We use Four Star lawn care for all of our lawn care, Christmas lights, and lawn clean-up. They are always very professional, hardworking, and do an outstanding job. The prices are very reasonable for the work. We definitely recommend this company!

Very easy to schedule an appointment, did not have to be home when they came which is a huge plus since I work everyday. I asked that they do the front yard and the backyard and they did both in a timely manner. They got all the old leaves that were stuck in corners and cracks of the driveway and everywhere else that leaves love to blow. My yard looked amazing when I got home. I will definitely use four Star lawn Care in the future when Im feeling lazy and dont want to do the leaves myself LOL

I ve been using the service for 4yrs. I m not typically home but, today I am. Adam was out today and very thorough when applying the lawn applicatio! I am very particular especially around the pool. Excellent customer service

Beware of their estimates. In early April I requested an estimate to have my flowerbeds cleaned up and have a couple bushes removed and for them to replace the bushes with some plants along with making the beds look good with mulch. When the estimator arrived, I walked them around the house and showed them all the flower beds, front and back, along with the bushes that needed to be removed. I also asked them at that time If they could clear some rock out of one flower bed and remove a pile of branches (not cut them, just remove them). I showed them the two flower beds where the new plants would go. Upon showing him that and him seeing everything, I was verbally quoted 600-700 for everything including installation of the new plants. A day later I received a written quote for 750. They put a disclaimer that its an estimate and they will bill based on man hours. Which is fine, if they are even remotely close on the number of hours they expect to work. They werent. Two months later (early June) they finally got me on the schedule. They spent the morning cleaning the flower beds, and pulling out the bushes. They left a couple hours later and I assumed they would be coming back because the back flower beds were a complete mess. They had ripped up all my flower bed irrigation and just left dirt, branches and torn up weeds everywhere. There was no attempt to clean up at all. After a couple hours I contacted them to see if they were coming back another day since it started raining and they said yes they would have to find time in the future to do it. They had gotten close to getting done but I still received an invoice for 652 dollars. I paid it the same day the invoice arrived online. Fast forward to September and they still have not returned to finish the job. My flower beds were left a mess, and because they ripped up all the weed barriers before they left, they had gotten overgrown. I went out and cleared them myself then contacted them to see if they were going to come back to finish the rest of the job since I had already paid the majority of the initial estimate. I was informed that yes, they were going to try to get to me in a few weeks, but the initial estimate didnt include cleaning the front beds, even though that was literally the first thing I asked them to do. So they purposely left that out of the estimate to keep the estimate lower apparently. They also made sure to inform me that the 650 (out of a estimate of 750) I already paid didnt include any of the materials or labor for installing the plants. So I would need to expect to pay for new weed barrier, plants and Im assuming mulch to make it look decent. I responded that I would like a new more accurate estimate before they did the remaining work. I got a snarky response back that they would provide a new estimate and they would require a signature AND deposit before they took on the work. Keep in mind I paid them within HOURS of getting my first invoice. Yet they are talking to me like Im a risk to not pay them, when they are the ones that are taking months to finish a simple job. They informed me they are purposely waiting due to the heat. Which on its own makes sense, but the only reason we hit the hot season is because they were unable to hit their original timelines. So summary: Dont trust their estimates. They hide behind their its an estimate we bill on actual man hours which is fine if you are reasonably close on your estimate. Dont provide an estimate if you can only finish half the job within the initial estimate cost. Being off by 10 or even 25% is reasonable, but being off this much isnt acceptable.

Used their services for decades. If things arent to your liking they sure try to make it right. Really wish there was a quick fix for moles or whatevers attacking MANY of our yards. After Approximately 30 yrs I just developed a problem with them. Anyone know a service for this?

Since moving to Wichita a year and a half ago, Ive used several local companies for remodeling, electrical, handyman, concrete work, etc. Four Star was the nicest company Ive worked with so far! So accommodating and reliable at very fair prices.

Four Star is an amazing full service company, they do it all from Standard aeration, fertilization, weed control and mowing all the way the beautiful landscape design, instal and maintenance. I highly recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a hands off approach to a beautiful lawn with more time to enjoy it with the family.

Had them out to trim all of our bushes and shrubs, remove some dead bushes, and to get everything cleaned up before winter. They did a great job and we will definitely have them back in the spring!! Edited... Would have had them back in the spring if they hadnt quadrupled the amount they wanted us to pay.

owner whined about frequency of work requested, they did not cut in front of the house, they ran into the house, no edging or trimming, owner did not return my call, they knocked over my neighbors mailbox... a real Mickey mouse operation... the owner has replied that he returned my call. he did not return my call until 2 days later, after I fired them. left a message on my phone that he was glad I cancelled as he does not need any headaches. when is an unsatisfied customer a headache... customer service? and to the owner. no, the grass directly in front of the house was not cut. I am not talking about the area around the tree. if you had called me back, you would understand what I am talking about. but I am a headache....

Four Star has been a wonderful change from our previous services. They do what they say they will do and when they say they will do it. Something I find refreshing in the lawn care business. The crew that does the work is very friendly, not so friendly is the lady that answers the phone in the office. She hasnt yet learned that customer satisfaction is what keeps customers.

What can I say, the weeds are gone and the grass is super green. Never had any issues with Dewey or any of his staff. All around great service.

They offered a better price and better service than the 4 other businesses we called to spray for weeds and fertilize our lawn. Four Star was the only one who actually came by the house before offering me a quote. The quote sheet detailed what weeds he saw in the lawn and what they would be targeting. I asked about grub treatment (something other companies tried to push on me) and he told me he saw no evidence of a grub problem in our lawn. I appreciate someone whos confident enough in what theyre doing to not try to oversell me.

I have used Four Star for many years first just for mowing at my home and at an undeveloped property I have, then added them on for fertilizing/weed treating a few years ago. I have also used them for various landscaping projects with excellent results. They are always respectful of our wish to make sure the gates are closed and locked when they are done so my dogs cant get out. I would and have recommended them to others.

I have used Four Star for several years now and am totally pleased with their treatments involving fertilization and weed control. I have found that, particularly with weed control, if at first the treatment doesnt work, they will come back immediately for another application to fix the problem. I am especially please with the results of the Core Aeration treatment last year. The result was an outstanding improvement in the lawn growth and appearance.

I have never used a Lawn care service before, my lawn has always been just very green with weeds. This year I started using 4 star lawn care up my entire street all of our lawns were purple with weeds, these guys came out and sprayed my yard and BOOM like 2 days later i have the best looking lawn on the block. I have used Four Star Lawn Service for more than 10 years, so yes, I am happy with them. They do good work, are careful, and the employees are all friendly and polite. I have also used them for some jobs other than lawn mowing, such as removing old shrubs and planting a small tree in a planting bed at the front of my house. I would recommend them.

Dewey has been very helpful with taking over our new yard for us and we appreciate the attention to detail. We also that they have a wonderful receptionist or office manager that answers our phone calls. Shes so nice!

Deplorable business practices to the point of borderline criminal. Terrible customer service and dishonest policies. Take your time and do some shopping. It won t take you long to find a much more reputable company that actually has an interest to please the customer.

Four star lawn care has been doing my dads yard and landscaping for years. Hands down, the best experience anywhere in town.

, for the simple (and unrelated) fact that one of their drivers sped up behind me, and rode my bumper in a construction zone, then passed me in a no passing zone. If you insist on advertising your business on your vehicle, hire people who drive according to the law. Also, learn how to properly use the word bare. Looking on their website, they say Please BARE with us, whereas it should be Please BEAR with us. Grammatical use is important, unless you only want to attract idiots to your service.
