I was worried that Id need to replace my fence in the process, but they disassembled and rebuilt it on the new wall without any issues. There was about a 6.5 week lead time from placing the order to starting the work, but they got the job done in just 3 days once they started. Overall, great work and very competitive pricing.

I had an incredible experience with JCL Landscape to rebuild our retaining wall and straighten our privacy fence. I initially reached out to the company in January and Robert responded immediately, coming out to do measurements, understand the scope of the job, and provide a quote. He estimated a 12-14 week wait time, but then checked in with me early March to let me know they could start the job early. Amazing! The crew Julio and his team that rebuilt the retaining wall did such a wonderful job. The original wall was old railroad ties, probably full of termites, and was actively decaying. JCL removed all of the debris from the old wall, and designed a beautiful stone wall that Im sure is going to stand the test of time. Its truly bringing us peace of mind as homeowners knowing that we arent losing our yard to erosion. JCL also straightened our privacy fence as it was beginning to lean into our neighbors yard, and the couple that did that work were so thorough. Again, peace of mind that were properly taking care of our home and property. Overall, the experience with JCL Landscape and Robert was fantastic. Robert and JCL landscaping have been wonderful to work with! We did fencing and over 120 feet of retaining walls. I would 100% use them all over again.

We had significant retaining wall damage due to the storm/high winds about three months ago. Basically the builder only had about a foot of the fence post cemented into the 4 foot retaining wall, so the high winds bent the poles and required retaining wall repairs with new posts. We engaged JCL and are extremely impressed with the people we worked with as well as the end results. We first dealt with Robert, who is professional, knowledgeable and responsive. The fence crew quickly took our fence down and neatly stacked it where directed. Then the retaining wall crew came in and did an amazing job removing the existing poles, rebuilding the rock facade, and installing new poles that are seated much further into the retaining wall. And finally the fence crew returned to reinstall the fence. All teams were capable and efficient. Our fences are now rock solid and the retaining walls look better than new! We would not hesitate to use JCL again or to recommend them to others.

We contacted JCL to get a bid for 2 retaining walls with fence posts on our property. Robert was prompt with his responses, fair with his bids and offered a great warranty. They gave us timing up front on how far out they were booking and when a spot opened up sooner called to get us in right away. The end results are beautiful and while we did have some initial miscommunication on one of the walls, Robert was hands down one of the easiest and most respectful people I have had the pleasure of working with and ensured that the project was not considered complete until we were happy. I cannot say enough good things about him or his work ethic and we are quite happy with the new retaining walls.

JCL did an outstanding job on a retaining wall project in our backyard. After 30 years it was time to remove the pool. JCL Landscaping did a fantastic job. Very respectful of our property and left the job site clean. We left the large inground spa and JCL took special care not to damage the spa and coping. Our girls love their new yard.

I hired JCL to replace my old railroad tie retaining wall with a new stone one and install stone edging around my garden. They were amazing! The wall is beautiful and the garden looks so much cuter with the new stones. I worked with Robert and he was so quick and attentive with my quote and my questions. He took care of the permitting for me and even got me an engineering report within a day when my HOA asked for one. Pricing was also very reasonable and came in under my budget. I hope to hire JCL again next year to replace the retaining wall on the side of my house. I recommend them highly!

I cannot say enough great things about this Company. We had a retaining wall built across our entire back yard (which backs up to a tee on a golf course) and on both sides. Also had a pad built for our future generator. The workmanship is superb...they dont just build ... they create! The Operations Manager (Robert) walked us through the process and left us with no questions. The crew he sent were the hardest working, politest 3 guys Ive ever met. Nathan was responsive and helpful from quote to completion. I had a big job that took nearly 2 months to complete, multiple retaining walls, some over 4 feet high requiring permits, in addition to a flagstone patio. Not only did it turn out great, the crew had a can-do attitude and was respectful to my family and my property. They also worked with the city attaining the permits and working with the city inspectors. Hoping to have them out for more jobs in the future.

They came in, removed all of the components of the old wall, ensuring no destruction of any other part of my yard, the began the construction of our new stone wall. They protected my lawn, my drive, my front curb area...we experienced no negative effects to any of our property. The wall was reconstructed in less than two days, as promised, and is a beautiful addition to our backyard landscape. We are very satisfied with the entire experience. JCL was responsive to any inquiries I had, provided the services at a fair price, and provided a great addition to our property while ensuring they did not complicate anything by damaging any other part of my property.

The whole JCL crew did a fantastic job on my project. I had around 200 feet of retaining wall that needed to be torn down and rebuilt properly. Brandon gave me a very good bid and I liked his idea and knowledge of what needed to be done. They were able to use the rock from the old wall to help with the backing of the new wall. Hiring JCL was the best decision we made for the preservation of our home. Due to several intense and severe rain storms, the landslide took place on a hill. My retaining wall was standing on top of the hill so the landslide took the retaining wall with it. The damaged wall as long as over 60ft and looked very expensive to repair. I called around different contractors to rebuild the wall and re-grade the hill. Brandon with JCL Landscaping company gave me the best estimate which was almost half of what other contractors presented to me. I researched about the company online and decided to go with him. Brandon and his team did a great work very efficiently. The wall was rebuilt really well with proper footer rail with rebar, extra drainage pipes and also harvested all the re-usable materials to keep the cost down, and came with 5 year replacement warranty. If you are looking for a good landscaping contractor, I strongly recommend calling him before you go with any other contractors. Even if you do not go with him, he will give you an honest estimate so that you gain an realistic cost to avoid getting ripped off by other contractors. Hopefully, I wont have any more costly landscaping jobs in near future, but if needed, I will call him again.

We had JCL do a partial demo on our 18 by 30 pool. Very fast and efficient. Nice folks to work with throughout the process. We had 2 other bids and they beat them both. The great thing about JCL is their total service - they do demoing, fencing, irrigation, sod, retaining walls. One stop shopping!

In my opinion, JCL Landscape is terrible. The owner, Brandon, talks a good game, however, was unable to secure the necessary designs, permits or provide quality work to build a retaining wall. He failed to do what he said he would do, and then he tried to keep thousands of dollars of our deposit money for work he never performed. There were problems trying to get the design completed, then his designer quit on the job. It was an amazingly bad experience. There was trash left at the work site, poor workmanship and considerable heartache along the way. I had to get a Lawyer involved to get part of deposit money back. I have worked with dozens of contractors over the past ten year, and JCL Landscape is the absolute worst in my opinion Avoid these guys; there are far better options available.
