Had Brent out to do a full inspection of my irrigation system and to teach me how to use it. He was extremely knowledgeable about all things irrigation, and I learned a ton from him. He taught me how to use the system, he identified issues needing to be fixed, and got me scheduled for a repair of the issues just days from now. Im very pleased.

I woke up to my irrigation system running and not being able to turn it off. Not knowing anything about irrigation systems, I called Massey at 8:20.They sent over Brent Lunday who arrived at 9:00 a.m. He diagnosed the problem and came up with a solution quickly. Friendly, knowledgeable, and patient... Cant ask for anything more. Brent is a credit to the Massey organization.

Massey just wants to sign you up, charge you, and go through the motions. They paid no attention to my lawns needs. They just do their routine. My lawn looks terrible after about 6 months. They never addressed the crabgrass I asked them about repeatedly. They never did any soil testing nor any sort of specific plan. Just sign here and well charge you to come out every other month and spray our usual stuff.

Massey just doesn t do what they are contracted for. I m here only 4 months of the year. I leave in November and return in March I ve got more weeds now than ever in my rocks. Didn t trim my shrubs and the dead patch in my lawn is twice the size. Every time I return I have to call to get them to remove the weeds, trim the shrubs and take care of my lawn. Simple. It s frustrating and shows a lack of something. I feel taken advantage of because I m not here enough to watch what there doing

Today Wyatt Wolford performed an irrigation system inspection. He arrived on time and was polite, professional and knowledgeable. We discussed a couple issues identified and available options.

When I call if theres any small problem with the lawn they come out immediately and take care of the situation whether its weeds or anything else.

UPDATE 7/18/23. While I still stand behind my review of Tech Wolford I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the actual service (OR LACK OF SERVICE) from Massey.---see photos. I paid $95 for monthly lawn mowing and the current grass height is hovering around 10-12 INCHES! I called Massey on Thursday @ 9 am to inquire. After behind on hold for 12 minutes and enduring the automated menu I was told someone would call me back to address the issue. No call by the end of the day so I called back and was assured AGAIN that someone would call. At noon the next day (still no call back) I went in person to the Massey location in Leesburg and the secretary took my info, said she was sending an immediate service request and that a SUPERVISOR would call me back. Guess what. Its now Tuesday and still no call and still no grass cut. I called Massey twice this morning. No response. I am on my way again to the Massey and I WILL BE CANCELLING ALL SERVICE AND HAVING ALL UP FRONT MONEY ($239) REFUNDED. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! but they sure were quick to send out a tech to sign us up for multiple service contracts. They know how to TAKE your money but they sure dont provide any follow-through or promised service. Initial Review: Tech Wyatt Wolford was exceptionally professional and patient with me. He is very well educated on the services and products available and provided all the information I needed to choose the services I wanted.

This is my second review of Massey services. My first review was on their facebook page. I called over three weeks ago with a picture of my lawn in Calumet Grove, never heard back till last week, I received a message from their We Care team that they understand my frustration and would be contacting me. Its been a week and still no response. I feel I should contact, Michael Finney on 7 on your side to let Him investigate how Massey is taking advantage of so many seniors in The Villages. Their money back guarentee is a joke. They dont even correct the problems they are suppose to.

I wrote an encouraging review based on our current services from Massey. However, I have to address a major issue with their Command service. We signed up for the Command service over 6 weeks ago and appear to have fallen through the cracks as we were told. I made 6 phone calls to the office, with NO return phone calls after speaking with the staff. I was told someone would come by this past Saturday to take care of us. We sat around ALL DAY waiting for a NO SHOW!!!! I was also told I would receive a phone call from a team leader after the no show and THAT never happened either! Bottom line, this is not one of their better run services. Prepare yourself for total frustration!!!

Irrigation inspection found issues that we were not aware of. Also found our timers set to water for longer periods than necessary. We had a very helpful first visit.

Massey came/saw our weed issue in our lawn. Diagnosed it and applied first treatment ... apparently fertilizer as weeds GREW PHENOMENALLY WELL for three weeks. At that point I asked a manager to re-spray the treatment. The re-spray obviously was beginning to be effective on ~50% of the weeds while the remaining 50% are growing totally unaffected. My best guess is that the re-spray was not applied evenly and simply missed the ones still unaffected. Rush job or incompetence; anyones guess.

Right off the bat he had a solution to bring our lawn up to the quality standard that we have been used to in the past. I am a recent customer of Masseys and this review is for Service Center 168 and more specifically Hobart Brewer. I had a need at my house for something that wasnt scheduled. I called Hobart and explained my situation. He was amazing from the start. He immediately stated that my business was very important to him. This really made me feel valued as a customer. He immediately addressed my need and reassured me that customer service was his number one priority. He took car of my situation the very next morning and contacted me to tell me it was done. I couldnt be more satisfied with Masseys and more specifically Hobarts incredible professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication to his customers.

For any of you considering Massey for your lawn care: We hired Massey in May of 2021 for our pest control, termite, and our lawn mowing/fertilization/etc. We paid a year in advance and never had a problem the first year. We renewed in May and again prepaid the year. Immediately they stopped showing up. We were mowed twice between April 28th and June 26th. Twice! Multiple calls to complain was a waste of time (so busy taking care of new customers they were struggling to take care of their existing ones) so we finally cancelled their services and asked for a refund for the unused portion. We were told it would take 4-6 weeks for a refund because of corporate . What a bureaucracy! Do yourself a favor and stay away from Massey.

Massey installed some shrubs in my yard. They came back to see if the shrubs were getting enough water.

Massey services provides me with great lawn care services! They are very responsive. Hats-off to Hector for his great attitude in caring for my lawn.

Although I did have to wait a bit to get a crew here to do landscaping on my lawn, the crew they sent was absolutely excellent. Two young men name Chad and Rodney came and did everything I asked and then some. They were polite, helpful and did everything that I asked them to do. They were very friendly and extremely polite. Anyone who has these two young men do their work is very lucky.

Tech Tara did a thorough inspection. Repairs and annual maintenance cost estimate were a bit shocking in light of services performed recently by Massey Sprinkler. I ll make a decision on the services I want to purchase in a few days.

The Tech. was polite and notified that he was here and what he was going to do. Impressed with the quick service.

I have always had a great response from Massey. They came immediately to remove the bees that moved in overnight. They regularly check the irrigation and come within 24 hours if I call. Very happy with them.

Service was fabulous. She even saved us another day of service as we had the termite inspection scheduled another day and she handled it all. Which when you aren t staying very long, it was a blessing to get it all done in 1 day.

Do not use this Company unless you want to call to remind them to service your home. My shrubs are supposed to be trimmed monthly and havent been trimmed since October. They keep telling me someone will be out soon but no one ever shows up. I have been waiting for 3 weeks for a manger to return my call. Theyre grass cutting is very inconsistent too. some times its weekly but never the same day sometimes they show up every 3 weeks. They just dont care.

The technician (Brent) very quickly reviewed and discovered a leak that I had in the irrigation system. It was amazingly how quickly he found the exact spot. He was able to repair the problem immediately. Very personable and willing to address my issue.

Horrific business practices. Never ever return calls. Never complete contractual services. Weeds in lawn, weeds in flower beds, weeds never pulled, bushes never trimmed. Theyre gonna be history. As of March26th there has been an improvement in service . However, I will continue to monitor the situation before I give Massey 2 stars.

Haven,t been mowing lawn on regular bases, after a few calls/messages finally mowed 4 weeks. It,,s now 3 works later no mowing done. Sent messages to manager, no response

I dont know how you can have an amateur lawnmower but every time theyve come out it has been as if a toddler did the yard. Like I dont even understand how a lawn service could be this bad. Manager said hed come out, several times, and hasnt. They lie constantly. There is absolutely zero reason to hire these ridiculous people. There are so many other lawn services in this area, choose one that actually takes some pride in their work.

Terrible lawncare. They never pull weeds, and sometimes they dont even blow off the driveway and sidewalk. It takes them 5 minutes to complete your weekly yard service. Total rip off. Their pest control is great, but their lawncare is unbelievably bad.
