day and really noticed the jasmine bed that had some yellow patches of dying jasmine when I left has now completely died! I asked my husband to call them today and ask to speak to the manager again about our jasmine or lack there of. He called and now we re waiting for a call back. We hope they ll call back and we can come to some satisfaction about our concern.

Sexton Lawn and Landscaping recently completed a renovation project for our front yard. From start to finish, the Sexton team was exceptional to work with and helped make the process run smoothly. This started with Pam Pace, the senior residential landscape designer, who did an initial interview with us to understand the look we were going for and learn more about our preferences prior to designing the yard. This interview included doing a full walk of the yard and providing real time feedback based on her wealth of knowledge in what she felt would look good with our home. Once we received the design, we were blown away with excitement as Pam had taken into consideration all our recommendations. We could not believe that design could be our new yard. Once the renovations started, I was introduced to the renovation team that included Darius Thomas (Project Foreman), Travis (Polling Foreman), Zack Parker, and Brandon Byrd. Best words to describe this team is amazing, professionalism, hardworking, kind, mindful, and determined. Throughout the project, Darius and his team kept us informed on progress and would re-confirm the specifics of the renovation prior to installation of a particular section. With every project there is a challenge, and we did have one here with an unexpected hurdle we had to work through. Again Darius, Pam, and their team provided their recommendations to resolve the problem and were willing to work with us to do what we felt was best to keep the original design still doable. Once the hurdle was cleared it was smooth sailing to finishing the project. We can t say thank you enough to the entire Sexton Team for their assistance in getting this job done and always being available to answer any questions. Their customer service was awesome and would recommend them to anyone else looking to redo a yard or any other landscaping job.

Sexton just did a complete overhaul on our backyard & we couldnt be more pleased. Pam was professional, extremely helpful & patient with us from the beginning. She did an excellent job designing our yard & advising us on the best thing to do. Once the project started Stephen, our project manager was great to work with. He was very communicative in explaining things to us along the way & making sure everything was done properly & as we wanted it. He & his helper Kyle worked especially hard for us to get the job done right, as did Brandon in helping with the sod.

Update 11/14. Still no contact. Update 11/8. Still havent heard from anyone except the billing department. They did manage to send a bill. Ive only used their lawn health service (fertilization) since May 2023 needless to say the experience has been bad. 3 of 4 visits were no call no show. The most recent no show and 5 weeks late. Ive had to remind them Im still a customer for each visit. Lawn is worse than before they took it over. Ive emailed their operations manager trying to get resolve and this person has yet you respond. Guess going local and spending more was not the right choice

Sexton Landscaping just completed the landscaping project for my home. I had a complete overhaul of my landscaping beds in the front and back of my house that also included replacing the sod in the front yard. Pam Pace was my sales representative and Pam was extremely helpful, professional, knowledgeable during the entire process from day one until the final completion of the project. Any time I had a question she was very timely and helpful with her responses and follow through. Jonathon was the foreman for my job along with other employees Brandon and Alex. The entire crew of Jonathon s was extremely professional, thorough and responsive to any and all questions I had about the job and completed the job in the manner in which Pam and I had worked on as the plan. The overall end result has been a beautiful transformation of my home. The questions that I ve had since the job has been completed has been answered and if anything needed to be addressed Pam and Jonathon and his crew have been extremely responsive and made the changes in a very timely manner. My expectations were exceeded and TQ-Foreman, did a fantastic job implementing the plan. My wife and I are delighted with the outcome and will use Sexton Lawn and Landscape again in the future. I was a loyal customer for a few years. My overall experience was not that great. Their crews were very friendly, but overall I do not recommend Sextons. A mistake made by a business should not be passed on to the customer. Feel free to contact me.

Sexton did a great job at lawn treatments and landscaping changes at our first Fairhope home (in Rock Creek) and theyve done similarly for us with lawn treatments and two projects at our new home in The Colony. So we naturally looked to them for a third project at our Colony home. This latest project was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. To get the project completed on time (before Christmas) Sexton was forced to send out a relatively inexperienced crew. They did a good job, but there were a few things that I wished were done differently. Robert (the landscaping supervisor) from Sexton followed up with me to see how things had gone. He listened to my concerns about the things I had wanted done differently. Robert committed that those items would all be addressed. Now, theyve all been addressed except for reapplying pine straw, which I requested to delay until the Spring. This is a fine example of Sextons commitment to follow up, deliver a top quality job and ensure customer satisfaction .

I was looking for someone to make my vision for my new home come to life through landscaping. I wanted a true Southern yard, and I am so glad I trusted Sexton Lawn and Landscape. Pam Pace was a delight to work with from start to finish. She easily transformed my ideas to a plan and worked with me on prioritizing my budget. They have done a great job for me in the past when I spent thousands of dollars. The last few times that I needed them on small jobs, I couldnt get a call back and when they did, they never came out to my property.

From Kendall in the front office, Pam Pace our landscape designer, Tyler and crew who evaluate the already installed (DIY) sprinkler system and gave us a quote for a new system, to Corey and his crew(s) aka the best crew at Sexton, who worked with us on our two projects. Back yard project - February 2022: Pam Pace, Tyler (sprinkler quote), Corey, Tyler (again) and Cesar Front yard project - May 2022: Pam Pace, Corey, Cesar and Bryant Projects included: removal of old landscaping and sprinkler system, grading, drainage systems, rock, sod and decorative landscaping. Our only wish was that Sexton Landscape had a drone and a go-pro or similar camera system to document the before, during and after footage because a few pictures here and there doesnt give the full story of our yards amazing transformation.

Ms. Pam, the landscape designer at Sexton, designed my front beds more than three years ago and she absolutely knocked it out of the park. Her design for my beds has sustained through the years and I still get lots of compliments on my landscaping. The best part of the process was Pam actually listening to me when I said that I have the black thumb of death when it comes to greenery. I needed something easy to maintain and the plants she installed only need occasional weeding of the beds and a yearly trim.......I can handle that! Pam was also able to beautifully incorporate a sentimental tree and some mountain rocks from Arkansas into the design. I highly recommend Pam for her plant knowledge and landscape design skills. Give her a call at Sexton ASAP!

Very well pleased with the service I got After getting work scheduled they eithe e-mailed or called to let us know of any changes. When the crew showed up they walked the yard and went over what was going to be done and gave good advice on what would be better to do then what we wanted and was no pressure into making the changes. Corey, Ceeaser and Daniel did a great job Corey and Ceaser seemed to know what each other wanted without a lot of conversation which to me showed they know what they are doing. Corey always took time to answer any questions I would ask. After the work was done if I had questions or concernesd they would make arrangements to come out and look at the yard to make any repairs if they were needed. If I ever have any more landscaping work done they will be my first call for sure. Thumbs up for exalent work done by the crew sent to my house.

I had Sexton Lawn and Landscape design and put in a new look to my yard last summer. They have been wonderful in helping me keep it up as well as making suggestions on to improve my maintenance of it . They are an excellent landscape company. Pam, Chad, Mickey, and Daniel all worked on our yard. Very professional, on time, and hardworking group. Contacted Pam about having a dry creek drain installed. She responded quickly and came to the house to draw up a plan to get us on the books. The guys arrived a day ahead of schedule (they did notify us to make sure that was fine), did a great job on the new drainage and cleaned up yard. Looks great.

I hired Pam, the Drainage Specialist and Amber needing a solution to a drainage issue back in march. Immediately met me at the property and within 24 hours provided a solution to my drainage issue. Corey, Cesar, and Bryant came to the site and worked quickly and made my property look amazing. There have been a couple times I had questions after the install and Pam was always available to take my call. We had some real problems to Overcome before calling Sexton, but their professionalism brought a solution and gave me a much needed peace mind. I would recommend Sexton for any drainage need or landscape design. Reach out to Pam or Amber. They will get it done!

I have ordered their yard work and sod installation in May the work was finalized in mid August. There was a fully unprofessional first installation which had to replace. The second installation is still bad quality. I have to use someone else to fix their work.

Sexton just finished landscaping our backyard after we installed a pool. We are very pleased - the outcome was even better than we imagined. The Sexton staff is very knowledgeable and were a pleasure to interact with from beginning to end.

Helped us get put of a messy irrigation leak fast when plumbers couldnt. They were able to pinpoint and repair a buried leaking pipe in less than 20 min. Very friendly and professional.

This business is very unreliable! For two solid weeks I have been put off by this company after making several calls to verify an appointment scheduled for today, March 17, 2021. I called several times because I was told that I would receive a confirmation email following my first call, for which the email has yet to come. I called in yet again this morning for verification and was told the person scheduled to come to my home canceled today. Had I not called in, I would have still been expecting someone to come to my home!!!! Please Do NOT be fooled by this business!! They sound professional over the phone, but they do not keep their word! This speaks volumes about what could and WILL happen once they get your business.

I have a weekly routine service with Sexton Lawn & Landscape. Matt Brown exceeds our expectations for our property we manage. When their are weather delays, he personally gives me a call ahead of time to let me when he will be onsite to service our community. He sends me photos through out his visit and always comes to my office to check to make sure he has met all of our needs. Matt is hard working and aims to please his customers! Sexton s came to do a total front yard makeover. Two trees, plus several large and difficult shrubs. Oh.. and that 8 ft clump of bamboo were removed. 60+ new flowers and smaller shrubs added. Lighting added to remaining trees and front porch pillars. Not to forget, a total irrigation system in front plant beds. Very reasonably priced. Call Ashley, and she ll give great recommendations on what to do. Chad the foreman, and his hard working crew, very pleasant to work with. Yard was left in pristine condition, and now is the envy of the neighborhood. I would greatly recommend them for any yard service they have. Just remind Chad to bring the doughnuts!

Our project manager, Brock, and his team (Aaron and Adalid) are THE reason I would recommend Sexton to friends or family. Last year, our beautiful wooded yard was decimated during hurricane Sally. Due to having a new baby and the pandemic, and for almost a year it had remained a mess and source of anxiety for our family. We signed on with Sexton in hopes of restoring its previous beauty in a new way. My nerves were completely put at ease the day Brock and his guys arrived to start the demolition process. Brock always had the attitude that he was there to bring our familys vision to life. He provided guidance any time it was needed, but was equally willing to let us give direction or make changes. He never once complained or seemed frustrated when unexpected weather or challenges arose. Brock, Aaron and Adalid created a fun work environment, but it was never at the expense of their professionalism or work ethic. They showed competence in all areas, including restoration, irrigation, and installing the plants. Brock and his guys truly knocked it out of the park, and I finally love looking out of my windows again.

We decided to use Sexton to do a full overhaul of our front and side yard after they were devastated from the storms in 2020. Despite the issues everyone is having with materials and labor, the guys at Sexton were able to get the job done. My wife and mother in law are both in love with the finished product. Special thanks to Brock, Aaron, and Adalid for their hard work. Brock especially, who demonstrated the kind of diligence, attention to detail and integrity that is rarely found and cannot be taught. Sexton is lucky to have him.

From the sales, Pam, to our installer, Brock, they did an incredible job with new design. It looks great and worked with us on every decision to make sure we d be happy with it.

Called and made an appointment for some cleanup and removal of planter boxes. I also asked for a quote for weekly lawn maintenance. They never quoted me after the rep came out to our home. Said they would email me 2weeks ago. I suspect my money is no good here so I m wondering why? Seems to me they pick and choose instead of putting service as a number one priority. For that reason I do not recommend this company.

We contacted Sexton to help us primarily with a complex drainage issue that was making our yard not as functional as we wanted it to be. Our yard has a high water table, is at the low part of the neigborhood, and backs into a creek. Pam designed a long-term solution to get the excess water out of the yard, and Brock, Adalid and Craig came in and implemented it over a three week period. The results are amazing. We have healthy grass and a dry yard that makes our home much more enjoyable. The team was always on-time (even with weather challenges) very professional, and most importantly, always listened.

Pam, Chad, Cesar, Travis, and Bryant were all professional, punctual, and hard working. They took on a tough irrigation job on a hillside and executed it perfectly. Each team member went above and beyond to keep the area around the house clean and accessible each day. Would highly recommend this crew.

I have worked with Sexton Landscaping for three years now. When I moved this spring, one of my first calls was to Pam Pace. She had helped me plan and develop my previous yard into a beautiful garden. I am sure that is why I was able to sell that property in six days. My friends were all shocked that I would leave that setting. But I knew my new home had the same potential. This fall Pam did it again, with designing a beautiful retaining wall, front plantings and a dry creek bed! The Sexton team on this project included Brock, Corey and Adalid. They were diligent in their work and took pride in each step of the process. Both Pam and Chad, the projects superintendent, came by each day to check progress and make sure I felt good about how it was proceeding. The end project far exceeded my expectations. I am looking forward to the next project, adding up lighting!

My wife and I recently moved into a new neighborhood in Foley, AL. As with many new neighborhoods our backyard was not one that we could enjoy relaxing and entertaining due to the severe slope. We contacted Sexton Lawn & Landscape to come out and see our conditions and work with us for a design makeover that would give us the yard we would be proud of and enjoy. Ashley James, one of their landscape designers came out and we explained to her our wish list. This project was pretty extensive as it included excavation and building retaining walls due to the sever slope, approximately a 15 x30 paver patio area, a privacy screen around an area where the spa will be installed, approximately a 2 x20 raised flower bed, a 9 x13 raised vegetable garden, 5 trees of various varieties, lighting, irrigation system and reworking the beds in front of the house along with stone work in all these areas. Let me say that Ashley knocked this design out of the park. Now to the execution phase. The team that was assigned to this project were Brock Baker, Corey Curtis and Adalid Hernandez. I cannot say enough good things about this crew as we were very very fortunate to have these guys assigned to our project. They were extremely knowledgeable, very professional and kept us informed throughout the project. Light rains did not stop this crew. They were very punctual and worked late into afternoon. Each day before leaving the did a clean up. An excellent crew to work with. Ashley and Chad came out regularly checking the progress and to check if we had any issues. I can assure you that if and when I need additional landscaping projects my go to will be Sexton. Kudos to Ashley, Brock, Corey, Adalid and Chad. They came out to clear out overgrowth and downed limbs on our property. Very professional and helpful every step of the way. The job was done quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend!

Their salesman came out to take measurements for a landscaping project. He told me he would call the following week with an estimate, but never did. Not the first person this has happened to from what Im told.

As President of Equality Condo Owners along with the other owners have been on a mission to solve a multi-facet problem. That mission ended today in the completion of a landscape project by the Sexton Landscaping by the boots on the ground landscaping, team of Chris and Adalid. The project solved the functional problems of poor drainage and people parking on our lawn (next to the no-parking sign). But an equally satisfying aspect of the project was the huge impact aesthetically. The installation of multi-colored, multi-sized river bed rock stretching across our lawn from culvert to culvert turned our property from an eye-sore into a renaissance painting. But dont believe me. Drive by our condo at the corner of Equality Avenue and School Street, two blocks from the downtown Fairhope to see for yourself. Enjoy the view! Also I would like to thank the upfront team of Jamie, Tim and Murray who orchestrated the design and executed the process flawlessly.. Thank you Sexton!

Very impressed and pleased with pavered walk paths and landscaping work Sexton completed for us in February. From the very start working with Pam on initial ideas to Chad s team with Cesar & Freddie executing and adjusting to unforeseen circumstances I cannot say enough about the quality of their work and professionalism.

Christopher Nelson, Adalidi Hernandez and Jordan Lundy just completed a job at our home to address a water issue. They updated the dry rock bed and put in a drainage system to move water down our sloped yard. Some soil and sod and they were done. They stayed in touch during the project and were very polite. Working with Sexton has been a great experience for us. We began with them four years ago, when they developed a plan to literally pull out our prior landscaping (which was just a mess of weeds) and completely re-do the entire lot (which is 50 x 300 feet). Their staff is excellent and highly knowledgeable. Also, they are extremely responsive-when we did have an issue with the lawn or a planting, they sent someone out immediately to remedy it. I would definitely use them again.

Too expensive but great plant material

We recently had a landscape makeover by Sexton. The service was excellent from the design process to the last day of the install. Pam, Murray , and Chris were great to work with and their combined knowledge made the entire process headache free. And the end product looks great. Highly recommend Sexton Lawn and Landscape.

I had a tree down on Monday as a result of Tropical Storm Cristobal. I called Sexton Landscapes, my monthly yard maintenance service, and asked if it could help. Amber sent Chris and Ben THAT DAY and those two had the whole tree chainsawed, cleaned up and out of the way very quickly, including the stump! They were friendly, hardworking and professional. I so appreciated the quick response and handling of my isuue. I highly recommend Sexton Landscapes and Chris and Ben.

In February, Pam Pace, along with Austin and his team did an awesome job of redoing my front flower bed. In May I called Pam Pace back to help design a patio and bed for my backyard. Chad Mason and his team completed the task this last week. My new tree and azalea bed, and paver patio and pergola expanded my former 2 seater patio into a comfortable size and I love it.

Sexton completed a landscaping project to surround a brand new pool installation. The entire team was quite communicative and professional. I could not have been more pleased with not only the result, but the entire project was a delight Chad our project foreman was on site all day and kept us up to date each evening with what was done and what we could expect the next day. There were absolutely no surprises nor loose ends. That was not the case with the pool company, so it just made this team shine all the more. She and our landscaper, Brock, were very kind, professional, and followed up after the job was completed to make sure we were satisfied with the work they had done. Pam was also knowledgeable about the types of plants that grow well in this region, taking into account your needs for aesthetic beauty, maintenance-free or low maintenance, and susceptibility to fungi, insects, etc. Now we have a beautiful yard from all sides and one that we can enjoy for many years as retirees!

Unable to maintain a schedule for staff or even keep an appointment. As a potential new customer, my appointment was cancelled because the representative was no longer available. I had changed my business calendar to accommodate theirs and they cancelled our meeting. If this is how a potential customer is treated, whats it like if you are a customer?

Sexton is a first class company to work with. I needed my abysmal backyard to become a wonderful place to spend time in. I presented my dreams and desires to the landscape designer, April. (Winding walkways, points of interest and places to rest.). She presented me with the perfect design. Chad, Matthew and Caesar came to my home and turned her design into a wonderful oasis of winding walkways, restful paved sitting areas and beautifully planted beds. These are the most skilled and easy to work with professionals I have encountered. This amazing project was perfectly executed in their estimated time frame. My husband and I couldn t be happier with the results.

Our yard looked like a bomb had gone gone off after hurricane Sally. Two oaks down, sagging fence, turf and irrigation system destroyed from uprooted trees and the heavy machinery required to remove them. Tim Sansom did an outstanding job of helping plan the repairs and enhancements. We misfired on a couple of the items and he patiently worked with us to fix. The men who did the actual work were excellent. Brock and Adalid worked for three days to repair the damage and install new shrubs and trees. This is a good company who you can trust to do the right thing.

The crew did a nice job cleaning, clearing, and shaping a very overgrown yard with numerous bushes and hedges. The crew was hard working and eager to please. The irrigation system repair work we had done in the past was also handled efficiently and professionally.

We have used Sexton Lawn & Landscaping on previous landscaping projects & have always been extremely happy with the results. Pam is always great about listening to what you want and making suggestions where they are needed. We recently had to redo a section of our yard due to storm damage. The finished product turned out better than we imagined. Pam did a great job of laying out the design and Chad, Cesar and Matthew always showed up on time and worked hard. They are excellent at being able to follow the plan and make changes that will best suit the layout of the landscape and the customers desires. Their personalities are so delightful that I almost hate to see the project come to an end. Also, I would be remiss if I didn t mention the irrigation specialists, Tyler & Murray. Great guys that really know their stuff. I have had numerous problems with my irrigation system partly due to original installation (not done by Sexton) and living on a slope. Tyler has come to my rescue on many occasions. He always shows up and shows out (on time and efficient, with a good attitude). Thanks so much for another job well done!!

We met with the designer, Pam Pace, to discuss our need for some updated landscaping, sod where a large tree came down, a new ornamental tree, new beds with large privacy bushes/trees, irrigation adjustments and a beautiful stacked stone border across the front and side of the house and around two oaks out front. We had worked with Pam on a stone patio a few years ago, so we knew how talented, knowledgeable and responsive she is. We wanted established, healthy plants and we couldn t be happier with the finished product. We had an absolutely wonderful crew and we highly recommend them for your next project. Sexton recently completed a large landscaping project for us and were very happy with the results. We worked with Pam on the design and once that was finished, the work was scheduled and completed without issue. We even had some unexpected tree problems come up before the job started which created last minute design changes which were taken care of. Jason and his crew did a great job. Everyone was very friendly and communication was great.

All of Sextons staff have bent over backward for us. Pam Pace in designing our backyard Oasis, Chad and Freddie for putting it all together, Robyn Sparks, for keeping us informed of what our lawns need. Their customer service is TOP NOTCH. Right now, I wouldnt trust our Paradise to anyone else. If you arent satisfied, they always AIM TO PLEASE and will make it right.

Sexton hanldles our commercial account for the Popeyes restaurants in Baldwin County. I had an extraordinary exchange with one of the Team Members today at my Daphne location. We have been working with Sexton Lawn and Landscaping for about 1 year. They have helped us with our irrigation system and getting it working properly. Also have done soil analysis and treatments to get our lawn looking much better. Horrible. Maybe being a Landscape Architect, causes me to be over critical of my experience with Sexton s but they are a nightmare when it came to the landscaping I had done by them. They did not want to stand by their warranty on their plant material, they gave me the run-around when I tried to contact them, etc. etc. And yes I have been employed by landscaping firms so have an idea of what I am talking about. Horrible company. Big name, little service.

I have been working with Sexton for seven months to revitalize my backyard. Services have included irrigation, french drains, and landscaping. Sexton was attentive to my concerns and goals and helped me to develop a beautiful, low maintenance haven. Project days have been executed proficiently with attention to detail. After making a lot of changes in my back yard, I called Sexton to see about getting some sod. I told Tim what I wanted done and he told me what Sexton could do and how theyd do it. Johnathan and his crew came in and did everything right, including making sure the irrigation system was doing its job and taking out a section of cement so I could enlarge the yard. It came out great, as you can see from the pictures. (Tree was removed by another company.) So, last year, I had them take care if the front. This time, it was Pam who told me what they could do for me and it was, again, Johnathan, Alex and crew that did a terrific job on the installation, which included sod, a walkway and re-doing a flowerbed. They made sure I knew what was happening every step of the way. Sexton also followed-up after the job to make sure there are no problems. Every service and job theyve done has been top-notch and its a pleasure working with the company.

Sexton did a complete landscape of our side yard. The job involved grading, replacing the soil, a walk path, irrigation, drainage, lighting, plant beds with all new plants, and a raised decorative bed. The process was perfectly smooth. Every detail in the communication, planning, design, process, and completion, was outstanding. Pam listened carefully to our goals and tastes. She brought a plan that needed very little adjusting. Chad and Freddie completed the job in remarkable time. They communicated well and brought to our attention anything that we needed to be aware and made excellent suggestions about every detail including things we would not have thought about. Immediately upon completion of the work, professional staff met us to inspect and plan follow up over the next few weeks to monitor plant health. We selected Sexton because we use them to treat our front yard sod. It is healthy and weed free even when nearby yards struggle with weed control. One of the prettiest yards in the neighborhood was designed and is maintained by Sexton. Their work speaks for itself. We wish other businesses in our area would consult with Sexton to learn their business practices and processes.

Sexton Team does a exceptional job in all aspects. The people are professional and very nice at all times. I believe it comes from Sid Saxton, the customer comes first. My yard team is lead by Jamal whom is always ready to do his job and please. Pam Pace did some landscape design work and Robyn & Jason take care of fertilize and weed control. Everyone is a real asset to the company.

We are so impressed with our new Pergola Sexton Lawn and Landscape built in our back yard. We called them and Pam came out immediately and created the perfect sketch of what we had dreamed of !! Mike built a beautiful pergola complete with electricity and ceiling fan !! Chris and his crew poured the cement and the color was perfect ! The final touches were to add flagstone steps and Jim did an amazing job. We couldnt be happier with our Newback yard.

After attempting to hire three landscape companies, I finally found one that showed up and did the job to perfection! Pam was my landscape designer and when she presented the plans, I said: You actually nailed it! Youve included everything I asked for: boulders, lighting and color. Chad and Freddy were my guys for removal and installation and bringing Pams design to life. Communication was fantastic and their work ethic was exceptional. I cannot imagine doing their job in the summer heat of Alabama but they did not stop. Cannot say enough great things about Sexton. We installed a pool in our back yard and then had Sexton come in to install landscaping to complete the project. Pam worked with us on the design and Caleb, Donnie and Murray were the team that did the work. They could not have been better to work with. Wow! I would highly recommend Sexton to everyone, and I do not say that often. From the first meeting with Pam Pace to the final walk through with Chad and Freddie, I could not be more impressed with the quality of service I received. Pam arrived, was so easy to talk with, and talked about the problems such as drainage. She asked about the style of garden, what plants I liked and disliked and budget. The second meeting, I saw the design. WOW! She nailed it! Easy to care for, low maintenance, colorful (not only the flowers but the shrubs, too)and well spaced (so many places want to sell you too many plants so it will look good now but will be a jungle later). From the moment, Chad and Freddie showed up, it was right to work! We discuss the lay out, drainage problems and answered every question I had. These two guys are some of the hardest working and best natured guys I have ever met! ( AND again, I do not say that often) They kept me informed with every part of the process, what they were doing and why they were doing it. They went way above the call of duty! They ,also, took alot of pride in their work, which is rare these days. And Jim, he showed up to scope out the job and returned towards the end of job to make sure the job was up to Sextons standards. Everyone ended their conversations with me by saying If you have any questions or problems, just call and I have. From the quality of service to the quality of plants I received from Sexton, it has been 5 stars all the way!

We highly recommend Sextons! I never liked the builders package of landscaping that came with our house in 2007. It had too many Indian Hawthornes and holly trees. We built a pool in 2017 and consulted with Pam about landscaping then. We decided that we thought we could handle it on our own. Wrong, we could not. This year our front flower beds were becoming overrun by a horrible torpedo grass. We decided to contact Pam again. She was wonderful in coming up with a plan for handling all our concerns. Sexton was able to schedule our landscaping in a very timely manner. The project manager, Austin, and his crew where very professional and efficient. Austin went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. The woodwork build by Mike is exceptional. Pams customer service and follow up is outstanding. We love our yard now! Thank you Sextons!

I heard about Sexton on the radio and I started using them for spraying my lawn. After our pool was done we contacted them again and Pam worked with mine and my wife s work schedule to meet with us. She showed up at our house after work one night completely prepared with the design we asked for and print outs of all the plants so we understood what we were getting. We signed on with Sexton. A week later Murray, Chris, Austin, and Adalid showed up bright and early. All we a delight to have around courteous and respectful. They all did a great job. Just had completed an excellent landscaping job from Sexton Lawn & Landscaping. The team, led by Caleb, and included Alex and Donnie were very professional, courteous, customer oriented and detailed in accomplishing what the project called for, but more importantly providing the customer with the product they were looking for. I highly recommend Caleb and his team for any landscaping project a homeowner may have in the future. I know that we will have another project after the first of the new year and we will request Caleb and his team to be the team that completes that project. A group of hardworking guys that have a goal of total customer satisfaction.

We had Sextons for several years taking care of our lawn, spraying for weeds, pets etc. We switched for one year to another company to save a little money and ended up losing our lawn! We have learned our lesson and are back with Sextons ! We also had them do a rather large landscaping project in our backyard this Spring and we LOVE it. My husband and I sit on the patio every morning and evening admiring our beautiful backyard!

Sam is great! He always gets in touch with me to let me know when hes going to my house. Im picky about my dog and kids getting in the yard too soon after its sprayed, so he makes it a point to make sure I know. So nice to trust people to go to your house when your not there. The ladies in the office that manage my contract are also extremely patient (I went back and forth multiple times about what services I wanted) and very nice. Overall great service.

Have heard wonderful things advertised on 106.5 FM. So, I decided to give an email to see if I could get an estimate on updating my front yard. The web site indicates that I am within the serviced area. However, I was emailed back and told that I am just outside the area....by a few miles. Gee, thanks.

Big time fan of this company. They did the initial landscape plan and install when my house was constructed and actually followed up at the one year anniversary to check on everything. They have since helped me execute a long term plan with fertilizers and other services. The staff is very polite, prompt and leaves the place clean.

Sexton by all accounts is an extremely solid business and doesnt deserve to have their rating dinged by someone who sounds a bit mentally unstable.
