Established in 1976, Beavercreek Landscape and Nursery is a family owned and operated business servicing the Dayton region. We specialize in all outdoor needs, from landscaping and hardscapes, including paver installation and landscape lighting, to irrigation and drainage systems. We are able to fulfill all of our customers’ landscape needs with our highly talented and professional crew members. We hired Beavercreek Lawn & Landscaping to install a French drain and extend our downspouts to alleviate water coming into our basement. Mike and Dave were immediately responsive, spent time with us to address our concerns and were flexible to make adjustments based on our priorities and to fit our budget. The crew that did the work was courteous, prompt and worked a 10-hour day to ensure it was finished. We highly recommend them and will be using them for additional services in the future.
BL is the only company of four who paid attention to what I needed done, including the ever elusive written quote. Then they went above and beyond by contacting the city engineer directly which resulted in a better looking job than any other company proposed because my property has the unusual feature of a direct storm drain tie-in. The onsite crew knows their craft and worked very well as a team. They came prepared to do the job and the project lead worked hard to plan through things that might complicate the job. All of this attention to detail is making the insurance side of my project much easier. Everyone has been great to work with and I would definitely use them again. Vectren hired them during a gas pipeline repair project and they did excellent work in my neighborhood, and I now see why they won that work.
We had next to no landscaping in our backyard and wanted a "complete look". Tyler was able to put together a backyard design and work through some back and forth edits of it as well. After finalizing the design, his crew spent three straight days installing everything while catering to all of our questions. They left us with a great looking backyard and a guide on how to take care of everything. Lots of watering!!! But totally worth it.
Our new house was built with a downspout draining right into our flowerbed so it washed away the mulch every time it rained. We hired Beavercreek Landscape to run a line under the sidewalk and install a pop-up drain in the yard about 20 feet from the house. They also took care of a dying tree and some bushes, replaced them, and installed edging all the way around our flowerbed. We couldn't be happier! They came a month earlier than their original estimate, the tree is much healthier and bigger than the other one, the plants they recommended look fantastic, and the edging really sets the flowerbed off. We're thrilled with the quality of work and their customer service! Tyler ALWAYS returned my calls. It's so nice to work with a company that truly cares about their services!!!
We recently called to get an estimate for a drainage system as our two patios flood a lot when it rains. Tyler called us back pretty promptly to set up an appointment for an estimate. Tyler came out and went through a few options of what they could do, we mentioned we had a budget in mind and wanted to work with them to fix the problem while also adhering to the budget. They were great and even helped us get the City of Kettering involved as we needed sewer access closer to our house for everything to work smoothly. Definitely would recommend them and if we need more work done we will definitely give them a call. Very professional and communicative throughout the entire process. Thank you!
Had them install a drainage system for the backyard to ensure that our basement remains dry - it's been almost a year and I'm happy to report it has been BONE dry! Dave was super knowledgeable and great to communicate with - we went back and forth a couple times over email during the design phase and that was a great experience. Dave's crew is also SUPER great. One of the best work crews we've had out. They were respectful, listened when I had concerns, and worked quickly to get things the way we wanted. Importantly they cleaned up after themselves - so many crews leave some sort of mess to clean up. They didn't! Pros all around!
This is the second time we have used Beavercreek Landscaping to install drainage for our home. Both times the work has been excellent. They are efficient, show up when they say they will and the quality of work is fantastic. They are incredibly professional and the price quoted is fair for the work required. I will definitely use them again for any of our other drainage needs.
After a couple years of avoiding eye-contact with our mulch beds, we knew it was time to call in the pros. I reached out to Beavercreek Landscape Nursery and from the very first phone call, it was clear they were right for the job. Communication with the team was clear, consistent and thorough. They were always on time, gave helpful recommendations, and managed our expectations with regard to the project timeline. The work itself was accomplished over two days. The crew checked in with me whenever they had a question and did a thorough clean-up at the end. Then, a few days later, the project POC stopped by himself to check out the work and make sure we were happy. We were! We will definitely use them again when the yard needs a refresh.

I highly recommend Beavercreek Landscaping. They took out old bushes and planted all new landscaping for me. They worked with me on what plants I wanted installed. Even on the day they came to work, changes were made and they were very accommodating. They took great care with my yard when bringing in their machinery to take out the old bushes. They had me look at everything to make sure it was exactly like I wanted before they actually planted everything. They were very nice, professional and easy to work with. Absolutely top notch customer service and quality! I purchased a few yards of their black Mulch which was delivered promptly last Thursday afternoon. That evening I realized it wasn t nearly enough. Called them back first thing the next morning to see if they could deliver me 4 additional yards ASAP before the rain moved in. They were able to shuffle their schedule and find someone to deliver their product within an hour of that phone call. I cannot praise them enough on the outstanding service and product! It is sad to say that this level of service is hard to find these days, but I value it greatly and will use them for any needs in the future. Dave and the guys were at my house to fix where the gas company dug up a pipeline. They were very professional and did great work even after I asked them to return to fix some tracks in my yard. Dave was very concerned that I was happy with their work. If they are ever around this area again I may have them do landscaping for us. He was very knowledgeable and I would recommend him highly!
Working with Beavercreek Landscape & Nursery was a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! They installed a Paver Patio in our backyard and landscaped the surrounding area. Their work is absolutely Beautiful and we love our new Paver Patio!! Their creative design and quality of workmanship is amazing and far exceeded our expectations. All of the members of their team were courteous, professional and very responsive. We never waited long for anything! We were especially impressed with the timeliness of their service from the moment we contacted them through the day of installation and project completion. We had lots of questions and made a few changes along the way, and they never seemed to mind--they were always receptive to our needs! We cannot say enough great things about this company. Beavercreek Landscape & Nursery is our go-to source for mulch every year. Great product, delivered within hours usually. The owner, Dave Dietz, also designed our landscaping and his crew planted several trees and bushes in our otherwise boring/bare yard. Years later, those Norway spruce trees, ornamental pear trees, honey locust tree, lilac bushes, magnolia tree, dogwood tree, day lillies, oak leaf hydrangeas, sedum plants, and boxwood bushes look AMAZING! They put in raised beds to give it a custom, professional look
We recently had a smaller retaining wall built and garden lining placed by Beavercreek Landscaping. Dave (the owner) was super nice and personable. Tyler (who handled the project) was communicative and helpful the entire time. The job was done quickly and looks AMAZING!! Very happy with their work. Highly recommend.
Very pleased with the work Beavercreek Landscape did for us this past week. They helped us design what we wanted when we werent even sure where to start. The crew that was here were friendly and respectful and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, even straightening out a tree that was previously planted crooked by the builder.
We enjoyed walking through the Christmas tree lot. It is a beautiful property and my son was happy with our tree :)
This company has no respect for people! I was called rude names, yelled at and very disrespected by Scott Dietz! If something does not go his way he is very rude! I do not recommend this company to anyone!
I called them a month ago for a quote. The came out and said it should be a couple days. A week later I called and they still werent ready. I still havent heard from them a month later.
I called last week on Wednesday and made arrangements for a delivery of topsoil on Friday at 5 pm. Friday rolled around and no delivery. By 6 pm, I called but no answer. I tried again on Saturday. This time I left a voice mail. No return call by Monday so I tried one more call to them but reached no one. At this time, Im counting my blessings that I havent done any business with this company.

We had a severe drainage issue in our back yard that was getting worse with time. Called Beavercreek Landscaping because of their drainage expertise and had Dave come to the house to provide an estimate. He immediately understood the problem and offered a solution that was reasonably priced and made sense. The work was completed in a professional and timely manner, and the drainage problem has been resolved. The crew was very conscientious, and although the project was located at the very back end of our property they took great care to not damage the yard in the process. Also had them do some additional landscaping work while they were here, and we have been equally pleased with the outcome. Would recommend Beavercreek Landscaping and Nursery.
Weve had Dave and the Beavercreek Landscape team doing our personal residential landscaping for over a decade. Whether its the Spring Clean-up, mulching, or landscape design and installation the work has been flawless. Earlier this Spring we needed help with an emergency drainage issue. We called Beavercreek Landscape, explained the issue, and asked for ideas on how to fix it. Dave went one better, and told us theyd take care of it. They were at the house in under an hour to solve the problem. Incredible service.

I had a drainage problem in my backyard every time it rained. I had a small lake ankle deep in my small yard which remained for four to five days. My yard sits low and I was getting runoff from at least two neighbors yards. Dave gave me his recommendation of digging a trench with gravel and PVC pipe to funnel the water to a popup at the curb which ran the length of where my biggest problem was. He branched out two arms of drainage pipe to the two areas by the neighbors and fed in two of my downspouts. I have had no water issues even with the days we have had all day rains. I have seen along my neighbors fence that he has some standing so I know my yard would have been a lake but my drains are working so I have nothing standing or pooling. I have three small dogs and the installation did not cause them a problem with using the yard and the care the workers took with bringing in their equipment made the whole two day process a breeze. This company knows what they are doing!
We had a major project done to eliminate run off water from a 20 ft hill facing our backyard. They recommended adding a French drain. I had a lot of concerns doing this in the winter but my concerns were put to rest by the professional individuals who took the time to discuss each step in detail, answered all my questions and eliminated all my concerns . I was not let down. Dave and his crew did an amazing job. Each member of the crew showed professional work ethics and the team approach was commendable. They reached far above any expectations I had leaving my yard neatly covered eliminating a muddy mess. I was so happy with their work, I m going to use them for some spring landscaping. This is the worst company by far I have dealt with for my business. We scheduled for a job delivery was suppose to be 9am. 9:05 rolls around we call they said we are running a little behind we will be there in 30 mins. 9: 35 comes still no truck for delivery we call again. The person who answered the phone was smotty and said we just dont have people sitting at a desk to know where delivery is i said can we get a discount for waiting on you people our job is pushed back. Then he was like well you just want to cancel. I said no i expected you to have been here already. We are still waiting 1your later. This company has a bad attitude and poor management skills. Dont order from this company you will be waiting the whole day for these people. Its a joke.
