The team at Simply Safer Lawn Care is top-notch. Their work, their reliability, and in a world of online conversations, their one-on-one communication with customers is very welcomed. I had this service last year and noticed on the 2 applications my lawn was dying along with some shrubs? It took quite some time for someone to look at it and I was told because of drought it was like that. . I responded my whole lawn has a sprinkler system which I run every Am. He wanted to sell me another pk to fix problem.I refused to pay for the last 2 applications I had to have my landscaper help me bring lawn back. The people in the office were rude and at one point I was threatened the 100 dollar bill would be sent to collections. Great costumer service don t you think?? I personally would never use this company or recommend this service to anyone. I have paid the collection company there money. Beware Think twice before hiring this company.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND. We have been a long time customer of Simply Safer, have spent THOUSANDS of dollars with them and absolutely cannot recommend after this year. The final straw was having a lawn treatment done on a rainy day - there was overspray that went into many of my flower beds in my yard (they spray using a ride on machine so this can happen) and has killed sections of flowers. Some are dead, others have strips of dead patches down the middle of the flower beds. We spoke with the manager for our area, Joe, who came out and agreed this was due to the treatment, told us this was the worst hes ever seen and said the machine calibration must be off. He told me we take this type of stuff very seriously and will make it right. Fast forward to two weeks later and MULTIPLE phone calls to SS that have all been initiated by us for follow up and the two other people we have spoken with, including someone we were told was an owner have given us the complete run around. There is no one taking this seriously other than Joe who admitted when he saw the damage and took pictures that this was caused by overspray. In past years we have also watched them show up and spray for ticks/mosquitos at our neighbors house by accident. Weve informed the driver, called the company who assured us there is GPS in the vehicle and they still occasionally get it wrong. We also have a note on file to not have service done on a certain day of the week, and several times they try to come out that day anyway. After having this company kill and damage multiple flower beds throughout the property, this was the last straw. Save yourself the hassle and go with someone else. Update 6/23: Here is how Simply Safer responded to our issue and what you should expect if you have a problem Response #1: Joe, who was the only employee who came to our house to look at the damage, did confirm this was caused by overspray, did comment the machine calibration must have been way off, and did tell us the company takes these situations very seriously. He said we would have a call by 3pm that day and we never got one. Response #2: Mike M: After two calls to SS the next day finally got to talk to Mike M. He did not have the pictures Joe took. He had Joe send them while we were on the call. Ending the call he told us to get a quote to replace the plants that were damaged, which we assumed meant they were going to take care of this, so we started that process. Response #3: Mike T: Told us he was a turf guy, not a plant guy but didn t think the pictures he saw had overspray damage and told us they would take a sample for testing, and if it did show chemical damage, then they would apologize and fix the issue . Due to the consistently changing responses from Joe, Mike M and Mike T, it was clear that keeping us as a customer was not a priority for them. We also did not trust the testing process we would have had no idea what samples were submitted for testing, like how we have no idea which pictures they reviewed. Our front lawn has a retaining wall with plants between the retaining wall and driveway. These plants sit BELOW our front yard, so overspray damaged tops and sides of the plants. Because of the location, it would not have been damaged on just one side as described by Mike. We have other plants level with our font lawn and show the damage that Mike describes where the side next to the lawn was damaged but row immediately behind is fine. All of this was told to Joe at our house. We were told by Mike M that SS would refund what we had prepaid for the summer and refund the amount for the last treatment because we were not satisfied with the treatment. They only refunded the prepaid amount and when we asked about that, it was stated that they were not going to refund for the treatment now because we wouldn t let them take samples. The only time we ever received a call initiated by an employee of SS was within minutes of posting the first review Mike called to inform us it needed to be removed immediately.

Their treatments seem to be way. The appearance of my lawn has improved measurably since they took over my account.

Always come out on time and have noticed a massive reduction in pests since starting to use them over other brands.

Had sod and irrigation system installed by someone else 4 yrs ago. Hired Simply Safer for organic weed and pest control. Paid thousands of dollars a year for this service and my lawn had been completely overrun by weeds and looks terrible. It has to be completely re-done. Not sure if Simply Safer products caused the destruction but, at the very least, they didn t help it. Don t waste your money.

We use them for organic lawn maintenance. They always show up on time and perform services as expected. Our lawn is looking good so far this year!

Well they were recommended from a friend ,when new lawn was put in.But now the lawn is all dead and all these white tiny pedals all over the place. But during year when grass started to die call Chris the owner right away . He had me send him pictures and said it was fungus . So they come and half sprayed twice . I say half sprayed because watched the job on my house camera . And it was not evenly sprayed or even whole yard was like a kid did it. Then when did summer fertilizer same thing . I complained to Chris again and he did nothing . Also my yard still has mushrooms growing and he said would take time All my yard is doing and continuing to die . Dont feel they know what there doing and there organic treatments dont work .is a waste of money so dont use them.

I have been using Simply Safer for 3 years. My lawn quality has gone down steadily since using the service. I am retired now and will attend to Mt own lawn care. There was no effort to treat problem weed areas. Service tech comes to house drives around the yard and loads his machine up and drives off. They dont reach areas of lawn near walkway or shrubs because that would require walking. Too bad because I really wanted to use a safe solution.

We use Simply Safer for ticks, mosquitoes, and to keep our lawn looking nice, while also keeping our family safe. Weve had them for many years and have been very happy with the service.

Not on time, requested services are received more than a week later. Always trying to force people into their fixed schedule, no flexibility or custom treatments offered. All they do is fertilize, no weed control.

I reached out to the so called experts and after having lawn doctors with green thumbs who told me my lawn would be truly green by the seasons end failed complete their promises I reached out to Simply Safer lawns. We have not had any problems with gypsy moths since the treatment through Simply Safer. We were so pleased with their customer service and quality of work that we transitioned our mostquito and tick control as well.

It has been about a year now since I first hired Simply Safer. The number of weeds in my lawn has drastically decreased this year. Last year they aerated and over seeded the lawn and it looks much better than it has in the past. The technicians who come to the house and professional, friendly, and do their jobs very well. We have received tick and mosquito service from Simply Safer for two years now. It has made a huge difference, our cats now very rarely come in with ticks (they do leave the yard) and it is a rare occurrence to see a mosquito on our deck. Highly recommend the service, highly recommend the company.

I used them for hydroseeding in the spring but unfortunately the weeds took over. So I thought the fall should be a great time to overseed. The technician was supposed to aerate and seed. Mind you, I decided to overseed to thicking up the lawn after I have killed the weeds. When he finished his job, I realized that just about 70 percent of my property was aerated and seeded. I called him out on it and had to literally walk around the lawn to point out huge patches that wasnt aerated or seeded. It was a wast of money. Parts of lawn has new growth, the other half is bare.I tried to call another company to come finish the job but they couldnt because they are booked! Smh. One star for this Job. 5 star for the the hydroseeding job ( the weeds wasnt their fault)

I was very skeptical of using Simply Safer. The estimate I got was much lower than others I had received. Like a lot lower. I ended up using them as I really just couldn t get a hold of anyone else. Simply Safer came and seeded my back yard and front yard....I thought they were only doing the front for that price. Long story short, it s working. My yard looks exponentially better just a month later. I would definitely recommend giving them a shot.

I had them spray for mosquitoes . We spent a lot of time outside this summer and not once did I ever see a mosquito after their second time here. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. I can t imagine ever using anyone else again!

We used SSLC extensively this year to treat our lawns. I m proud to say that they are vibrant and green and thriving. That wasn t the case the last two years. We also use them for mosquito and tick control. With better combinations that are safer for the environment and our family, I highly recommend Simply Safer Lawn Care.

Very friendly staff and great service! Its so nice to have an organic tick alternative. Last year was our first year of the tick control program, and after service began, we never saw another tick! Reasonable prices and good payment program if youre on a budget.

Careless application of weed control nearly killed my plants along the edge of lawn. They said they were going to come out and take a look at them, but I never heard anything further. Grass is doing a bit better but still a ton of weeds and insects in the lawn. They tell you on this form how to care for your lawn better but its not really useful advice. I was told to raise my mower deck, but I have a ride-on that is already set at its highest. They also said to water more, but not how much nor how often to do so. After 2 years with them, the grass is only marginally better. I also have fertilizer in my sprinkler system so I dont know if I can attribute the whole improvement to them or it. We will be looking into another company for next season. Update 9 sep 2017: Since I posted the review, the company has been extremely responsive. Actually the most communication since I started with them two years ago. We will see how they do going forward and will update the review further. Update 27 May 2018: Grass is nice and green this spring. However, there is still a ton of weeds.The backyard is looking a lot better considering it was mostly dirt 3 years ago. Wish I could figure out how to attach a photo to this review.

Had them out to hydro-seed in late October 2017. They told me to call them in May if I had any bare spots and theyd come by and re-apply. Started calling in mid May. Spoke to them 3 times with no action. Now they say I didnt buy a lawn maintenance program so Im out of luck. They were cost effective to work with Ill give them that but definitely lack in follow through. The lawns a bit thin. I guess its back to Home Depot for seed and soil!

We got our yard hydroseeded and had multiple issues with this company - will never use them again. First, we were overcharged by $45, secondly our grass grew in very thin/patchy when it was supposed to be thick, another issue we had was we asked for it to be hydroseeded again and it took them multiple weeks for them come back out and then ultimately they just threw down seed and wouldnt hydroseed again. The company came out quickly to give us an estimate but after that they wouldnt return calls and were terrible communicators. Its too bad because it seemed like a good concept.

Organic, non-toxic applications very important to us because we have two dogs. Simply Safer treatments have kept ticks and mosquitoes at bay and helped protect our pups--and the ground water--from toxicity. Cant get better than that!

Great organic lawn care company, reasonably priced. Flexible about adding services mid-season and they offer discounts for paying in full at the start of the season. I love that you dont have to keep kids and pets off the lawn for days following a treatment and the mosquito/tick/flea spray wont kill beneficial insects (bees, spiders).

The services they provide work as advertised, they have been treating my yard for 3 years now. Very effective at tick elimination. The only reason they are not 5 stars is because to start the season I feel they are a little slow to start the program.

Our lawn was decimated by poor care and drought. We had large dirt patches, small dirt patches, and uneven growth all around. It was unpleasant, to say the least. We honestly didnt think fertilizer alone would help, and we were sure it would take a couple years to fix, but it didnt. We noticed an immediate difference within a few months. Our lawn looks amazing now. Honestly, I put off using fertilizer because I didnt know there were completely organic companies. I love the crickets, frogs, birds, and other wildlife in our yard, and I didnt want to disrupt the natural habitat just for our lawn. Im happy to say the crickets are loud in the best of ways every evening. We love our yard. We get compliments on it all the time. I highly recommend this company. It works and doesnt destroy the environment. We did not use the weed killer and we still had great results, the weed killer will kill the crickets, et al, so be careful of that.

Just started with SS this year. Their pricing seemed reasonable and they gave good choices for how much or little you wanted done. So far, especially with the frequent rainfall, our first year is looking great. Had a lawn of clover that is getting forced out by new grass as promised. Very pleased and intend to continue with them.

We have used Simply Safer Premium Lawn Care for several years now. We are extremely pleased with their service. They always call a day ahead so we can be sure our dog is not in the yard. They always leave a notice as to what they did to the lawn that day, which we find helpful. This year we added the tick and mosquito control and have been please with that service as well. I would highly recommend them.

Great service! Their use of less toxic solutions to mosquitos/ticks is what drew us to them, but their service is great too. They always call and tell us when they are coming, and change based on our schedule. And most importantly, we dont have any more tick issues and are mosquitos are noticeably less.

The most over priced lawn care in the world. I know where they buy there so called organic product . They charge about 500 pct INCREASE what it cost them . Every lawn they treat has LOADS of crabgrass and weeds . Dont let these guys lie to you there prices are no where CLOSE to being competitive .You can see by the response truth hurts . Hope it saves some hard working people some money . I have never seen a lawn charged under a 100.00 for one APP. Have a super day . I use Simply Safer Lawn Care AND Simply Safer Snow Removal and this company could not be any nicer. They are efficient, neat, and very informative, especially about snow storms and possible accumulations. They are constantly in email contact with their customers about when they might be out to plow, if de-icing is recommended, etc. They answer all questions via email very quickly. I would recommend their lawn care and snow removal services to anyone. Their prices are clearly set out and very reasonable for the quality of work they perform.

When I first moved into my house my dog would have a tick or two on her every day Even with her tick and flea treatments she got monthly! I was nervous about my son playing in our backyard as a result. I decided on their natural tick and mosquito spray and their chemical pesticide every couple of months (I think was the frequency). After safer Lawns started spraying I never had another issue with ticks! And, the mosquitoes are practically non existent in my yard that is next to a small pond and wooded area. Also, my lawn has done a complete turnaround with their lawn services as well. I am looking forward to my lawn this year after the awesome job they did last year! I highly recommend both their lawn services and tick and mosquito spraying.

Beware!!! Had the lawn service for 3 years and had continuous problems with weeds and crab grass. They promise ongoing weed treatment services if you call about problems but they dont follow through.

Need more communication between you and the customer. Very hard to get hold of anyone in the office to ask questions about what type of treatment is being done and he next day. Even getting hold of the office to pay your bill is difficult.

Wonderful experience with this company! This is the first summer we have decided to go with an organic tick/flea spray for the lawn to help protect our dogs from these nasty critters. When other companies place you on hold, fail to call you back, or subject you to a long waiting list, this company attends to their customers promptly and professionally. They are reliable, helpful, and always answer the phone if you have questions. We are very pleased with this company. I would highly recommend them.

I have used their services for the past 3+ years, and by August, my lawn looks horrible. Their solution is always to reseed in September. I have done that and I also reseed and aerate in the spring, yet I still have excessive bare spots by the end of July/early August. If they are lawn specialists they should be able to diagnose the problem. Reseeding isnt working!

Great Service and Products, Ive used Simply Safer for a number of years for a variety of reasons. Five years ago, they revamped my lawn which was in shambles from previous home owner. Now I use them for organic tick and mosquito treatments which is a highly safe and effective treatment. Most recently after all the rain the treatment wore off a bit quicker than expected. Mike provided an option to use a gentle pesticide to combat the infestation of mosquitoes. The treatment worked great and we have our yard back. Every September, I use SS for core aeration and over seeding. Needless to say my lawn is a green carpet. They have great prices, are willing to work with you to make you happy.

I started with a newly hydro-seeded lawn that grew a ton of weeds and very little grass. I had Simply Safer Premium Lawn Care treat my lawn and my the fall I had all grass and no weeds. They provided fantastic results! I highly recommend them.

Awful...not my choice of comany was chosen by our landscaper. Hydroseeded out newly leveled yard. Looked awful still looks awful. Spoke with one of the owners who was rude and kept telling me to just wait and Ill see they stand by their work! Well new fertilizer, grubbed and overseeded 2x and they havent shown up again since. Thanks for my new spotty weed garden! Worst expierence ever.
