Carriage Park: You do sloppy work. You blow debris off the sidewalks and roadways into our freshly mowed grass to sit there for a week until the next mowing. Your employees also blow the debris into the storm drains which will clog them and then we will have to pay another company to come out and clean them. Your job is not rocket science! Edging, you have not edged the flower bed in front of our building for over 3 weeks. It has been brought to your attention and you still have not done it. You use an excuse about not doing the edging every week???? You have never done it but you do it at all the other condos so I am not buying your excuse. Now lets talk about our worthless board, worthless Karens.

A Carriage Park Condominium Association Unit owner, Robin Woolhiser, posted a very negative review regarding Colonial Lawn and Garden on April 24, 2024. To clarify, the Board of Directors of the Condominium Association is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the Common Elements throughout our community, which includes the landscape and lawns. The Board of Directors contracted with Colonial Lawn and Garden for the lawn and landscape maintenance, not this individual Unit owner. As the Landscape Committee Chairperson, it is imperative a high level of communication with Colonial Lawn and Garden is maintained as they take directives from the Board. Again, Carriage Park Condominium Association and I would highly recommend Colonial Lawn and Garden for your lawn and landscape needs. Associate is friendly and attentive. For some reason the lawn had quite a few clumps of cut grass laying on the yard after completing. I m guessing the bag was getting too full before emptying.

My neighbor has the best yard in the area. I asked him for his secret. He said he owes his beautiful yard to Colonial Lawn and Garden. Mike C came over and patiently explained the issues my yard has and described ways Colonial could mitigate and improve those problems. Mike then identified a leak in my irrigation system and made several calls to arrange for a Colonial irrigation expert to check the issue. Cody B then arrived and swiftly identified the cause of the leak. Both Mike and Cody were extremely helpful and are credits to their company. I am now a happily subscribed member of the Colonial family and I encourage everyone to trust their yard needs to Colonial.

They are really great professionals. I have been using their service for 4-5 years. Good quality Everytime and with a very accessible costume service.

Colonial has been doing my lawn fertilizing applications and I was very satisfied with the service and the field applicators have been great. I just had Colonial do an aeration, top dressing and overseed on my lawn. I was not totally satisfied with some aspects of the services performed and Eric has refunded my cost of the item discussed. I find it VERY unusual, and impressive, that a company doing business will actually respond to concerns of a customer.

Mike has provided excellent customer service including a detailed estimate of the work to be completed, follow up detail to ensure my mom s lawn and tree/shrub maintenance looks beautiful. The maintenance schedule is on time, dependable and response for repair is timely. I live in another state making help with yard care for my elderly mom a challenge. It s reassuring to know that she can rely on colonial to do a good job, provide good customer service and respond to maintenance needs immediately. Sprayed bushes and fertilized yard throwing in at no cost bug baafter Scott came and gave an estimates i gave him $200 cash in which he was to return with reciet. After seeing my yard turned yellow in spots they came out to look at what was wrong only. Then I asked for b them to spray for bugs again because nothing had change. The secrecy called saying they would be coming now this was in October. Scott said at the initial walk around that 200 would take me through winter. ..I made sure he understood not to exceed that $200 and this is why he said it would pay through only the winter cause the entire year was 325 something like that. I immediately received a bill by this company..I called and treated like in a a disrespect that a c ustomer and assurley in a manner no 51 at the time and a black person to top off nobody should be treated. This company robbed me. I went to the location and spoke with a employee named Mike. Funny though all that disrespect I went through with the secretary..didnt speak to me in that manner but sure was wondering who I was. Mike showed me after looking for my account that colonial had refunded me already. But it failed to say the amount. This is drawing the line. I informed him to find that refund because I had in fact never a check. He then apologized if there was any misunderstanding and would speak to Scott and his supervisor. He showed a refund right on his desk top computer. The following morning Scott call with sudden amnesia. Says Im not do a refund I did not tell him to not go the $200 nor did he say it would carry through winter and I owe nothing. Why would this company do this to me. ..I trusted this company for yard services and they intern refused to refund although it clearly should on the screen. Scott behaved just as the secretary did will arguments and defending his lies ..but then again I know this is racially motivated. But I will be taking this company to civil court because taking from customer because of theres ethnic background is a horrible shame they now can pay for the court and reburstment in full am thankful for my video and surveillance equipment so mr. Scotts lies can not only be clearly seen but the public can him and our discussion..watching this now I will show just how this employee lied and I also that lovely secretary on speaker it just took some time to locate my files. See you in court. Over your shady deeds and Mike I though maybe you would save the companys reputation but you helped seal the entire deal and keep my files they will challenge. I had been a customer of Colonial Lawn and Garden a few years ago when I had my heart attack and strokes. I have been able to maintain the yard when I got better. But now I need assistance. I called on Friday afternoon before Memorial Day weekend. Mike came Tuesday afternoon to give me an estimate. He was very professional and explained everything clearly. I signed back up for Colonials service. Mike was such a pleasure to work with. I think management should give Mike a spiff for his nice work.

Great service with having my sprinkler system Installed

Colonial Lawn came out to do an initial estimate for designing and creating a backyard oasis for me. This included multiple trees, shrubs, grasses, decorate boulders, and river rock. They also rerouted my drip irrigation and even installed a new digital sprinkler timer for me that can be accessed via my phone. Absolute phenomenal quality, did the entire project in two days which blew my mind, and included some additional plants to make sure everything looked perfect. They also came out to do a weed and feed on my lawn in which the guy gave me some valuable advice on how to keep it looking perfect. Can t thank them enough and highly recommend using them! Their whole staff was very respectful, professional, and obviously cared about their work.

After starting using your service, this is the best our lawn has looked in the 12 years we lived here. Our grass is lush and green and gorgeous! My husband has to mow twice a week now and the bags are adding up faster and heavier he reports. Thank you so much for coming by and pitching your service. We will recommend you to everyone!

Tim and Jacob showed up on time and did a fantastic job at moms place trimming all of the shrubs & arborvitaes around the back yard and pool area. Also trimmed up the lower branches on a large blue spruce and sculpted and shaped the 3 beautiful Japanese Maples in the front yard. Did a great job of cleanup on her property and the neighbors as well. I called for a quote on some extensive landscaping help I needed and they were quick to respond and set up a time for a quote. The quote was very reasonable so we scheduled the work. The team from Colonial came out early on the day scheduled and did an amazing job! They cleaned up the area, removed all the debris and made everything look better. If you need help with your landscaping projects call them!

Colonial sent Mike out to give me an estimate for addressing my lawn issues which was primarily a problem with my automatic sprinklers. Mike was very polite and knowledgable and wrote a a list of services they could perform to help me out. My irrigation system needed a system check, filters changed, nozzles adjusted, angles adjusted, lift sunken sprinklers, possibly add sprinklers and replace 4 broken heads. I was told that they wouldnt send someone to work on my sprinklers unless i signed up for the recurring fertilizer plan, which i agreed to because i needed my sprinklers fixed. They sent the irrigation guy who replaced the 4 broken sprinklers then said he cant do any of the other work and left. He didnt even turn on all the sprinklers (zones) to check them. I called to ask to have someone come back and do the other tasks I agreed to with Mike and instead of sending someone, the irrigation guy called me and argued with me. Eventually, he said he would come back out and never did. I sent colonial a message (via their website) outlining my issues and never received a response. Instead, they sent me a bill for $325 even though they still have not done the work they agreed to perform. Update: The company president, Lance, reached out to me in order to rectify the situation. It is too late in the season to address my irrigation issues but we were able to come to a fair resolution. I appreciate his effort and willingness to remedy the problems. Changed my review from 1 star to 4.

As a home owner I have always wanted my yard to be professionally maintained by CLG. They are responsible for the best looking yards in our neighborhood, their team is proactive, they set expectations with me, and their communication lets me know Im taken care of.

I called Colonial for aeration and leveling on my patio plus pruning a pine. A person named Mike called me the next day asking if I wanted the estimate for the whole year service on the lawn, I said for now I need... He said that he will call next day at noon to come to my house. I waited nobody called, I called 2 hours later leaving a message to Mr. Mike if I should keep waiting, if he was planning to come..., he sent a text saying I cannot talk now, I am calling you shortly . He never called. Very unprofessional. Made me waste a whole afternoon. I canceled with them.

Brandon replaced a water valve. He had to dig out the water box because the valve was too close to the side. He was cheerful, hardworking and fast. We loved his upbeat, get it done attitude. We will ask for Brandon in the future.

Don t use this lawn service. They don t listen to the homeowners instructions. After making two complaints about the service, they decided they didn t want me as a customer. Killed my flowers in my yard after I asked them twice not to weed and feed because of the grape hyacinth and violas in my grass. Killed all the grass around my trees with a weed eater.

Dillon Beard has done an excellent job in taking care of my yard. I have had other companies take care of my yard and didn t do as well so I was skeptical but they came thru like Rock Stars! I highly recommend Colonial Lawn Care!
