Very professional and knowledgeable - they make it very easy to trust them with their recommendations and vision. They are experts in so many areas of landscaping and worth every penny. I cannot more highly recommend Bednar landscaping. Its not easy to design a property with all native and deer resistant plants, but Keith nailed it. His crew worked long hours and completed the job much faster than expected. This is despite a major storm toward the end of the job. Within 24 hours the crew heavily modified the pre-existing drainage to accommodate more water, cleaned out the pipes and repaired the area that got washed out. None of that was within the original scope of work but Keith made it happen Pics coming soon!

Bednar not only does my regular lawn cuts and takes care of our shrubs, but also does my one off projects. Their prices are competitive, but its their A+ work and very good customer service from their owners that puts them over the top.

Like a few others I tried to hire this company last year and they never showed. I tried again and they did it again. I read a few reviews from others and their response was unacceptable. When you make an appointment and can t make it a phone call is common courtesy. I am looking to hire someone and this was the job interview which you failed. If you are too busy to come out then you don t set the appointment, be professional!!! Update, there was no miscommunication, you didn t show. I then left this review 4 days later and that s when you called twice. Like I said if you are too busy you don t set an appointment, tell the customer you cannot take on new clients instead of making an appointment and not showing up. You did this to me twice and a few others on here. Would you hire a contractor that did this? I called another company, they showed and I hired them, pretty simple. The excuse we are busy, then don t set an appointment!

Had an awesome experience with Bednar. Pete was very responsive regarding scheduling, quotations and logistics. Chris came to the house and gave some great guidance on how to approach our front yard while leading the team who completed the job. The work performed (plant removal, new plant/tree installs, mulching, cleanup) was outstanding and we are very happy with the end result. Will definitely continue to utilize their services for future projects.

Bednar Landscaping is the probably the best contractor we ever hired. Their honestly, integrity and completing everything they said they would and more. We had a standing water problem and had water entering the basement. Keith engineered a way to keep the water away from the house. They also sealed the foundation. A crew of six men did all this in two weeks. No more water in the basement and a beautiful yard which was completely resodded. We highly recommend Bednar Landscaping. I have had several landscaping/lawn maintenance companies over the years. I am very particular about my yard. Bednar has proved to be the best I have found. They do a very nice job in the yard but most importantly, when there is a problem, no matter how small, they are quick to respond and fix the problem. I have also compared their prices and they are competitive with other full-service landscaping companies. I highly recommend them.

Professional job. They provided a written estimate, started when they said they would, worked hard to finish the job in the morning, and left the place super clean. The result was 28 new shrubs/trees, arranged beautifully, for the quoted price.

Two times they told me they d be out to my property to give a quote and didn t show up. Two times. This is the owner of the company I spoke with! After the first incident I called to see what happened because I stayed home from work to wait for him. No answer. I called maybe 2 or 3 more times, no answer. I left numerous messages. Finally over a week later, Keith calls and says that he accidentally marked it for the wrong day on his calendar. Ok. I can give anyone the benefit of the doubt, but why wait over a week to call back to tell me that? Regardless, he tells me that he s willing to come out the very next day. I told him I can t take another day off of work to wait for him, and he says he ll be there anyway to evaluate my property even if I m not home, and then give a call to discuss it. Next day came and went- no visit, no call, nothing. I ve called him Twice to get an answer and the phone just rings and I can t get a call back. Awful way to conduct a business and if there s one thing I can t stand it s not keeping your word.

Very please with retaining wall (previously completed), new porch steps and walkway pavers. Keith Jeff and team were timely and performed exceptionally skilled masonry work. I was having widows and siding done at the same time and Keith planned the work perfectly and collaborated with the siding contractor to ensure an amazing transition! I threw in a few unplanned changes to the scope of work Keith was able to accommodate with no problems or significant additional fees. We are very happy with the skilled work and fair prices. I highly recommend Bednar Services for your hardscape paver, stone or any other masonry projects!

We used Bednar to renovate our backyard. Retaining walls, steps and plantings. Thrilled with how everything came out! The company was also great navigating all the town permit and approval processes, which went a long way in making sure we didnt run into any issues. Dont think a day has passed since the work was done that we havent spent time in the yard. 100% recommend.

Our previous contractor walked out on our job (retaining wall) and left a mess, where 2/3rds of our yard was no longer useable. They worked on our yard for over 2 months before leaving the job. Bednar redid the retaining wall, and made sure the correct procedure was done, since the previous one fell down. They reinstalled the fence, cleaned up our yard and made it look beautiful! It only took them 8 days to do it. They are highly efficient, professional and friendly. We would highly recommended them to anyone who would like to get any yard work done correctly the first time. I plan on using them for any of our future projects.

Chris showed up to take a look at the oddly shaped patches we needed to have sodded. Got an estimate later that day that was reasonable and in line with others. 5 guys showed up and got the job done quickly. Sod looked super healthy and lush. Can t wait to see it in a few weeks when it fully takes and gets mowed. Would definitely recommend! 11/4 update: sod rooted well and looks beautiful!

My neighbor had work done by Bednar. Since they needed access from my property I agreed too let them do it, provided they didnt ruin some plants. Mt husband even built a cage, so nothing would happen to the plants. We come home, the cage is tossed aside, no one spoke English, and everything we talked and agreed about was ignored. I was not happy, the boss or owner never showed or apologized. Boo, I would not have them work for me. My neighbor apologized profusely, but I felt ignored and upset, it was there companys fault.

Recently they installed a patio and landscaping in my rear yard. They do great workmanship, on time and willing to please as well as follow up beautifully. I wouldnt consider hiring another company.
