They have done it great job with the installation and maintenance of our projects. I highly recommend them.
We moved into a new build last May in Brownsburg. The builder used Start to Finish to lay sod in the front, lay seed in the back, and put bushes in the front as well. The sod had gaps and had rocks everywhere. They came and fixed a few spots, but some of the spots still exist. The backyard is just terrible. Its completely uneven, the amount of rocks on top of the soil is incredible. The net that they put down that they said 'would dissolve' is absolutely not dissolving. I roll my ankle every time i walk in my backyard. The bushes that they planted never bloomed and stayed dead all of last summer, so i doubt theyll bloom this year. I would either stay away from this company, or watch them when they perform services for you.
Shon came out early May to look at our needs and provided us with a reasonable estimate for the work to be done. We talked about starting end of May. Confirmed with me on May 30 that we were ready and crew was here on 5/31 to do the work. Cleaned a large area in back of building, and put down seed and straw. They did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone.
Start to Finish installed a new paver patio and landscaping at our home. They did a great job and were very responsive to any questions my wife or I had. Jeff, Matthew, McKennah, and the entire Start to Finish team were a joy to work with! Would definitely use them again in the future!
The crew that graded the yard and installed our sod went above and beyond my expectations!! They took their time to get it right. I am very picky and somewhat of a perfectionist. I can only praise them for their quality of work. Luke was enjoyable to work with and very accommodating with scheduling. Will have them back to do more work in the fall and would highly recommend them to anyone!!!
Start To Finish has done landscaping work for me for more than 8 years. Recently they mulched all of my beds, refreshed the rock in a landscaped area and trimmed low limbs in a tree. I believe their work this time is probably the best I've ever experienced. Luke listened carefully to what I wanted done and responded quickly with a quote. He wasn't pleased with the match of the original rock he had found and took the time to explore other possibilities, resulting in rock that matched so well. He was here to explain the work as the crew arrived, and every member worked so efficiently with guidance from the Lead. They weeded beds prior to mulching in places I didn't even anticipate. And I've never had a crew clean up when the job was complete as well as they did. Thank you to all for a wonderful job.
Last summer we had our complete outdoor patio area and landscaping redone by Start to Finish and we couldn't be happier! From the design phase to project completion, we couldn't ask for better service. Our job was a fairly large one - new outdoor patio with kitchen, fireplace and roofed enclosure and also a new fire pit area and front yard hardscape redone. Matthew and Kevin were always quick to respond to any questions, and their crew is friendly, professional and cleaned up before they left each day. We would not hesitate to recommend them or use them for any of our future needs.
Matthew and Kevin listened to what we envisioned and ran with that. They offered suggestions along the way. We now have a pergola with a roof (!!), 18x18 patio and sidewalks. This project looks better than we could have ever imagined in our wildest dreams. Special shout outs to Jake and Jeremy as well. Our backyard is now our happy place. We have two additional projects up our sleeves that we will again partner with Matthew and Kevin. I suggest you make an appointment for your project. Horrible on communication. They make you call and call to just find out they already found someone and don t even give everyone a fair shot!
Did a great job adding a concrete ramp to the front of our house.
New lawn care provider for folks on red barn drive. Only complaint so far is they dont trim the grass around fences of people that have dogs
Called 2wks ago to replace some plants that had died have not heard from them since !!
I called several times to schedule seeding . Apparently they don t service small residential areas. Never heard back.

Start to Finish landscaped our home after our original landscaping was there for 20 years. They were nothing short of phenomenal. I would use them again and again. Great company, showed up when they said, knocked it out and it looks great. Design was great also.

Matthew and Kevin have worked with us on 2 occasions. This last project was for a 3.5MM ground up build at Tiger Pointe Country Club, an event center and a golf course. All aspects of the exterior grounds, walkways, cart paths and even some long overdue work on drainage on the course were planned and carried out by their crews. Cannot say enough good things! Looking forward to our next project together!
We have used Start to Finish on our landscape projects over the years, since 2013. Back in 2004 or 2005 I needed someone to mow my yard. My daughter suggested a classmate name Mathew Kelly. His parents would drop him off at my home so he was about 14 years old. He used my mower and did fine work. Little did I know at that time he would make a career of landscaping and start a successful business. (Start To Finish) Over the years he has done special landscaping projects such as build walls, redo my blue stone walk, plant trees, fertilize, weed control, lay pavers on the driveway and a spectacular job of laying down mulch and edging flower beds. Mathew is a fine, honest, hardworking young man. His business grows and expands every year as well as his reputation. Hes a family man; a good husband and dad. I highly recommend Matthew and his crew!
Start to Finish have just completed an extensive landscape project for us. April 2021. McKenna was a wonderful to work with as she planned the entire project with us. Everything was done on time. The installation crew were super and the quality of all the work was outstanding. The staff at the office that we dealt with were very professional, helpful, and understanding. Overall, the entire experience has been magnificent.

Hey Tom, I just want to take a minute and tell you how impressed I am with your crew. I ve been involved in homebuilding starting with my brother way back in the mid-80s. I can honestly say in all my years I have never seen a landscape crew do such a thorough and professional job as your guys. They even found our runaway dog in the alley and started up one of my sprinklers that I had laid out . But those small items to one side what s really important is they did their work as if they really cared and that s worth it s weight in gold. You were a day earlier than promised, got it done in one day and did outstanding, professional work. I m Very pleased. He was courteous as my girls were outside so he went and did some other lawns in the neighborhood so my girls could finish playing. Worked with Kevin Thompson, Start To Finishs Landscape Designer, he modified a design we already had. Walked the property with my wife and made some fantastic suggestions. Matthew Kelly, owner was out on-site last Friday; had two crews out, majority of the softscape complete in one day. One minor glitch which Mattew came up with a remedy which is working. Would definitely recommend them for your landscape needs.
Start to Finish did some grading and seeding work for us. They were quick to respond, very fair price and the crew did excellent work. No issues. Highly recommend and will definitely use them again for our landscaping needs.
Good experience at reasonable price. Luke did a great job of defining scope and confirming scope before work started. Crew did good work and left the the project clean. They went above and beyond the initial scope for a complete job. The showed up when scheduled and finished on time. Would highly recommend Start to Finish for any landscape and maintenance project.
They did a walkthrough with my wife and I to do a cleaning of our yard. The job was done in a day and we even found some decorative stones we didnt even know existed!

I had an issue from the start getting a price quote and getting services scheduled from one of the employees however the owner Jeff stepped up and went above and beyond to handle my situation and personally called me to make things right. We requested and needed help with a small job so this makes me feel significant as a customer as I m sure they re used to doing big jobs. Kudos to the owner and staff for caring and correcting the situation no matter how big or small the job. We re excited and can t wait for our landscaping to be installed this spring! Thank you!!
We used start to finish all of last year. Paid them to fertilize, lay sod, lay mulch, both spring and fall, paid on time! We had new sod that required extra maintenance and we had problems with thistle. We live in a brand new neighborhood so naturally we called with questions and concerns (paying for a service) . This year they fertilized once and put down mulch covering ALL of our perennials, I called to express my concern and received an email (EMAIL, not a phone call) the next day saying they no longer wanted our business. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
You were the first company to come out and fertilize my lawn for $50 and then charged me $50 for weed control. My lawn is very small and I usually get charged the minimal amount with companies charging one fee all inclusive. (about $40.) Your grass specialist quoted a $50 grass fee with a $10 charge for treating the rock in my shrub bed. Although I thought $50 was pricey I let him fertilize my yard never realizing I would be charged double his quote. He never mentioned you bill for fertilizing the lawn and spraying for weeds. as 2 separate charges. Your bill of $100 is ridiculous.
