This company is terrible! I have had a huge brown spot on my front yard since they began service in spring 2023. The brown spot is still there even after they seeded my lawn six times. I guess their 100% guarantee is that you will be 100% unhappy with their service. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. HIRE SOMEONE LOCAL.

They covered every area of my lawn with spray also use them for mosquitoes for the first time after a week the amount of mosquitoes on my back door decreased tremendously I just wish they would spray more often a month not just monthly which will continue to decrease the mosquitoes. As of now I am happy to enjoy my backyard finally. I will keep this post updated if I start seeing mosquitoes I have an update I did see again within 3 weeks but I called and they came out again to spray so far I am happy I highly recommend griffin he is the best Does exactly as you ask sprays the areas that are affected and doesnt cut corners Today is July 5th 2023 the mosquitoes has decreased tremendously to none highly recommend the mosquitoes defense but in regards to the weeds I still see weeds no difference to be honest hopefully you want my honesty?!

Came to house sat in truck and left in 5 minutes. Got a text saying service completed and no work was done. Watched all on camera BEWARE THEY WILLL SCAM YOU.

We got TruGreen to help fix our lawn and they did not. Their weed killer doesn t kill weeds. Their fertilizer only helps the weeds grow. They suck, don t waste your money.

Very unhappy. One year later and still unhappy. And they dont care! I keep my backyard locked and have requested 3xs that they call before a service and I get oh so sorry everytime I call. Very tired of this company and their tactics. Writing this 2 years later and now for some unknown reason they dropped me. No service for the month of August and when I called it was no big deal. This is why I dont prepay this company. I plan to find another company for next year. I decided to try for just another year because the people they send out genuinely want to please the customer. So here we go again......Hate their billing method. Billing me for something that was paid already. Done, done, done!

So far the 2nd best move Ive made regarding my lawn. Struggling for 25 years and barely getting a decent lawn. they aerated and over seeded. The treatments have went well with William C. Always rings the bell. Very courteous. 1st best move was getting June for my rep. I told her that I might be a pain and I think I am but she always gets back to me. I have left an email on the customer service email but did not hear back. Thats fine June is on the job. I hope it keeps up. Thanks guys.

Update: A corporate representative did reach out after my post was read. They had a representative from my local branch office contact me to resolve my concerns. I m happy to write that Anna, at the local office, immediately addressed all my concerns and efficiently rectified my lawn issues. She also followed up to ensure that all is well. It was and I thank corporate office and Anna for all they did! Original post: Customer service reps try to help and some are better than others. However, when requests are made to speak with the office that services my account, I am told there is no direct contact available. Unless, I get a call back from the office to me. This is not only annoying but time consuming on my part. As after explaining my concerns, the customer service rep often times is unable or lacks the knowledge to handle a request that may be out of their script response available. I have been a customer approaching 40 years and expect better. I think you would agree!

2:30 pm or 3:30 today - what you guys did was so wrong. Number one you realize the owners of the house werent here and took advantage of that. Before you can even come knocking on the door you started spraying in the yard, showed no info at all. Afterwards my mother tells me that your services were canceled a while ago and you guys were not supposed to come. Pretty sure you knew that. Good luck dealing with her. Shady mf company that doesnt respect a canceled service.

Kimberly K did an excellent job. We spoke before she began and took note of new grass areas to not step on or to drag spray hose through. Consciousness worker only to be held back by poorly maintained equipment. Kimberly got 95% of the job done before her equipment quit. This isnt the first time Ive seen your equipment fail. Not to impressed Tru Green is a large company.Your supervisor or manager should get involved.

This service is a joke. Had a cess pool done so my yard is ripped up and bare. At point of sale I was promised the world I specifically asked if the seed could be planted earlier than usual because I need grass for the summer. I was assured this wouldn t be a problem seed would be down and I would have grass this summer with no weeds was guaranteed now I m told there is nothing that can be done won t be planted until September after the season. Whole reason I did this was to have grass. When I called to speak to customer service they told me they could discount my account but can t change the schedule. They then backtracked and said no discount could be given. Service is a joke it s just people fielding calls promising the world on things that can t be delivered use your local landscaper avoid this company at all costs.

No one will show up on the day they say they are coming to service. I had signed up for mosquito plus bugs service. The guy came on the day when it was pouring outside. He waited when the rain stopped for 5-10 min, sprayed around the yard and left. It poured immediately after he left. So I called trugreen and told them about reservice. They will tell you someone will call but no body calls. I called them again in about 3-4 days and they were able to schedule me. I got notification saying driver is on the way. We waited but no one came. I called them again next day and they are like we don t see you on the reservice. I told them then why did I get text message about driver on the way. It was same nonsense again. I cancelled them on the spot.

Warning this might be long but it should help someone out.Im sure TruGreen has a bunch of wonderful employees. However, their business has too many issues with it. Ive experienced a few issues myself and Ive read plenty of other issues online when using TruGreen. Last year I had scheduled only an aeration to be done on my lawn. I had specifically said at least 10 times to the person I was speaking to only aeration. I do not want overseeding. Im going to be doing overseeding myself. She ensured that only aeration would be done. Thankfully the day of aeration I was home to watch. This person when doing the aeration basically did a circle around my front yard. Whenever Ive watched a video tutorial on aeration everybody is doing it horizontally and vertically not in a circle. Not only did he do that but he was about to perform overseeding. Thankfully again I was there and I stopped him and I told him I only ask for aeration. He told me that the schedule showed aeration and overseeding. Move forward a few months later in the beginning of 2023 I had received emails talking about my subscription and payment for my subscription. So I had called TruGreen up and I said I had canceled everything and never signed up for a subscription. They ensured that everything was canceled and i would not get charged for subscription and all I wanted was the aeration done last year. Fast forward again to 2 weeks ago and they came to my house to perform aeration and overseeding. Thankfully my neighbor was home and was able to stop the guy from doing the aeration overseeding. I had called them up the next day and asked Why was the service about to be performed when I canceled everything. No explanation was given and she wants again insured that everything was canceled. Theres no subscription nothings going to be done. Lawn care while yes, it does take some time. Once you get used to it, you can easily perform it yourself. If youre looking to learn how to do your own lawn care, look up on YouTube the lawn care nut. He explains everything very easily so you can do it yourself. Its how I got started in lawn care and doing my own loan myself. I understand that a lot of people do not want to do their own lawn care and therefore they go to a company like TruGreen, but I would suggest not going through TruGreen. You can do the research yourself and see plenty of people, especially on Reddit, have had the same issues Ive had where they come back to do a service that you did not request.

I contracted for one year of service (fertilization, core aeration, etc) and specified not to come on Thursdays. That is the day my landscaper comes to mow the lawn and mowing right after treatment renders the fertilizer treatment useless. You can guess where I am going right? Every TruGreen treatment is on a Thursday, and within an hour of the treatment, my landscaper shows up and my lawn is mowed. I have called several times and written several treatment reviews and feedback, every time requesting to not be serviced on Thursdays but somehow they do not care and the next time they show up on a Thursday again. My lawn is a weed and crabgrass mess. It looks as bad as it has ever looked even though I am spending over $1200 on the TruGreen service. I would never recommend this service to anyone!

Way overpriced compared to most places. They probably do decent work but you will pay for it and if you decide not to go with them you will get emails, voicemails, phone calls from them with all different numbers for months.

If I can give zero stars, I would. They are horrible. I have cameras around my entire house and time after time they skip 95% of my yard. One time the truck pulled up and didn t even get out of the car and marked it as completed. I called, they had the same guy come back and he gave me an attitude and told me not to call his supervisor on him because that was out of line on my end. I spent more time on the phone with them, sending them videos of them skipping majority of my property and absolutely nothing was done. Still was charged for it. This company is an absolute joke. Stay far away.

Terrible company. Had terrible service last year with no decrease in ticks or mosquitos including have additional services done and then today I get a text message my service was scheduled for Monday 5/9. Had to call and complain/cancel. What a scam. Total rip off. Avoid at all costs!

Fine waiting for next treatment

Ive made attempts to have my lawn looked at numerous times. My lawn is loaded with mushrooms and totally infected with fungus. This is why at times I choose to maintain my own lawn. Not happy with Trugreen once again!!! FYI interval between applications is too long. Sorry!

I do not recommend TruGreen. TruGreen was suppose to apply fungicide to my lawn. The technician came and sprayed the bushes instead. I called the next day and was told they ran out of chemicals and would be back the following week. That was 3 weeks ago. I keep calling and am told they are coming but no one shows. Now they are telling me they cannot come until July 18. That is a month since the application should have been done and my lawn is full of fungus. They do not do the service they are paid to do and management does not return calls or respond to emails. Do not waste your money with TruGreen! I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

True Green is a horrible company to do business with. They show up about 50% of the time, cancelling appointments with no excuse. So they say if you are not happy with the service, just call and they will repeat the service etc. So if I wasnt happy with the lawn, called and set up another appt and you dont show up...Then you have to reschedule again so it takes weeks to get a reservice after your not satisfied. Also you can not speak to a supervisor you have to wait 24hrs and they are supposed to call you back. Had issues with them last year but gave them another chance. Not happy, probably moving on next year. All my neighbors too!

The proof is in the pudding from this old timer. My lawn is finally starting to look GREAT Keep up this wonderful Service.

Updating as I finally got serviced. Fact is mosquitoes are gone so thats great. Still a rough start. Adding a couple stars and well see how it goes from here. ................ Prepaid for a summers with of service and nobody ever came. Customer service seems to be pretty good except nobody ever came. Got a call from a manager, nobody ever came. If you want to throw money out and talk to people on the phone/chat then go for it but dont expect service.

Horrible. Worst. Don t use them. Can t reach anyone after multiple calls. Didn t show up for inspection. Grass dying and full of crabgrass. Can t wait to cancel my service.

My next door neighbors use this abomination of a caustic chemical driven company. They have entered my property 3 times that I know of, twice screamed on for not reading address and coming onto our space and today they actually placed fertilizer on a quarter of an acre of my property that I KEEP AS NATUAL AND ORGANIC as possible. Tresspassed and ruined my viable growing areas for food as well as failing to tell us with notice or my father who caught them as he was leaving for work that this flotsam is harmful to children and pets. I reached out earlier and still no response.I will be escalating this. Who knows what else they have put down on my land without us seeing. I am FURIOUS!

At TruGreens price point it is hard to personalize the service. I do understand that, so 3 stars for personalized services. 5 stars for chemical applications. My existing grass still looks good. In my case, I had a 300 sq ft area of my backyard turned, shifted (removed rocks), scraped back 2, and a fresh 2 of treated top soil laid down. Followed by $100 worth of very good Kentucky Blue Grass seed. Which had started growing. The TG tech ripped up my fresh growing new grass when aerating. He then throw down rye grass seed mix which is ok as a filler. How do you aerate fresh turned smooth soil with grass seedlings growing! The attention to details is missing, agh!!!

Worst lawn service STAY AWAY NOT WORTH THE AGGRAVATION!!! Never do what there supposed to do, had to constantly call and staff is poorly trained , and to answer your response I TRIED THAT (calls and emails) YOUR TEAM IS HORRIBLE AND SO IS YOUR MANAGEMENT THAT IS WHY YOUR COMPANY IS FAILING!!!

They are a horrible company. Don t waste your money

Theyre cheaper than the rest but you get what you pay for. They often dont come out to lay chemicals in the time they tell you. when they do its just done with the manual spreader. My weeds dont seem to have disappeared yet and I am 8 weeks into the program. I used to have the lawn doctor and they were very pricey but again you get what you pay for. They were good!!

TrueScam! STAY AWAY!! I ve used these guys in the past and kept giving them second chances due to the price being lower than others. They used to come and say they were here when they weren t, they would say they did the back when the gate was locked, they covered my truck in chemicals twice. All things caught in camera by the way. But, a few years ago I had enough, and started using another company which were great. Due to high prices, we wanted to give true green one last chance, I expressed all my concerns on the phone, told them to label the gates are locked, and there are cameras on the entire property so nobody screws around. But what happens? The guy comes, doesn t knock on my door, doesn t do the entire back of the property because the gates are locked, instead he writes the work has been finished, and specifies on the service order that the back was completed! These guys are not trained well, they are mostly liars and scam artists that don t care about your property or your hard earned money you are spending with them. Whether or not these workers are good people is not something I can answer, but it says a lot when when they do stuff like this over and over again. The sad truth is, I ve always been able to show all this because of my cameras, but what about the countless people without cameras? They just take advantage of people and again they don t care at all. This is truly the worst service I ve ever used. I will be sharing my experience on all media outlets. TrueGreen don t bother replying with some pre-scripted garbage to email my experience to you, or that you are sorry, it s all BS. I did call and gave all the details when filing a case. Your insensitive pre written responses only make matters worse. I don t know how you guys can sleep at night.

Over priced. But I must admit I have the nicest crab grass and clover lawn in the neighborhood. Worst lawn I have had in 50 years. Waist of money. Never again. Negative
