We had a major project for Green Ackors Landscaping & Irrigation and they knocked it out of the park. They built a large retaining wall around our pool and helped us with the design and implementation of landscaping around our house. In addition, they came back and tackled a large project of tree trimming, brush clearing, bed design, chipping, and mowing over several acres of our property. The work was incredible, the pricing very competitive and the service and support was amazing. They will exceed your expectations and will deliver on-time and on-budget. Working with them was an outstanding experience.

The HOT dog Park in Waco Texas is not run by the city. It functions strictly from donations and volunteers. This company stepped up and mowed the 3 1/2 acre park at no charge. they did a great job, and we don t have to worry about having enough funds to cut the grass

Green Ackors did an amazing job on designing our landscaping. We have our own piece of paradise. They also do a great job on our weekly yard maintenance service.

We hired Green Ackors to design and install our backyard landscaping, replacing old shrubs with mulch along with installing new pavers, rock, stone walkway and over seventy plants. Although everyone is very friendly, their service is subpar. Starting from the multiple departments not communicating details of the order and install with each other, to where each plant is suppose to go. As well as plants being planted on top of each other causing some to die and some to be lost underneath the spread of another. The biggest issue was they do not listen to the client. We told them repeatedly about needing to take care of the Virginia Creeper and Morning Glories that keep coming back prior to planting anything new. Not only did they not address this up front, they just put everything on top, not even cutting out sod where needed for the expansion of one of the flower beds and the paver walkway. As a result, the beds have been full of grass and morning glories. While they have come to spot spray and pull grass in the affected areas, it persists and does not look like a professional job. They told us they would check our irrigation to make sure everything would get watered appropriately which they never did. Every time we would reach out to them with questions or concerns it would take literally weeks before hearing back and that would be after multiple attempts to reach them. This project started the end of May 2022 and as of today August 21, 2022 there are still outstanding items. Our only hope at this point is that once this heatwave passes, they will remember to come back and replace the plants that died after install.

He was reliable and made me feel very comfortable about the process. I m so glad that someone referred me to Green Ackors because I ve never been happier. I will definitely use them for any future irrigation repairs.

I didnt get a chance to use them. When I called to get a quote I was given an excuse about how busy they are because of the freeze so my quote would be a week out. Which I was totally fine with, but they sounded very busy and had a lot going on, so I found a smaller company that wasnt so busy that could use the work.

Brent and his crew did a great job designing and installing my garden, flowerbeds, pergola, and flagstone patio. It s like being in my own oasis! Great experience working with Brent and his team.

Green Ackors landscape company custom built a fence to hide my pool equipment from view, dug up the grass inside the fenced area filled it with gravel. They did an outstanding job and it looks fantastic!

Green Ackors installed a complete new front yard landscape for us this week. Their preliminary planning was excellent! We discussed options for plant and tree selections, design and the necessary preparations needed. The team was prompt, hard working, courteous, a complete joy to work with as well as having a meticulous clean-up routine throughout and after the installation. During the process they were very creative and put forth multiple options for our consideration. We cannot recommend Green Ackors enough! Since the completion we have had numerous neighbors stop and comment on the beautiful transformation. Their customer service is admirable and they made the experience truly enjoyable!

Needed a focal point in my back yard. Brett came and we talked about what I liked and didn t like. The team came in and did an excellent job in clearing out my feeble attempt and putting in a great focal point with plants I like. When I had a small problem a few months later,Brett got on it the same day I called. Great company and very capable and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

We had quite a bit of work done by Brent and his team. They fixed our sprinklers and water leak in a timely fashion. We had them redo our landscaping completely and they did an amazing job. Brent s creativity and vision far exceeded what we could have hoped for. We absolutely love it. The weekly yard work always looks fantastic as well. Would definitely recommend them whether you need quality yard work or any landscaping needs.

Im so appreciative and impressed with the work the Green Ackors crew did on my future vegetable/flower garden. The cost of the project was reasonable and completed in a timely manner. Great service very polite and right to the job and gets it done

Brent seemed interested in working with us after we walked into the business and discussed our needs in early Nov. My husband made an appt with Michael. Michael did not show up OR call to reschedule or explain his absence. I still have his voice mail confirming the appt. Nor did he return my husbands call when he did not show. And NO ONE has called since to explain or apologize. My single complaint is this rude, unprofessional lack of contact. If a company rep drove by our property and it was decided that we are obviously not wealthy enough or are otherwise unworthy of your services, GOOD MANNERS AND PROFESIONALISM, if nothing else, dictate a phone call... even if to lie and say youre unable to meet, somebody died, youre suddenly too busy to work with us, the business has closed, SOMETHING. As of Jan 18, we have heard nothing from you about your no-show on Nov 3rd OR 4th.

I have never had better service. Ociel is my favorite -- he will do anything and everything you ask...and SO POLITE!!! Ive been a customer for over six years. If you need lawn care, landscaping or irrigation, Call Brent. He will take excellent care of you.

He not only provided information about our inquiry of dead spots within St. Augustine, but even gave us some helpful tips/tricks around our landscaping for better maintenance. Quick turn around time, on time and competitive pricing against the top players around Waco/Woodway. Highly recommend!

Green Ackors helped us with a detailed plan and installation when we built our home. They have since installed outdoor lighting. These guys care about doing an excellent job. Our yard is the envy of the neighborhood.

I am writing this review with mixed emotions. I will give them 5 stars for their quality of work, but 0 stars for honesty and integrity !!! While Green Ackors has always done quality landscaping and sprinkler system work for me, my last experience with them was very disappointing and makes me question if I was not ripped off in the past? The latest experience: My sprinkler system stopped working and my Control Module error said it was a faulty Master Valve Solenoid. I called Brent and he said he would have someone at my house at 8:00am the next morning. Wow, that was quick service but it was not an emergency! The next morning two guys from Green Ackors arrived about 5 minutes early and said they were there to fix the leak in my sprinkler system??? I said I did not have a leak and explained the problem I was having with the Master Valve. Within a few minutes the faulty Master Valve solenoid was replaced. They also discovered that none of the sprinklers on zone-4 were working and they brought out their Wire Detector and quickly found a broken underground wire for zone-4, made the necessary repairs and the system was running fine. They departed 1 hour and 15 minutes after they arrived, and I was very impressed with their quick service and expertise. Now comes the bad part. About a week later I got and email with my bill from Brent just as I was boarding a plane at JFK airport in New York for a flight to Italy. The bill was for over $450 and that included $82 for parts and $337 in labor, plus taxes. I told Brent I as concerned about the exorbitant charges and would contact him to discuss these charges as soon as I got back home. He wrote back defending the charges based solely on his quality of work, He also told me of the prices I was charged for parts, which I felt was more than twice the price of what I would pay for retail prices. He then indicated that the Parts prices included a $50 flat-rate $50 charge for using Wire Detector?? Why is that listed as Parts?? I agree that the prices I was charged for the actual parts was reasonable, but was not aware that $50 Wire Detector Usage was included in the price for Parts and why I even questioned the parts prices in the first place. The real problem I had was with the Labor charges. His men where onsite for 1 hour and 15 minutes. I made a mental note of the time when they arrived and when they left, but I also have irrefutable evidence. When I informed Brent that I disagreed with the 2.25 hours of labor he said he would check his records. I was shocked when he came back and said that his GPS system indicated that his men were onsite for 2.27 hours and then tried to claim they were on Overtime...so he could have charged me more??? I told him that he picked the time and overtime was not mentioned, and regarding his men being at my house for 2.27 hours that either his GPS data was lying or he was lying !! I never told Brent that I have motion detecting security cameras at my house that automatically records short 15 second, time-stamped videos when any motion is detected around my houseand can prove exactly when his men arrived and departed my house. I refused to pay for an additional $150 for an extra hour of labor that I can prove that his men were not working at my location and that his GPS data is a total BS lie ! Brent eventually agreed to accept my payment for the Parts, and use of the Wire Detector, but deducted 1 hour of labor ($150) and a $22 reduction in taxes for the overcharges. If you do business with Green Ackors, get hourly rates in advance and better still, get a written flat-rate quote for the job when possible. Also be sure to note the exact times they arrive and depart your location and ask them to sigh the timesheet as proof. I am not sure if Brent is dishonest, getting senile in his older age, or simply out of touch with what is really going on in his company.
