Normally great but not recently, rearranged my delivery repeatedly, left me sat on job twice all day telling me it was coming, then when I call at 4pm they say it might do they don t know, this is 6days after the agreed delivery date . Try to explain to lady in office but she wouldn t listen

Fabulous lawn mix, truly top stuff. It was light, graded, mixed perfect. And so easy to work with, infact, so much goodness in it, that it was actually still warm when I worked with it. Because of its great consistency, it was a pleasure to work into the job at hand. The turf was also spectacular, within 24 hours, it was starting to rise. The new lawn now looks as good as new already. Highly recommended, I will NEVER go anywhere else.

Amazing Turf good customer service

Drivers are very rude. Customer service not very helpful. Block neighbours drives and ignore you when asked to let traffic through. Julie over the phone told me reviews wont matter so I thought Id give it a go.

Fantastic company. Made order on Thursday afternoon and collected on Friday morning. This is my second time ordering.

Always used Lindow turf and never ever had any issues with the quality of the product or service of staff!

I ordered and collected 18 rolls of quality turf for filling in two borders, all easy with the helpful team. Three weeks later and the results are great, the grass took really well and needed a cut this week. Even the quality turf is superb value. Thanks.

Great place to buy turf, good customer services and value for money

I never leave reviews, but I couldn t let anyone else go through the level of rudeness and worst customer service ever. Lindow Lawn turf use a logistics delivery business to deliver their products. I made an order which was an all day delivery and was meant to arrive on a Wednesday anytime between 9-6. I organised for people to be on demand on the day to lay it immediately once it arrives. Around 4:30 I called them up and asked for an update. The lady I spoke to wasn t keen on helping as they close at 5 and basically gave me a premium number to contact the delivery people myself. I did that and they said they only received the order yesterday so it will be out for delivery the next day. I called back to explain that the next day means the landscapers can t lay it down as they are busy and my turf will get ruined. She took my number and said she will call me back after speaking with them and that was after me requesting for her to do this several times. Of course I never received a call. The next day I called back in the morning and spoke to someone called David. I complained about the fact no one called me back and explained my situation. He went on to explain they are really busy and that I called 30 mins before they closed. He again asked me to call them in which I refused and said they should call them as they are the ones that have an agreements with this company not me and that I purchased from him. I complained and said it s basic customer service which is lacking and it s very simple to support and de-escalate all of this by making one call. Can you believe his response was yeah it s simple you will get it today as you can imagine I was frustrated and told him his was rude and that I m leaving a review and i out the phone down. I had to wait to cool off and my battery died. When I called back the lady I spoke to the day before answered and she went to speak to him. He said he s not helping me because I put the phone down on him and said I will leave this review and that he won t go out of his way to help. As you can imagine I wasnt too happy and I told her she needs to call them immediately and let me know an estimated time of delivery. She kept saying I don t know their delivery schedule any way back and forth and eventually she did and the delivery company called and they delivered it at 12 midday. Honestly my blood pressure went up and I m shocked at the level of skill and lack emotional intelligence and empathy these people have.I think they need immediate training customer service 101. Absolute bunch of muppets.

Ordered 80 rolls of turf on Wednesday for Friday delivery. Had them delivered at 9:30am on Friday. Very good quality turf and very good price. Couldn t ask for more. Really pleased with service.

I use this company for the turf for my garden, the turf was okay but they dropped a a lot less than I asked for !!!!! When I confronted them they werent really bothered just said that the lads on site mustve taken some, I think it might be the lads in their yard I just could not be bothered wont be using them again

Fantastic job done by the guys at Lindow!they supplied, delivered and laid 300m2 of premium turf. Richi and his helper did a great job from the moment they arrived. Even kept us updated with their progress while we were out. Excellent product from a very busy local company.

Placed an order on 14th and paid for it. Goods have still has not arrived on 21st April. The phones are not answered and there is no option to leave messages. Emails are not being acknowledged or replied to. Not worth doing business. Complete loss of man hours and frustration for no replies.

Ordered some turf via phone and it arrived on the Thursday morning. The delivery driver phoned 30 minutes in advance to let us know and he explained some tips as it was my first time laying turf.The grass is really good quality. The price was the best I could find near Stockport.Would highly recommend.

Good quality turf however extremely bad customer service sadly. The delivery man (who turned out to be the owner) did not use the correct unloading tools and cracked the public walk way just in front of our house. When my husband asked him to stop he carried on. We then asked him to fix it to which he filled it in with rubble and told us to pour diesel on it....diesel that if washed on to our brand new turf just inches away would kill it! Husband ended up having to drive back up to their location to ask when they would come and fix it properly. Man was extremely rude until my husband told him we had photos and videos. He then agreed to come and fix it within two week. Three weeks later and not heard anything even after email chases. Now reported to the council. Very disappointing behaviour from a local business.

Quality products at a competitive rate. You can t always get through to the phone but that s because everyone is probably using them as they are the best. Email them however and they are prompt with their reply.

Over the past 6 months I have used around 30 bulk bags of soil and some premium turf on our garden renovation. The top soil and turf have been excellent and the turf is looking great. The first few bags of the border soil was very good, but the last 5 bags were not so good with lots of large stones and clumps of roots - I thought this soil was screened!!!

Absolute joke this company ordered turf two weeks ago for delivery Monday was told mid to late morning delivery nothing turned up rang and was told nothing but lies requested ring back which never happened. Rang Tuesday morning was told the driver couldn t find address on Monday and that they had rang to give driver directions hahaha what a joke was at customers until 7:30pm waiting and none of that happened. It s now 9:43 on Tuesday morning after being told I m first delivery and nothing is here !!!!! I wonder if an iceberg has hit the wagon and he can t get to me looks like another wasted day at my expense thanks to lindow turf!! Avoid this company their not worth the hassle

I have been buying turf from Lindow since 1999, and have found them to be very professional and turf & delivery is always excellent. Highly recommended

would not recommend this company. We rang to order a small amount of turf and top soil and were quoted a price for delivery which was fine and we were happy to pay. I was told that I would receive a call back to let us know when they would be able to schedule a delivery as they would probably add it on when they were nearby as it was only a small order this was also fine. We heard nothing back about a delivery. We called them back to see when they could deliver and were told that they didn t call back because they had no soil. Quite disappointing as we would have just had the turf and that would have been fine. Which we did. We arranged a delivery to my husbands work as it was much closer for them and they said they weren t able to deliver to our house. We explained to two people while ordering that the delivery would need to be between business hours, both people said that was fine to do and one lady said she would add this information to the delivery for us and we paid. On the day we expected the delivery, it still hadn t arrived 10mins after the latest time we had all agreed. I called the company to check where it was, as we would be able to wait if it wasn t far away. The person who I spoke to just said he didn t know but knew it was on the truck. I explained that the timing had been arranged. He then disappeared off the call to try and find out. He came back on just saying he still wasn t sure but it might be an hour or so. I then explained again that that wouldn t work for us and as the times had already been agreed I didn t understand what had gone wrong. Instead of trying to resolve our problem I was just told that we shouldn t have been told they d deliver it within certain times because they can t do that. As no one was there to receive the order it went back to lindow for them to call later that day to re arrange a slot for us. That didn t happen and we had to call back ourselves the day after. They were very vague about when they could deliver just saying they didn t know when they could do it. To make matters worse on the same day my sister in law saw their truck delivering on her estate only 10 minutes from our house but we were told it wasn t possible to deliver to us! Seemingly very accommodating while they are taking your money but afterwards couldn t really care less! We had a refund and got the turf elsewhere and they were far more professional!

Poor quality top soil. Told screened to 8mm (also said this on their website)turns out it was 18mm. Probably 20% of it was rubbish (large stones, twigs etc.). To be fair they said if I was short of soil because of all the rubbish in it I should call back & they would sort extra. Called them to see what they could do & told I would be called back.....nothing. No returned call despite calling them again & being told again they would call back. Disappointed as they were recommended.

Ordered 300 Sq meters of turf best price and best quality in Cheshire, turf had only been cut Hour before it was delivered took two days to lay and turf was still in perfect condition when we finished. After 4 days cricket club took 24sq meters I had left and it was still green and lush.

After being recommended to visit here before getting turff from the likes of B&Q I thought I would give it a go. I was not disappointed excellent quality and you can just turn up and get some, no need to order for delivery if your just getting a few square meters. Its layed well and growing strong, bit dry on a couple of edges but I did stop watering it for a few days while away.

So far so good. Friendly staff..good prices..now to get the turf laid. It certainly looks good quality so we are excited to get it down now. Will post pic when established.

Rang Wednesday 18/04 to confirm availability of turf and was told if we wanted to collect they need a days notice and to ring the next day, Booked in the job with a landscaper friend of mine for the Friday and rang the Thursday at 10am to order only to be told no collections till Saturday onwards, really poor service. Update: Managed to move the job around with my landscaper so placed an order but just had a rather snotty phone call saying they would cancel my order as they didnt want me receiving such poor service some people cant take criticism
