Omg Jake and team are the GREATEST!!! Very reasonable prices, and they take such good care of me and my lawn services. They do extremely great work. I remember when they came to mow my lawn while my dad was trying to change my car battery and didn’t have a certain tool, so one of the gentlemen went to his truck and helped change my battery. You just don’t meet people like that often. They’re more like family than anything. If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would!!!!

I called this company and within a few days they came out today edge my yard. The yard needed edged badly. They quoted $30 to $50. That is fair. No contract, no further obligations. I was not disappointed. Thanks again. I will definitely utilize your services in the future.
I highly recommend a different lawn care service. This company will charge you triple the price ($150) on the first cut. The 2 guys that was here didn't even complete the roughly 40 minutes job properly (missing spots that's not weeded or edged) as well as left branches in the yard. Since the job was not completed they lower the price to $100. They charge $50 weekly, but most companies will charge $50 biweekly. They said it's $50 if it's not over-grown for the first cut when we asked for a biweekly schedule. Overgrown to them is anything 6 inches or taller. Beware that they won't give you the total amount before they do the service for the first cut. Edit after the owner commented: I know they was only here for 40 minutes because I have cameras outside plus we was home the whole time the 2 men was here. The 2 men was not here working for an hour and half. We watched them sitting in their truck for an hour across the street before they even started mowing. There was only 2 workers here. One man weeded the yard and the other man mowed using a sitting lawn mower then that same man went and got a stand-behind lawn mower and cut the rest. He was thinking around $70 for the price, not three times the price. The company said that they will properly do the job right the next cut, but with the overcharge for an incomplete job I refuse to use this company again.
I have used A&J for many years for lawn maintenance at my home: they do great work, are trustworthy, and are very reliable! I highly recommend them!

This is a fairly new service, less than 6 months mowing my lawn. Destroyed nearly every yard toy my dog had. Ran over metal yard decor. Chopped my yard, and left many places unmowed. I ended my service through text. Let them know I was moving and that I would text for a last mow. She claims that it was a miscommunication. Clearly, they are unprofessional. All they had to do was clarify the instructions, maintain their equipment and request I move the dog toys.
Excellent company. Outstanding customer service. There have been numerous occasions they even pulled our trash can back up on trash days (not their job at all). It s the little things that don t go unnoticed.

This is my first experience with seeking lawn services. They are amazing. The lady Ms. Linda was so kind and made the process smooth. The lawn was cut so neat and added to my homes curb appeal. I would rate them a 10 but there is only 5 stars.

Worst company around! They do a terrible job and expect you to tip. They would fill our pool with grass, which I understand you get some, but they didnt try to keep it out. Messing pool equipment up. They would forget to mow part of your yard and would only weed parts that were easy. We complained and they jack our price up $100. We werent going to use them anymore. They dont come and expect your yard and stop whenever they want. $165 a week is outrageous. Please find someone else.

Unreliable service. They don t show up when scheduled because they forgot to write it down. Had several items in my flower bed destroyed by the weed eater as well as had to have AC pipe recovered due to weed eater chewing it up. Trash can moved and left in the front yard. Spots in the yard completely missed especially in the corners of the yard. They were the cheapest of all the quotes and I see why now. You get what you pay for.

The owner of A&J Advanced Lawn Care and his team are very easy to get ahold of. Very affordable and they handle your yard with care. I can pretty much guarantee when they will be here on the days I get my yard cut and they get the job done quickly. If you have any issues they make sure they are addressed as well.

Someone on the lawn crew accidentally busted my passenger window while working on a neighboring yard, and Jake, the owner went above and beyond to not only cover the cost of replacing the window, but recommending a fantastic glass shop who could do the repair for me that was so easy to work with. They do a great job on lawns, but being willing to fix this issue without a fight has made us customers for life.

When they left me high and dry I saw one of Jakes signs and his truck in my neighborhood so I gave him a call. Boy am I glad I did, he gave me a quote and put me in his rotation immediately. Jake and his crew are extremely courteous and detailed oriented. They have been taking care of my yard for well over a year and I have not had one single issue. This is the third company I ve used here in Shreveport and I don t believe you can get better quality for the price and I know you won t find a more professional crew elsewhere.
I mow my own grass and keep up with my own landscaping.... usually. However I messed around and let it get a little out of hand. So I called A & J (and a few other places) and their quote was competitive, they got back to me quickly (unlike a couple of places) and provided references. Boy am I glad I did! On top of the very competitive pricing and fast professional responsiveness, they did AMAZING work! My landscaping looks better than ever before! If you need full time regular service or if your a do-it-your-self-er who just doesn t have time this time, I highly recommend calling A & J !
