I do not like being negative, but the experience from start to finish was poor. We called and they asked us questions about our yard. We advised we had high grass, they asked us if it was over a certain height. We said yes. They gave us a price and told us that we would have a three mow minimum. This was fine. The day of the scheduled mowing, the gentleman that was contracted came out, looked at our yard and said he hadnt brought the proper equipment because he was not advised of the height. He then told us that he would not have time to mow today but he could come back out in a week. We called because this was frustrating and the service told us that it would be DOUBLE the agreed upon price because it was reported as high grass. Then they told us that we were STILL required to have them mow three times, even though they had doubled the agreed upon price and had not rendered any services at the scheduled time. To continue i advised them that i had only approved the three mowings based on the prices they gave after extensive questioning, the company was still going to attempt to strong arm a much higher price and refused to listen to my issues, until i advised that bait and switch is a unethical business practice, and i would be making sure to review. My services finally were cancelled after i was put on hold off and on for nearly 15 minutes. Make sure you get your price in writing because they WILL try to force you to pay for more after the agreement is made.

Awful service. Once our crew was changed everything went down hill. They tried to come Mow once the sun was down with headlamps at 10pm multiple times. We explained that was not OK and tried to switch crews. They told us they had no other crews for our area and to let them fix the issue. Multiple times they did not come when they were supposed to, always with an excuse like the trailer has been stolen, it's my mom's birthday, or that they did not sharpen or keep up with their tools. The one working with us, would explain he would have to mark the job as complete even though he did nothing or he would lose his job. I had to dispute charges they charged me since the job was not complete. And upon cancelling after another no show they would not refund the full amount only 15 of the 50 dollars unless I let the crew "come fix it" again. Absolutely ridiculous. On multiple occasions they ripped up our lawn and left huge gouge marks that are still not fixed. After trying to contact support again we cancelled. I would never recommend this service to anyone. Terrible customer service, never on time and always underwhelmed. If you have the option choose anyone else available

They send a notification when they're on their way so your prepared & I LOVE that!! Gives me a heads-up to get my dogs inside. The work they do is impeccable. You won't find anyone else so such a great job for the great price you'll get here!!

So far I have used lawnstarter lawn care service twice. The first Mow, was great, the technician did a great job mowing the lawn and edging although he missed a few spots. I was not displeased in that I just needed something done to get the landlord off my back. The second time was a person named Randy. He knocked on my door at 9:15 a.m. because I forgot to leave notes for him. But I'm so glad that he knocked on my door because my alarm didn't go off and I was almost late for a doctor's appointment. By the time I got back my yard was completely done it was beautifully edged and he even removed those Little Seedling trees that keep taking route in the front of my house threatening to lift the side of my skirting. He got out as fast as possible and when I got home I was astounded how beautiful my lawn was. Enough that I doubled my tip this time. I'm very pleased and will definitely be using them again.

William B was the employee that took care of us. He did such a fantastic job. Our yard has been overgrown 21+ inches and he was able to fix it and cut it down to a great length. He is coming back to fix up our backyard and possibly do a tree trimming for us and I can’t wait! I would like to have him as our yard guy!

So glad I decided to switch from mowing my own lawn last year. Jacob does a fantastic job mowing, trimming, and edging our lawn -- it has never looked better - and he is always reliable and professional. Forget the chore of mowing yourself and leave it in Jacob’s capable hands. You won’t regret it!

My mower died two cuts into this season and I didnt know how long it would take to get fixed so I contacted LawnStarter and came to an agreement that suited my needs at a great price for the value. The cutter did a fantastic job and my lawn has never looked better! I'm a little sad that I got my mower back and it too is better than ever so I guess I'll have to go back to cutting my own but rest assured I WILL be back as a customer as LawnStarter offers services other than mowing.
