Nathaniel at Blue Sky has been a tremendous help! Our snow removal contractor was a no-show during the early January 2025 snow storms and the team quickly got a crew to our buildings to clear out the snow. The team is highly communicative, personable, and professional! Being property managers, our tenant/customers' safety is paramount. I have been a loyal Blue Sky customer for mowing and fertilizing, as well as other service for years! At least 10-15. And I have loved them! And I have recommended them to the entire neighborhood. They are that good! And this year, they added Christmas light installation to their service package. So, sure enough I had them come out and my wife and I couldn’t be happier! As usual, the service was exemplary! The gentlemen (led by Billy) were kind, patient and extremely helpful! Billy was top notch and he is also a grass guru, so that is super cool! He is new to BSL, but an awesome addition in my opinion, And ordering and selecting was a breeze too! Carol was patient and helpful and they had tons of options. They also take down, store and bring back next year at a cheaper price than the initial year! It’s a no brainier. I have spent countless hours and money testing old lights, replacing bulbs and fuses and then buying more and never finding the right match. Not to mention putting up and taking down in awful weather. No more do we have to do this! The overall experience has been wonderful and this company is the gold standard for quality of service and most importantly customer service! Everyone of their employees throughout the years has been wonderful!

Daniel Stotler is currently our Blue Sky project manager for a significant hardscape/landscape job. This is his 3rd project for us. The first two projects came out wonderfully thanks to his expertise and oversight. He listens and communicates well and has great ideas and solutions. Once completed, I know our current project will be fantastic thanks to Daniel's efforts.

Blue Sky has been cutting my lawn for a few years and theyve always done a great job. It always looks great and very in line with my budget!
My sprinkler system was broken when I bought the house, so I called these guys. Tech showed up, and fixed it right up for me! Also he saved me a bunch of money by pointing out that replacing the backflow valve (which was leaking) was pretty easy, and I could just do it myself if I was feeling handy, which I did. Thanks guys!

Among the numerous lawn care services in the Northern Virginia area we werent sure which one to pick. We were referred to Blue Sky by a friend. We are so glad our first lawncare contract at our new construction home has turned out positive. Our first year Blue Sky provided recommendations on how to get our grass on the right track. Tim, their grass expert, came by regularly to check on our lawn, even when we didnt have service scheduled. He would spot treat the trouble areas for the weeds. His expertise on grass and chemicals used made us feel comfortable about the level of service we were getting. If we had any issues someone was always here to check on the issue. The front desk staff has great customer service which is an added bonus for a landscaping company. Blue Sky feels like a family-friendly small business even though they are much bigger. Previously, we were paying for service a la carte from different vendors. Blue Sky made us realize having a contract in place for multiple services with them was highly beneficial. We feel like they are always looking after our lawn and truly care about the service. We highly recommend Blue Sky for your lawn needs!

Pleasant experience, knowledgeable technicians, professionally done, very fair pricing. Had sprinkler line repair/head relocation work done and also had a couple of catch basins and downhill drain/pop up installed for water collecting on our front walkway when it rained. A couple recent T storms proved a good challenge and the drain worked as designed. Thanks to Jeff and Daniel and crew along with Iliana at the office for making things clear and easy.
Blue Sky is very attentive and very good at growing grass and listening to the clients needs. I explained my bad experience with another company and they have been the opposite. Within a very short window of time our grass has gone from yellow and some weeds to greener and looking healthier already. More to come but a huge start. I saw Tim out looking at our lawn the other day because he wanted to make sure everything looked good. Very impressed with Tim and the company and have already recommended to our neighbors.

Have used Blue Sky for several years. They are top-notch in every regard. Just wanted to throw out a major kudo for work done last week. I called in an ad hoc leave removal service, which happened to coincide with an already planned mulch service. The crew that came were, as always, fantastic. The place looks immaculate. We could not be more pleased.
