Freeman Landscape Inc in Wilmington

This company did work for my HOA. They left pieces of pipe behind thrown on grass. They left ground dug up and we’re generally sloppy. They must not take too much pride in their work.

I have lived in one of Wilmington’s Luxury apartment complexes for over 5 years. The 1st 4 photos show the 2 entrances into the complex. These pics are what I’m assuming was going to be a lush lovely mound of fresh dirt and mulch with plants and flowers. All I see are plants that are either dead or just never took to the soil. The rest of the property shows exposed sprinkler hoses, no support in the dirt for adding mulch or pine straw. It’s a mess! I’m truly embarrassed for all of the tenants that we are living and surrounded with the unprofessional look of the property. GV is in need of some attention to detail!!!

Worst landscaping company in Wilmington! If you want an over priced company then use these guys. They also messed up our yard and the owner didn’t nothing about it. You’ve been warned! Stay far away! Just read the other negative reviews.

Freeman Landscaping recently provided the landscaping and irrigation for our new home. They did a superb job. They had separate teams working on both the irrigation and the planting. Both teams worked together to make sure our final product was top notch. Terry Sanders oversees the installation work and was fantastic at following up and handling any of our issues. I am a VERY particular customer and at the end of the day I am quite satisfied with the final product. Three things in particular stood out on this job from my perspective as a homeowner. The first was attention to detail. The irrigation team handled the piping of the downspouts to the street as well as the drainage system from our backyard. In Carolina Beach municipal code specifies that all stormwater must be piped or graded toward the street. These guys made 100% certain that we had piping capacity to handle whatever the downspouts and yard drain could deliver. They even went as far as to advise us on a method to add an additional screen to keep our yard drain free of ongoing debris. The second item was customer interaction. From beginning to end they touched base on details to make sure each item was to our satisfaction. In particular was plant placement and irrigation zone layout. Jim Freeman had done some very detailed work in designing our backyard living space but we had been a little less specific about the front yard. The installers made sure they looped us in on the front yard to get each detail correct. The third thing that really made this an exceptional experience was the follow-up. Terry handled that aspect of the work and showed up personally to make sure any small adjustments were completed to spec. Terry is a good communicator both by cell phone and email and he follows up very professionally. Jim Freeman has really assembled an impressive organization, from the front office that answers incoming calls to the team that delivers. Freeman is a larger company and frankly I have always preferred boutique style landscaping companies, but Jim has retained all of the great things about a boutique company and evolved them into a larger organization that executes with the same attention to detail and keeps customer satisfaction a #1 priority. A+++

They leave mud skits and miss patches of overgrown grass at my apartment complex and are very standoffish and unsociable when approached. They trim hedges quickly with no symettry or concern for appearance and leave very unattractive bushes in their wake. Do not seem like very skilled knowledgeable or trustworthy people to hire

Freeman landscape provided me with a professional turf evaluation. They were responsive to my individual needs and spent time helping to educate me on the situation at hand. I also feel comfortable working with them, since they have been in the business and area for a very long time.

I spoke with Jeremy approximately 2-3 months ago and he said he would stop by and seed my open lot. After several weeks and not seeing ANYONE nor hearing from ANYONE I called again. He said he would be out that week (Tuesday to be exact) . Guess what??? Your correct ! I have not heard from ANYONE from this company. And that's been well over a month ago???? Not sure how this plan does business but That's not who I want to deal with. I don't want to beg someone to spend my money with.

on 12/12/13 Freeman lawn care of Wilmington was cutting grass at the Windsor apartments in Jacksonville NC, My down stairs neighbor witness several of the guys keeping walking back and forth looking up to my apartment balcony, When i came outside that day i notice both my 200.00 longboards were missing. When i confronted the guys along with my office manager at my apartment they denied it and left the property immediately for about 20-30 mins until my office manager called their boss to make them come back at this time the police was called, officers spoke with my neighbor who witness them put a ladder up on my balcony but she didn't see what exactly they were taking but was able to describe the guys who she saw down to what they were wearing at the end of the day they got away with it there is no doubt in my mind when they left earlier after they were confronted that they dropped my stuff they stole from me off somewhere else, i hope these people don't get hired again and i am doing everything to make sure they don't, have a little respect for people its Christmas time. Hopefully next time they do background checks on all the employees they hire.
