Our business uses LU. They make us look great! Their team works smart and efficiently so as to not disturb the employees or visitors . They’re clean and leave everything looking so professional.
Sam came out and serviced our property today. He did a great job
They not only did not improve my lawn and landscape they damaged mature ornamental shrubs shrubs with unskilled pruning and were not responsive.
They are the poorest excuse for a landscape company!! Always an excuse why they did not mow my yard! Brunswick Forest should never even entertained contracting them based on the reviews on Google! Don’t waste your time!! If it rains the least little bit they will not mow! I’m so frustrated! Mighty funny the rest of Brunswick Forest is mowed except Us!! Wow!! Done!
We paid to have our back yard cleared, filled, regraded, and sodded. The yard still ponds even after their "repair" and we are left with the same muddy yard we had before we paid them to fix it. Their reps stopped contact with me after the "repair" failed. I regret not going with the other landscaping company that quoted the job. They were higher, but it would have been worth it. I am out thousands of dollars and am not sure what to do as I have never been in this position before. It's a shame since I had several other yard projects planned. I have to delay those now and find a new landscaper.
The project was the installation of a pergola kit, new paver patio, and associated landscaping. The project was completed last December. This spring the landscape bed was full of Bermuda grass emerging through the pine straw. Upon investigation I discovered they had created the shrubbery bed by placing upside down sod from the patio area in the over the entire planting bed. Anyone familiar with landscaping knows that the Bermuda grass will continue to grow under those conditions. When I contacted Todd to ask for rectification, he did not return my call. In addition, it was very difficult to get him to complete the project in a timely manner. In fairness, the pergola was installed properly and the worker who laid the patio did an outstanding job. However, I would never use them again due to Todd's unresponsiveness and his willingness to execute an incompetent landscaping project and conceal it under pine straw.
Landscapes Unlimited is totally unreliable. The number of weeds in my yard quadrupled during the time from November 2017 until 2018 when I decided to switch to TruGreen--so, close to a year. Corey Caswell, the manager, as well as the owner, Todd McCabe, both came out to look at my yard because of the dissatisfaction I had with the number of weeds that were not being controlled, and they communicated to me that they would stay on top of my yard and check on it periodically. After that promise I never saw hide nor hair of either of them. The fertilization/weed control sprayings are too far apart during the time of year in which weeds grow quickly. For example, my yard was sprayed on May 2nd and not again until the end of July. By then, weeds had grown rampant. Not only that, the company has trouble maintaining technicians. When they lost a technician who entered the service, they just put all of their customers on hold because they had nobody to come out. That is inexcusable. The owner himself should have come out. Not only that, the company was unable to identify what I thought was a weed that had entered and started growing in my front bed and spread from an area adjacent to that bed almost all the way to the street and almost all the way to the driveway. When I hired the company, there was very of that "weed" in my bed--just a sprout here or there. But by September, there was so much of it in the bed that I had to completely dig out and gut the entire bed--four huge shrubs and all the dirt because the weeds were intermingled with the roots of the shrubs. The whole process will eventually cost close to $1,000, and I blame Landscapes Unlimited because they let this happen. And they have not responded to any of my emails. So when you are shopping for a lawn and landscape company to fertilize and maintain your lawn or even just to mow and edge, you should probably pass on this very irresponsible, unreliable one.
Struggled to get what we wanted and needed from LU. They grossly underestimated the amount of sod we would need so their original $$ estimate was way off in the end. When all was said and done, they wouldn’t respond to emails and calls about our sod as it started to come in. Several feet squares ended up being completely different grasses...
