They did a great job on our landscaping and we are very happy.
The work was performed as promised. The materials are excellent and just as we had chosen out of the brochure. The installation required far more precision by Brandon's professionals than I had imagined. My wife and I are very pleased with the results. Hunter and Zack worked tirelessly for 2 days for over 10 hours both days cleaning the bushes, trimming, cleaning, and laying mulch around our entire house and it looks amazing and they did a wonderful job. Fully recommend them and they are awesome guys as well. 10/10 work!
To start, CherryOak Landscape is a thriving company that has there best interest in every aspect of the job that is needed to be performed and finished to customer satisfaction. Jacob is an outstanding leader by example and is understanding and willing to go above and beyond no matter the obstacle or road block that lays ahead of him. If there was a rating from 1-10 stars it would definitely be 30 of them!! I would recommend Brandon and his lovely committed team to anybody looking for anything to be done and held to high standards.
We have worked with this company and their staff, especially Charlie, is first rate. Consistent with following up, showing up on time, and getting the job done (and we're kind of picky). We would not hesitate to recommend Charlie and the crew for local landscaping projects. The work we've had them do is incremental and some upkeep, but we've been consistently happy with the results and communication. So nice to have a local company that returns phone calls in a timely manner!
Their lawn mowing crew would be better described as a demolition team. Three men on mowers horse playing in the backyard shooting the cuttings into the flower beds leaving large areas of un-mowed grass, skid marks , un-trimmed boarders and completely flattening our healthy fruit tree to the ground, then leaving the scene without reporting the damage. I contracted Brandon Barrett several times over a period of months to have the fruit tree they knocked down replaced, each time he said he would replace the tree but never did.
We had Cherry Oak install a flagstone patio with a retaining wall bench in our backyard. It turned out exactly as we imagined it would! They also installed a flagstone walkway to the patio with mulch and flowers on either side. The results were beautiful. They went the extra mile by bringing in topsoil and straw to fix our grass after the machinery damaged some areas. We were in constant contact with the owner Brandon. He always promptly responded to our emails and calls. His crew was great and very respectful. An example was when they were cleaning the road by our driveway by blowing the dust and debris away, they stopped once they noticed I was getting my infant daughter out of the car so we would not breath the dust. Very happy we chose Cherry Oak!

Very timely with initial response to our inquiry for a quote. The process from quote to completion was seamless and true to the expectation that was communicated at the time of consult. The crew was very polite and diligent with the task at hand. The end result was awesome.

They comment on a review that was done 5 years ago and excuse me of lying? What purpose do I have in that? And who or what is lawn stars? Never heard of that company. I dont use my real name in public forum so how do you know youve never done business with me. You most certainly have done my yard,because your company HAD a contract with our community but was let go a few yrs back. For what reason I dont know. Im commenting on what you provided to my yard and it wasnt good. *edit* this company likes to argue in a review, I have recently 05/2024 sent this company an email about there answer to my review that was 5 yrs ago.. Its not wrong to use another alias. Again how do you know if you serviced me or not? Maybe check your email and stop harassing someone on Google. I have already reached out to this company 5 yrs ago. This company serviced not just me but at least 50 other people in my area, which now its down to like maybe 1 or two because of the same issue I had FIVE years ago. The final results were I ended my service and went else where. The manager/owner I talked to was just as rude as this person answering back. You were the only company they allowed in here, I tried signing up but I was always missed, til I stand my ground and spoke to the manager at that time, I was also being charge for service that was never done til I stand my grand and the next day someone came and the guy said free of charge.im like well not really since payment was taken 2 weeks prior. But first impression are EVERYTHING. With the missed job and then rude manager one time was enough to say fk it, now I have a college group who does it for less.. And after this bickering and lying on your part, Im NEVER coming back not even if you came over in a dress and begged.. Now unless you want to talk then I suggest answering your calls/emails and have adult conversation if you can handle that FYI 5 yrs ago this place wasnt yes communities
they do a horrible job clearing snow if they even clear it. most of the time they salt sidewalks the night before when getting multiple inches then they dont even come clear snow at all. never show up to plow the drives. DO NOT USE FOR SNOW.
Weve been using this company for a couple of years and love how well they take care of our lawn. Very professional company and great staff who are always quick and friendly! They have always done an excellent job mowing and weed whacking our property. Cant recommend them enough!

Made a appointment month ahead of time. The day of I called to see they were going to keep appointment. Not until 30 minutes before appointment they called back to tell me I m to far away. I would guess if I had gone ahead and hired them I would of received the same service.

Horrible company! They owe me $48 and will not answer calls, texts, or emails! Do not use them for services. Funny how they got a bunch of 5 stars all in the last month! All fake 5 stars I would assume. I have neighbors they owe money to as well and will not respond.

On time, friendly and Courteous. Met all of our expectations.
They came and cut and trimmed the grass in my apartment complex. One of their employees blew dirt and debris on the side of my car and on the back windshield. The employees acted as if a huge gust of wind came and blew it on my car . They offered to blow the dirt off, the same way they put it on. When I tried to call the company no one answered and the voicemail is full. ( a real professional company). Needless to say I had to pay to get my car washed myself.
Never responded to calls or emails. We had a signed agreement I canceled due to not showing up for at least 1 2-inch snow. The receptionist was nice when I called initially.
Cherry Oak Landscaping did a marvelous job with our fall cleanup this year. The crew was very professional and demonstrated great attention to detail. I will be hiring them again for future lawn cleanup jobs.
Terrible company. DO NOT give them business. They damaged my property and then tried to lie about it and say they didn t when the damage was not present before they showed up. HIGHLY unprofessional and they have AWFUL customer service. Worst company I ve ever dealt with.

Cherry Oak installed a patio for us. It was a good experience. They held the schedule and we were pleased with the work. Would recommend.
Although they ran behind schedule about 3 weeks and it took a couple extra days to complete, the retaining wall built by the guys at Cherry Oak turned out beautifully. The guys worked long hours and asked my opinion when decisions needed to be made. They ensured my satisfaction with the end result and the price beat all other companys. I would use Cherry Oak again if i needed another retaining wall.
Every time my lawn is mowed you can only tell the grass has been cut because they leave it all over my stairs and paths. It still appears long and sometimes they skip portions all together. We have a very tiny yard and it s always a mess when the careless crews leave. They are careless with their equipment in residential yards. Highly unimpressed with the service this season and will not be purchasing next season. In addition, they forgot to charge us for 3 or 4 weeks service at the times of service so hit ya with the whole amount at once with inadequate warning.

One of the worst companies for customer satisfaction. Hired to mow lawn. Auto pay for each mow. 2nd week it rained on Monday so they mowed on Thu. Took a chunk out of steps. Rain the next Mon, they charged me but never came out that week to mow. Update, company refunded money and came out last week and fixed steps.
It truly bums me out to have to write this negative review. This is the second summer I have used Cherry Oak to do my lawn. Last year I never had one complaint. They showed up at the same time same day every week. They did an AWESOME JOB on my lawn! Grass was always even and the lawn was perfectly trimmed and they cleaned up all the clippings. Truly did an absolute beautiful job all last summer. Fast forward to this summer, every experience with the lawn crew has been horrible, the lawn is always uneven, they do the worst job weed whacking and they never clean up their mess. And several times I have had to tell them to stop smoking in my yard. I have called Brandon the owner serval times about this, he is always very kind and very curtious. Unfortunately he has a bunch of slackers working for him this year. That do not care about his business or his name, cause after the way the man just talked to me in my back yard about smoking again!! Was pretty obvious that he does not value the company he works for and has zero respect for his boss or his bosss customers! I feel bad for Brandon (owoer) cause he is truly a kind individual. But I will no longer use a service where the employees have a complete disregard for his business or his customers! What a shame. I wish I could have my lawn crew from last year back.
Brandon and his crew did a great job replacing a cinder block retaining wall with a new timber one. They completed the job in one day and we are very pleased with how it turned out.
