Weve worked with Hoffman Landscapes for over 2 years now and how been thrilled with our experience. Ryan Egan is an extremely attentive and professional property manager and is on top of everything going on in the yard. Brian Cossari created a beautiful and totally functional landscape design that we love every day that we spend time outside and look out our windows. His team was professional, friendly and tireless...the best!

Hoffman Landscapes has been doing my landscape maintenance for the past 2 years. Hoffman definitely cares about making their customers happy. Mike W. and Joe B. are very knowledgable and responsive. Joe B. makes regular site visits to check everything. If there is a problem, he is on it immediately. He is great with email. Donna has done wonders with my roses since she inherited the thorny nightmare from my previous landscaper.

Hoffman has provided landscaping and winter services for our weekend home for at least eight or nine years. Over these years they have been consistent in providing careful attention to our property under all weather conditions. Without my ever asking for it, I regularly find a property check email that is extremely helpful and comforting when I am away. I also commend their consistently spotting lawn and landscaping issues as they develop, and their responsiveness to issues I may otherwise notice or question. While surely there are less expensive alternatives to Hoffman, Justin Nickerson has proven to be a reliable, valued partner who makes Hoffman overall worth the cost.

Hired them for a large scale project and smaller scale landscaping project - all the guys were professional and efficient. They have a terrific eye and design skills. We were very pleased with the completed work and care to detail, specifically their focus on cleaning up the site after the project was complete and making sure everything was complete and to our satisfaction.

We began our relationship with Hoffman Landscapes over 10 years ago. During this time they have executed numerous landscape projects for us. As well we have charged them with the responsibility of upkeep and maintenance of our property. The crew at Hoffman is extremely conscientious and professional in the execution of their work at our home. Over the past few years, Corey, has had the responsibility of managing our maintenance needs. He has done an excellent job coordinating the work needed, and the look of our place has never been better!!

Our family has had a wonderful experience with Hoffman over the past three years. We switched to their service after a bad experience with a competitor so we were reluctant to buy into what they were selling. We knew we had a ways to go to get our property looking the way we wanted it but with Scott Fawcett and his team, led by Joe Bamberger, we have had a wonderful experience. If something is not done right the first time, it gets fixed and even then again if we are still not happy. I have told them from the beginning that I really appreciate the knowledge that comes from having a big company but the customer service that makes you feel like its a 5 man company. I visited with Mike Hoffman of Hoffman Landscapes recently, through the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) Trailblazer Program. The Trailblazer Program has been instrumental in growing my landscape company and breaking through to the next level. Hoffman Landscapes and its highly professional staff have exceeded my expectations in every way. When we retained them to take care of our property we knew from the staff we met that they were professional, but we were not expecting the truly extraordinary experience they provided. Mike Walker and Rick King are the consummate professionals and their breadth of knowledge is extraordinary. The irrigation department with Jason and his staff are always quick to respond to a request and get it right the first time EVERY time. I HIGHLY Recommend them. Be prepared for a wonderful experience. 7/22/17 update. Jason and the irrigation staff continue to impress. I had numerous breaks in my lines and they were found, fixed and back on line immediatly. Geat job. These guys are the best DONT go anywhere else if you want it done right.

This is my first season with Hoffman, and my expectations have been exceeded. Everything they have done for me, they have done extremely well. While I was impressed with Hoffman from the initial walk around and subsequent follow up to my questions ( via Mike W.) , I never imagined how quickly they could transform my property. My perennials have never looked better, weeds in flower beds are under control, flagstone has been restored, and more... We have been customers of Hoffman for years. I never thought I would have a Landscape Emergency, but I did a few weeks ago when the neighbors maintenance crew began planting trees on our property. Ryan arrived in Wilton about 20 minutes later WITH our property map in hand to show the boundary, something I hadnt even thought to ask for. I really appreciated this outstanding service.

Pat Lalor and his crew have done a wonderful job maintaining our large property for many years. Weve used them for everything from mowing & pruning, irrigation, plowing and even pre event touch ups and yard pest spraying. Recently we renovated our driveway which made travel in with the mowers impossible for two weeks. No problem! Pat arranged to have mowers left on the property before the construction began so no interruption in maintenance occurred. That is the kind of service Hoffman provides. Their ability (and willingness) to meet the individual clients needs on a daily basis is very much appreciated by this property manager.

Hoffman has done a number of projects for us. We have been happy with their advice, knowledge and performance. They have implemented ideas that have transformed our property. We highly recommend Hoffman Landscapes.

Brent is so genuinely concerned about my level of happiness with every service from getting grass to grow in an area where it never has before, to helping me design my gardens, to checking in to make sure that the works thats been done is up to my standards. One time when I had a crisis with my hydrangeas he came out on a Saturday, his day off, to be on top of what was wrong. By early Monday morning they were being root watered and I believe he saved the whole mature bank of flowers by his quick and unselfish response. I am very pleased with the entire process of working with Hoffman Landscapes. From the moment I met Rick when he came out to see my property I could tell that he was a man of vision and he would be able to turn my property into the lovely space I wanted. Extremely disappointed with Hoffman. They have left our property in worse shape than when we handed it over to them. Only just this week, after we had terminated them after several instances of incompetence, we noticed extensive deer damage that had not been called to our attention by our property manager. We would not recommend them at all.

Hoffman Landscapes is a top notch landscaping firm. Bob Doerflinger and his team created a front yard landscape for us that is the envy of Old Greenwich. From the creation of a gorgeous stone wall to the landscaping and irrigation, everyone involved was knowledgable professional and extremely easy to work with. We recently used Hoffman Landscapes for a pool renovation and patio. The project was a lot more involved than anyone originally thought, due to structural issues in the pool. Hoffman worked hard to address the issues and complete the project to our satisfaction. We are very pleased with the quality of the work. Bob Doerflinger, the project manager, was extremely responsive when we had questions relating to the project, and he resolved issues in a timely manner, which was very important to us given the scope of the project.

We could not be happier with Hoffman Landscapes. We built our house 2 years ago and the builder botched the yard, pool, driveway, etc. We hired Hoffman and they completely redid and transformed our yard and pool. We now have an outdoor space that we love and use. Hoffman has a team of excellent landscape architects (we used Matt Biron) and we have been so happy with his vision. Not only is everyone at Hoffman extremely professional, but they also give you the personal attention that makes working with them enjoyable. Hoffman has taken our lawn from a nightmare to a carpet of green in the two seasons we have been with them. All of their staff have been professional and courtious around my wife and two toddlers .. and their outdoor toys. One of the few services we have where I feel we are getting what we are paying for. Early morning or evening meetings to go over the property, prompt responses via email. Email updates on projects and snow removal. Im very happy with them.

They offer many landscaping services like irrigation services and tick spray which smaller landscaping services do not. The annual service contract allows you to set a budget for all your landscaping needs. Professional and courteous staff.

Last fall I called Hoffman to discuss building a vegetable garden and refreshing some of the landscaping at my new home. One of their designers, Rick King, came out and spent over an hour walking the property with me and discussing my vision, budget, and time frame. His expertise was immediately apparent and his laid back demeanor put me at ease. He taught me a lot about the plantings on my property and how to care for them myself. Within a week I had comprehensive proposals broken out by bed for my entire property so I could easily pick and choose what I wanted to do and when. Rick even came back out to review the proposals in person and show my wife and I pictures of the plantings he had selected. I reconnected with Rick in March and they just installed a beautiful and functional vegetable garden which we are very pleased with. The crew got it installed in a day and a half and were a pleasure to work with. Darrick, the foreman, was onsite multiple times each day and extremely communicative. The guys doing the work were warm and friendly and tolerated my 4 year old helping them truck soil and mulch down with his toy wheel barrow. I even caught them cleaning up and organizing his toys as they packed up their gear at the end of the day. Im very happy I chose Hoffman and have no problem recommending them, I look forward to working with them again soon.

We worked with Bob Doerflinger to design an extension of our driveway including stonework and landscaping. Bob was great to deal with, very pleasant, responsive and professional. He worked well with the town to get the necessary approvals. I would use him/Hoffman again.

Mike Walker listened to my concerns, and his recommendations were completely on point as I wanted something low maintenance, deer resistant, and visually appealing. We used Hoffman for a major design and build project at our weekend home in CT which involved very challenging conditions as our home is built on a heavily-wooded ledge. We had a very positive experience with Hoffman. The first phase involved a comprehensive property design which was relatively affordable. We were blown away by the creativity and can do attitude. Our designer Brian Cossari really understood our objectives and our aesthetic and translated it into a plan. He listened and included the features that we requested but also added some very slick elements that we would never have dreamed up on our own. We werent able to afford all aspects of the master plan and Brian was patient in doing a second and third cuts of the scope and budget. In terms of execution, they started the project one week before the promised date and kept us informed of the status reasonably well. They made several scope changes on the fly, when we requested. This process required a properly-documented change order and there were no surprises when we received invoices. They finished a week late for understandable reasons (we added to scope and they hit an unexpected amount of rock when digging the pool). Overall, we had to be pleased with the time table on which they completed the work. They handled permitting, inspections and town relations for us on a hassle-free basis. Much better than weve seen in the past with other firms. The quality of the people working day to day and materials used was very high. Some of their hardscapers are artisans in their own right. Overall, we were very satisfied with the work done and would recommend Hoffman without misgiving.

I have referred many of my own clients to use Hoffman Landscapes and have always heard amazing results when I followed up with them. My dealings with Rob has been spot on. He knows his products and exactly what is needed to make sure the business is running its best, to provide a top level care for their customers. He is a pleasure to do business with!
