Cosme Landscape Maintenance in Alsip

They damaged my lawn sprinkler system more than once and refused to take responsibility for it. After spending over $10K with them, they would rather lose a customer instead of deducting $100 from the bill. They got what they wanted.

Love these guys! My lawn was looking really bad until I hired them. They do multiple things. I had my gutters cleaned and my bushes trimmed along with the grass cut and edged Great job! Now my lawn looks like carpet. I do highly reccomend them.

They fired me because I asked questions about my lawn. Yes one day they showed up on not there day and all I seen was a man walking in my back yard no landscaping products got nervous at this time grab a bat and went outside. Used them for 30 years and kept them do to loyalty even after there service was substandard over the past 5-6 years!! And I do notice they only answer the good reviews? I would never recommend this company.

All they do is use their blowers and blow leaves on the other neighbors lawn. Five of us went to the Alderman and its obvious he doesn't give a hoot! Their work on 99th and Tallman is a joke.

I have been a customer with Cosme Landscape for many, many years. They are so dependable, very thorough in what they do and their employees are great. I feel blessed to have them in my life and I do not have to worry about my lawn and landscaping being taken care of and always there rain or shine. Thank you Cosme, for all the wonderful years of service to me.

I have their service for 9yrs and I must say it was much better early on. I also have 5 sprayings a season and beginning last year my lawn was weed infested, I did complain and still noticed no improvement. Again this year the weeds are back, called and was told someone would be here to spot spray, waited 2 weeks no one came, called again, was told someone would be here, that was over a month ago, still no one. Their crew used to blow off the driveway, sidewalk and patio, now they barely do the driveway. If I see no improvement this season it will be their last, there are so many other landscapers to choose from, I have had other ones stop and tell me they can take care of my weed problem.

Let me first forewarn potential customers: do NOT use this company. They do quick and shoddy work and are rude to customers. Case in point, they are contracted to come out to my condo building for basic grass cutting and bush trimming. Except, they don't abide by the contract and they also are careless and destroy property. I had a limited edition flag on my balcony that was cut by their trimmers once before but I was able to fix it. This time they came by and managed to cut it in half at the wooden base with their cutter. Nice. I was home and I saw it so I went out to talk with them and fill out a property incident report and to take a picture of the damage, thinking they'd be apologetic. Wrong. They basically said "it's not their problem" and I need to "call a manager because they're too busy to deal with it." Too busy? Don't care? YOU are the one that destroyed my property. Then I proceeded to call Cosme but they were indifferent and acted like it happens all the time...which means they must have a lot of complaints. I had to argue my position and requested they cut a check for the cost of a similar priced flag as I know they're insured this shouldn't be a big deal. Apparently all they said they would do is glue it...really? That's going to fix a flag, I think not. This level of disrespect is all that I can take and as such I think we're going to cut ties with them and have our board dismiss them so we can go with a decent and reputable company.

We have been using Cosme for years. In addition to monthly services or as-needed things like seasonal clean-up and prep, they worked closely with us to help us plan our landscaping based on our experience level in keeping our plants alive and also making sure everything looked beautiful. They always respond in the most helpful way and stand behind every bit of work they do. We have referred them to so many people, and each one of them was thrilled and continued to refer them.
