They will keep weeds out (except crab &dallas grass), but their prices started to increase way too high for a luxury item to add to the monthly bills. Customer service was really nice, but they never accomplished my needs on the first request. I had to call several times to make sure the job was done correctly.

I requested a one time service to spray my lawn for weeds. Kills was below average at best. They showed up again last fall and without notice and I got charged for service. I got talked into paying bill. Showed up again in the middle of winter in February when I wasn’t home and sprayed once again. I did not ask them for return service. No courtesy call or confirmation of service. Or permission to be on property was granted. I can’t imagine the people that get taken advantage of by them doing this.
I had my yard treated 1 time for broadleaf and crabgrass. The chemicals used did not even yellow the crabgrass,and they said you have to wait 14 days to treat it again. My yard will be overgrown by then. The technician was lazily spraying the yard and got about 1/2 the broadleaf and he was done in 10 minutes for my front and back yard, no way he did it right. Lost my business.
I think the technicians are thorough spraying the yard I just do not like the products they use. I have more weeds than I did when I treated the lawn myself. The weed killer that they use puts large brown spots in the yard. I like products that shrivel the weed up and die, opposed to large brown spots. I have better luck following Scott’s yearly regimen and using weed killer that is safe for lawns when needed. I have had 3 applications and my weeds are worse. It is pretty bad when your neighbors notice the decline in your lawn. Update, Permogreen did replace sod where the damage was done. I appreciate them trying to rectify the problem.
We used Perm-O-Green for about 5 years before we moved. They were amazing. Our yard had no grass and was all stickers when we moved in. It was a beautiful green lawn with no weeds or stickers when we moved. The staff was awesome and always came back out fast if we had any issues.
We decided to use this service due to sticker weeds in the yard that were out of control. They are absolutely a service I recommend. You can pick and choose spot treatment, single treatment, fertilizer, etc. I am usually not someone who likes to treat the yard because wildlife, and the company assure me no harm would come to birds if they continue to forage and my worms would still thrive. I appreciate that I can call if I decide to add a service and they are prompt and thorough. They made my backyard a safe spot for my grandchildren to run barefoot in by removing those pesky sticker weeds and for a price that was insane to pass on ($12). I can't say better things....highly recommended. Btw, they can quote you via phone using Google maps!
The service was horrible. On more than one occasion I had to call them to retreat my lawn. Weeds were taking over. They lay rolls of dead sod. When I complained about it. I was informed it was transitioning. After a few weeks of watering, it certainly did transition to dirt. I was informed since I was not satisfied that they would not correct the problem or no longer treat my yard. So that was $500 lost. WOW!!!

Overall, they do a great job. I spotted weeds in my lawn after their pretreatment and contacted them. They were back at my house the next day to apply another treatment.
So far results are fair after a couple years.

This wasnt a visit to a location, but a service call, in which chemical was applied to the lawn in hopes of eliminating weeds and making the lawn look better. The technician was quick and efficient and very polite and professional in his interactions with us. The person with whom I spoke on the phone was as well.

Not good so far. Ordered a package for lawn treatment in March, first application Apr 1st. Paid it all upfront mind you. Its now June 15th and have yet to receive my second application. I called and they will always use the recent rainfall as an excuse. I even had a friend of mine in Fort Worth sign up for their service a month after me and he received his second treatment weeks ago. Go figure. When I inquired about my friend getting 2nd application before me, I was told FW must not have had as much rain as us. Hmmm. I supposedly have an application scheduled Monday, we will see. In the back of my mind I thought, what if I didnt call? When would my next application be? The answer is probably NEVER.

We have been using permogreen for 3 years now on a very large yard and we have been relatively weed-free since. Lawn looks better now than it has in 43 + years. Staff is always friendly and thorough. Would highly recommend.
Horrible experience. Dead trees, weeds in grass. Called 4 or 5 times and promissed a call back but no call back.

Used a very long time with no complaints.
Lawn service is excellent, however; only giving 4 stars because the tree & shrub technician they had Eric is no longer there. Kid was a whizz with my trees, friendly, and even followed up once a month or so to check on the health. Its one thing to have a knowledagble technician, but one who cares that much too.... shame he left few years ago as my trees havent been the same since. Otherwise highly highly highly recommend the lawn service, turned my dustbowl into a paradise. A+

First time using them they were recommend to me by a co worker. Had to call to question the application - then technician comes out and acted like it was an inconvenience to him to have to come back to do a job we thought we were originally getting. They need to inform the customer (especially the NEW customers) if they have new changes. The second job / or the redo makes me wonder. Was the first application applied correctly.

I have had a great experience with Perm-O-Green. My yard had lots of weeds that I was having trouble keeping under control, but every since I have used them my yard looks great!
They do not do a good job spraying the yard. I have a big backyard it is like they only spray the front half of my yard and I have to call after every application to come back out and respray my yard. I do not recommend anyone to use this company at all.
They have made my week bed into a lawn. Not only that , they applied the granules just before it rained, saved me a higher water bill
