Miller Lawn Services has provided a very fair-priced, excellent service the past four years. They cut, trim our lawn on a weekly basis; mulch the beds; prune bushes; fall clean-up; and provide a company for weed control and fertilization. This spring they installed nine bushes in the front yard. They provided healthy, large specimens as I requested and did a great job with the installation. Steve Miller has always promptly responded to my questions, requests or rare concern. We have a few neighbors who also use their service. I like the ease of online payment. Hired Miller Lawn Services to handle the snowplowing for the 2022 - 2023 season in Willoughby. The owner was very prompt in getting the initial quote for services out to us. The quote for plowing was very reasonable, so we signed on for the service. Their crews were very responsive during those few times as needed during this season that saw pretty light snowfall for the area compared to average. We are going to book them again for snow services in 2023-2024 as we were very pleased with the service we received. Thanks to all of the Miller team for taking care of us...

Your drivers need to slow down in our neighborhood on Third St. They fly down with no regard for the daycare on our street or anyone else. Our street isnt that long. We have been using Millers for years for our weekly lawn maintenance and they have continued to do well. They always show up weekly and do a great job, prior to using Millers we had multiple very unreliable care and we needed a company who would show up and they have proven they can!

Miller has been taking care of our property for several years. They ve installed 25 arborvitae, several Japanese Maples, 2 large spruce trees, many shrubs, and large rocks and flowers in our perennial garden. Miller landscaping started out good... Then the lawn service started going down hill. I talked with service people and were very disrespectful. They did another yard down the street and they would walk up to mine one worker at a time, my yard work was not being done. Noticed my weed wacking and edging wasnt be done. Called and texted main office with NO response. Sat outside to talk with workers the next week and found out the man was doing my neighbors yard not mine. Talked with forman and told him what was going on... He called me a liar... I have pictures. Forman said he was not going to mow my lawn anymore because I complained. Called and text the main office trying to talk with Steve and/or Mario again with no response. I even showed up to main office when they first opened to talk face to face. (No one to talk to and did not contact me either) Had to cut all ties with them. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND POOR LAWN SERVICE... Especially when a problem occurs, they dont want to hear about it. There are plenty of Lawn Services that will do a good job and not disrespect you.

We live in beachwood/shaker crest and had Miller Lawn service help us with a new construction and re do of back yard. Mario and team are wonderful. Expect very high level of professionalism. Mario is absolutely amazing I can t say enough how impressed I am with him. Lighting. Design. Tree selection. Drainage. I mean, really perfect. We are so impressed that we wanted to invite the team more and couldn t believe what a difference. Happy to be a contact person if any one has any specific questions re Miller lawn service. Mario and his crew did an outstanding job restoring our lawn and yard drains. Mario was prompt with his initial estimate and very responsive to the changes we proposed later. I had Miller redo the overgrown landscaping in the front of my house. I had an idea of what i wanted it to look like and Mario provided many photos of previous projects he had completed plus photos and descriptions of numerous alternate plant and shrubs. The quote was reasonable, they performed the work when they said they would and everything was done professionally and beautifully. Mario made a few on-the-spot changes to our plan and ran those past me first. His judgement was spot on and i plan to have Miller redo the other three sides of my home as well. Miller is also handling the weekly maintenance this year for the first time. So far, so good - additional review forthcoming at the end of the season.

I tried calling 3 landscape companies. No one responded except Miller lawn services. They gave me a prompt quote. The cleanup and mulching was excellent. The mulch was triple ground black mulch. Very fine. The best I ve had installed. I will definitely use them next spring. The mowing service is great as well. I will follow up at end of the season with a followup review after fall cleanup. Their website says they serve Lake County but they dont serve Mentor-On-The-Lake? Gave 2 stars because at least they were next day with their text message telling me they dont service the places that they say they do on their website.

They mailed us a decent proposal on snow removal and I reached out to have them look at additional snow removal for the back of the same property and they said twice they d be out to look and never came nor followed up. Business must be good lol

Steve was very responsive to my inquiries iin text and email. The gentlemen that completed the yard work were not only great at what they do, but also very kind. I went to throw trash out in my slippers and they moved the container closer to me so I didn t have to go outside (I didn t ask they just offered). Excellent job even better than expected.

Miller lawn could not help me

Miller Lawn Services planted several mature trees in both our front and backyards. The entire team worked very hard (we had a lot of rain that day) and they were on time and went above and beyond. All were a pleasure to work with even in hot, rainy, muddy conditions. We cant say enough about working with Mario - he is the ultimate A+ Professional. Not only is he an expert when it comes to trees - we havent received such awesome customer service anywhere else. He truly listens to his clients and goes out of his way to ensure the right trees are selected for the job. His vast knowledge about various kinds of trees, how they grow and thrive, is so extensive and impressive. They are the most advertised lawn care company on the radio. Last year ask them to come out and quote some pruning. The response was they would take my information and get back with me. Which they never did. Tried once again this week of June 1, 2020. First attempt salesman said he called but never did. The secretary said this time we will leave a message on his voicemail. Still no phone call. So imagine they did a service for you and it was poorly done. I now know why they advertise so much. The service must be so poor that they need a constant stream of new customers.

Steves team did a great job on our spring cleanup/mulching. Steve was very responsive and on time during each step of the process. I even added a last minute (big) job to the list and they tackled it with ease. Highly recommended!

They fly through the yard when cutting. They don t change up the pattern and leave mower marks, tracks and scalp the grass with the weed eaters. You can not talk to the employees as they are all foreign, don t speak English, and don t understand what you are saying. Keep the money local and get American workers.

I am not a customer of Miller landscaping but two out of three of my neighbors are. From everything I have seen they do excellent work but I am not a fan of the heavy tracks that they re riding lawnmowers leave ( looks like an ATV track meet). I have been asking the Miller landscaping techs to stop driving over my property (8 to 10 feet) for the past two years because their mowers leave skidmarks across my yard. They are putting a strain on the good relationship I have always had with my neighbor. And like the previous comment the owner is never available for questions or concerns.I personally would not use them if they were free.

I began to use Miller Lawn service for snow removal several years ago on the advice of a neighbor. They were extremely reliable. The next spring, the owner, Steve, helped me design a complete makeover for my home - new beds, shrubs, trees, everything! and it came out much better than I could have imagined. I can be picky when it comes to nursery stock but I never had to worry because they provided me better plants than I could have gotten myself. After I moved out of Willoughby, I hired Miller for my new home for which he did another major makeover (new beds, new lawn, trees, shrubs, walkway, new driveway, etc..) All my new neighbors stopped me afterwards to tell me I had the nicest home on the street. A rather subjective judgement but a nice compliment nonetheless and it attests to the quality and aesthetic harmony. Not all landscapers can put a bed together, blend the plants properly and have it look pleasing to the eye. They do beautiful work. Oh and they have serviced my business lot for many years now both in winter and summer and I have never had a problem. Great price and great service. As other reviewers have said, employees are professional and friendly. I would recommend them ( and do) to anyone for commercial or personal work.

I used Miller Services for the first time this year to do a Spring clean-up. I was a little worried that they wouldnt get to us, because I contacted them kind of late and the weather has been so rainy. But it all worked out great. When they came, one of them did a walk-around the house with me. I told him what I wanted done and he also told me what he thought should or shouldnt be done. Then they went to work and finished it all in one evening. My bill just came and even that was accurate and fair. Both my husband and I were very happy with the work.

The workers who show up to your house do quality work. However, the owner only communicates with you when its convenient for him. He rarely answers his phone and his voicemail box is full more times than not. He is condescending and will lie to save face. In my opinion, hes only successful because of his crew; he is arrogant, cavalier, and indifferent to his customers.

They seem to do fine work however I was quoted $865 and charged $1435 (actually $1530 including tax). I realize an estimate may be low, but a warning prior to completing the work is a good idea when its $600 off. Also, it took more than 3 months from the time I signed the contract to getting the work done. Summary: if you do get an estimate from Miller assume its low to get the job and you will be charged much higher once its complete months later.

Miller is awesome! Best local lawn care company out there. Always very responsive! Steve is always available to provide quotes and answer questions.

I contacted Steve Miller on the recommendation of a neighbor who has been using them for maintenance after my regular company couldnt complete the task or even respond in a timely, professional manner. Miller quoted immediately and did the work the same day ! With great attention to detail and care taken they get top marks.
