In 2012 and again in 2018 we had Koster put in lawn irrigation systems, first in our front yard and later in our back yard. The work was done quickly and professionally and has made all the difference in our ability to keep grass growing in our heavily shaded yard. In 2019 we had one sprinkler go bad, and Koster quickly dispatched a worker to do the repair. Just recently, when we had a water line issue in the yard, Koster was quickly able to show the plumbers where the irrigation lines were located so that they could do their job without any damage to the irrigation lines. We have been pleased with all his work.

When we purchased our home, the irrigation system was already installed. We called Koster Irrigation to inspect our system. Will Koster immediately responded, inspected the system and explained what needed to be done to bring it on line. Everyone from the folks in the office to the technicians who maintain the system have always been responsive, friendly and thorough. I had them redo the irrigation lines down one section of the property line where a new fence punctuated the mainline. They found a few more leaks in the process where pipe joints had cracked over the years. They found them all and did a great job repairing things. I also had them to create a couple of new zones. They did good work and kept at it, no sitting around with this crew.

Needed to replace 25 yr old system, front and back. Koster crew came and did a great job. 31 heads. Cared about their work and it showed. Cleaned up afterwards each day which, sad to say, doesn t happen much any more. Wait list was long but that s the way it goes. They suggested trenching electric to my utility shed while they were here. Smart.

Koster Irrigation installed 36 back flows for our apartment community. It was done very professionally and each year they assist with re-inspections and reporting information required to the city. They are very professional and easy to work with.

Will did a great job on our landscape lighting. We need more light at our driveway, but did not want it to be too commercial. Will suggested accent lights on trees and driveway entry lighting. He arrived as scheduled and completed the job in budget and on time.

Koster Irrigation installed a system in my yard approximately 15 years ago. I have been so pleased with the quality of their work and especially with their maintenance service and responsiveness over the years.

Will came out and met with me about repairing our irrigation system and explained exactly what would happen. A couple of days later his crew came out and took care of fixing it. Will also gave me great referrals for a couple of other services that I needed and did not know who to turn to in the Wilson area.

Will Koster is a pro! I had an issue recently with my irrigation system after it had been de-winterized. He helped me solve the issue over the phone, thus helping to avoid a service all to the house. Was very creative in asking for photos/videos of certain aspects of the irrigation system and then coming back with suggestions / advice on how to troubleshoot. Ultimately, with his guidance, the problem was solved! In face to face interactions, Will and his team have always been on time, professional and very client focused. Its a shame you try to do business with a company with good reviews and call, speak to the the owner. He tells you to put it in a email and send it to him. You follow his instructions. He emails back and says hell get back to you in a few days. You wait a week, two weeks, three weeks, four weeks. Give up on him and do the job yourself. Why are people in business and treat customers like this. Im thru with Will and Koster Irrigation Inc as well.

Will can out gave me a price, when I called for them to come and install the system they did just that. That was important to me because of the difficulty in getting a company to show up and do they agreed to do. They did excellent work and everything is working great. I didnt mind paying for something that works. I would recommend this company.

I contacted Koster Irrigation at the end of May 2019 to repair the control panel on my irrigation system. It was a week that repeated saw temperatures in the upper 90s. The owner retasked a team to work my request into the work day. Further, the owner contacted me directly to see whether there was something that could be checked and corrected on the control panel ahead of his team arriving. The workers expediently fixed the control panel and then walked through each zone to ensure all heads were working properly. I was very satisfied with the work.

THE SYSTEM HAD NOT BEEN MAINTAINED PROPERLY, THEN I ASK WILL TO GO THRU THE ENTIRE SYSTEM AND CHECK IT OUT FOR US. WITHIN A FEW DAYS A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN WAS AT OUR HOME. Will Koster is a straight shooter. I got three estimates for installing an in-ground irrigation system in my front yard. Wills estimate was on the high side, but he was the only contractor who told me the truth about everything I asked. One of the other contractors gave me a cost estimate for a certain component that was easily shown to be false by a quick internet search. Another contractor told me that Raleigh code required a set spacing between certain components of the system. I didnt like the answer, so I checked the Raleigh code. The other contractor was just plain wrong. The brazen misrepresentations of the other contractors were just astounding to me. Do they really think that people are not going to independently check these matters for an expensive home improvement project like a sprinkler system? Anyway, in addition to being honest, Will communicated well about status and projected timelines. His crew worked hard under a broiling sun to finish the project on time. That is something I especially appreciate since, at my age, I am no longer able to do that. In my opinion, it will be hard to find a contractor for your home irrigation system project better than Koster Irrigation.

Ive looked for an irrigation contractor all summer and finally found a top notch company. Will and his team at Koster irrigation did a great job on the install. Was very prompt when I asked to come out and quote. Was very clean and organized with the job. They started on a Tuesday and finished the following Monday, due to one of the employees being sick. However they made up for the slower days by coming back on a Saturday to get the job done before the rain came in. After install was complete, Will came back and gave a tutorial on the Rainbird system. Awesome system by the way as I can operate via Wifi. Ive only had the system for a week, but all seems to be working just fine! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an irrigation install.

I have lived in Raleigh since 2011 and every November since then has been a panic to find someone who would show up when they commit and winterize our sprinkler system. My new lawn professional recommended Will Koster as a reliable resource (at which I chuckled). I spoke to Will and made an apt with low/no expectations hed show or show as committed. He was on time, made some recommendations for spring, winterized, and certified the back flow for the city of Raleigh. Although I was willing to pay what it took for a reliable and repeatable service, his charges were exactly what I had paid for prior poor service. He is professional, transparent, and no BS. Koster Irrigation was recommended to me by my landscaper when we were completely redoing my front and back yard. He told me that if I wanted my irrigation done right that Will is the one to call. Needless to say he was right. Will and his crew came out and worked with me and the landscaper to get a setup that was perfect for my yard. His guys had to remove the existing irrigation that was installed before I moved into the house that was poorly done. The install of the new irrigation was done with attention to detail and quality parts. It has been over 3 years since the install and I have yet to have to do any repairs to the system. For another example of how they impressed me even 2 years after install of the new system. I had natural gas lines installed in my yard and needed to mark the irrigation lines. I send an email to Will asking him if he remembered where the lines were. Not only did he get back to me within a 24 hour period he sent me a copy of the original landscaping design with the lines marked and zones colored in different colors. I have recommended Will to everyone I know that needs irrigation system install and repair. I know I will be using him for all my irrigation needs in the future.

We had a big issue with our irrigation system at Sonic Drive in that a couple other people could not figure out. Then someone Recommended that I contact Will. This was the best thing I did he was confident he would fix the issues. He was busy with a few other things but did come by and check it out, he was good at keeping in touch so I knew he was still working on it. He found several problems including cut wires under the concrete. Now we will be able to use our system again after it had been down for 3 years. Thanks Will Koster I would recommend them!
