My lawn looks great. The company is very responsive and easy to work with.

Overall the grass health is better than last year. But there are some dead grass spots for some reason

They took our yard from nothing but weeds, to thriving Bermuda within a year! We live on .5 acres and are so happy with the results!

These guys are professional, they provide detailed answers on just about anything related to your lawn, i have a perfect 3/4 acre of bermuda lawn thank to their service!

Great service and communication - our lawn looks great.

Initially, this company was great. They answered my call and got my service scheduled. They showed up to my home, didn t ring the doorbell or knock on the door to let me know anyone was there or to put up my dogs and the stuff they sprayed on the yard is extremely toxic, so I was a little aggravated with that, but the service went well so I overlooked it. Regarding payment for the service: I offered to prepay, but they said they would invoice me and I could pay it that way. The service we done I think 8-12-24. I had honestly forgot about it bc I run two businesses and don t have the time to track down bills. I expect to receive the invoice so I can pay it. Fast forward to today 9-12-24 , I got a phone call and when I answered the girl on the phone said this is abracadabra lawn care and we still haven t received payment for you service and I have called to get payment now . First of all, you never speak to a customer that way . Secondly, you could use a better tone of voice and choice of words . Thirdly, make sure the person has received the invoice before you start barking at them. I explained to her that I hadn t received an invoice or I would surely have paid it. I m not one to not pay my bills. She said well I sent it to your email and I told her I hadn t received it. She proceeded to say well did you ever think to check your spam and my answer was no bc I hadn t been looking for it. So there I went thumbing through my email for the invoice and of course it was NO WHERE to be found. So I asked the lady to please tell me what email address she had. Sure enough they had spelled the email wrong , so I had in fact not received the email. As I explained this to the woman she got very quiet and then said mam you don t have to be rude . I was not being rude , I was simply explaining that that was the reason I hadn t received an email and that it was not on me, since she has been so blatantly rude about me not paying my invoice . This was literally the worst customer service I might have ever received . You NEVER call a customer and tell them I m calling to get payment now in the tone of voice she used. Not everyone out there is trying to escape paying or dodge you. In this instance, I simply hadn t received the emails that I could pay, or even knew how much to pay. Once I received the invoice, it was paid within an hour, but I will definitely NOT be doing anymore business with this company. It makes me sad bc our sweet elderly neighbors referred us, and so I was sure that they would be awesome to work with bc my neighbors said so. I m sad I didn t get to have that experience.

I found this company as they were treating my neighbors yard and it really looked nice! My yard was a mess for many reasons! Christian assessed the situation, offered suggestions that were out of the company s scope. My yard is getting there .

It s a pretty good service. It gets rid of 90% of weeds. Theres still some stuff but they re not the annoying ones.

Then she told me we dont do mowing well thats what a lawn care service does is mowing she said we just do fertilizer. I chose Abracadabra based on their good reviews, and I ve not been let down. I have a number of red tipped photinia bushes that I thought I was going to lose-in fact, I did lose several of them in previous years. The fungal infection in the spring was eating them up. I ve used Abracadabra since fall of 2023, and now they look great.

We tried everything to get rid of the weeds on our lawn. After just ONE treatment the weeds are gone and my lawn looks amazing. They spray magic!! (Explains the name lol). Besides all that their customer service is beyond impressive, they really care about getting it right. As long as I have a lawn, Abracadabra has my service!

Honest Top Notch People!!!

We have used Abracadabra for several years. They are careful, reliable and communicative.

After paying in over $500 for treatment, our lawn is actually worse than before this company started. They claimed it was diseased. Well, we actually had another professional come and inspect, turns out not diseased. They falsely represented themselves and then after fulfillment of the written estimate they turned us over to a collection agency. They ve been out to look at our issues a few times and never could resolve them. One young man that came was observed by my wife spraying our rose bushes and plants against the fence. Within two weeks they were dying. I called and one gentleman came and they claimed diseased ! Also our grass was way worse than ever and now had bald spots everywhere! Weeds became worse! They were even sent pictures and inspected. But after several treatments it was worse! We ve called another specialist and was advised it was over fertilized and burned. As I stated earlier, we fulfilled our obligation for the estimate and treatments given. They then claimed we owe for two more treatments of which no one ever showed nor were we notified. The owner claims they sent an email. They did not. All previous times we were texted that a tech was coming. No notification for Nov or Dec 2022. But we were charged and our rear gate was locked so there was no means of entry. We are now fraudulently being turned over to collections for services not rendered. I called and attempted to discuss but was treated rudely and hung up on. Called and left messages to talk to supervisor no return response. Called again, Katrina? The alleged owner was just as unaccommodating as their office personnel. Very rude and unprofessional. Basically we feel scammed and left with dead rose bushes, plants & grass. We have all the evidence, proof and payments of fulfillment. It s not even about the $116.00, it s the principle of their business practices and unprofessionalism. We ve also been advised by many others of their scams and repeating the same treatment. Turning everything over the legal process along with losses and fees! We have now hired an advocate that also verifies they ruined our lawn and killed our plants! If there was anyway to give minus stars of course we would. Turning them over to the State Agricultural Commission, BBB & our legal team. Believing they ll never rip anyone off again nor poison their plants or kill their grass. Unbelievable that this company even exists! Get ready for the come back falsifications because they are full of them. Reply to owner s excuses: The fact remains that we fulfilled our obligation and agreement. Your false claims are unwarranted. The claims your company has of disease are false as they have been refuted by another professional. You re scamming with your illegitimate claims concerning cancellation policy . There is no contract only the estimate for said number of treatments. Which were all paid with exception to the November and December dates due to no service or treatment given. Your extensive falsification will be turned over and refuted with evidence of before and after pictures and documentation of payment. It is appalling how you treat customers. Your excuses are completely false, ridiculous and without warrant. Your measly $116 collection will end up costing you a surmountable cost way beyond, plus loss of business and legal action for damages to our lawn. Sad day for those who trust you going forward. It will cost them dearly. Customers Beware!

Texas has harsh weather to work through when attempting to have a green yard but they have my yard looking plush and pretty. They are always on time and professional. We live in the state of Washington. My husbands Mom lives in Rowlett Texas. After encountering fire ants in her yard the first time I visited, I immediately did some research and determined Abracadabra was most likely the best company to treat her yard. And they proved me right. They have been treating her yard on a yearly basis now for several years. They do a great job! If there is an issue in between the yearly application, all I have to do is give them a call to let them know. They come out immediately to do another treatment free of charge. They are very professional, courteous and kind. I highly recommend them!

Great Company to do business with. I started with Lawn Care and was so pleased with the service and customer care that I added termite care a few years later. I can honestly say that my lawn is looking much better year over year. Is it perfect, no, but Abracadabra has be hampered by the rain, and promptly get to my lawn care when the weather is right. I would definitely recommend them to my family, friends, and neighbors. I even added a family member to Abracadabra services when they bought their first home in 2023. They also do a great job at the company I worked for and had facilities responsibility for. Give them a call you will not regret it.

I have the best-looking lawn on our street thanks to Abracadabra! Their technicians do their job well and are always on time. I highly recommend them!

Id stay away from this place. They were supposed to come on 4/1/2022 and nobody showed up. They surprised me on 4/2/2022 without a word. When I asked about being notified that nobody was coming, I was told that I wasnt marked as a call ahead, so they just show up whenever and dont notify if they arent fulfilling their obligation. Today is 5/24, and I was told they would be here every 6 weeks. This is 7 1/2 weeks and not a word. I guess well hire a company that our neighbors are using and see how that goes. I know its only been one treatment, but I cant see any difference and we badly need the 2nd treatment that they didnt show up for. Tobey Pearson

Person who answered phone was polite. Website states they service Dallas County and that ISNT true. They serve some of Dallas County. I am 32 miles from Rowlett, inside Dallas County but that was too far. Other than that I heard grand things about this company.

Whatever they use works great. Not a single weed all summer and I even skipped a fertilizer application. Highly recommend.

I left the first of July with a yard full of dallisgrass and came back a month later to a green lawn without a trace of dallisgrass. Way to go!

Abracadabra s services & people are excellent. It was impt to me to avoid over/under treating problem areas in my lawn, so using a reputable lawn service is critical & the lawn now looks great. I appreciate the respectful, knowledgeable consultation (no mansplaining). They know what they are doing & the prices are fair. I recommend them.

I contacted Abracadabra due to my St Augustine having several brown patch areas. Tobin arrived and immediately started spraying the entire lawn with their fungicide and took the time to answer any questions I had for him. Tobin also provided several recommendations and tips that I would ve never known. I definitely recommend them as I am already looking forward to the second part of the treatment in 2 weeks.

Our lawn has had an amazing turnaround since using Abracadabra. I thought it would take a year or more to get our lawn to a better state since it was in such poor condition. But, in less than a year our lawn has seen a 100% improvement. Everyone that comes over asks us how we got our lawn looking so much better in such a short time, I just say Abracadabra! simple as that (sorry I couldnt help myself). In all seriousness the service is impeccable and friendly, you will not be disappointed.

Since theyve been doing my yard it looks like a million dollars. I am very pleased with their service. The service technician that performs his work take Pride in his work. I have talked to him several times and He tells me whats going on with my yard. And that is customer service.

I have been using Abracadabra for close to 2 years, I used them at our previous home and when I moved, I was lucky enough that they service my new area. No complaints, and my grass is looking healthy even in the extreme heat.

They do a good job, although in recent years weve seen more and more weeds. Mostly, my yard looks great. But we have had an outbreak of nutsegde grass all over our lawn that they state they are treating for, but it doesnt seem to be getting better. Also, I have a gravel pathway that is usually riddled with small weeds, but they will not treat and when I called they advised me to instead buy some roundup and spray it. Pretty sure thats what I pay them to do....but otherwise the service is fine and seems reasonably priced. Every time I have had to call they are friendly and professional, which is appreciated.

Abracadabra gets it right and they keep coming back. Lawn was seriously weeded and it took several trips from Abracadabra yo fix it. Tried other lawn weed and feed services got the best results from using Abracadabra.

I never have to think about my yard. They treat my lawn as needed and always give me a heads up before showing up. When I talk with the technicians, they are always friendly and knowledgeable.

After firing TruGreen, I went with Abracadabra. Christy texts me when work is pending, and if I need to reschedule or otherwise modify my service, shes been great to work with. The folks that come out to lay down the treatments are knowledgable and courteous. Unlike TruGreen, they really seem to understand the work theyre doing, and can make intelligent decisions to adapt to changing conditions. Definitely recommended for anyone who wants weed control and fertilization.

I have had Abracadabra spraying my yard for almost a year and have shown little improvement, but the last spray that they did was when all the leaves were on the yard. They sprayed over the leaves. When I called to ask how the spray was going to get to the yard with it covered with leaves. My response was to turn my sprinkler system on. Now when the temperature is 20 degrees F do they really think I am going to turn on my sprinkler system? When we were home once when they sprayed they spent about 2 minutes on the back yard. I am not sure how much they sprayed in that time. I am cancelling my service.

Do a pretty good job. Still seem to have quite a few weeds, but they keep them somewhat under control.

Show up quarterly. Would strongly like to suggest setting up a contact program where the homeowner will receive email, text and phone call on when the next scheduled visit will occur. I really enjoyed this from other companies we tried prior to them. Have been using for most of 2016, still have some weeds that always seem to be the fault of something. I make this comment because I compare our yard to our neighbor who uses a different company and when comparing they are experiencing better results. We also use this company for pest control. I would give similar response and rating. I know the policy is if you are still experiencing weeds/pest call us and we will come back out. That is great but when I compare to the previous companies we used and to our neighbors we never had to make that second call nor do they. Not sure what it is or why it is this way. Unfortunately for us we will probably switch back our service to the companies using prior to. They were slightly cheaper and in our opinion better results. We changed to Abracadabra and Home Run Pest Control because we wanted to test the cost and performance of multiple companies before settling and committing to just one. In summary: Pros > nice techs that show up, show up quarterly, provide many services Cons > pricey, results not comparable to others we have tried, gap in scheduling service when comparing to other companies Thank you,

We had tons of ant beds in our yard and now they are just dirt! They did a great job so we hired them to debug the inside of our home too. They are hard-working, trustworthy people that uphold their warranty. they are VERY QUICK about returning phone calls and texts. would gladly refer them to anyone in need of pest control!

we have employed these people for over 1 1/2 yrs..and everything was great till they hired a new LEADMAN....they had this guy come out to spray for weeds for the 3rd time and he would not spray saying weeds are to close to the garden.....when I talked to the owner he told me that was his leadman (the best he had) really??? then he said yes and it didnt matter if he did wrong or not he was not going to argue with him because he was his best!! really?? i told him to come look for himself and he said it didnt matter he was his best ..... 5 mins later his secretary calls and says he is on his way....i told her no hes not...HES FIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS COMPANY??? I would not recommend this company for lawn service anymore period. there are plenty of others to choose from without having to put up with a owner like him.

I have had Abracadabra work wonders on my yard for years!!! This company also does my parents yard and they both look great! They are always available to answers any questions or concerns I might have. What I like most about this company is that the owner, Johnny, will come to my house if I call and have a concern about anything with my yard. He is very friendly and extremely educated about lawn care. His employees are also very respectful and well trained! I wouldnt trust anyone else with my lawn! THIS IS A GREAT COMPANY!!!
