Cody and Daniel did a great job cleaning up my yard. I just needed the leaves cleaned up from the grass but they didn t stop there. They got leaves that were hidden in the shrubs and every other nook and cranny. They mowed and edged the whole lawn too. They worked fast as a team and cared about the results. Ive used Vinedresser for lawn service for almost two years. They are professional and responsive. Today, Vinedresser, specifically Cory and Ryan, pruned one of my larger crepe myrtle trees. This company has the BEST customer service of just about ANY company Ive dealt with in my entire life, and that its a landscaping company, just makes it more unusual. Im a senior so thats a LONG time! They did an absolutely GREAT job from the time Bre and Jose came out to give me an estimate! Then the crew in the office sent me everything in writing including a timetable. I have spoken to Sarah and Emily. They are ALL super helpful and customer service oriented. Frank and Gerardo came out to put in the sod and pine straw and once again, incredibly kind, customer service oriented and did an absolutely GREAT job. I didnt get the name of the folks that came to spray weed killer and fertilizer, but they were also FANTASTIC! Just amazing folks at this company! When I mentioned this to Frank he said they discuss customer service at all their meetings. Not surprised! Just a fantastic company!!!!! Update 11/27/24: Steven & Michael are great guys and true professionals. We LOVE our Christmas lights (almost as much as we love not having to be the ones to get on ladders to hang them!). Vinedresser has done a great job for us on every project and we highly recommend them!

Charlie and Juan arrived promptly at the 8AM time of service. They listened to my concerns and all bushes etc were trimmed and areas cleaned and hauled away. Very professional and courteous. I use this company on a regular basis and never disappointed.

My house is beautiful. The crew that did my house were excellent. I don t see an extension cord anywhere. They were professional and very kind. They even helped me with new moose that I bought and had to put together that lights up. The company has also taken care of my flower beds and trimming. Always top notch work. I hired Vinedresser recently to mulch all my beds. I especially liked the fact that they sprayed weeds/pulled, and edged before mulching. Thomas, Aldener, and Charlie came by yesterday to do our monthly bed maintenance, then they stopped again today just to check and make sure we were happy and spent a few additional minutes making sure everything was to perfection. Appreciated that extra check in!

This company is amazing! They were fast too and did exactly what I asked! The woman Bre who answers the phone, was so nice and accommodating. You can tell she really cares about the work she does for the company. We had 2 services with them- Fall clean up and Christmas light install. The guys on each crew were outstanding!! The fall clean up came over first thing. It was Ryan, Corey and Henry- these guys worked hard and fast. Trimmed all my hedges, cleaned up leaves and even hand picked weeds since I do not use chemicals. They even left some of the flowering plants alone so the bees and butterflies could still feed. After they left, the Christmas light crew showed up (same day!) which was- CJ, Will and Jordan. These guys did a fantastic job and quick too. They got all the lights on my house and along my walkway in 2 hours?! I couldn t believe how professional these young men were. Vinedresser Lawn and Landscape continues to provide five-star service for us. For the first time, we had a team trim our bushes, and they were excellent in every way. The team --- Charlie, Alderner, and Thomas --- made sure they understood how we wished the bushes to be pruned and shaped, and they proceeded to perform the trimming and cleanup in a quick and efficient manner. Today, Charlie and Aldener took on a full cleaning of my weeds in my beds, which covers alot of ground. As always, Vinedresser, and they, went beyond the call of duty and took care of several extra elements that needed attention. I am very appreciative of Vinedressers commitment to affordability, professionalism and doing superb work. They always go beyond expectations, which is rare these days! Vinedresser was out today to install sod in our backyard. Ryan and Thomas are the best. They are hard workers care about what they are doing and they made sure we were happy with the sod and their service. I could not be happier. Thank you,

Overall we were satisfied with our sod installation, however we had one small area at the curb (see pic) that did not root so Zachery came out to look at it. Zachery blamed the heat from the curb for this area not rooting which in my opinion if this were true then more areas along the curb wouldn t have rooted either. Because of the clause they do not stand by their work and did not offer a resolution. We literally only needed a piece of scrap sod to fix this and they wouldn t even offer this to us. To spend almost $2k for the sod install and not stand by your work isn t acceptable. We plan to have a few more areas sodded and will not be using Vinedresser for this. We also signed up for their insecticide program and have canceled it and contacted another company for an estimate. We were very pleased with Frank whom helped us with our sprinklers. Frank went above and beyond to help us.

I have been using Vinedresser for all of my landscaping needs for the past year. They are super professional, easy to deal with and produce a great result. Recently, I had Charlie, Dylan and Lucas out to my home to lay mulch throughout my beds, trim all of my bushes and remove a large bush from my front yard and install sod. Needless to say it was a great deal of work to be done in 93 degrees of sun. The team did a great job, cleaned up once they were done and my wife and I could not be happier. Thank you Charlie, Dylan and Lucas. Also, Emily in the office is a rock star!

Vinedresser has been doing a great job with fertilizing and weed control of our lawn for the last year. Neighbors complement us on how nice our grass looks, I have recommended Vinedresser as they are reliable to get the job done. I just started using Vinedresser for our lawn and landscaping needs. I will continue to use them from here on out. I have to say how impressed I am with everyone that I have dealt with. They have all been extremely professional. Excellent customer service is very hard quality to find these days. Steven came out and gave us our original estimate and he was very informative, he took the time to walk around the yard with my husband and myself explaining things to us in detail. John and Chad then came out and worked hard in the heat getting all of our flower beds cleaned up, sprayed for weeds and new mulch. They also took out a crape myrtle that the builder put in that was not in good shape. The only issue we had was the new tree was much smaller than we had expected so Bre in the office exceeded out expectations by searching out a much larger tree at a local grower that was more inline with what we had originally planed on getting. She then had Charlie and Alderner come out to replace the smaller tree with the larger tree. They both did an amazing job. Originally they thought they were going to have to drive the trailer up in the yard to get the tree installed. They were rockstars and were able to do it without doing that. They didnt want to damage the lawn with the trailer. Thank you Charlie and Alderner for going above and beyond to not damage the lawn. A huge shot out to all of the staff at Vinedresser, you definitely have a crew of people that care about the company they work for. Again so hard to find these days!!

I ve been using Vinedresser for my grass cutting needs for the past 2 years and they ve done a great job. Chad and John are the two main crew members who handle my lawn every two weeks. The grass is always neatly trimmed, they pay attention to detail. And always make sure the gate is securely closed so my dogs cannot escape! Chad and John are friendly and professional.

Today Roger & Jason were here for our now weekly maintenance and took a lot of care and consideration on our lawn considering the saturated conditions in some spots. They opted to hand mow and edge instead of using the larger equipment to reduce any damage or tracking in our yard. Our yard looks great and we really appreciate it!

Vinedresser replaced our lawn. WORST company ever. They charged us $2500+ and we have ended up with a lawn that is 40% weeds. When I called them to complain, their answer was, we dont guarantee our sod!!! Such service... NONE. Take your money and run. NEVER, EVER do business with this company. *BEWARE OF FAKE POSITIVE REVIEWS* Don t get scammed!! It s clear they are faking reviews on here when I m sorting by newest and there s a new 5* rating every hour multiple times a day. Everyone we know who uses Vinedresser is currently in the process of finding someone new and firing them or has already fired them. (4+ people) Our last house was half the property size and our landscapers there charged $60 less than this company and included lawn care, weeding, trimming, edging biweekly. Vinedresser over charges you for ONLY mow and edging and will try to charge you $600+ for bush trims that they will need to schedule 3 weeks out. We ended up finding someone on Thumbtack to come mulch because Vinedresser quoted us like $6,000 to do it. INSANE. Over the time we have used them they have: destroyed our fence and took over a month to come fix it, cut our sprinkler line 3+ times (came to fix it but never buried the line back in the ground), skipped mowing our fenced in area multiple times, skipped blowing leaves/grass cuttings multiple times on porch and in flower beds, skipped edging half of every flower bed/driveway edging and the cracks of our driveway, torn up our yard with their lawn mower tracks, and every time we have complained we have been met with attitude and carelessness. We have been using Vinedresser for almost a year now for all our lawn needs. When we moved to our new home last year the lawn was horrible. We have them do bi-weekly service at our business (Howard RV Center) and they come an do other extra services a few times per year. I have a little house surrounded by a lot of bushes which I had let get WAY out of hand. There were a couple of volunteer junk trees hiding in the tangle. And the spigots for my hoses were unreachable. Thank goodness I called Vinedresser and they sent Charlie, Nasir and Tre out. In an amazingly short period of time, they had manicured all the hedges, trimmed my giant wall of bamboo, removed the junk trees and rediscovered the spigots. And they cleaned up every bit of debris. I have used them for lawn maintenance for a couple of years with great satisfaction, but this was a much more strenuous and demanding job. They came, they saw and they conquered! Now I dont have to worry about my neighbors reporting me to the City, which was becoming a worrying possibility. Many thanks to Vinedresser! this is my second year with Vinedressers lawn cutting service and never thought Id be leaving a comment regarding mowing a lawn. I will say that the gentlemen that cut my lawns have always been receptive to my suggestions in how I want things done. I have a lot things going on in my yards from various walkways,flower/shrub beds and stone work that Ive done over the past 3-4 years and cutting intervening grass can be a nuisance. However Ive been pleased with their workmanship and this week in particular. Art and Michael did a superb job in trimming around the walkways and beds to the point where it looked like a work of art. It was exactly cut and trimmed they way I imagined it should be. Keep coming back... I look forward to you guys again.

Treated like a VIP and Bree and Frank are top-notch! Took my yard from Patches of grass and dirt to perfection! Very thorough as well. Good updates on the property as they were progressing. Soil samples to confirm that we have the right grass in the right areas. Can t say enough good stuff!

Contacted Vinedresser for an out of control poison ivy problem in my backyard. They were booked out for a good month but squeezed me in ASAP they came out sprayed the whole fence line and any other areas they saw the ivy 2 weeks later after everything had died off they came back out to clean up all the dead vines and sprayed all the areas a second time. The guys went above and beyond what was necessary on the clean up and even cleaned out some areas that weren t on the estimate. I was very pleased with how professional everyone was from the girls who did the booking to the guys who came out and did the work. I will definitely recommend vinedresser and would use them again in future for any lawn maintenance needs I have.

Just wanted to take a minute and thank Bre, Frank, Gerardo and Zach for a great job laying Bermuda sod today. They also aerated and spread sand over bald spots in the yard with the hope that the grass will fill in over the summer. Vinedresser is an incredibly professional and friendly landscaping company. First, the guy who came out to do the assessment and estimate was wonderful, offering great insights. Having used another company for a few years, we have been amazed at the positive differences. Yesterday Alex and Andrew came out to trim a number of shrubs and hedges that we have nurtured for 10 years. They also laid out pine straw. They did an incredible job and importantly, were communicative and friendly. Alex was aware of the care we had put in and were sensitive to our requests. He also offered important advice. Cleanup was wonderful. The next day office staff member Emily sent out a follow up email asking about our satisfaction with the job. Our other company despite high costs never did a follow up. Vinedresser is off to a great start.

Vinedresser came out and fixed up my front flower beds with new plants and mulch. The crew did a great job and knocked the work out quickly, making sure I was happy with the way the plants were going to be set up beforehand and that I was satisfied at the end of the job. The communication from the office was top notch as well, and easy even when I had to reschedule initially. Charlie, Alex, and Nate came back out to install plants that werent available on the initial install and made sure that everything was just the way I wanted before they left. This was the worst experience of my life dealing with this company!! Let me start by saying the owner is very disrespectful and over charging. They run through jobs and do a very very poor job. Just had new sod installed in our front yard after years of struggling with a random assortment of grass types and weeds. All the Vinedresser staff (owner, office, yard employees) were so friendly and so accommodating with our needs. The men put topsoil & mulch in our flower beds and added brick edging as well. So glad I decided to use Vinedresser! Charles answered a 100 questions I had and made me realize I had made the right decision to use Vinedresser.

We hired Vinedresser to deep clean our yard and haul out years of piled leaves and branches they did an amazing job! We have multiple Oak Trees that drop an insane amount of leaves and pollen pods that are basically magnetized to the ground. The crew (Alex, Michael, and Andrew) did an extremely thorough job both blowing and raking every nook and cranny behind a shed, under hedges, around a fish pond, etc the exterior equivalent of a white glove test. Part of the job was to haul out a massive pile of leaves ~3ft high with a dump trailer. The crew was very careful to leave the most minimal tire tracks on the lawn, and even worked with my neighbor in spots where her property was affected (they blew her driveway as a courtesy and she texted me to say they were a good crew ). Quality of work aside, Alex, Michael, and Andrew showed up when they said they would (which almost *never* happens with contractors), were very transparent with the plan for the day, communicated regularly and professionally, did not exceed the original estimate, and were super nice to boot! We are very satisfied which says a lot bc my husband is a construction superintendent so his standards are HIGH! and we would 100% recommend!

Vinedresser is the 5th and best lawn care service I had in 5 years. Vinedresser supplies the entire package: fertilization, weeding, grass cutting; everything my lawn needs to loo, be and stay healthy. For 4 years I paid a monthly premium to lawn services who thought it was OK to take my money while providing no proof that they performed the service they charged me $70month for. Freedom Lawns and Weedman both charged me enormous prices while providing me absolutely no guidance or assistance. They blamed me for.the overgrowth of weeds in yard (which was the worst looking yard on the block.) Just cut your grass regularly, they said. That was the only advice I ever got. Do not contract with a company that provides chemicals only. They are a ripoff. Vinedresser, on the other hand, is a full service lawncare company and after five years of the worst lawn the block I now have one of the best,-looking lawns on the block thanks to Vinedresser. I spent $1000s yearly for years and was bullied (and service cut off) if I didnt pay on time, but Vinedresser knows I will pay when I get the money, and they do not cut off my service. Even if the bill is over $200 they continue to service my lawn. I am a senior on a fixed SS income. The girls in the office treat meet like Im a relative. Thats why I love Vinedresser. And my yearly lawncare budget with everything included is less than those other companies that just smeared chemicals on my lawn and charged me $250 or more for each application and they could not prove they had made. I could go on and on raving about Vinedresser, because they are that good, but my most valuable prize is being able to pull into my driveway and enjoy my lawn which I am no longer ashamed of. Its night time, so I cant take pictures of my lawn, but Im sure you can tell Im a real satisfied customer, just from the length of this Post

Today, 1/30/24, Frank and Geraldo with Vinedresser Lawn & Landscape completed Winter pruning of our ornamental grasses and Crape Myrtle trees They did a fantastic job and their cleanup was near if not perfect. I highly recommend Vinedresser lawn & Landscape. On 2/8/24, Charles applied fertilizer, pre & post emergent. Charles was efficient and fast. He paid attention to detail.

Hired them due to needing some help. I had to weedeat after they left and then cut the grass due to parts being 6-8 inches high. Be sure you know what you are getting out of the cutting before hiring. I guess they done cut weeds over a certain height or near a pool.

We have been very happy with Vinedresser, using them for lawn mowing, weed control and fertilization, and mulching of our beds. They are responsive and give reminders when services are upcoming. Vinedresser did a wonderful job. Charlie and Trey were professional, nice and thorough. We have a lot of flowers, shrubs and trees, and they were careful in cleaning the flower beds, mulching and trimming up everything. Our yard looks great, and they were very nice to work with. ***Update***: first of all, the owners of Vinedresser absolutely stick to their 100% satisfaction guaranteed motto. I had all intent of paying the bill and moving on to another company. I received a call from someone at the company (owner maybe?) and discussed the issues and what was expected. After a productive conversation I decided to give them another shot and Im glad i did. They just finished and the yard looks great. They spent considerably more time (over an hour) to get the job done right. I feel confident they listened to my concerns and will be looking into adding more of their services in the future. To be honest, I havent been impressed so far. I hired them based on impressions of a couple of friends. After repeated scheduling issues on their part ( I understand things happen, didnt really bother me ) they finally showed up. Two guys showed up ( one cutting and the other weed eating) and spent approximately 15 minutes on the yard and left. It definitely showed what little time was spent and had to call them to come back to finish the job correctly. One or two spots with weeds still standing.

I went with this company based on their 4.8 rating with glowing reviews and photos of nice work and hoped for a hands-off no worry experience but what I got was well below par of what I d expected. I will attempt to be fair and point out the good and bad. The first crew came in and did cut and clear a lot of the overgrowth on the property which consisted of a lot of vines and general brush growth. They did well there. The issues I was left with was: the hedging was uneven and gapped in spots, the bed edging and straw install was sloppy. A couple of beds and other spots were left looking pretty ragged. My biggest peeve was the lack of a good cleanup as there was a lot of small debris from both the work and the recent tropical storm. I did complain to the company office and Ops Manager after I had time to look over the yard. They did respond and another crew came out two days later and noted that the original crew did a sloppy job. The second crew did attempt to rectify the issues and did to a degree but they seemed to be in a hurry and inconvenienced by having to clean up the previous crew s mess, even commenting that they were not told the backyard was involved when I was unlocking the gates for them. In the end, am still less than overwhelmed by the overall quality of the work and lack of detailed cleanup which I d expect any such work to involve. It seems few lawn/landscaping services rake up fine debris anymore, it s all the use of blowers which in my opinion isn t the same in terms of finishing the work, just blowing the refuse/debris off to one side. Perhaps I should have asked about additional options to make the look of the yard complete/better? One of my neighbors came by later and mowed and then cleaned up the yard making it look much better. Attention to detail is everything! I signed off on the work because I was very tired and frustrated having to deal with it over a 3 day period considering other obligations and stresses I have. Nevertheless, at just under 2K paid, am still disappointed and won t be using this company again nor recommending them. -B. Hardee, Wilmington, NC

Vinedresser does an amazing job. We use them for mowing and replaced TruGreen with them for our lawn maintenance. We have also had them to shrub trimming. All of their work is top notch. If there ever is a problem they come back out and fix it. If they are not going to be able to make an appointment I get an email letting me know and what the rescheduled date is. I highly recommend them!

While I don t personally use this lawn care service, my next door neighbors do. I think it s pretty ridiculous to continue mowing someone s grass in December whenever everyone s grass is brown and hasn t grown for well over a month at this point; since the temperatures have dropped below 35° many nights so far. I share a side yard with these neighbors and this company is continuing to service their lawn while also harming mine. There are spots that are completely taken down to the dirt, plus I have noticed that they have somehow cut my neighbors gutter extension spouts and thrown the pieces into my yard/flower beds, as well as always leaf blowing their lawn trimmings onto my driveway.

Steven & Andrew did a wonderful job on our property. They were great communicators and double checked with us before they left to make sure that we were happy with the mulching beds! Kudos, guys!!!

This company came over to clean the yard beside me and ended up blowing a lot of leaves in my bed and in my yard. Also, they were weed eating the mailboxes and tearing up the wood on the bottom of the boxes. The mailboxes are not out on the property they were cleaning. They are actually located on my property. Not sure why they would weed eat them.

The crew from Vinedresser was great! Our property needed major work done since it had not been pruned well in 2 years! Tree removal, large overgrowth in our backyard, pruning of all the trees and bushes around the house, removal of all the limbs and debris. The crew was professional and worked very hard. They were prompt and polite. When they finished the property was clean and organized. We were very pleased with their service! They also do our regular lawn maintenance and do a great job of that! I used Vinedresser for 3 or 4 weeks. First one or two were good, nothing exceptional. Third mow was OK, but during clean up my outdoor furniture and covered patio was covered with grass clippings. Had to clean this up myself. I emailed them and they said they would note it for the crew. Had mowing done again yesterday. Furniture and patio again covered with grass clippings. Additionally, it looked like they went out of their way to blow more clippings into the pool. What a mess. I emailed them to complain again and told them to stop service. No apologies, no sorry. Just an OK that they would cancel service. Can t speak for all the crews, but the crew that did my home in Leland had little if any pride in workmanship or pride in quality.

I think when evaluating a contractor there are several things to consider, but it basically comes down to things. They are would, you hire them again and would you recommend them to your friends. In both cases, I would not hesitate in selecting Vinedresser for all my landscaping needs. They actually were able to move my sod, mulch, garden beds and trimming job up in their schedule. They showed up earlier than stated and finished earlier than promised. They are and should be very proud of the quality of work they provide.

Poorly run company. I called a few weeks to inquire about a monthly cutting service. Priced me at $65 (a little high in my opinion,) to cut, edge, weed eat, and blow my half acre. Date was set, then I got pushed back a week. First job was unacceptable. One of the spottiest cuts I ve seen. Didn t really weed eat at all. Edging was alright. I called and they were willing to make things right and sent a crew out a few days later. Second go at it was better, so I had them give me quote to for cleaning up some beds, hedging bushes, and laying pine straw. Job looked pretty good. Problem was they overcharged my about $75 dollars. Called and was told the extra was for the price of the pine straw. Problem is that the pine straw was in the original quote. They admitted that the quote was confusing but did not offer to right the wrong. I asked to terminate my service and they said ok and let me off without trying to save the business. Thinking I m probably not the first and won t be the last!

We hired Vinedresser. They NEVER showed up. They gave us 3 different days in one week and never came.

These people have an extra level of care that goes beyond lawn maintenance. Theyre very reasonable and thorough too.

The lawn care team that does the service does a good job, however, there is a huge failure to communicate between the office staff and the lawn care team. After using their services for several months, there were at least four times where I had to email repeatedly and call in order to correct or emphasize what I needed. Staff is nice, but there is breakdown in sharing of information that is frustrating.

Im a new home owner in NC. Vinedresser is in the process of restoring my lawn which was overrun with weeds. They arrived ahead of schedule, took care of a property that had been neglected for over a year. Excellent long needle pine straw installed with great curb appeal. Would highly recommend.
