Hired them to come out and aerate our yard. Big mistake. Instead of bringing the proper push size for our job, they brought a huge riding aerater which butchered up our front yard. Called their General Manager Deandre Moore to come out and look at the damage. His two person crew male and female told him they only used a push aerator to do the job which was a complete lie. He told me he would call me back after doing the research and never did. Never heard from them again. And because of the damage they did, our yard has never been the same. Thanks to their piss poor poor performance, we're going to have to lay sod this coming spring. Stay clear. Poor quality, poor customer service, poor management.

Terrible Review for Scott Covert, Owner of Heroes Lawn Care: I advise against hiring Scott Covert, owner of Heroes Lawn Care, and his team. This has been, without a doubt, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a contractor. Scott assured me, in good faith, that his crew was experienced in handling projects like mine, specifically dismantling and reinstalling my high-end privacy fence. He even went so far as to express regret that he hadn’t inspected the fence beforehand, but that didn’t stop him from promising that his team could handle it based on their "experience." Unfortunately, the reality was far from what was promised. During the delivery of my shed, his crew, who were responsible for handling the gravel foundation, completely ruined my fence. The damage went beyond just the dismantling process—the fence was poorly put back together, with several posts crooked and not anchored adequately as initially. One of the kickboards was installed incorrectly, and another wasn’t put back at all. There’s also a damaged fence panel on the Shark hinge gate. On two separate occasions, Scott’s crew showed up with additional young workers I had never seen before, and they appeared unprofessional and inexperienced. It left me uneasy, especially since I had no idea about their qualifications or familiarity with fence work. Scott acknowledged the damage and promised to cover all repair costs, admitting responsibility for what had happened. He even said that if he had known the nature of my fence, he would have reconsidered taking on the task. But despite his promises, he did not follow through, leaving me with thousands of dollars in additional out-of-pocket expenses to repair the damage. This situation has dragged on for far too long and caused me an immense amount of stress. I had to take time off work to gather estimates from multiple fence companies to restore my fence to its original state. My new fence company was appalled by the unprofessionalism of Scott's crew and the fact that they didn’t contact 811 (the proper service for digging) for two full business days before digging—something that is legally required. During the digging process, they hit a line for my Spectrum internet, causing further issues, and I had to contact Spectrum to get it repaired. This entire experience has been a nightmare, from the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and careless handling of my property to the utter failure to meet any promises. The stress, time lost, and financial burden caused by Scott Covert and his team have been beyond anything I could have imagined. I would never, under any circumstances, recommend Heroes Lawn Care to anyone. This has been a huge disappointment, and I sincerely regret trusting this company with my property.

Scott and his team did an amazing job redoing my rainwater drainage in the backyard, which was previously over engineered and required repeated maintenance after heavy rains. Their solution was simple, neat, maintenance free and their pricing totally fair! I highly recommend Hero's Lawn Care! They have comprehensive services you definitely need to check them out for any yard related issue.

I have used them for a year now and they are the best thing I ever did. My lawn looks great! They recently repaired sprinklers, very affordable. They have also trimmed trees, taken care of weeds and removed plants for me. Not only is the Owner nice, he’s fair and his employees are top notch. Very Honest. I won’t use anyone else.

Almost side swiped me this morning taking my kid to school. He was so close to hitting us and forced us into on coming traffic on Merritt. He was still right next to me all there way down Woodbridge. Just senseless. Why would you drive like that where you work? I will never recommend this company.

Heroes restored my lawn from weeds to a beautiful Zoysia lawn that will grow despite the shade of my Maple tree. They were thorough in removing the old dirt and weeds and left my property clean. Super efficient and helpful!

ZERO STARS - BEWARE Customers and neighbors BEWARE NEGLIGENT Company and INSENSITIVE Owner I am writing to express my deep concern and dissatisfaction with the recent events involving Heroes Lawn Care. Their team was responsible for damaging our internet connectivity, while working on my neighbors lawn care. Initially, they damaged the first internet wire that connects to my home, which they informed us about. However, despite their awareness of not having the correct mapping of our underground wires, they proceeded to cut three additional wires, resulting in a loss of internet service that affected our home for a significant period of time. The business demonstrated negligence by persisting with trenching despite being aware of incorrect markings and severing a wire leading to our property. Instead of rectifying the error and obtaining accurate mapping, they continued trenching unabated. Consequently, the severed wires disrupted our internet connectivity, leaving my husband unable to work for hours despite attempting to use a hotspot, which proved futile due to the computer's inability to connect. This disruption had a direct impact on my husband, who is a contractor and relies on a stable internet connection to carry out his work. As a consequence of this company's actions, he suffered a loss of income. I have reached out to the owner Scott Covert multiple times, and all he mentioned that my claim was comical and that we should have used a hotspot. Oh well!
