In 40+years of home ownership Ruben and his team have proved to be the most dependable service I have ever worked with. They not only do a thorough and reliable job on normal maintenance but have done many additional lawn/landscaping projects to my complete satisfaction. Most recently they managed a large tree removal post Milton that threatened the house. I m glad Ruben asked for a recommendation because I can t speak highly enough about him.

Rubens team did a great job taking down two trees damaged in the hurricanes. They had attention to detail and cleaned up when they left. They did this for a fair price when there was plenty of price gouging going on.

Arrived at the scheduled time. All the right equipment for the job. VERY safety concious for people and property. Courteous, pleasant, and focused. Cleanup was complete and impeccable. Will recommend to anyone who may need this type service.

Progressive has been taking care of our lawn and hedges for years and I have always found them to be professional and prompt. They also take care of the annual pruning of our trees, and recently we asked them to remove two of our oaks. They had all the equipment that was needed, and the work was done well with minimal disruption.

Wow! Rubin and his Progressive Team knocked it out of the park. 4 BIG pine trees down the first, long, day. They actually worked until dark 30 and returned on SUNDAY to finish the job. Everyone knows their job and is CONSTANTLY WORKING. It was kind of like watching a very noisy ballet! Excellent equipment and attention to detail. I m still adjusting to the open look of my yard but the trees that Hurricane Milton left hanging over me and my neighbour s house had to go! Using the awesome equipment, they were able to trim the oak tree over my pool cage without any screen damage. Simply Amazing!

Ruben and his team did a great job installing river rock and mulch in my back. They were on time, had great ideas and cleaned up very thoroughly when they were done - couldnt be happier!

I highly recommend Progressive for any landscape jobs you have. Don t hesitate ! Ruben and his crew did a great job on my property. They have a ton of experience and finished in two days. All the ground wires and lights were carefully removed and marked before hand so they can place them back in the right spot. They graded and leveled my yard, added dirt to fill, and grinded a big tree stump and the roots that were huge and formed a mound. They pitched the ground away from the house towards the fence for rain runoff, installed the best St Augustine grass/sod and added white limestone rocks on the side where the AC unit sits. Everything looks great !! Ruben is honest and super professional and knows his stuff. They don t cut corners and actually did a few extra things that came up without hesitation. I got lucky to find Progressive and I d hire them again and highly recommend !

Progressive did a fantastic job on our backyard landscaping!! Everyone else was telling us like 3-5 days to finish the job. Ruben showed up with like 10 guys and they were finished before 3pm. We were amazed! Quality of work was 100%, all the crew were friendly and professional, and the price was the best we got of 5 estimates. Ruben was amazing throughout the whole process. We needed to have our entire large backyard clear-cut because the previous owners let it get totally overrun with aggressive and invasive plants. Highlights: 1) He was quick to come out and give us a quote, and once we were ready to move forward with the project he got us on the schedule within the week. 2) His team worked diligently both days they were here. They even worked with us to increase the scope of what they were going to clear out when an old fence started to collapse after the overgrown vines were removed. 3) The job was well done, and I am 100% satisfied with the results. 4) Their prices were also the best we found after receiving multiple quotes for the clear out.

We have used Progressive Lawn and landscaping for 4 years, for all of our yard maintenance and other landscaping needs. A year ago we decided to sod our yard with St. Augustine Pro Vista. We discussed this project with Ruben, one of the owners, about doing this. He explained the process to us, answered all of our questions , and gave us a quote. We recently completed the project. It was completed in a timely and professional manner. no problems or issues. We highly recommend Progressive for any and all landscaping needs.

We hired them to add soil and lay sod, plus put in an island and a palm. They did an amazing, efficient job, so we hired them to do even more work. Right from the first phone call, they have shown professionalism. Always arrived when they said they would. I can t say enough good things about Ruben and his crew. They had about 6-8 guys out here that were so willing to work with me. Hurricane help! I called Progressive Lawn & Landscaping to see if they would travel to Sarasota to help with hurricane damage to downed trees and damaged plants. Rubin and his crews where here in no time. Myself and over 25 other neighbors needed him and he has been a godsend to my community. Rubin is very personable, professional and eager to work. He is fairly priced considering gouging usually happens when people are desperate. Im very happy to have my beautiful trees up-righted after blowdown and plants put back into the soil. We had these guys come out a month ago to prep our yard for listing for sale. To say it was a mess before they came is an understatement. They gave me a simple and very reasonable quote, and were very easy to schedule. They were on time and professional when they came out, and did an excellent job. If I could give six stars I would. We hired Ruben and his crew to regrade and sod one-half of our lawn. We have long had drainage issues with the yard as well as also recently had our pool resurfaced, so the grass that we were looking to replace had been torn up pretty badly by the pool crews. Ruben was very responsive with coming out for an estimate, and was very knowledgeable of what we were asking for and how to get it done. His estimate was also very competitive. When we hired Reuben, he quoted a week out for the work being done, and was true to his word. Work started that next weekend, and Reuben came out with a crew of six and did an EXCELLENT job of not only grading and moving earth with the appropriate equipment, but making suggestions along the way that made sense and that we incorporated for a great looking, well draining yard. We also ended up adding rocks around our new pool equipment that Reuben was able to get quickly from his supplier and install, and they look great. What I loved about hiring Progressive was the responsiveness and communication from Reuben, the fact that he and his team showed up with the right equipment for the job, how efficiently the work was executed, the clean up after the install and the overall professionalism. I will DEFINITELY be working with Progressive for any future landscaping projects that come up, Reuben and his team have been some of the best contractors I have worked with in years.

We ve used Progressive Lawn & Landscaping for over 2 years for our lawn maintenance. They are very consistent (alway come same day each week) and they do a great job with keeping our lawn looking nice. They recently removed a very large oak tree and did an amazing job. Ruben and his team are the best! We just had a pool installed and needed some desperate TLC to the lawn and wanted to give the surrounding pool area a tropical feel. Additionally, I was looking for a new company to maintain my lawn on an ongoing basis. I was hoping to find a company who could do both ideally. Luckily, I came across Progressive Lawn & Landscaping and met Ruben! I saw Rubens big Progressive logo on a trailer while in the midst of getting quotes for the job and decided to look him up. He had excellent reviews so I gave him a shout. He got back to me quickly and showed up at the house shortly after to discuss plans. I hadnt entirely made up my mind on what I wanted and after he left I changed my ideas at least 2 times. Ruben was so easy to communicate with and super professional. He even came back to the house to measure again after I changed some things (Other companies I received quotes from didnt even measure which made me question how accurate they would be on the job!). Ruben measured twice. Measure twice, cut once! I ended up hiring Ruben to do the landscaping job and full ongoing lawn service. The job was done two weeks later. He showed up with his army of hardworking guys, worked until he was out of sunlight and came back the next day to finish the job. His team got an 8-10 foot Sylvester palm OVER a fence and planted, multiple other trees planted, mulch installed, brick edging added, river rock installed, travertine decks outside my pool cage doors, and sod installed in a day and a half and it looks fantastic. Some things to call out that stood out to me: He made sure to check all my irrigation zones to make sure any damage to sprinkler heads were repaired, they cleaned off sidewalks and the street when they were done, he made adjustments on the fly when certain pieces of the plan had to slightly shift all the while communicating closely with me. Also, he waited until the job was complete and i was satisfied before requesting payment. He didnt even need to request it, I was happy to pay him what we agreed. They did a wonderful job. Our front lawn was absolutely pitiful. My husband called progressive lawn and landscaping, they were quick to take a look at our property and give us an estimate. We spoke with Ruben, who was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. They were quick and efficient. Communication was great. They included us in plans and wanted our input on what we liked and didn t. They trimmed and cleaned up all the trees we had and did an excellent job at prepping our lawn before doing the landscaping. Very reasonable pricing with excellent work. I cant say enough positive things about Ruben and his two workers. They did a fantastic job designing and installing a new landscape in our front yard. We recently moved to a new home and the front yard was in desperate need of a refresh. It looks better than I could have hoped and I will definitely be a returning customer for my future landscaping needs. One other thing that really stood out is how much Ruben cared and went out of his way to ensure the new landscape would be set up for success. Once finished, he and the other workers stayed over 30 minutes helping to test, replace and aim my irrigation sprinklers so they would hit all newly planted shrubs. He had another job waiting but the fact he treated this like his own home told me all I needed to know. The word genuine is how I would describe Ruben and his team. They busted their tails for hours and were just as nice and welcoming at the end as they were from the moment I spoke to them weeks prior. Thanks again Ruben and team.

These guys are excellent !! I hired another company who required renting a vehicle to dig holes for planting trees, they took all week and were very expensive. These guys did the same thing on other areas and did it by hand! They did it all in 1 day and more affordable!! Rueben and his crew are amazing. Hard workers and very professional. 5 stars!!
