Weedman will come out and treat your yard again and again if you you want to continue to reach out to them every time you dont get the results you expect ( which will be often). I just cancelled my service because I dont feel that I should have to continue to complain about the weeds or clover that is there. There will be weeds that are not covered by your service that will show up that for an extra fee they can help you eliminate. Thanks but no thanks. Tired of hoping they will service without me having to telling them. They will say that they rely on you telling them that there is a need....I say pay attention to the condition when you show up. Maybe it is training that needs to happen or it is a plan to make more money??

Lawn man was a great company to deal with. Had my lawn looking great. Really nice people.

We started using this company last year for mosquito control. It was the first time in the 10 years we lived at our address that we didnt get attacked by mosquitoes. We have a creek in the back yard so you can imagine how bad the mosquitoes could be. The first year was great. The second year a whole different story. Very disappointed in their lack of integrity. They offer mosquito control and even state they will do a follow up for free if you see any issues. However, when I called they didnt come treat for free when I had an issue. They waited and scheduled around next treatment time and said oh you have to pay because its time for next treatment. Then this last time they treated I had mosquitoes eating me alive and I called for a follow up retreat and no call no follow up for over a week. I guess since they did 7 treatment this year they are done with their promise. I would not recommend them for any mosquito treatment and would be second guessing using them for any other project if this is how they treat their customers. These compa is get to big for their pants and forget where the money comes from. Trugreen and growing green are just as bad.

My grass has improved, healthier and Greener, weeds are under control, I do not worry about treatments, they are scheduled throughout the year. I just get a reminder and a bill. You do not have to be home, trust Weedman.

Horrible company, horrible communication and no professionalism. We talked with them to get a quote a month ago, and one guy came to our house and gave us a quote and he said well get e mail to set an appointment. If we set an appointment, they will provide a service, if not, they will not provide a service. We never replied to e mail and never set an appointment because we found another company who works better. 2 weeks later, one of a sudden out of blue someone called us and told us that they provided service yesterday and now we need to pay for it. What the hell? Noone called us, noone rang our bell. So, they just came to our property, without our permission, and provided a service for us? Thats crazy. We never approved anything like that and I dont believe they even provided a service because it doesnt make sense at all. When I call them, customer service (!) and sales people were very very extremely rude. I told them Im not paying anything and Ill sue them because they came into my property and did things in my property without my permission (as they said), which yes Ill 100% sue them. Horrible people, never work with them.

So I hired weed man last year May-23. My backyard had been neglected for 10 plus years and I knew I needed to do something. They came out and set me up on a program to prep my yard for fall seeding which I was skeptical of what the results would be this spring. To my surprise my backyard looks incredible! It s still not perfect but they did a fantastic job getting my backyard enjoyable again. Thanks for the service you ve done at my house.

Unfortunately we never had the chance to work together as they never responded via email.

Been using weedman for years with great results. If a problem does occur, they are quick to respond. They feel more like mom & pop type business than your cooperate firm/franchise.

I do little to look after my yard other than to mow it regularly. Apparently the applications Weed Man applies are doing their job. I get plenty of compliments on the lawn, and it really does look great. Works for me!

Had a horrible experience, after years of working with weeds , my grass looks horrible(looks same after all theses years , NO GRASS ) been told this year that my grass has some type of disease, but they never fix the issue or resolve the issue, but continue seeding my grass year after year and not fixing the problem , so I ve been paying them to seed my yard nd spray for weeds every month , for money to be thrown out nd they collect my money knowing there s an issue so it was just a waste of time doing all that, to get the same result year after year and I finally called and talk to the manager about this issue, when calling the customer service, the lady s have been giving me the runaround and making me feel like it s all my fault , if you have the same issue, you would also feel the same way that I ve been feeling with no results with your yard, they were very unprofessional with issue after calling today manger finally said we are just going to cancel the service since we been having issues with you , all I wanted them to do fix the problem , guess I was the problem , not the grass , refer us to them, and she told us good things about them nd they are good on fixing the issue, my name is Brandon DeJames . Think twice before making any decisions. Just to clear more thing about your message, I did try to resolve the issue, I try to call back to talk to the manager, got no response back ! Once again the blame is All me , I would like my complete refund for next year , since I already paid for , thank you , hopefully in the future, someone won t get treated like you have , not a good business to work with !

CUSTOMERs and POTENTIAL CUSTOMERs BEWARE: I had a beautiful yard in the front and back of my yard. The yard was sprayed in June, in July the yard, and Azella bushes started to die. I watered the yard several times throughout the hot dry times. August, I continued to water and try to revive the yard and Azellas. By the end of August, it was just dead and heartbreaking at the money I had spent. The Azellas were 20 yrs. old. When they came and looked at the yard, they blamed it on the heat and lack of rain. Funny thing is the area of the yard they were supposed to spray in June but didnt ( I had them on Camera) didnt die and the other Azellas around the house not near where they sprayed did not die. I do not recommend. None of my family/friends can believe it from how it looked last year and early. I had used them last year but let them go early after seeing on camera they didnt treat everywhere 2 months in a row. They said it was a new owner and had changed so I gave them a shot. Poor decision on my part.

I am extremely disappointed to write a one star for this service. However the lack of communication, and professionalism is the reason why I sadly rated a one here. They did the spring visits. Normal landscape services typically arriate, and offers wintering of your grass. Not one email, text, or random show up. My grass grew differently, and some of it never grew at all. Overall, I have terminated our contract because they haven t lived up to their end of the deal.

Weedman has been TOP NOTCH on my lawn and it shows every day. Green grass (WEEDLESS) Is absolutely amazing!! I would highly recommend WEEDMAN to all my friends and family. No one is perfect but the problem solving on minor issues are outstanding as far as communication and getting the issue resolved.

Don t wast your time on this company after calling them for two weeks and spoke to Courtney and another lady and asked for tony nobody wants to give me a reason why they didn t come to spray my lawn from the weed after ten calls she told me your account is canceled for no reason than they got me Hanna on the phone she said that we no longer doing Burlington plus last year they spayed my yard with different chemicals that s not for my grass and tony we will take care of and I had to put grass fertilizer my self to get the grass back to the normal growth It takes you two weeks to respond to a customer to tell them that you don t do this territory anymore

They sent us an invoice in January saying we had a credit for $1.49. Our total due at the bottom according to them was was $62.51 instead of $64.00. So that s what we paid! Next month we got an invoice for $71.00 plus a balance due of $1.49 for the previous month. The balance due at the bottom still said TOTAL due was $71.00. We called and were told don t worry about it . Subsequent invoices continued to reflect the $1.49 balance eventually resulting in past due stamped in red on the outside of the envelope. Total however never reflected the added$1.49. We called repeatedly to no avail. Talked to someone who identified herself as the comptroller and claimed she had no supervisor. Instead of taking responsibility she became defensive and ridiculously claimed that the past due notice was not due the $1.49 but because the bill was due immediately after service and we should have paid the technician. ( who comes when we aren t home and by their policy no longer leaves a bill). This is absurd! They send a bill in the mail and we pay it every time before the next billing cycle just as every normal business operates. Something is seriously wrong with this system and beware of doing business with them. They were great when they were locally owned but, after being bought out, no more. If I could give zero stars I would.

Treatment damaged my lawn on 8.19. Could not talk to local management until I reached out to franchiser in Canada! Unannounced visit today (9.14) and told have to wait until spring to see what happens. Also found out lawns treated between 8.19 and 8.30 potentially damaged by same chemical. Damage is bad enough, but inability to reach management; lack of customer service/communication may be worse!

Sale associate was rude. I wouldnt buy the service so guy said dont eat to much. Looks like you already ate a turkey. Great way to make a sale.

Used them for a season. Pleased with results. Really helped get my yard in the right direction in a pretty short period of time. Found the cost to be too high. About $400 a year for a basic plan. Wanna say that was 6 treatments a year. So $66 for a 5 minute spray. My yard is maybe 7k square feet. There are lots of add ons available that they will sell you, like disease spray and crabgrass control. While they seem to work, each application is $100+. It s easy to spend $1000+ a year with them. My account manager Lee was great. The man that came to my yard, Matthew was not. I called in to ask about brown spots in my yard. Lee told me he would send someone out. Mathew shows up the next morning before 7am and wakes everyone up in my home. Recommends a disease spray and takes up about 2 minutes. I agreed to the disease spray. A week later Matthew comes to spray and I catch him on my doorbell camera making fun of the brown spots in my yard to the guy helping him. He mentions to the other guy about mowing height and sharp blades, etc. These were all things he did not mention to me in our meeting the week prior. I found this to be disappointing since we are supposed to be working together to make my yard look the best it can. If I m taking care of someone s yard and it s not looking good, I m probably not going to make fun of it. I m going to find remedies and share whatever advice I can with the customer. I called in to report this incident and Lee came out to address it. He was very apologetic and took time to walk the yard with me. However, no real resolution or gesture was offered. I discontinued service the following week and have maintained my yard on my own since then. When I called to cancel service and explained it was due to this experience, the lady on the phone cancelled my service and hung up without any questions or concerns. My yard still looks good, without the cost and unprofessional experience.

I like people that are willing to communicate, you receive communication as well as an excellent service! They are professional, friendly, and knowledgeable!

I had to switch companies, due to poor workmanship. Personnel came to spray and killed flowers in front of house. Management came out and refused to take responsibility and blamed it on sunny weather. When the plant has been there in the same place for over 4yrs and has never died, its not the sun to blame. At a later time I had to request a different employee to spray yard, due to dill weed issues never taken care of. Bare spots have come back after seeding, but personnel need better customer service.

They had no record of this visit. I cannot seem to get them to acknowledge what happened or offer any plan to make it better.

Good customer service, they let you know what day they are coming and actually show up, you can customize your lawn care program, no contracts or commitments, and my yard looks great. They check a lot of boxes for me. This year they plugged and seeded my yard and the next day we had a major down pour which washed away a lot of the seed. Weed man came back out and repeated the service free of charge! Keep it up weed man!

Great service! When I first started using them my yard was a hot mess. Five years later and I have the yard the neighbors comment on how nice it is. I haven t seen any weeds return and they got my grub problem under control. They offer full seeding and aeration service to get that thick lush carpet grass.

My one star rating is for the rude, short and condescending receptionist Kim. She has to be one of the absolute worst receptionist that I ve ever encountered! She has a chip on her shoulder that leaves the customer feeling unvalued. If I had to call her on a constant basis I would most likely take my business elsewhere. The other staff members are great to work with and have ALWAYS been pleasant and welcoming.

This has to be the worst lawn treatment company in the Triad. I have a putting green in my background that was surrounded by Bermuda Grass. I paid an extra $447 for 3 separate treatment to kill this type of grass as our yard is fescue. The service tech said it would take care of the problem. Not only did our yard look horrendous in the summer due to coming out on 3 separate occasions, it has now come back even more lush and green! My father has left two messages for the owner to call and discuss and no one has called back. YOUR service is no longer needed. Our neighbors use Nature Select and their yards look a lot better than our do. Time for a switch. If you choose to use their service, they invoice you on receipt and email you when you are a few days beyond treatment date. Their office person Kim is absolutely no help; sends nasty emails and then never responds. Trust us, we were hoping our service would be discontinued. This is a good for nothing, water downed gimmick of a franchise.

Overall a good company to get your lawn in order. But....they will pop up at your home, do their thing and put the bill on your door. I didnt need THAT much seed & fertilizer over the summer. I like to know when you are going to my home and what your doing. Not just popping up leaving a bill on my door

This company should screen better who they have driving for them. They just about hit me and my children when my light was green turning left and they had a red light turning right. Which wouldn t be a problem if the gentleman yielded to the rules of the road and didn t try to turn into the far lane where I was coming forcing me to drive into oncoming traffic to get away from him hitting my car with my children in it. And then he flipped me off following the event. Very unprofessional, especially in your work truck.

I worked with them for a little over a year. I ve put much thought into how to leave this review. I haven t had a completely negative experience with them. There are positives with weedman. I do think they use quality seed. I do think they mostly know what they are doing. But I also think they have a lot to learn about their business in several areas. I m a small business owner. I ve got lots to learn about my field every year too but part of it is admitting wrong and the other is taking care of people. And not just partly, but completely. 1) They accidentally mixed fertilizer chemicals wrong and killed parts of my yard, some of which was 2 year old thriving sod I paid to have laid in the spring. They admitted the mistake initially but now claim this specific area we are disputing they didn t write down as an area they killed. Well I ve a couple of random small (<1 diameter from pet urine) areas that I ve managed on my own (seeding) and if these areas had died on their own I would have dealt with it myself. Never would I expect them to assist with an area I messed up unless it was time to seed/aerate. I asked for sod to be replaced with sod but they insisted to wait till the fall when they could seed, that seed would yield just as good of a result. I obliged since they seemed against sodding thinking they d keep taking care of the issue till it was as thick as the sod once was or at least close. Fall seeding produced good grass. They used the same sun/shade fescue on all the areas including dense shade areas. I watered well. Winter came, did its thing. Now grass is trying to regrow and in the dense shade areas there isn t much grass. I asked Drew, the manager who personally did the seeding, why they didn t use a specific seed for dense shade and if he had forethought about this being an issue he should have sodded. His answer was well we didn t sod because it was easier for us to use seed because we already buy it and we specialize in seeding not sodding so that s why we didn t want to sod . So Drew, the manager/experienced one of this company, essentially did whatever was easiest for the company to use and put no specialist thinking into what would work best, where like maybe add rye seed, etc. So that s one issue they use a good product but they can t problem solve anything but what ll work in sunny areas. They have a hammer and they treat everything as a nail. They aren t willing to outsource issues as it ll cost them money. 2) Second issue, he refused to attempt to reseed it with anything claiming seed grew there and since it grew he fulfilled his duty. Well mother nature does its thing but if I ve done everything that was asked of me and the issue still remains that they created, it s my belief that they should attempt to help with this area. Had I abused the grass and didn t maintain it then I wouldn t be frustrated with anyone. When this happens within my own small business and I can 100% PROVE it was the fault of that person, I do what Drew is doing to me. However, if I can t prove that then I give the patient/client the benefit of the doubt and I take care of the patient/client. I don t write the blame off on something out of the control of that person and walk away. That s how you end up with angry and frustrated people. I ve since moved my business to Nature Select and anticipate I ll be taken care of completely if this issue comes up, not just partially and they ll actually think about what they are seeding and if It s the right seed for a specific area, not just seed it all the same as if all seed works the same regardless of sun type.

We have had Weed Man for 3 years and our yard is the best in the neighborhood. I dont take advantage of all of their fall seeding services and my yard still looks great. Ive called them back a few times for a touch up weed kill and they respond quickly. This year Ill let them do the fall work as well. Very satisfied with their work and response time.

Do NOT hire! Our grass started green, after two treatments we now have brown grass. One of their employees told us they treated it with something that worked against the type of grass we have, causing it to dormant. When the Director of Operations came out, he told us they did not cause our grass to turn brown and would do nothing to help. Find another company to work with!
