Williams Landscape & Design in Williamsburg

Nothing but torn up grass. Holes in yard. Tire marks all over driveway and sidewalk. Rocks thrown when riding up and down street blowing off grass.

This company delivers what they promise. Our backyard landscaping and paver walkway project was started on schedule, and all work was completed in 8 working days. The final result is fantastic and actually exceeds our expectations. Nate Reams, Richard Scruggs and their team in Williamsburg were productive, detail oriented and skillful, and that is obvious now that the project is completed. It was easy to contact Richard if we had any questions as the work was progressing. I am recommending Williams Landscape and Design without reservation to anyone who needs landscaping or other outdoor work performed. Unlike some companies in this day and time, these guys pay attention to detail and produce remarkable results. Aaron, Richard, Nate, Nancy, and Kim were all wonderful to work with from beginning to end. Great communication and professionalism throughout with an end result on our project that were very happy with - highly recommend!

Supplying the right number and quality of shrubs and trees was an issue, but something out of their control. The owner and also the production manager kept me informed of changes and were very professional. There were some issues with the actual planting but they came back and rectified, which was much appreciated. The installation crew was professional.

Gas fire pit installed and patio redo. Results fantastic. Workers professional, friendly and neat.

We needed drainage work done on our property and contacted 3 companies for an estimate. One company never responded. The second companys estimate was comparable to Williams Landscape & Design (WLD) but it did not provide us with a detailed plan as to how the work would be executed and any associated costs. We are pleased we went with WLD. We were met with professionalism right from the start...from Mr. Aaron Williams detailed plans, to Autumns excellent customer service at the front office; and to the crew who were polite, took their work seriously, and did an outstanding job. Williams Landscape & Design should be proud of their companys commitment to quality, communication, and professionalism; which are all values easy to promise but hard to deliver. All three values were delivered by your company. We will have no hesitation in employing WLD for future projects and will definitely recommend them to our friends and family.

KEEP SEARCHING! I DO NOT RECOMMEND this displeasing, unprofessional, and obnoxious crew that lacks the competence, ability, and supervision to perform the simplest of tasks.

They are wonderful at planning but execution is very poor. We had a drainage issue and were unable to grow grass. They deveoped a plan that sounded great but we waited many months for them to start and when they came it was a rushed job. The drainage issue still exists even after they came back to fix it! Ground very uneven with areas so low you trip as you walk across the lawn. They dumped the garden soil they installed into one end of the garden, removed no clay and barely rototilled. The garden was not at all ready to plant in and hard packed. I would never recommend them.

Disappointed. Dishonest. Keep looking. (note: Plants they installed were dying, so I contacted them because they offered a written guarantee. After two phone calls from me and three months passed without a response, it was clear they were simply ignoring me. Apparently their motto is, Once we have your money, we dont know you. Then I posted this negative review. Bingo! Within half an hour I received a call from them. Is that the kind of outfit you want to do business with? Mediocre performance, top dollar charged, no follow-up customer service until you enter a negative rating.)

Greatest landscape company in the Williamsburg area.

The gentlemen that worked at my house were absolutely wonderful. From the first walk through until completion of my beautiful walkway, I have been 100% satisfied. I felt important and they actually wanted me to be happy with their work.

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. We recently had our landscaping completed around our home and our backyard. We love you all and recommend Williams Landscape and Design, Inc. for any of your landscape and design needs. Our wall that they built us is perfect. Now the landscaping. Everyone is great to work with on projects. Thank you all for everything. We even contracted with Williams for treatments of our lawn. It is the most beautiful lawn we have ever had since living in our home. I cannot say enough. Call them. Tell them what you need. They will help in whatever way possible to meet your needs. Williams created an irrigation system for front garden and for the bushes they added on third row of garden, near the mailbox, and near the parking pad area. Now the worst looking areas of the front are the best. The walkways with crushed rock look spectacular. Work was fantastic. Only issue was that it took awhile to get everything going but they are worth the wait.

WLD designed and installed plantings and paver sidewalks around our corporate office. The landscape has matured beautifully and their work has held up without any problems. I highly recommend this company.

The team at Williams Landscape & Design have worked with us on 3 separate projects. They do not substitute their vision for ours, they are meticulous about keeping the site cleaned up each day, they stand behind their work, even years later, and treat us like part of the family.

I would give them a zero for incomplete but it wont let me. A man came out and looked at the job but never called us back or sent a bid.

CAVEAT EMPTOR ...Landscape followup service for any plant losses is non-existent....assurances but no actiion after multiple calls/emails...even offered to self-install. Too bad...very disappointing. The initial design/install was very nice but if you are a less than $10,000 filler job (Williams term) suggest shopping elsewhere. Could have been 5 star. Will not recommend to anyone.

Nice displays and showroom let you see and touch the materials for your next outdoor project. Outdoor fireplaces, pergolas, natural stone, pavers and wall block are all on display. Beautiful work!

Very professional place that puts out amazing work

They built this amazing fireplace and patio. The attention to detail was so amazing and Trey and Tony are just a pleasure to work with. Now , they are building a pool and another stone patio. Just so professional.

Horrible experience. Professional landscape designer put sun loving plants on our property which is 90% shade. Their irrigation specialist was a new business that had never did a project this size and it was poorly done as well. All in all a very expensive servicing of our account , as George Carlin so eloquently used to say. We could have done a better job by ourselves and wish we had.

We had Williams Landscaping assist with a design solution for our backyard. Trey provided some suggestions and came up with a great design that provides the perfect blend of beauty and low maintenance (no grass to mow). Williams did an excellent job of installation and follow up. Their crews and superintendents were all excellent. Highly recommended

Our landscape designer, Trey, did an excellent job. He listened carefully to our original design ideas and goals, as well as the criteria we had for plant characteristics. Within a couple days he delivered a design that was right on the mark. Trey introduced us to some design ideas that I never would have thought of but that my wife and I love, like boulders to accentuate the bends in our dry river bed. Trey s design addressed not only our needs for a more aesthetic yard, but his design also solved a water runoff problem we had. We chose Williams because we saw their work at another house in our neighborhood. We were impressed with the perfection of the work and we didn t even get a second bid before deciding on Williams because we wanted the quality of work that was apparent that Williams did. The workers clearly know what they are doing. Things were completed quickly, efficiently, and in a quality manner. I was surprised at how quickly the work at our house was finished.

Williams landscape design has been taking care of our home and business for years. They addressed a sloping front yard that has always been a problem. By designing a stone wall and local plantings they transformed the look of our house. I highly recommend this company to anyone wanting a quality solution.
