I have been using Weedman for about 4 yrs and their product is superior to every other company that I’ve used. Their customer service was rocky during Covid but let’s face it, most places are struggling to find people that want to work. For the past year or so they have staffed up and their on point. Bill at Weedman Wilmington has done an outstanding job with providing me the best lawn care service possible. He cares and knows what to do when it comes to the services provide.
I have called and spoke to them and also left messages and cannot get a call back to start service. They were supposed to call and get a credit card to start service and I cannot even get someone to return a call. Maybe they’re answering service is on the skids, and I believe like most companies ,they were having a hard time getting enough help. This is going on two weeks. I do not have any missed calls.
We have used Weed Man since we moved into our house 2 years ago. It needed a lot of work. Happy to say that thanks to Weedman, it’s the best lawn we have had. We do NOTHING else but keep it cut properly. In our last house after years of trying to fight the weeds ourselves, a friend told me about Weedman. A year later when we sold the house, everyone commented on how beautiful our lawn was. They are quick to respond if needed for a visit in between treatments and very professiona. I would highly recommend them.
Decided to use Weed Man. Terrible customer service after they have your payment info they screw you and don’t call you back as they can’t even afford to hire someone to answer the phone making you leave a voice mail with no response! They must have came out and just watered my grass as weeds have gotten worse after over 2 weeks since they sprayed. Called them 3 times and of course had to leave voice mail. NO CALL BACK! Total rip off! Beware and do not use them for you weed control! Pics of weeds after 2 weeks of spraying!
Had Weed Man about a year now. The original landscapers who laid the sod were clearly incompetent. It was a disaster that I couldn't repair by myself. I called Weed Man and now my lawn is up to a more than respectable standard. That might not sound flattering but it actually IS flattering considering how pathetic and sad, dead and depressing my apocalyptic lawn looked BEFORE I called them. Thank you Weed Man!
I have been using Weedman for more than 5 years and I am quite satisfied with their work. Prior to that I used and switched few companies. Weed control is not an easy job in this part of the world and Weedman has been the best out of all I used before.
Early spring 4 years ago my yard was covered in weeds and I contracted with Weed Man to handle the problem. They got rid of the weeds and also were able to eliminate the Bahia grass that I hated. I am now into my 4th year with them and the lawn is looking better than it has been in many years. I am very well pleased with their services and plan to continue.
Needed a lot of help, so decided to give them a try. So far, well pleased.

Responsive, Independent, knowledgeable. They are accommodating and have kept our lawn free of pests and looking gorgeous, despite neighbors having issues. I am very pleased and would definitely recommend them!!
My lawn looks great but their communication is a bit lacking. I can never get anyone to call me back. They just send an automated text stating they will be at my property on such and such date and time.

Matt called me just a few days ago asking what my plans were this season. I told him I was no longer interested and hung up. He called back immediately so I rejected the number and blocked it. I just got a call from another number from the same guy, with same voice, asking the same question. Hey Matt, call me again and youll be hearing from New Hanover PD.
Each application the lawn, a new lawn, looked worse. Communication was slow. Spent a lot of money and not satisfied.
Best lawn care company in the area! The technician who takes care of our lawn is very knowledgeable and always does what he says he will do. Wouldnt use anyone else.

Been using weed man for a decade never had a problem .... when I call they come fix the issue. I do their annual contract which does not include things such as core airation etc... I do wish those additional applications were more affordable.
Terrible. I had used them for a full season with not any noticeable difference from what I was doing myself. The biggest difference I first noted was stains on the lower part of my house after one of their treatments. They denied it was from them. We ended up re-painted the lower part of the house as the stains could not be moved. Then, at the end of one season , after another one of their treatments, three quarters of my lawn sudden started to die by the end of the week.It was if Round-up was applied. Once again, they assured me it could not be anything they did. It was an interesting observation however that the one section of our lawn that was doing fine was the same section we asked them not to treat as it was new sod as of that year. Also, no one else outside of my lawn lines was having and lawn issues (i.e dying) ..interesting .. In their defense, even though they denied any wrong doing, they offered some treatments for free to help it come back. I gave them a chance, but in the end, there was little to no change or recovery and we agreed to cut the cord. I even paid them for their last treatment to show them I was not after something for nothing... It took THREE YEARS for my lawn to come back which did include us having to re-sod some sections. We decided to do a bit more research on weeds, centipede etc and do the treatments ourselves these days. We now have a beautiful stand of grass again, proving once again . IF you want something done RIGHT . Do it yourself I HATE paying people to ruin our things when we hire them to maintain them (or make them better)
Weed-Man leads the way in keeping our lawn(s) weed Free. We have tried the other(s) and by far WEED-MAN has done everything right.
