Green Oasis in Woodbury

We worked with Ben Graf on our patio and from start to finish he was a consumate professional who plainly enjoyed his work. The installation crew lead by Victor plainly adhered to best practices and were courteous and respectful of our space as they transformed it.

My wife and I finally decided to go with an overhaul for our two small decks in Stillwater. After 24 years of stripping and re-staining, we decided to go with TimberTech composite decking. We could not be happier with our choice of Green Oasis out of River Falls, WI as our installers. Ben was so helpful with making our product color choice, which can be daunting. The install crew were so professional, as well as being perfectionists. Both of our decks turned out fabulous! Were looking forward to working with Ben next year for our patio overhaul.

Were very happy with the work Green Oasis did for us. The two workers showed up on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up afterwards. I will definitely use them for future jobs.

I love the design Ben created for the hardscape work in front of our home including a paver walkway. He took the time to capture the look we were going for and worked within our budget. Quin, the onsite foreman, oversaw the project and the team delivered to the design and our satisfaction. They completed the job in a timely fashion as well. There was great communication throughout the life of the project. I have received tons of compliments. I will definitely be using Green Oasis again for any future needs!

Our experience with Ben, Austin, and their teams was fantastic. Extremely responsive, very thorough, and really collaborative. Bens eye for coming up with a design that fit our yard and our budget - with very unique attributes and flow, was so impressive. We truly had very little feedback on his design! This is my second season using Green Oasis. My grass has never looked better in the 10 years we have lived in this house! Weeds gone, grass growing like crazy, and I feel like we have found the lawn company for us! I would highly recommend.

Initially called Green Oasis 5/13 and spoke with them for 10 minutes to schedule a lawn analysis and for a weed/fertilizer spray quote. He said he would call back within an hour but received nothing. I called back on 5/17 and again tried to schedule the same service. She said we would receive an email from a service tech which we did on 5/23. Email stated they would stop by 5/24(no time stated) - 5/24 came and went without any contact whatsoever. Have not heard a single thing since the 5/23 email. UPDATE: Received an email 6/1 saying theyll stop by 6/2. Tech actually showed up and was very pleasant and helpful.

After explaining to the Technicians about what areas needed to have the water spray, they did a great job changing the spray heads and adjusting the flow, pattern and direction of the nozzles. VERY reasonable cost done in a most professional way. We use Green Oasis for a number of lawn care services and are very much pleased with the quality of their work. We highly recommend Green Oasis to our friends, neighbors and family members.

Green Oasis project review a year after completion. I have a lot to say here and I hope I remember everything and that I m clear. This review cover three projects landscaping the front of the property, a deck and a pad for a shed. We met these folks at one of those home and garden shows. Let me say that we d been looking for someone to do landscaping for us for a few years. It s a hard decision. It s so difficult to know if the landscaper really understands what you re looking for. Ben came out and we spent a couple hours together going over what we wanted, the problems the property presented and budget. This meeting took place before the snow was gone. In the end his proposal was significantly over budget BUT the design was so good and presentation exceptional! We had other plans and pricing but GO was clearly the best. We had a deck that was 20 some years old. The surface boards and railing were in horrible shape but the base structure was fine. Green Oasis did a very good job on the deck. It looks super and everything is solid. We opted for a composite deck material. A year in we re really mostly pleased with it. It looks every bit as nice as when completed. If we had it to do over I d have asked not to have risers or side stringers put on the stairs. These items really trap all twigs, helicopter seeds etc. making the stairs looks dirty all the time and more difficult to clean. In fact dirt and debris looks worse in general than on our weathered red wood. (A darker color may have help?) The two individuals doing the work were pleasant and easy to work with. My only complaint was that the yard was dirtier that I expected where they did the cutting. I guess I thought that would be cleaned up more. No big deal. Pricewise it was in the neighborhood of most of the bids we had done. Near the middle of the pack as I remember it. There s not much to say about the shed pad. The area was cleaned (it had been a garden and then a compost heap) dug out and class 5 added and compacted. Nice job. The land and hard scape was done on time and on budget. We had a couple of problems. The entrance area was holding water, it wasn t running off. We complained. Took some pics and sent them in. Green Oasis came back and redid that area. Just fine now. Likewise a couple of the plants were not as specified and midsummer summer they were replaced. The only thing I d do differently is pay for more mature plants, those beginners and still tiny. The Green Oasis people are professional and do excllent work.

We are thrilled with the beautiful landscaping Green Oasis created in our yard!! The design was very well thought out and compliments our house and existing plants and trees perfectly. Ben, the GO representative we worked with was great - he was VERY prompt in getting back to us (usually within an hour!!), and his crew who did the work were awesome too! They worked very hard and their attention to detail was impressive! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Green Oasis for any landscaping project you have - it s an AMAZING COMPANY!!!!

We used Green Oasis to do landscaping and build a patio for our previous house. When we moved, we liked them so much we used them again to build a bigger patio for our new home. Our designer had throughtful recommendations and we ended up with a design that exceeded our expectations. The workmen who came out were courteous, prompt and professional, cleaning up every day during the project. Our new patio is not just beautiful, it is also very functional and well made. We are so pleased with our patio that we recommended Green Oasis to all of our neighbors.

Ben Graf of Green Oasis did an outstanding job understanding our requirements and turning them into a plan that addressed our needs. He was quick to respond to questions and addressed concerns in a timely manner. The project exceeded our expectations.

We hired Green Oasis to design and install a back yard patio and replace multiple front yard landscaping plants. The finished patio project is now beautiful; however the process getting there was clunky and required patience. As the patio was built, the crew damaged the sod by driving a bobcat over it. Then the new landscaping was seeded with a different grass variety than the original sod and stood out. Green Oasis chose to fix it by removing the wrong grass and damaged sod. They then replanted both areas with matching sod plus leveling out the furrows. In life, mistakes happen and Green Oasis acknowledged this and did what was needed, to make it right. I would hire them again. Finally, the designer Ben Graf was correct; sealing the pavers the year after install enhanced the patio even more.

Very happy as a first year customer. Lawn is looking great. They waved me off an expensive treatment and came up with a good plan for the next year. Highly recommend.

We had weeds taking over our lawn so we called Green Oasis after admiring a neighbors beautiful lawn and being referred by them. We now have a golf course like lawn and have never been happier. The service techs are professional and polite. They are a ten in all areas. Love them!!

I hired Green Oasis to put in my deck, pergola with patio block and landscaping. It turned out absolutely gorgeous! The initial consultation included a 3D rendering of what the finished product would look like and a detailed itemized list of costs. They worked with me to get the things I wanted within my budget. The team was very responsive throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend!

Working with Ben (Sales) and the rest of the team at Green Oasis was an absolute pleasure. We met with Ben in 2020 and detailed out the idea of what we were looking for (back patio with a covered porch option). Ben came back with drawings and we loved them. We tweaked some things here and there to appease the HOA and to meet our needs and what was delivered was above and beyond what we expected. I just couldnt be happier with the craftsmanship of the structure, the steps, the pavers. The process they go through in laying the pavers was intense and you could tell that they were there to stay. The two crews that came out (building then landscaping and patio) were very professional. At one point someone noticed an error with the lighting switch and they quickly fixed it and made it even better by adding an additional outlet that was not planned. I now use this outlet with my smoker rather than having to run an extension cord across the patio. There were some small issues with pavers and other small cosmetic things along with a dead plant or two and Green Oasis was quick to fix all of these items at no cost to us. They also ended up burying our sub pump drain while they were out, this was an add on but I felt like the price was very reasonable. Green Oasis is not the cheapest option but you get what you pay for and that is high quality. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to friends and family and if I was doing this again Id go with them. Lead designer Ben Graf is punctual, thorough & easy to work with. All features your looking for in a landscape designer. There were many challenges with COVID. A shortage of materials & staff required a few adjustments. The boulder walls & steps blend with the lakeside and all drainage issues are finally resolved. Hope to continue phase II with the Green Oasis Team.

We contracted with Green Oasis to do 2 landscaping projects around our lake home. We are thrilled with the results. Both projects were completed on time and as designed (their design service was great as well). Both crews were excellent - on time, cleaned up every day, etc.

We had many bids for our deck, patio and screen house. We chose Green Oasis and know we could not have made a better choice. Ben was the only designer who could figure out a way to place our stairs so they did not block the view from our screen house. His ideas were always creative and addressed our needs and requests exactly. Ben even helped us figure out ways to reduce our cost, which is not something most contractors would do! When seeding the lawn to repair damage didnt work well, Ben had sod laid at no cost to us. All of the workers who came to our house were on time, did what they said they would do, and were pleasant to have around. I have recommended Ben and Green Oasis to neighbors and friends and would do so to anyone looking for a fairly priced dependable landscaper/builder.

Green Oasis offers a variety of services and they excel in all of them!

I ended 7 year relationship with this company this past December, 2019. Ive had them for a long time and used them for year round service. My complaint with them is the Snow blowing. Last winter, yes was harsh, but I was gouged. Nearly $900 for two months of snow plowing. Monthly year round fee, plus EVENT plowing and then salt. It continued into this years plowing. The one EVENT they took care of for me was the first snow in of 2019-2020 winter and they charged me 165.00 on top of the monthly fee of $172.00 and they only came once. I cancelled my contract. I talked to many others in the field and this is definitely excessive charging. I am residential in the town of Hudson. Not a fan of Green Oasis overcharging for EVENT snow fall.

Everyone is so friendly, helpful, and professional. Plus they really pay attention to detail. They reminded me I had seeded the lawn last fall and they would not put crabgrass treatment on in the spring. Their website is so convenient, too!

hired Ben and crew to replace a retaining wall on the side and wrapping to the back of the house. they did a great job, on time all the crew involved were great and kept me in the loop as the project went on. since on the side of the house even kept our neighbors appraised of the situation and replace sod in their yard as well after the project was done.

Rob always takes the time to make sure the system is running appropriately and doesnt hesitate to make any tweaks if needed. We have had multiple companies and crews working on our house, both inside and out, over the last 3.5 years. Far and away, Green Oasis and their crew on our project were the most impressive by far and the biggest reason we will be working with G.O. for all our landscaping projects moving forward. They were polite, professional, and understanding of the needs we had around our son napping near their worksite, respectful of our neighbors and neighborhood, and just so pleasant to have at our home. Then to add on top, they did incredible work and made our backward look even better than the pictures. We were proud to have them here and never worried once about how they would be with our neighbors. I honestly cannot say enough about those guys and I really hope they get the credit and recognition they deserve for the work they did at our house. We were beyond impressed by their skills, work ethic, and professionalism. Their design lead, Ben, was also a pleasure to work with. He worked so diligently redesigning and updating the proposals and working with us.

We had a large project completed at our home last summer. Ben worked closely with us on the design and costs. The work was done beautifully. The workers were nice and easy to work with. If any questions arose during the installation, Ben was right on hand to answer or make a change. We waited until spring to write review to see how plants survived winter. We had a couple that the rabbits chewed and one that did not fair well. Ben coordinated the replacement of these and I am very satisfied with the response. I highly recommend and already plan for them to do work at my moms this fall.

We had a major ant problem inside and outside of our home early this summer. We tried the ant baits ourselves and they did not work. One call to Green Oasis and Shane was very helpful and offered options. We have not seen any ants at all since the day of the application. Its been a huge relief and we are very pleased with the service we received.

I Do not have enough good things to say about working with Ben and his team. We had plans to put in a pool, but never did I picture the masterpiece that he would come up with! He is INCREDIBLY responsive- provided amazing plans- has such a good eye and was more than accommodating. I will continue to use him on projects for years to come.

I have tried a few different companies for my lawn care. The last being: NatureScape, South ST. Paul,MN: they were the worst!! Always a fight with them, they never once admitted failure, it was always something I was doing wrong. Green Oasis, was never that way. They took care of my yard, I never once had to call them and have them come back. I have had them for two years now, they took over the NatureScape mess, last year! My yard has never looked better!

Had Green Oasis do my holiday decorations last year, and doing it again this year. I had a very hard time finding someone to do the lights on my house because of the height of the roof peaks. No problem for G.O. They did it, left everything in great order, and even let me keep them up a little longer after the holidays. I really appreciated the extra service. Looking forward to another simple year of yes, please put up my lights, make everything pretty, and take them back down. No fuss. :) Highly recommend.

Green Oasis built a deck and patio for us this past Spring. Ben Graf designed it for us; his was the most innovative of all the designs we got from other bids. He perfectly matched the terrain and space, and only Ben conceived of a deck as well as a patio. The deck has turned out to be my favorite place to be in the warm weather. The installation was flawless, on time, and very respectful of us and our neighbors. I could go on and on, but the point is you wont go wrong hiring them.

The building team was courteous, hard working and great to work with. I highly recommend using Green Oasis. We wanted to re-do our landscaping (very much overdue), and had Ben design a plan for us. Its almost like he was able to read our minds and provide us exactly what we were looking for! We are now in the process of implementing the plan (in three phases, as we desired), and are very pleased thus far with both the services and Bens willingness to ensure that we are fully satisfied. We will provide an update to this review when phases 2 and 3 are completed (later this summer). As for now, we are very satisfied, and would definitely use Ben/Green Oasis again!

Green Oasis has installed Holiday lights for us the past 2 years. The lights and a big lighted Christmas wreath look fantastic. Having the lights installed professionally takes a huge load of pressure off our plate and frees up valuable time! The staff is very professional, courteous and responsive. This was our first summer with Green Oasis, providing mosquito control at our Twin Cities home and at our Wisconsin lake place. The treatments worked wonders and we will definitely be using them again next summer. Shane was our primary contact and was great to work with. Very personable and responsive to communications/requests. He helped customize the timing of the treatments to meet our family schedule between the two homes. He also went above and beyond to help us live trap not 1, but 4 (!!!) groundhogs at our Twin Cities home this summer!!! Very knowledgeable and prompt in getting this problem under control. We hope we wont need this service next summer. Hoping the entire groundhog family has been relocated! Weve been pleased with Shane and all of our Green Oasis contacts, and recommend them highly.

We were very satisfied with the Green Oasis team. They scheduled all visits in advance and arrived on time. We had lawn maintenance and significant clean up with pruning and brush removal. Also completed planting project of numerous trees with which we were very happy. The personnel couldn t have been more helpful, professional, courteous and neat. We highly recommend their services.

Total waste of time and money with Green Oasis pest control. After hiring Green Oasis to help with a raccoon, they quit in less than two weeks without any notice, no reason why, and no communication. We called, left messages and email but no reply from Green Oasis. We still dont know why they stopped providing the service we paid for. We would defiantly recommend looking elsewhere.

I have used this company for 4 years. They have cared for our lawn with fertilizer program, donour start up and blow out for our irrigation system and help with start up of waterfall feature each year. They also handle any up keep of systems if problems arise. Staff is friendly and helpful. There have been only a couple of miscommunications over the years but are handled promptly.
