To follow up on your response to my review ... You had access to all rooms, rooms were also fully prepped. If your technicians felt the property wasnt properly prepped, why not say this during the day of treatment .... and even after treatment???? This would be the way to properly satisfy customers. Nothing was said about any access to rooms or how the property was prepped until my review was posted. No additional visits have been made. One is scheduled for 10/14/24. At that time, shall the property be free of roaches, I will consider updating my review.

VERY disappointed with todays service. Zack was 45 minutes late. He did not have traps for outside and did not fill cracks in foundation with powdery chemical that kills mice in 24 hours! We would like Bob Ford to come back personally and take care of our problem.

We called Fords Hometown Services for tick and mosquito and ant treatment. Two technicians came to the house on two separate days and treated the exterior/interior of our house for ants and spiders and the outside property perimeter for ticks and mosquitoes . They were both professional and explained what they would be doing and what we could expect from the service. They told us to call if we had additional questions or if we continued to have issues. Matt was very knowledgeable and particularly friendly. We just moved to Oakham and he offered several suggestions for outside activities in the area and local eateries. Peter was outside so we didnt have much of a conversation with him but he was courteous and knowledgeable too. Cody was our sales rep and he was very helpful, explaining our options for service and comparing the costs. I would highly recommend Fords Hometown Services! The tick and mosquito service was done today and we can already notice the difference on the deck! Great job, guys! Thanks

I had left a previous negative review stating that I was charged a service fee that was not explained to me beforehand. The owner made a personal home visit to my home telling me that by listening to the recording the information that I needed to know regarding the inspection fee was not told to me/was not made clear on the phone prior to the visit. Our conversations were recorded and the owner found out that the information was not made clear to me prior of the inspection, therefore a miscommunication took place. So I received a full refund. I very much appreciate the owner taking the time to address this very much. So please disregard any negative review I issued earlier for they made it right.

Fords usually (not always) but overall does an excellent job. Occasionally they send someone very young who does not seem well motivated, so its ideal if youre home when they come to talk with their technician and evaluate. Their seasoned techs are excellent, just not always available.

No more mice!

Zak was great! Hes very personable, professional and answered any question I had. He didnt judge any clutter in my home and went about his job as if the state of my house was not an issue. I really appreciated that. If I have a pest problem again, I would request Zak.

When I called to ask about service the sales man was rude, basically telling me I didnt know what I was talking about. After getting past that part of the experience, I set up an appointment. After confirming the appointment with the sales man, I had to make sure someone was at the house. They waited around for over an hour after they were supposed to be there. I called and asked where they were and they said they could no longer make it. Never let me know. Will not be using this company.

My Spring fertilizer service was done before my yard was cleaned up, Fords was notified to delay the service, but did it anyway. Not a good way to start off the season.

This company is very responsive and flexible. I m looking forward to seeing how the grass is later in the year!

Brandon was truly exceptional in every regard in dealing with the wasp and hornet nests on our property. He was personable, informative, considerate, and impressively thorough in his evaluation and treatment of the problem. Brandon is absolutely a 5 star player for this company; I cannot recommend him highly enough, and will definitely request him again should we have need of pest control in the future.

Robert was very thorough in both interior and exterior pest prevention services.

Brandon was diligent and meticulously found the source of a bee swarm that I incurred recently. He was also through to repeat the application of agents in the affected area so that the bees would not return. Lastly Brandon was very thorough in his explanation of the bees behavior, the agents used and when it would be safe for me to enter the affected area again. I am grateful that he came by.

Re-baited mouse traps and added new traps. Arrived early, very courteous and professional, provided tips for the future. GREAT company, ALWAYS great service.

Recently had a visitation from the Yellow Jacket bees. Their intrusion into the house warranted a quick and deadly response. Since their nest was in the exterior wall of the house and had found a way into the living area I knew there was only one company to call....Fords Hometown!! A quick visit to the office and within no time at all Robert was knocking on my door ready to do battle with these little demons. Roberts experience, professionalism and knowledge of the pests and the product to be used did the trick. Within hours the the colony of bees was visiting the great nest in the sky, never to be seen again. Excellent job!

Matt Rousseau did a thorough search of our house to Id entry points by the flying squirrel we found in our bathroom. Matt was friendly and professional, a great combination.

I hired Ford Hometown Services for mice control since I found droppings in the house. After they showed up twice in my house and did their due diligence nothing controlled the mice situation at all. After two visits in the contract I called again to let them know that I see no change whatsoever, and then i was told that almost 400 dollars i paid for were only for two visits and if i wanted them to come back need to pay an extra 100 dollars to do the same exact job again. Doesn t sound right as when you call them at first they say its a guaranteed formula that works and a warranty of three months. Something doesn t add up here, 3 months or two showing ?. I wish i could have used this money for products myself as i could have probably done better.

I cannot say enough good things about Fords. We had an indoor pest problem about a year ago. We haven t since their services. In addition I purchased an outdoor lawn pest control package. When I was considering some thing more that cost more money, the customer service person discouraged me. They said it wasn t worth it because our home was the type that it would be a waste of money. I don t know many businesses who would discourage purchasing something from them. This shows me that they truly care about the customer.

Robert went above and beyond to perform his work thoroughly and took the time to explain to me exactly how everything worked. I also work in the trades/ industry that provides services to homeowners and it is becoming rare to come across someone so attentive, polite and hard working as Robert. You could practically see the pests running in the opposite direction as he stepped out of the truck onto my drive way!

Your service was exceptional. Robert did an amazing job - very personalized, detailed and professional. He clearly new what he was doing. Instead of the usual rhetoric you hear from other companies, big and small, such as Oh, you live in New England and near the woods - you can t get rid of pests, but call us for our next service when you notice more of them , Robert examined the house with expertise and made sure to find and block any entrance points for any pests. Plus, treated the outside perimeter with care so as not to affect our herb garden. Just a few days later, we already not noticing any ants inside. And all of that with a very positive and pleasant demeanor. I rate your service as exceptional! We will definitely keep your business.

This year we had a very inefficient treatment. Mosquitoes are everywhere. Contacted customer service and they don t want to reapply treatment. According to one of their emails they stated that they will do it again, but now they don t want to do it until the third application is applied. Last technician who did treatment did a poor job applying on the areas that were agreed on the contract, but company denied because gps time showed that he stayed enough time doing the treatment. If he would have done the treatment right we wouldn t have the amount of mosquitoes we have on our yard today. Bad customer service.

I had 2 wasps nests nearby my new screen house and they would get in the screen house in bunches and attack me, unfortunately they didnt sting me. Called Fords Home Town Servises and Eddie took care of the issue. I would recommend Fords Hometown Services for any pest control issues, Eddie explained everything he was going to do before he started the treatment by spraying the 2 nests and nearby areas and so far I have not seen anymore wasps flying around. Eddie did an excellent job.

I have been using Fords since they arrived in Worcester, which is probably 10 years ago. The office calls in advance. The technicians are friendly and professional. Steve is the guy who usually comes here, and he could not be better. When I have a problem, like a bees nest, they come right away and take care of it. Jesse came today and he was professional and extremely nice.

Several years ago, I had this company come to out and help with a big, long time mouse problem in my old house. Jerry, was the technicians name I believe, really nice guy. He was very professional, polite and quick. The reason for my review is that it s been several years now and I have not even seen one mouse nor droppings anywhere. Not sure what Jerry did but it sure did work well. I would definitely recommend this group of professionals.

We worked with Nick and his team to safely eradicate a colony of bats that had been in our home for likely decades, but previous owners did not remove them. Efficient, friendly and very reasonable price-wise for the amount of painstaking work they did to plug up holes all around the roof (we live in a Queen Anne Victorian, complete with a turret) and around the entire house. I called another time for a wasp removal estimate and was provided a general figure on the spot. I like that its a family-owned business and the fact that the employees educate customers on the phone and dont try to sell you services you dont need. Definitely recommend. Bob is also so responsive when Ive called and left messages.

Had an inspection performed for bat exclusion and roof sealing. Inspector was very professional and had great knowledge of the subject.
