Over two months ago, this company's employees caused damage to my vehicle—a noticeable dent—while performing landscaping duties on our premises. Although I didn’t witness the incident directly, I am certain it was caused by their employees. Three weeks after the dent, I observed their workers from my office window hitting my car with a leaf blower and blowing rocks toward my vehicle. I went outside to discuss proper practices with the employees, but unfortunately, they did not speak enough English to understand my concerns. I called the company and left a detailed message, but six weeks later, I have yet to receive a response. I strongly advise against using this company. There is a complete lack of accountability, and I am concerned about how they are communicating job expectations to employees. This experience was both frustrating and disappointing.
We hired Garrick-Santo Landscape Company to build and install a new raised garden bed in our back yard. Their Account Manager Joe visited in mid-May to meet with us, reviewed our requirements, discussed potential layout options and took measurements to work up an estimate. We were provided a quote with reasonable pricing within a few weeks. Despite the busy Spring landscaping season, the Garrick-Santo team kept us updated on their schedule and work began within two weeks of receiving the quote. The job was completed within three days despite a severe heat wave. The build crew and landscapers were above and beyond professional in carrying out the project, with great attention to detail, including replanting some bushes that needed to be relocated. The final result looks fantastic! We now have a wonderful vegetable garden for the first summer season at our new home. Highly recommended! A++++

We have been using this company for over 10 years. We have been more than happy with how our yard is maintained and groomed. They are on a timely schedule---If there is ever have a question, they respond immediately. Over the years they have planted, seeded, removed overgrown bushes, groomed and carried through with seasonal clean ups. I highly recommend this Company!!

Ive utilized Garrick services for some time for various landscape projects both maintenance and rework. The scheduling, implementation and follow up , both managing the job with their workers as well as with me, were professional and thorough. If there were any modifications needed, they were addresses immediately. They are not a fly-by-night company and its obvious theyve been doing this for some time. Theyve designed my yard from a barren weed wasteland to a show piece in the neighborhood. Ive maintained it since, but they do they deeper level modifications that I cannot handle.

Professional Landscaping service. We use them for our commerical building located in Malden and are extremely pleased with the results. When I first met with them I let them know I wanted our building landscaping to always look new and they have kept it that way. They also provide snow removal services for us and have been dependable - never an issue. I would recommend them to anyone looking for professional work!

Meticulous in providing services
The Garrick-Santo crew who clean up in the spring, come every week to take care of my property, and clean up in the fall are very hard experienced workers. My property always looks great, and I know my husband and I could never accomplish on our own what they do for us. Mandi Maloney has also taken great care of us in planning new projects, and always being there when we have questions. This is a very good company.
The lawn renovation and compost blow has worked out extremely well. The new lawn construction area was done very well and in a timely manner. Very happy with both jobs! Thanks.

Dont bother. I put a written request in a week ago. No reply in writing a week later. I called them today in follow up and of course they cant find my request. Customer service doesnt seem to exist here.
They made our backyard a wonderful and peaceful place to enjoy the seasonal wind and the sounds of trees and blue sky! The their crew came and work, I can trust them very thorough job every time we requested. I am looking forward for spring with some colors in my front yard in the year 2024!
They do high quality work. We had a lawn installed and were provided with instructions on how to care for it for the first few months. It has since grown in and looks lovely! We also have our regular lawn care done by them, and they come on-time, do their work quickly, and do a great job.

Have residential property that needs 50 yards of mulch for landscaping . The crew arrives and the new mulch is spread with excellent results and they clean up and are gone in 4 -5 hours! This has taken smaller companies 3-4 days in the past. No job is too big for them!
I have been a long time customer with Garrick Santos. They have done everything from yard design to maintenance to building patios and garden walls, I have never been disappointed. I love the spaces they have created for my family to enjoy! They are always attentive and Anita is so great to work with. I wouldnt think of using another landscaping company ever.

After cycling through multiple years with different companies every year,I discovered Garrick-Santo. Thomas has been my point of contact since day one. He is very professional,listens to your needs,responds in a very timely manner. All around great experience dealing with Thomas. The quality of the work done by the workers is also the best quality I ve seen. They come every week on time at the exact same time. Work hard,whether it s the weekly mowing or the cleanups or any other work performed it always comes out fantastic.

As a past landscaping professional I have not been able to find a full service company as good as Garrick-Santo. The industry has become saturated with fly by night brightly painted vehicles. Unfortunately that is not always full service or a go to company for any outdoor circumstance. I highly recommend Garrick-Santo Landscaping for all outdoor services.
Anita was great. She treated our home as if it was hers. We hosted a wedding shower at the house. When I came home from work the day before, there she was making sure everything was just right. Some plants didnt take and they were replaced immediately. She was accessible, friendly, knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. Something we all could use these days!! The workers were professional and werent on there phones half the time. Great Company!! 9/2/21

this review is purely on getting the initial quote. we have an L shaped lot, 0.5 acres of grass, all flat in back, and a small slope in front. Nothing crazy. we were priced incredibly high, just below $6,000 dollars to provide the basic service which included mowing. This did not include any fertilizer or anything special. That would bump us up from basic. To relate, you can buy at least 3 John Deere rider mowers for that cost. I also got an additional quote to fill-in an area with dirt on the slope. They priced this one time job at about $4,000. (I hired another company and they priced me $800 for the same thing). Due to this ridiculously high cost estimate(s), (almost triple cost of other competitor companies in the area), we decided not to become their customer. I wish I would have not wasted my time with this company when getting estimates. I have to say they must make a killing when they charge at a minimum of 3x the going rate and people actually sign. I hope this helps others and you call other companies for estimates and not just rely on this one.
Very nice job with the transformation of our backyard. Had some trouble with communication with the company, but COVID may have played into that. Great recommendations for what to plant and where. Quick and professional installation once we were finally able to get things scheduled.
Garrick - Santo has been doing my snow removal and landscaping for almost thirty years. Two weeks ago they did some landscaping in front of my home, planting a variety of shrubs and plants. They did a masterful job selecting the plants and installing them. We are extremely pleased with their work. They continue to give us excellent service, they are efficient and reliable. I would recommend them without reservation.

I spent all summer dealing with these people trying to get a proposal for a wall done, I stated clearly my desires in the beginning, even had the area staked out. That info was largely ignored, my designer was changed, i had to run therough the whole scope again, samples i didnt request were left in my yard for weeks until i finally asked they be removed, and then to boot, when i finally get a design i could statrt to work with, but still needed revision, they wanted me to pay for a design change to reduce one wall by a bit. Let these people focus on commercial jobs, not set up to work with homeowners.
