We have used Juan and his team for all our landscaping needs since moving to Wheaton in 2019. Qualtity work and professional staff!

We have used Juan for 10+ years at our various homes in Glen Ellyn. He is wonderful, his crew is respectful, and they do great work. He has done work at our family members homes as well. I would never waste time working with another company if he is available to do the work.

Did the work. Had a problem with a sink hole. Said they would come out. No problem...ghosted. no call back nothing. Not professional. I would not recommend if you have any major issues. Only trust them in a quick fix.

We used Golden Sun to clean up our landscaping after some outdoor work and to install downspouts. Juan was very helpful and responsive throughout the estimate process and provided thoughtful recommendations to make our landscaping better without over charging. His team arrived on time and went above and beyond with the services provided. We would use them again going forward and recommend them for similar projects.

Our neighbors use Golden Sun, and we had a full, front yard landscape project (bare earth) after a whole home remodel. Working together with Juan discussing design concepts through planning and execution was very easy and enjoyable. They were able to complete our front yard with amazing sod and plant over 20 plants, then mulch cover in a day and a half (on schedule and at budget). We've used Golden Sun Landscaping twice already, and we've been very happy with the level of service. Not in the habit of reviewing things, but I had to say something. In the first instance we were preparing our old home for sale. It needed a lot of work - trees removed, weeding, mulching etc. Juan came in with a specific vision of how to transform the space for affordable price but was very responsive to our questions and suggestions. From there is was a short-turn around and the work was done in one day. The end result was amazing, and had a beautiful pear tree added. Our realtor had high praise for the landscaping and the home ended up selling quickly and at the price-point that we were hoping to get. We were so jealous of the nice landscaping in our old home that we decided to contact Juan again to beautify our new home. The front of the house is an unusual shape and the previous owner left a lot of overgrown material. Again Juan had a plan - in CAD I might add - to fix our aesthetics and had specific reasons for his plan. We substituted some of the plants, but we were mostly happy to follow his guidance. Since we'd be staying, he also provided care instructions and had a mind towards how it was going to grow up over time. Plants seem resilient in the year or so since. I think I will contact again to help with a new garden area by the shed. We had no difficulties with Juan's landscaping workers, any questions or concerns can come through him and he reaches out to the rest. One last story. I had a fence scheduled to be installed (different company) where I was responsible for clearing the shrubbery. Well I reached out to Juan in a bit of a panic because the shrubbery ended up being beyond what I could handle. Juan was able to pencil me in last minute, taking out the shrub personally with a mattock! That's customer service.
