ATA Lawn & Landscape has been doing my front and back yard for quite a few years now. All I have is nothing but good things to say about them. Their crew are always very professional, they take pride in there work. They do all our lawn care services, mow, edging and triming, blowing driveway and walks (even our basket ball court in back yard). They also do all the fertilizers, lime. Just did the lawn ariation and seeding as well! I have also had them do cleanup and bush trimming and mulching of our beds. There is pretty much nothing they do not or can not do! You can also see that their equipment is well maintained even their trucks and trailers. I have never, never been disappointed. They also send out an email day or 2 before to give you a heads up when they will be coming. Plus your invoice is also emailed and all the lawn services they will be doing thru out the months from April thru November figured in the same monthly fee. All I can say is ATA LAWN & LANDSCAPE are AWESOME, dependable, polite, very professional. NEVER EVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED!! Best Regards Harriet Lewellen

This ATA Landscaping Review was inspired by Craig the Fertilizer guy, aka The One-Man Wrecking Crew specializing in large tire skid marks, brown spots, splattered foundations & fences, and a broken gas meter. The owner regards him as one of his best guys. Yikes. I really miss ATA Landscaping after using them for 2 years due to a torn meniscus. I miss them scalping my lawn so I could correct it with Green Lawnger turf paint. I miss them over-trimming the driveway from a 2-inch trench to a 6-inch trench. I miss the Hooterville Fence Installers. The billion dollar white vinyl fence was mis-measured and the added $500 piece is falling apart. The geniuses then installed the Gate over an obvious sprinkler head. Paid $95 to relocate it. I miss their fertilizer guy who rammed into the gas meter, broke it, then left. The Plan of Correction? Dont fertilize the backyard anymore for the same price. I miss him splattering fertilizer on my painted white foundation and white fence that I would have to correct with two coats of Kilz 2 White Primer. Be Forewarned: If you complain about the fertilizer guy, he will muck up your property beyond recognition twice as much the next time out. Thats when I finally canceled ATA. I miss squandering $6,400 over 2 years that fueled my complaints to a company whose motto is The Customers Always Wrong. Good riddance to the Wrecking Crew. Make your Home and Property great again America. Keep ATA and their incompetent crew of Loadies off of your property. Thanks Rothman for the knee gel injections. I do the yard myself now.

I had roughly 10-12 forsythias put in four years ago. I specifically asked for the largest they had. A group of non-English speaking workers showed up a week and a half early. He did not update us, but claimed he sent an email. I had to tell work I couldnt make it in as I wanted to be home to oversee the work I paid for. They had the tiniest bushes you could imagine. Not even a foot high. Nicholas, the young, arrogant kid they had running this group gave me ever excuse to weasel his way out of his companys shortcomings. They proceeded to plant the bushes, crookedly, and also broke a line to my sprinkler. They failed to inform me of this, and quickly left before I had a chance to see the work they completed. They came back to roughly fix the sprinkler only after I called them. Again, no English, no communication. Nicholas left after a half hour, leaving these non-English speaking guys in charge. Im leaving this review several years later because they promised me these plants would grow several inches per year; they have not. They sold us the smallest, cheapest bushes they could find, charging us the full amount, after I specifically asked for the largest they had. And let me add I have fertilized and watered these plants as instructed. Nicholas, if he still is employed there, is a very unprofessional, very arrogant, and extremely dishonest person. Too young to know how to respect others. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone looking to beautify their lawn. Thanks. -Rob K.

They have ideas and suggestions to help problem solve. They can turn their hand to many thing. They recently installed our new privacy gate and fencing too. They are prompt. Great communication also. No job is too big or too small. They come fully equipped with up to date equipment. They apt attention to the little things too that matter to me , like trimming something just how I like it. Not cookie cutter. You can totally trust them and that means so much to me. Today they carried out a spring clean up and I couldnt be happier . My garden always looks superb because they care.

ATA is a great company that is basically a one stop shop for all your landscaping needs. They are reliable, responsive, and cost effective. ATA came out yesterday to level our ground for our intex pool. It needed sand added to the area and had to be perfectly leveled for this type of pools. The guys arrived first thing in morning as promised and did a wonderful job making the area ready for us to setup our pool. I have also used ATA for grass cutting when needed and that was also great service. Good prices and professional staff that I highly recommend.

Sent 4 guys for a big job, so the job was completed in one day instead of several days. Really nice crew who worked hard all day from early morning. They did a terrific job cleaning up flower beds, laying mulch, and removed tons of brush and dead leaves from large back yard (wooded area) and more. Everything looks great. Very happy. Will definitely use them again for future projects.

Quickly returned my first phone call and did thorough inventory of my yard and the work I wanted done. Very professional in processing estimate and payment. Came the day they were scheduled and finished a big job in 1 day. Very happy with the work that was done. They even did a little extra, like blowing the pollen of off my car and driveway. ATA Landscaping does a great job on my lawn every time. They also weed and trim my bushes very professionally. I always get compliments from all the neighbors.

They cleared a jungle from the back corner of my yard. I love that it didnt take long to start the project. Only took 2 days to do, and its all seeded. Time will tell how well it comes in. Im watering it 2x a day and in 1 week Im already starting to see it starting to grow in spots.

Adding photos as proof. There should be some accountability for such dishonest businesses who rip off customers . Spend your hard earned money on a reliable company ,there are many out there . I got a quote from ATA lawn for weeding and pre - emergent placement ONLY . They scheduled the service a month out and the guys stayed for 1.5 hours-touched only the front of the house and sent a bill for our agreed price- when I complained about job not done, they apologized and se a crew that actually did remove the weed (hand pulling , + pre emergent placement - I confirmed this with cameras) NO PRUNING or TRIMMING -ABSOLUTELY NOTHING else . A few weeks later I got a bill for over $700 . This was shocking. We feel cheated and betrayed, we don t leave google reviews but I feel it s public service and right thing to do. We have been charged $1033 for WEEDING SERVICE . When I told them how wrong it is they kept giving excuses like oh you didn t get spring clean up from us , it took longer, we charge per hour things that don t make any sense. We paid them the money but we feel ripped off and wronged. It s almost $115 an hour - which is more than what average families can afford . Hopefully this will save someone else from a similar experience. See pictures for details.

I have used ATA Lawn Care Services for two years. I rely like the fact that they notify me by e mail every week when they are coming and I am on a set schedule. My lawn is cared for very well. They are reliable and professional and always have staff available to take phone calls.

Fina Update: ATA came and dug up the remaining poison ivy, and things look good now! They even took down a bunch more normal Ivy that was intruding on the exterior of our house. Thanks! Update: ATA saw my review here and immediately contacted me to reopen the job to come and remove the outstanding poison ivy. They reassured me that nothing is too small to be fixed. ATA did a great job at removing weeds around our fenceline and mowing our lawn. However, I specifically hired the team to get rid of poison ivy on our fence, tree, and lawn, and now that the weeds are all cleared there is still one rather big sprig of poison ivy on the other side of the yard from where we noted there was a need (but all other weeds were removed except that one), a small sprout of poison ivy in the middle of the yard (ok, we didnt really know that was there since it was under the overgrown grass), and the original poison ivy vine on our tree that I pointed out to the estimator, that looked dead but was not removed and is now starting to grow leaves again. The team did a relatively good job, but Im disappointed that I still need to deal with this poison ivy, especially the one that I specifically pointed out.

ATA did yard work over a year ago in my backyard they were supposed to return to finish the job, they never showed up. The topsoil that they put down turned out to be orange clay dirt, nothing ever grew. The project was never completed and I had to contact a second company to come in to fix and finish the job. I have been with ata for over 11 years and they NEVER disappoint they are the best landscaper I know or have heard of by far.. if u need a lawn or paver guy it s by far the best and most convenient they do it all

Terrible service. Ordered about 10 forsythia bushes in spring/summer 2021. The crew, with about five words of english between them, showed up a week early with no notification - I wanted to take off work to oversee the project. Anyway, they go to work with no job manager in site. Finally, Nicholas, the J.M., shows up and only oversees things for about an hour, then leaves. When the crew was finished, the row of terribly undersized bushes was planted crooked and my sprinkle line was knicked, along with a busted sprinkler head - No mention of all this, and then they were gone (subsequent repairs were made to the sprinkler). After over a year now, the forsythia bushes havent grown but a few inches. Perhaps I was sold a dwarf species?

It took about a year of service but my lawn hasn t looked better in 23 years. My lawn looks better this year than last year.

I paid tons of money for them to grow grass and spread top soil in the corner of my yard. Whats suppose to be top soil, looks like chalk dust from the grand canyon. Dont bother asking them for top soil- get it from your local box store, better quality and cheaper. I know its not error on my part, because the rest of my lawn has pretty good quality grass, so I know how to take care of new grass. Im only giving 2 stars because they did a great job on creating a new flower bed on the side of my house. If you want a flower bed or anything like that hire them but be prepared to pay a pretty penny. Look elsewhere if you want someone to help you grow new grass. I shouldve done this on my own instead of paying nearly 1000$ for someone to spread some soil and seeds. EXTREMELY disappointed. I have a big corner of my backyard with whats essentially chalk dust and extremely little grass. I watered it as I shouldve but no dice. So now I have to wait until the fall to re-do it myself. Thanks ATA.

This review has to do with the attitude of the employees. At a gas station my car almost got hit by the driver and the drive got off the car to yell at myself and the lady in the car in front of me. They were not patient and refused to move over with their truck. They used mean words and like I said were YELLING at us. We did the best we could to move out of their way, mind you we are headed in opposite directions. I would not trust these two men to work on my property, little do I know how they handle criticism. I work for a large medical company and I am sure to be respectful wherever I go, especially when I am wearing a company shirt because I am representing my company.

Highly recommend ATA. Nicholas and Danny made our ugly porch look great. They were very professional, friendly and always answered any questions I had and explained what they were doing. They were a huge help when they discovered I had water damage under the old porch and took the necessary steps to keep water away from the already water damaged wood until I could get repairs done so they could finish the job in which Danny actually was able to refer me to someone who. And when the job was finished they left our front yard the way they found it and you couldnt tell they had even been there. Would definitely use ATA again and will request these 2 gentlemen as well. Ben was also very friendly and professional when he came out to price the job and each time he came to visit the progress. Thanks again ATA, Nicholas, Danny & Ben.

Great experience from the quote to when the team left the job site. Had the fellas come rip up my backyard that was in terrible shape. They also cut and trimmed vines running along my gate. They trimmed up some trees out back as well and leveled everything. I was very impressed with the professionalism of everyone involved. From start to finish, this company was excellent to work with. Upon arriving on my property, they immediately identified my problem fenceline and came up with a solution. The crew arrived on time on the scheduled day and went to work. They handled everything professionally and efficiently in no time at all. ATA Lawn & Landscape is awesome and restored my faith in honest good contractors. They finished a yard drainage problem left behind by another contractor who jerked me around for over a year. I called for an estimate after finding them on google. They immediately came out and gave me a fair estimate, scheduled me in a timely manner and were prompt on the day of scheduling. All of their quotes and visiting times are done electronically, through email, which is so efficient. I needed a quote for more extensive work, and it was so easy to schedule online and the representative showed up promptly. I have had a very good experience with them so far!

Used their fertilizer program for the first time this year to try and bring back my yard and my connected neighbors yard. They told me when i signed up i wouldnt see much difference after the first year but it was night and day difference how my yard looks now! Last year it would of been dead by august, this year i could barely keep up with it. Even my neighbor, who did not water the lawn, still had a nice lawn all summer long. Cant wait to see how it will look after next year!

I have two broken windows and a hole in my siding, on the side of my townhouse, from ATA Landscaping. He denies he did it and is trying to blame my neighbor s landscaper. Yelled and cursed at me on the phone. Between this year and last year, I also have four holes on my siding in the back of my house which he admitted to. I was suppose to get a reduction in the price of pavers but me never made it that far. I should of fired the company, ATA Landscaping out of Berlin, after the damage to my backyard. Please don t let this happen to you. I tried to submit a homeowner s claim and the damage is right below my deductible. The insurance adjuster confirmed that my landscaper did the damage and not my neighbor s company. Since I m not going through my insurance company they won t fight for me. The owner of, ATA Landscaping, wouldn t even come out to see my damages. He didn t want to want our time. He know what a broken window looks like. PLEASE DON T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!! It s been a nightmare.

Wasnt happy. My yard was torn up by machinery. That was not explained beforehand. When I had asked about the use of machinery before work started I was told there would just be tire marks. Instead the yard was obliterated. They planted seed to replace the grass, which required us to spend an hour a day watering. The grass didnt fully come in and what did come doesnt match the rest of the yard. Now that I can cut some of that grass my mower blades are getting chewed up because they didnt rake those areas, or didnt rake them well. Before mowing I got a lot of the big stones out but there are many small ones left. I should have used another company I received a quote from who stated they wouldnt use any machinery. They were cheaper too. In addition, the owner got snippy about my disdain for the work done and my hesitancy of paying him the balance, which like a fool I ended up doing. Just an overall lack of customer service. I dont work in the business but I hear that the rule of thumb is to leave the place looking better than when you got there. This is a case where that overwhelmingly didnt happen.
