All, having spoken to Susan we were able to come to a resolution that we both agree was fair and equitable. Having said that I want to call out Susan and the saveatree franshise for the professionalism they handled our interactions with and the tone of the dialogue. I would not hesitate to reach out to them in the spring time if and when I might need follow up services.

The service was completed effectively and in a timely manner. The site was left in good condition.

Easy to schedule consult. Arborist well skilled and explained everything. Crew was efficient and worked with arborist while trimming. Cleaned up everything.

SavATree has been taking care of our landscape for over 20 years. They are reliable and our property, especially our 200 year old white Oak is thriving ! Highly recommend them!

Awful experience. Do not use this company! First- We had to follow up with them ourselves to schedule our service. This was 4 weeks after putting a 50% deposit down. They don t give you a date and say they work week to week. Then they DONT show up the day they re scheduled to come. They didn t even give us date or time options. I stayed home and canceled appointments for nothing! EDIT: I have since been in contact with managers who have mediated and solved all of their errors. John and Pat provided services themselves that were not originally done during SavATrees first visit.

Saveatree was great. They spent time figuring out and explaining what our Oak tree needed. Other companies wanted to cut the tree down. They came up with a plan to save the tree which was our goal. The day of the work had challenges. They were not able to complete the job that day, but were very professional in figuring out the-next part of the plan. I was having multiple issues with the trees and hedges on my property, but Brian came to the rescue when I called SavATree. He spent an hour explaining all the fine details and now I have a more intimate knowledge of whats going on with our plants. For example, he peeled back a leaf on a boxwood to show me the leafminer eggs and told me the pros and cons of the emerald arborvitae. He will also be honest with you as to what you need and dont need so that you dont waste your money. Danielle is very knowledgeable when it comes to taking care of the trees on my property. She comes once a year and keeps my elm trees inoculated and fertilizes the other trees on my property. Danielle even helped save a tree that sits on my property line with my neighbor. Overall, I would highly recommend her and save a tree as they are professional, prompt and extremely knowledgeable.

We had issue with the quality of work, so I called to stop the services and to have the right procedure. After she checked my address, apparently I called at the wrong savatree location (they have like 5 locations in NJ). The woman was so mean on the phone. I tried to get the right number and to have more info but she didnt care and purposely hang up on me. Im so glad that I will not be working with them anymore (if Im able to stop the contract).

Jeff, Rob and LoriAnn were professional, safe, and honest! They carefully pruned some of my trees while protecting my landscaping. Then they checked on what I thought was a problematic tree. Homeowners put trust in those climbing trees to tell an accurate account. My tree was inspected with a probe and came back healthy. It could have come back unhealthy and I would not have known the difference.

Lorianne Brunsch did an amazing job assessing both my trees as well as all my landscaping shrubs. She s clearly very knowledgeable in protecting valuable landscaping against pests and disease. I would recommend. Best.

Lorianne Brunsch was our arborist at SavATree. She consulted for us prior to big landscaping job we were planning. She was recommended by the landscaper we hired. Lorianne knew every tree species and which trees were healthy and which were in some distress. She is incredibly knowledgeable. Impressive! She is responsive, responsible, cares very much about trees and nature. I highly recommend her. She really knows what she is doing and it is a great thing to have someone as trustworthy and knowledgeable as Lorianne. Her techs were professional and did a great job especially when a huge limb came down in a storm just before SavATree was supposed to come to do some contracted work. They came right away and removed the limb, cut the limb up and left it for firewood as we requested. Working with Lorianne has been a pleasure.

I HIGHLY recommend Brian. I called a few companies and no one called me back. A neighbor told me about Brian. I called him and he picked up the phone and said he would be there 9am the next morning to give me a estimate. His estimate was fair. He was on time. He did a fantastic job. Not happy with this company at all. They were suppose to pass by today to check our garden at 10:00 AM. After 10:21 I called them to ask about our appointment. They said they didnt have my number nor my email address. I gave it to them last week on the phone. Then she said our arborist has the flu ... Like how many excuses do you have to make. Not professional and not recommending them!

My experience with SavaATree is that they are always on time, they explain what they are doing and they do not leave the job until you are satisfied with their work. They carefully clean up all debris. They respond to emergencies promptly, at least for regular customers.

Ive had Brian Brunsch of SavATree do the normal pruning and branch/tree removal, but learned over time the wide array of services he can provide. We are fertilizing two of our trees regularly (red maple and dogwood) and both trees are doing much better. Brian is very qualified as an aborist and makes a point to do a walk through yearly. He has helped us avoid having our trees fall down, which Im very glad for, considers the disaster stories I read about regularly in the local press.

John Crittenden, branch Leader in wyckoff, is my hero! My cat climbed up a tree over 50ft, the Oradell police, fire dept and animal control all couldn t get him. John happened to be leading a job down the street and one of the officers asked him if he could help. He got right in his car and came over..after assessing the situation he grabbed his tree climbing gear out of his car and went right up the tree!! Marlo kitty climber on his shoulders and he came down safely. He did it without charging me, so if that doesn t show you a worthwhile trustworthy guy and company, i don t know what does!! Please use this company for your tree issues ( or cat!)

We are first time home buyers and asked Brian and his team to take care of a few things for our new home. SavATree treated our lawn for ticks, our trees for pests, and pruned some of the branches that were touching the house. By the time we moved in all the work was finished. They were great with contactless service, we never even had to see another person. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing any tree work and plan on having a relationship with them for years to come!

I contracted this company for service for multiple trees, shrubs, etc. on my property. We had a miscommunication and I became very frustrated. I called and spoke with Susan the office manger, who took me from a 10 to a 0, within 30 seconds of speaking with her. She was so accommodating, understanding and empathetic! The branch manager came out to see me and make sure the issue was resolved. And all of the work was finished to my complete satisfaction. I firmly believe no one or no company is perfect, but it s how you respond to and resolve an issue that makes someone s experience. Absolute PRO s at this branch! Highly recommend!

I cant rate total at this time, its only been 2 weeks that I called and they took 1/2 payment. There have been so many storms and so many are worse off than me. When job is done I will be back to rate them. They did come highly recommended.

His company, Sav-a-Tree has done several projects for us and we have been more than pleased with the results on all occasions. Tree trimming, support cable installed

I have been using the services of SavATree in Wyckoff, NJ since last Aug. I have more than ½ acre of property with a lot of mature, diverse plantings (trees, shrubs, and ground covers). Many of the plantings were slowly dying due to cumulative deer damage as well as diseases (root rot, fungus) and pests. The curb appeal of this property is due to the beautiful landscaping. Brian and Lorianne are quite knowledgeable and asked that I have patience, but that the plantings would rebound and get healthy again after at least 1-2 seasons of treatments. Due to the expense, I was quite skeptical. Even after one season, however, the property is looking wonderful once again, and I feel the expense was worthwhile.

We been using Brian and team now for a few years. The workmanship is clean and the crews are professional. Brian takes his time and explains the what and why on the trees on the property. Sometimes advising me to leave a tree as it will be a better asset to the property. I value the team work that he brings to the table that my backyard and trees means more to him than making money. I have referred other neighbors that have also had great experiences.

Do not use them! I used them they told me the application they used was going to do wonders for my grass it did nothing. They charged 500.00 and did absolutely nothing, I hired a regular pesticide company and they took care of my tree.

Sav-A-Tree has been a wonderful company for me over the years. They do an excellent job trimming the trees the right way without spikes. Using spikes puts holes in the tree which can introduce disease or insects and cause a problem. Too many companies do this the wrong way. They have been taking care of my many dogwoods 4 years spraying them to prevent fungus. Before that I had lost several and they are costly to replace. Their representatives are very educated and intelligent and explain things well. I am not a big customer but they treat me very well and are always here when I need them. As far as the other review and the charges, they have always called to confirm that theyre coming, and if I do not want the service I let them know when I call back.

SavATree Wyckoff, NJ. - Professional, competent & reasonably priced. Apparently, SavATree is a chain. This review is about SavATree in Wyckoff, NJ. The service experience with SavATree Wyckoff NJ was very good. They gave a fair, and competitive quote, came when they said they would, and got the job done. We had a complicated job: cut down 3 large diseased trees, grind away the stumps, clean up, and trim other trees. They came, did the job, cleaned up, and were done.

I am not happy with this company and this service. Last year they came to spray something on my tree. I asked them that if this was a one time thing and not recurring and they confirmed that it was a one time service. This past week they did service when I wasnt home. I did not receive any notification in the mail and they never called me saying that they are going to be in the area. I came home on Saturday to see that they fertilized my tree. I called SavATree and they said that this is a recurring charge. They told me that we already did the service. They said that they emailed me back iN january. I checked my email and I did not see anything that they were coming in November to do service. This company is very unprofessional. Who sends notifications in Jan by email which has a high chance to get lost or go to junk. This company is scamming people and please do not use them.
