Mark was extremely helpful with ensuring I bought an automatic lawn mower that was suited to the garden. He ensured that I could pick it up from him smoothly on my journey past Guildford. He told me I may not need the extended aerial which turned out to be true, so I received a prompt refund.

We have had a really excellent experience with Lawn Crew from the beginning. Mark and his team have been friendly, efficient, always helpful (for instance with advice), and above all they have done a splendid job on our lawn, which was in a very poor state when they started and is now great.

I have been using Lawn Crew for a number of years now. Over that time they have got rid of all the extraneous growth I had on the lawns (moss and various other unwanted things) and left me with plush, grassy lawns. Lawn Crew renovated my lawn for me in Spring 2021. At that time I had a spongy, mostly mossy lawn. Mark provided a comprehensive assessment with recommendations for renovation and maintenance programme. They removed all of the old lawn and started again from seed - the only effort while it was growing was to ensure there was sufficient watering (and they lent me sprinklers to help me). I ended up with a beautiful lawn and I have kept them on ever since for their maintenance programme to keep it healthy and looking good, so I have to do very little. I have no hesitation in recommending Mark and his team, they are friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and helpful - I recommended them to my neighbour and she thinks highly of them too.

We were recommended to Lawn Crew by our neighbours. Our extensive rear lawn was full of moss, weeds and bare patches. It took time and required extensive scarification and at one point we had our doubts but Mark proved correct in advising patience and we now have a thriving moss and patch free lawn. There are some weeds but that is to be expected and it grows strongly. We are so satisfied that we have asked them to take on our front lawn which needs their TLC.

Around 5 years ago Lawncrew transformed my nondescript sloping weedy mossy lawn, approx one-third of an acre, into something which Im pleased to gaze upon every day and which enhances my garden shrubs and my elevated views over the Guildford river valley. I have used Lawncrew since 2018. My lawn use to be full of weeds which I had tried to get rid of myself using the usual weedkillers, but had failed. From the first year of using Lawncrew I saw a dramatic improvement in my lawn, it is now very green and healthy looking. Friends often comment on how good it looks. I am very pleased to write a review for Lawn Crew. Mark, Elliott and Lewis have been tending my lawn for about three years and in that time I have seen an appreciable improvement in its health. I believe that what sets Lawn Crew apart from the other well known lawn care companies is that Lawn Crew is not a franchise who just comes out four times a year to spray weed killer and put down some fertiliser. I feel the guys are genuinely invested in the appearance of my lawn. At the beginning of every year I receive a detailed treatment plan setting out the list of visits I will receive from Lawn Crew that year. Unlike other companies who come out at just the beginning and end of the summer I would say that between the months of March and September Lawn Crew are visiting my garden once every six or so weeks. Additionally, they offer scarification and aeration treatments which my lawn has benefitted from. These additional treatments are just not done as a matter of course every year - they are done when your lawn actually needs them. The first year Lawn Crew started working on my lawn I had two scarification treatments, the following year only one was needed and last year I did not need any at all. The point I am making is that Lawn Crew will not do a treatment simply to make money - they will only suggest a treatment if it is needed - I trust their judgement and value their opinion. My final point is simply to say that I have lost count of the number of times when I have been out in my front garden and neighbours or passersby have commented on how lovely my lawn is.

A few years ago our small lawn looked terrible and after several quotes to re turf it I met Mark and Elliot and agreed to use their services. The first scary visit saw them rip out moss and all that was not grass, most of the lawn, and every visit now sees it looking better and better. Lawn Crew did a great job of overhauling our lawn to remove huge amounts of moss. Various steps were taken, from laying lawn sand, scarifying, seeding preparation, seeding, feeding, etc. 6 weeks later we had lots of new grass growing where all the horrible moss had been. Would recommend lawn crew, very trustworthy and professional.

Our lawn has been struggling to cope with the effects of our female Spaniel creating brown patches for years, and was sparsely covered in other parts, due to sun / shade issues in different parts of the garden. Mark came over and quickly presented his proposals, which involved a step-by-step approach over the season - scarify / hollow-tine / fertilise / re-seed, which we have now had completed over recent months, such that the treatments can be easily appreciated. It hasnt been plain sailing, but Mark has persisted and often gone the extra mile, e.g. when man-handling a heavy machine up our narrow steps, or offering ad hoc / follow-up advice by phone / text along the way to ensure that we obtained a satisfactory result. Mark has been a pleasure to deal with and I am happy that we have been able to support a local business getting underway. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lawn Crew to anyone who wishes to have a professional solution to their lawn problems.

I brought in Mark last spring having had a slight accident in applying fertilizer on my back lawn also the lawn had been going downhill for a couple of years or so. Seeing it now, it does not seem the same lawn. Mark carried out scarifying, hollow tining, over seeding and applied dressings at the right time and in the right quantities!! It has just had its final winter treatment for the year and will be assessed early next spring for the 2018 treatment. If you have any lawn problems, I would thoroughly recommend Mark for your first Port of Call You will not be disappointed.
