Pride did a great job with an area of landscaping that was a mess. They removed, planted bushes and plants, cleaned up area in a short period of time. Will continue to use again!!

I took over a family home after my parents passed away and have no time or knowledge to deal with yard stuff yet. It had been a few years since the yard had gotten taken care of beyond simple mowing, so it needed some heavy duty weeding and remulching in the flower beds. After the company my parents used to use told me they were not accepting any new clients this season, I contacted Pride. They were professional and prompt. They met me at my home to look around, gave me a fair estimate, and over the next few weeks got the job done! Got rid of lots of weeds in a careful, knowledgable manner, trimmed rose bushes and other overgrown plants, and remulched. The price was beyond fair. My yard looks fantastic now! I highly recommend this company and will use them again.

Corey was the first to respond to several queries we put out asking for hardscaping quote. He provided an estimate right away, stayed in touch about the timetable, and was able to schedule the work within a couple weeks of his quote. (We are still waiting to hear from the other contractors.) His crew was friendly and respectful and they did a great job putting a brick circle into an existing patio where we had torn out an old water feature. We would definitely call them again for hardscaping or landscaping.

We hired Pride landscaping to help us get our large yard under control after a busy summer, in preparation for an event we were hosting at our home. They worked with our short turnaround time did a great job cleaning out flowerbeds, edging and wrangling bushes. Would be 5 stars but a new hire accidentally cut our internet cable and didn t mention it, we had to find it. Accidents happen, we will still use their service in the future! Submitted a request for an estimate online and after waiting a week I never received a response. Trying to give a busy businesses the benefit of the doubt I called. Spoke to a lady who took all the info I submitted online and told me 1 of 2 people would give me a call back but here we are more then 2 weeks later and I still haven t heard from anyone.

We had Pride Outdoor Services plant plants, install stepping stones, put in a dry river creek, and put in mulch afterward. Jeff coordinated the two projects and was excellent in returning calls and meeting with us in a timely manner. All the workers were excellent. Alex and Raymundo were friendly, polite, and hard workers. After each job, they asked if we were satisfied with what they had done. They were willing to make any corrections that I wanted. Great job! Great crew and great to work with. We saw a Pride truck in our neighborhood in 2019 and called. They came out immediately, presented a bid in 48 hrs, complete the job within 2 wks. The work was exactly as requested and the cost was exactly as bid to the dollar. Jeff called to follow-up on our job in March. We requested some additional installations with plants and mulch. The bid was accepted 4/1/20 and the work was completed by noon 4/14/20. I explained to the crew what I wanted and exactly what I did not need and they completed the job perfectly. They raked up when finished and swept all debris and even cleared the mulch residue off our driveway. The job included an additional underground downspout drain with pop-up and they placed this exactly where I requested. I have worked with many contractors in home improvement and often found that if I know what I want and communicate that to the installer - then they usually get it right. The Pride crew chief, Jon understood what I wanted and he got the job down right. I would recommend the Pride team to anyone who needs outdoor yard work or hardscape installations. I recently started working with Pride Outdoor for my landscaping, and Im very impressed! They did an excellent spring clean up, installed mulch, and created a rock spillway for a down spout. Theyre also doing monthly maintenance. Not only does everything look great, but the crew is friendly, professional, and works fast! Jeff is very responsive and helpful with suggestions and planning. I also appreciate their easy online system for approving estimates, billing, and payment. Ive noticed a big difference in the mulch - the Pride guys installed a thick layer that has real staying power - a couple big storms havent washed it away or budged it at all and it looks terrific. Highly Recommended! I was on the border on whether to do my own landscaping or hire someone, but these guys made the decision easy. They came out for a free estimate, drew up a beautiful design, were easy to work with to make some minor changes to it, and did a great job! They were always quick to communicate and made sure I was happy with the final product.

The team at Pride Outdoor made a big difference in the look of our yard! They were good collaborators in developing a lovely design for a front garden bed, and the team was hard-working to do a great job. When working with them, it is good to ask a lot of questions and be sure that you have the plants and trees that you want. I recommend conducting your own research on each plant and its watering needs, and develop a solution that works well. If you conduct research on each plant that they recommend, they will be responsive to your questions and concerns. I conducted research on the use of soaker hoses to go underneath the river rock installation, for example. But this was not something that was originally discussed or anticipated. Since it has only been 2 days since the work was done, it is difficult to say how the design and planting will hold up. And a 6-month warranty is not a lot with a July planting date. Will the plants hold up until next summers perennial blooming? That is the question, and I am hopeful. The work team were very communicative, diligent, and will meet the expectations you set. Pride Outdoor takes pride in their work, and will do everything they can for your satisfaction.

Pride did a great job for us in weeding our flower beds, which were extremely overgrown. They laid down mulch on large areas of landscaping, removed dead trees/ stumps and added brick borders embedded in concrete around several of our features. We were very happy with their work and will definitely work with them again. Excellent job!

I hired Pride to help clear out my extremely overgrown backyard. They sent over two very professional workers who had the job done in under four hours, a task that would have taken me weeks on my own. On top of what I asked them to do, they also took care of a stump on my driveway that has been annoying us since we moved in. I would absolutely recommend them to anybody looking to get yard work done at their house.

These guys work really hard and do a great job. I am always satisfied with whats accomplished in the time they are at our home. I have them come back about every 3-4 weeks. Highly recommend!

Excellent job by Pride!! Corey was able to view the job and provide an estimate via email the same day I called. Overall, I asked for trimming of 2 trees in the front, and 3-4 trees in my back yard. The estimate was extremely reasonable. In fact, the final invoice was nearly $200 less than the original quote. The crew was very professional, friendly, listened to what I wanted done and truly delivered. Finally, they did a great job cleaning up when they were done. I will not hesitate to recommend Pride Outdoor Services for tree trimming or any other services offered. There s really no need to waste time getting other quotes and dealing with frustrating no shows. You will not be disappointed.

We always did our own mulching but decided to take it easy this year. We hired Pride to do it and were glad we did. Their work is so much more beautiful and professional looking.

I ve been using Pride Outdoor Service for 3+ years and have been very happy with their service. I own a property in Champaign but don t live in town, and I first contacted Pride rather urgently when the yard became overgrown and I got a citation from the city. They came very quickly to resolve the issue so that I wasn t fined. Since then, Pride has completely redone the yard, making it look great within my budget. And they perform routine lawn care and snow removal without me having to worry about it - which is exactly what I want!

The Pride team made quick work of my weed infested yard. I was so impressed with their professionalism and work ethic that I have them on repeat now for all my lawn care needs.

Lucky I found this business while they were working on a neighbors yard down the street. Jeff came right down to my house in regards to me asking if he knew anyone that does patios. He gave me ideas as to what I needed done. Was very responsive in showing me samples of the patio pavers and was right on the money on the time frame he said they could do the job. The quote he provided was really competitive. The workers he sent out were very professional and friendly and they definitely took pride in their work. I would highly recommend them, in fact i will have have another addition to the patio and some burying of some rain downspouts come next spring.

We highly recommend Pride Landscaping services. They put in a new patio for us in our backyard. It was a tricky spot because of a Redbud tree which we wanted to save. Jeff spent a lot of time with us to make sure that our patio design would help minimize root damage. I had Pride re-do my backyard. I installed a DIY regulation sized tennis court 20 years ago using 18 x18 pavers. It served my family well as one of my sons received a college scholarship because of the long hours spent in the backyard practicing. Now after so many years it was no longer serviceable as a tennis court and needed to be replaced. I m ready to downsize and wanted to make my backyard into a lawned haven for a family with small children. I interviewed several landscaping services to do the job. Jeff with Pride was very enthusiastic about fulfilling my vision of the perfect kid yard. He shared his own design ideas which were very helpful and pointed out work needed to be done to improve the water drainage away from my house. He also made sure that he understood my budget and made recommendations that met my design requirements while staying within my budget. On the first day of the project supervisor Alex of Pride and his crew arrived and started the work of removing the tons of tennis court material (pavers and artificial turf) from the yard. I cried when the space (and my memories) were cleared away. In part they were tears of happiness because even though my yard at that point was only a muddy patch I could now better imagine the new yard I had envisioned. Alex is an excellent representative of Pride. His sunny, friendly disposition made him a delight to work with. He communicated with me often, updating me on the work in progress, the work yet to be done and the timing of the job. Part of the job was done on an hourly basis and Alex and his guys worked diligently to stay within the ball park cost estimate that Jeff had provided for the hourly work performed. They were also under somewhat of a time crunch as I had planned to have my 5 adult children visit to celebrate the coming of my first grandbaby and I wanted the job completed before their visit. The job is done now. The yard is spectacular, just as I imagined it and it made the visit with my children so much better. I could not be happier with how the work was done, the clean-up that Alex and his team did afterwards, the quality of their work, the short time it took to re-do the yard and the value I have received from working with Pride. I would recommend them to anyone.

We had a completely overgrown area in our backyard that needed to be made useable. Alex and his crew came in, pulled all the crazy weeds and plants, graded the area, and put down weed paper and new gravel in record time! Theres no way my husband and I would have done this project on our own without it taking weeks and I can promise you it wouldnt have looked at nice (and lets not mention we got to avoid all the fights that go along with trying to do manual labor projects together, lol). The very next day we were able to set up the fire pit and enjoy our new space. Well worth the money!

Vanessa , the business manager, is professional, super friendly, responsive and flexible. Even when I flip-flopped in my requests, she remained friendly, courteous and helpful throughout. Most recently Pride did leaf-removal around my house and when they were done it looked absolutely splendid, despite bushes and trees all around. Very satisfied.

I had drainage issues around my house. The small sidewalk that ran in front of my house leading to the driveway had to be torn up and replaced with a higher ground level underneath. I decided to not only replace the sidewalk, but add extra concrete to create a patio. Jeff helped me design it and it came out better than I had originally planned. Richard and Romando did the work, keeping me apprised as to what the nexf steps were. Richard created the design of the brickwork, and its perfect! I was impressed with the quality of their work and would highly recommend Pride to anyone who wants a job well done at a good price.

We highly recommend using Pride Outdoor Services!! We contacted Pride in July or August and had them come up with a landscape design. They came up with two, a small version and a large version. We chose the small version. We opted to remove the current landscape edging, bushes and plants to save us some money. They were completely fine with us doing that. They showed up when they said they would to start the work. They leveled the beds, pruned the boxwoods and burning bushes that we kept, installed our new landscape edging with a mortar base to prevent heaving. They have had to work around the exterior home renovations weve been making and have do so without a problem. They just planted our tulip bulbs and still need to bury our downspouts once we get our new gutters on. In the spring they will come back out to finish planting all of our new plants. The work theyve already done looks SO good and weve gotten so many compliments! I cant wait to see how it looks when its completely finished in the spring!! We plan on using them when we re-do our backyard.

I was reluctant to have someone come out with the local rise in coronavirus cases. Each employee was wearing a mask and maintained appropriate distance while also being incredibly courteous and pleasant. They did a great job cleaning up. I will definitely use them again.

I needed a yard and gravel driveway re-done from close to 50 years neglect. John at Pride Outdoor Services came out and got a good head start on it for spring. They got back to me right away, got the driveway done and yard graded, dug up and smoothed out very well. Kept me well posted on what was going on. I would recommend their company.

Hired them last year to seed my backyard and reseed my front yard to make it fuller. They drove over my brick sidewalk and left two tire depressions in the brick. After a full summer of watering the grass did not take in the backyard and the front was full of weeds. When I left a bad review they contacted me asking me to take the review down and that they would do anything to rectify my concerns. They came back in the fall to reseeded and promised me two rounds of fertilization and spraying. This year the yard looks worse than ever and we never heard back from them.

We contacted Damien with Pride Outdoor. He came out on May 17. We had bid the next day. Bid was very fair and as expected. They removed old trees and overgrown shrubs and re-seeded with grass. I watered faithfully as instructed and grass looks great. They completed an install of brick edging, 14 bushes, and mulch as promised on June 26. Richard and his crew were great to work with. They are very skilled, work non-stop until project is complete and cleaned up everything before they left. The whole experience was first class. We would recommend them to any and all. I have no idea if he ever came to look at my yard and when I still hadn t received an estimate 2 weeks after our initial contact, I emailed him again and never got a reply. Very disappointing and I certainly cannot recommend a company who seems to have a disregard for quality customer service. Update 5/15/18 Owner reached out to me personally (you ll notice that it was on the same day I posted this review) and explained that there have been some system integration issues that may have caused nonreceipt of his email response to my initial inquiry. He gave me a very detailed assessment of my lawn needs, a plan for how to achieve optimal results, and incredibly honest advice regarding cost. Most business owners do not handle customer issues with such a personal touch, and for this reason I am updating my review to 5 stars.

These guys did an excellent job on our landscaping! Very reasonably priced too! We will definitely be using them in the near future.

This company is amazing and NO...I am not an employee or hired to give this rating. I had several trees that needed to be removed-one surrounded by power lines. This company worked like artists with their precision and skill in removing these giant trees. Beyond there skill and professionalism they also gave us a great price. Less than half the cost of all other professional bids. I definitely recommend Pride and will personally keep them as my only tree/lawn service providers.

I hired Pride because of their good reviews. Now, I think its possible that they had friends write those reviews for them or they outright paid for them. My project was several thousand dollars and once started, I had to call constantly to find out when they were coming. They did a part of the project, but then left the major portion (prepping and seeding 1.5 acres) undone. I texted the project manager multiple times and emailed the owner, Corey. I told them each time that I needed to know if they were going to get my project done. I asked for basic information like next steps and an approximate timeline. No answers, no communication on job progress, nothing. I met the project manager and he seemed like a very professional person. However, after my initial introduction to him at my property, he forgot all about me. These guys cost me 6 weeks - I couldve had someone else who actually wanted my business working on my property. They seem like nice folks, but totally unprofessional. REPLY TO OWNER/GM: Yes, this is Mark Brackenhoff and yes, your project manager did speak directly with me. As a matter of fact, we spoke face-to-face while he was on my property. The Irish gentleman, very nice fella; however, he didnt call me one single time until I left him a text message and asked him if I should be looking for a different landscaper if you guys didnt have the time to make a 30 second phone call with an update or projected timeline for my project. I specifically asked for this to happen periodically because Im away about 6 months/year on military duty and its nearly impossible for me to track the projects happening on my new property without good communication from the project managers. My homebuilder, outbuilding contractor, gym contractor, etc. all maintained close/weekly communication with me. My outbuilding contractor was very busy and in his prime season - he still managed weekly contact with me. It took him all of 30 seconds to call and update me. You guys never one reached out to me until I sent the text message mentioned above. Then, your project manager basically gave me a non-answer. As far as what type of person leaves only negative reviews? Ive left a grand total of two Google reviews (I mostly use Yelp), not a sufficient number to establish a trend line, so your comment is silly. Negative reviews are a public service and intended as warnings to other potential customers who might save themselves trouble. If your business is as good as you claim, then you will grow and my one negative review will be forgotten. However, my review stands as it is and its entirely true. It seems to have touched a nerve. If you are the owner, I reached out to you via email and asked you to call me - you never did. But since youve chosen to get into the type of person I am, even though you dont know me, Ill tell you the type of person who takes personal shots at a dissatisfied former client: a keyboard warrior - usually a weakling. My first and last name is on this review and you know my address. Your response is from behind the name of your business and I know nothing about you. That says something about the type of person you are. As far as not charging me, thats outright false. I paid you guys $1,395. Ill attach the credit card charge below. The 2nd time you mowed, no weed killer was applied because large, two foot weeds remained and continued to grow. I killed them myself with Roundup. When I severed my business relationship with you, I asked your project manager twice for a final bill for the mowing. He insisted that he would not send me a bill. If this is a sore spot for you, send me the bill now; Ill pay it and post the canceled check or cc charge here. Bottom line: I asked for basic communication, something any business can easily do and something bigger businesses than yours do with me all the time. My review is warranted, its legitimate, and its stands as-is.

Emails have gone unanswered this year as I have tried to get a current quote and rebook them for gutter cleaning. I find it so incredibly rude that I cant recommend them. I will say, however, that they did a good job with the cleaning last year and were kind enough to work me into the very last day of cleaning. But the lack of response is difficult to overlook!

They did a great job on my lawn, were professional and got it done quickly. The GM was especially helpful and responsive, and had great advice. Made sure it was done to my standards and offered to redo seeding if first job didnt take. Have had other companies try to fix my lawn before, but was only happy with this one. Ive scheduled already for next years season.

My husband and I had been searching for a landscaper to aerate our yard when we found Corey, owner of Pride Lawn Care and Outdoor Services. Corey responded quickly to our call, drove to our house to assess our needs and gave a reasonable estimate of the cost to treat our yard. He and his crew were awesome! They worked hard all day, cleaned up and made our yard presentable again! We plan to use Pride again, again, and again!

Corey responded professionally and promptly and the work was done with quality and the yard was left clean. I will use this company again.

We had our gutters cleaned by a different company 2 weeks before and they charged us more than twice as much. Pride had a faster response time and did a much more thorough job. I would not hesitate to recommend them and will be using them again myself as soon as my gutters need it.
