Ground Guys was recommended to us by a local plumber who didn t work on sprinklers. GG came out after hours, in freezing weather, to stop a leak. They did an excellent job for a reasonable price, and they were super friendly. Calling GG was the best advice I ve ever had, and it came from another professional I d never met!

They have shown up at my work and done a FABULOUS job!! They went above and beyond my expectations!!

Jeff, the office staff and crew members are timely, efficient and always willing to help when unexpected issues or damage occurs to our community sprinkler system. This is a professional level group that takes pride in providing profession level services.

Working with the Grounds Guys was a legitimate pleasure. Going from a graded lot of Kansas scrub brush to a turnkey, irrigated fescue lawn in a week was an amazing transformation. Submitting my information to completion of my project took less less than 2 months. Other contractors may be cheaper but the simplicity of working with the Grounds Guys made the extra cost worth it.

The Grounds Guy did a complete sod install for our home that had an existing (and sad) lawn. From the quote to completion, they were easy to communicate with, quick to respond, very accommodating with scheduling and the install guys worked so hard for us, were courteous and did an amazing job. I highly recommend The Grounds Guys Of East Wichita! Wade (project manager) and his crews were extremely skilled, on time every day, polite and conscientious. Initially, Jeff (Owner) came by to listen and gather details for a free estimate. Once those specs were lined out, Wade & Jeff both came by to address any final questions and communicate possible start times. When the project began it was easy to tell I had made the right choice! This was a complete irrigation, lawn and beautiful Flagstone patio installation (In my opinion, Abi and his team are basically artists in Flagstone placement and setting). Before work started I showed Jeff and Wade pictures of the way our yard previously looked and expressed my hope that they could restore its former beauty they certainly did that! My wife and I are extremely pleased! One more thing oftentimes office staff simply answer the phone, take questions and pass on messages these folks are different in that they were able to answer, in detail, most of my inquires with no further assistance. Great Job! Started my sprinklers and answered my questions about running them. Very Helpful! They also did a backflow test which is required by the City. The secretary I know they are called different now but cant remember so nice and helpful.

I had The Ground Guys come to my home to provide an estimate for sod installation around a newly constructed pool. They gave me what I thought was a great bid (given the job size was rather small), they fit me in sooner in the schedule than originally estimated, they did a great job on the installation, the quality of the sod was excellent, and Andrew stopped back by to reconfigure my sprinkler system (even replaced some sprinkler heads) to ensure it was watering everything properly. I also had electrical work going on in the house the day after installation, and I was going to be out of town, so Andrew stopped back by after the power interruption to ensure everything was still working correctly. Couldnt ask for anything more from them.

Jeff came out and provided recommendations on what shrubs/trees would look best in our yard. He was very professional and answered all our questions. His crew arrived on time and were also very professional. His crew foreman was very friendly and answered a few additional questions I had. The yard looks great!!! Highly recommended!!!!

Great job, super responsive, done in lightning speed. Had irrigation and sod installed in front and back yard. They had to clear a thicket of weeds in back and haul off debris. I bought a house that had yards in complete disarray and The Ground Guys absolutely transformed my yards. There were a few flowering plants that unfortunately had to be removed due to them not being cared for properly, but they offered to help get me some more and plant them. I couldn t have asked for a better landscape company and I fully intend on using them for future landscaping projects!

I called the Ground Guys on a recommendation from a neighbor and was very happy. I called on a Thursday about my irrigation system being down and they came out on Monday. On time, fast, and friendly - not much more I could ask for.

I did recommend your company to my neighbor she used you also.it was a young guy not very experienced but knew what he was doing had trouble finding her shut off box. I walked around the yard with him he kept trying he finally located it it was very hard to access I helped him trim the bush out of the way he stayed polite calm and diligent completed the job was very impressed with the young man.

We are so happy with how our yard turned out. The Grounds Guys did a general clean-up: moved rock, put in some landscaping boarders, pruned a bush, removed a bush, removed several volunteer trees, laid down new weed barrier, hauled off a lot of debris, and replaced all our mulch. It s a total transformation. Their communication was great throughout the whole process and the crew was very professional. Overall, we had a great experience!

Wade and his crew were amazing. They arrived early and went to work. The crew worked very hard and was responsive to a few last minute, minor changes. I had one slight issue with the dirt settling after the first rain but all it took was one call and the crew brought out more dirt and got the problem resolved within 48 hours. I highly recommend The Grounds Guys of East Wichita.

$665 to replace a valve, move a head 10ft and back flow test. Surprised by such a big bill. Quality of work was fine.

I have used The Grounds Guys of East Wichita at work, seeding several yards a year. The lawns look great! I have also used them at my home, spraying along our fence row and treating for stickers and other types of weeds. The price is right and they are very responsive.

The Ground Guys were great to work with! Easy to contact and professional. They were thorough and kind. I had repairs that needed done on my sprinkler system as well as an overall check before the spring season started. They did it all in a timely manner. I will definitely be using them again!

Tristyn did a great job locating and repairing the broken irrigation line we thought was bad. He checked out our system and found three additional lines that needed to be repaired. Great job!

Ridiculously high prices for sprinkler adjustments. The sprinkler system they installed has been nothing but a headache. Will take my future sprinkler business to someone else. They are pleasant and friendly, though. Edit: After speaking with the owner, issues were pretty much resolved.

We were given the Grounds Guys number from Harp Well. We wanted to add a hose bib from our existing well. The OWNER came to see if it was possible to use 1 of our sprinkler system zones for this, it was. We had him come & less than a week later it is done. Tristan & his helper, (sorry I didnt get his name) let me know what they were doing, were very careful around some existing plants. They scraped all the excess soil back where it was originally. He asked if there was anything else they could do since they were already here. I will definitely call since we are moving our fence, will need some relocation of sprinklers afterwards. Will refer their number to anyone who needs all types of landscape work done.

Ground guys responded quickly when other companies would not. They arrived on time made the repair on my irrigation system, and were professional and personable. I would use them again for other projects.

Irrigation witerization

I have tried 3 different companies for winterization of sprinkler systems now, this year tried Grounds Guys. Called this morning, set appointment for next Monday. Very courteous and professional on the phone. Received a call that their workload for the day was done early and asked if I wanted mine done today (same day as calling for the first time). Really appreciate this consideration and promptness.

Work was done in a timely manner. Everyone I that had contact with was patient with me and worked to get a clear understanding of what I wanted and adhered to their estimate.

We were very pleased with the service the ground guys provided for us... they were on time and worked hard on the project that was assigned to them... I am totally satisfied with the Grounds Guys. If there is a hitch in their schedule, Caitlyn always calls to let me know. They notify me ahead when they are coming for special lawn treatments. Their guys are friendly (always smiling). They remind me of Snow Whites dwarfs whistle-while-you-work mentality/attitude. The Grounds Guys as an organization and as individuals are dependable and trustworthy in every way.

Contacted them via their website and called and no response. I guess the we don t need business model is working for them. If you are looking for a landscaping company I would pass.

My wife and I just had a sprinkler system and sod completed by The Ground Guys of East Wichita. We were very impressed with their quality of work when they were at our home and when working with their office. I would encourage anyone in the area looking to have work done to give them a call!

We recently built and as our lot was quite large, we debated planting the backyard and only springing for sod in the front yard. Wow am I glad we chose to let the Grounds Guys do it ALL! Their whole crew was so professional and courteous and knowledgeable. They took it from dirt to sprinkler installation to sod laying and we now have a lush green yard! Jeff followed up with us after the sod had time to adapt and noted a couple spots they will replace (the bill has been paid so the follow up is because he cares and takes pride in the end result). We have ZERO complaints and would highly recommend them!

Enjoyed working with Jeff & the crew to get get a large rock bed installed in our back yard. Jeff was patient while I tried to make up my mind and the crew was professional and quick during installation. Finished result looks great and was just what we needed. We own a wedding and event venue outside of Towanda and wanted some help with great landscaping! We knew Jeff at the The Grounds Guys from years ago when he first installed sod at our personal home. He and his crew did a great job! We called Jeff and he came out with his experts to see what we wanted to do so we could make the best plan for our place. Jeff, Wade and all the people at The Grounds Guys helped us do a patio, gravel work, flower beds, flower containers, some irrigation work and watering lines. They can do it ALL for you!!! We hired this company on a short notice after our pool was installed to do the landscape around the pool. We needed this done shortly before a holiday. They had no problem getting it done and looked amazing! They are a one stop shop for your yard! Great people!

This company was used by my builder to sod my yard. I heard they were at my house about to lay sod and ran over quickly because I knew the yard had not been properly prepped. For example the weeds have not been killed off the week prior. The dirt had not been broken up with a tiller and the yard had not been graded properly with removal of rocks. I spoke to one of the two that were at my house that were using a plastic rake to break up the dirt and he told me he was waiting on dirt to come in to finish my yard properly. I asked him about the weeds and rock and he told me they would be removed before the install the sod that they were waiting on. I left to go to an appointment and upon my return half of my yard was solid on top of hard rock with dirt and weeds galore. Three weeks later I go to review the grass there s 2 inch gaps between the sod ends, there s several dead pieces. Due to poor grade water is sitting between my home the build next door. the sod feels like a inflatable water mattress on a pool when you walk across it so you literally almost fall down. I have over 10 pics to support this. My builder is supposed to have them correct this but all that was done was turning sprinklers back on. No! It needs ripped up, rock and weeds removed then re sod. It s absolutely trashy looking. My fence goes up in a few weeks and I m not going to have a horrid yard to view daily.

Recently had them come in and redo the front of my house. They were extremely fast and efficient and left my actual yard in better shape then before they started landscaping which I was shocked at. Figured it would kill some grass etc but they were very careful and used tarps. Totally transformed my house and increased value and curb appeal. Love it!

The Grounds Guys have been a joy to work with to make sure our yard looks beautiful all year. There has been rapid response and attention with our 1 year warranty inspection, instruction to adjust and maintain sprinkler heads, rerouting sprinkler heads after adding yard fence and concrete, winterization and EXCELLENT over the phone instruction to dewinterize the well for the very first time. Raven was a wealth of knowledge when I called for help on our well and when considering the risk and not to winterize she listened and understood offering a wise option to save money every year allowing us to feel confident we are safeguarding our system and our wallet. After working with Jeff, troubleshooting our well, his professionalism and quality of work via phone has been the deciding factor as to why we will continue to lean on the Grounds Guys for our yards watering needs.

We paid The Grounds Guys over 3k to drain excess water in our yard with a pump and leveling. They were supposed to landscape as well, but they just dug a hole, put in a pump and covered it with a handful of cheap rocks. They did not install the drain/pump at the lowest point of the yard, and so 2 years later, our yard looks worse than before. They invited us to call back with any issues, but when we informed that about the issues they said it would cost us more to have them look at it and claimed that our problems were due to erosion (in just 2 years??) They didnt even offer a discount on remedial work. No accountability with these folks. If you want the job done right, go elsewhere.
