I recently hired Bellantoni Landscaping and am very displeased with their service. They don t have any concept of good customer service but they are quick to bill you and try to get more business out of you. Their workers are pleasant but They are like robots they can come and do routine work on their schedule but anything out of the ordinary forget about it. I had a tree die and they were to replace it. It s taken 3 times for them to get the right type of tree planted in the proper place and while I paid for a large tree they ended up planting a small tree. When I had a drainage problem, they wouldn t schedule someone to come out and investigate and deal with the problem when I was available, everything has to be done according to their schedule. Once they came I had to continually follow up with them to find out what the problem was. My old gardener, who passed away, if he couldn t be there when I could be on the premises would have called me when he came on-site to investigate, told me what the problem was and fixed it on the spot. With Bellantoni this is likely going to be a month before the problem is fixed.

The workers are horrible they hit multiple cars with their equipment

Please be very careful if you engage this company. They are shady, and try very hard to rip you off. I recently had them switch on my sprinklers. They did not show up after giving me an appointment twice. Finally they did show up unannounced, did the 20 min work and gave me an invoice which was higher than what I expected. I didn t have my checkbook so I was told I could mail in the payment. Next day, I get another invoice over email which has $300 on top of the original invoice. It was charged as the sprinkler on/off fixed . So they re charging me a fixed price that they never told me about, on top of labor, time and parts. And they have the worst customer service of any company I ve ever worked with. Avoid them like the plague. Edit: Answering Michaels reply: Michael, I did not post a negative review months after the work was done just because you reached out for payment. I have had multiple phone calls and email exchanges with a number of customer care executives in your company and I gave you multiple chances to engage with me. Not only did eveyone refuse to be helpful in any way, the blatant disregard to my complaints and emails every time I had to talk with someone new just shows how much you actually care about customer feedback. There is a reason in my original review I have mentioned that your customer service is the worst Ive had to deal with. I know its hard to hear critical feedback, less so on a public forum. But its not easy to give this critical feedback either and I tried my best to engage with your team before I did this. And I am gonna follow this up with a complaint to Better Business Bureau and any other avenues I could find. Now you can imagine how bad of an experience I must have had with your company. I really wish no one else has to go through that.

Bellantoni Landscaping did a wonderful job, putting my house in the market and sales rep had great suggestions to spruce up the curb appeal. Final results were amazing house presented beautifully. Can t thank the Bellantoni team enough for their effort.

No, I would not recommend Bellantoni. I contacted them in April about doing work. Someone came out to check what the work would be, said theyd do an estimate and get back to me. The last I heard from them was June. Never received an estimate. I have used Ballantoni in the past. They are usually a little slow with following up. But this is the worst yet. I will not be using them for anything other than my sprinkler system. That team seems to be very on top of things.

I hired Bellantoni Landscaping to execute a complete overhaul of the landscaping on my muti-family hope in 2023. The yard was covered in hostas--so many that I called it the Hosta Takeover! They assigned me a point of contact (sadly she relocated) who was wonderful. The communication was excellent and they were willing to create multiple designs to help me stay in budget while still executing my priorities. The crew who handled the install was polite and extremely hard working, not to mention talented. The project manager Max was always available and addressed every single question along the way, often in person! I especially liked that they made suggestions based on their deep knowledge of the plants and their willingness to get to know my yard and needs. They are not the least expensive (by far) but it was well worth it to have this designer and installer leave a foundation I can grow (pun intended).

I received a call back from Luca at Bellantoni landscaping. I was seeking another view/opinion on my drainage problem. It was amazing how Luca was able to view my property on the computer and listen my current problem with water build up. Luca was super patient as I explained the water problem I was having. I explained I had a contractor and engineers here to give me an estimate on what needed to be done. But, I was hoping there was an easier, less expensive way out of my problem. Luca was knowledgeable and honest and explained their game plan would be just as involved. There were no shortcuts unfortunately. I decided after our eye opening conversation, that I should just stay with the first contractor bc the game plan wasnt as over kill as I thought, and engineers had already been to my property. But, because of the conversation with Luca, I feel confident that I will be calling them for other jobs since they do a lot more then just dry wells!

We had a positive experience working with Luca and Max at Bellantoni for landscaping and some masonry needs. They were very helpful in researching and laying out our landscaping plans, sourcing materials and executing the plan. Everything looks great and was done as timely as possible. I decided to write this review to warn other homeowners of Bellantoni. They are by far are the most expensive landscaping company I got in touch with, but I decided to hire them anyway because at first, they seemed professional and knowledgeable. Nothing could be further than what I experienced with them. I asked them to develop a large landscaping project for my front and back yard. The most noticeable issue with it was the quality of the plants. Many died and most of it didn t develop. We spend the entire season (spring/summer) with the minimal number of flowers. My plant beds just looked empty and ugly throughout the property. When I realized, the plants weren t going to grow, I started to look further into it and I realized that they did not plant the number of plants they charged me for. The difference was pretty large. They claim that the plants just died, but it was approximately 60 plants, so I have a hard time believing that. Along the way we had many other issues they left my driveway and entrance covered in mud after a job, mulch falling off the plant bed, grass sod that died right after being planted, irresponsiveness to requests Even the plants that did grow were ugly and not taken care of, even thought we aid for a weekly maintenance (see the pictures) Bellantoni was such a disappointment and by far the worst service company I ever dealt with. Stay away!

Over many years I have used Bellantoni for alot of my outside house work. They have installed outside drains on my property. They have built my backyard patio. They repaired my chimney that needed mason work done. They have dug up and repaired a lot of underground outside drainage issues. Most recently I had a drainage investigation performed by them and that led to them resolving the issue. The project manager Ken B. was very responsive and on top of all of the details to create a path to resolving the gutter drain problems. Overall very good professional company to rely on for scary things that go on outside our homes!

Bellantoni has been great to work with turning our yard of disasters into a dream. They had great recommendations for improving our front and back yards. Were excited to continue working with them!

Luca and the rest of the team were fantastic from start to finish. We had both drainage work and landscaping done and we were impressed with how thorough Bellantoni is. They walk you through everything so you know exactly what is going to happen and how. There is even a follow-up meeting after the work is complete to answer any questions you may have. I had Bellantoni install about 200 feet of french drains on my house lot in White Plains in November 2021. The work was done with great care and to a very high standard. The team charged with the work were outstanding, they were well experienced and worked very hard to get the job done in a day and a half, leaving the property in the best condition imaginable. But beyond this I was impressed that Bellantoni is a truly professional organization where the management and office staff are totally businesslike and responsive. They always returned calls promptly and kept me fully informed. Importantly, the organization provided its workers with the right kind of mechanical equipment and support to do the work correctly. In total this speaks to a company that works well at all levels. Over the years I have dealt with a number of landscaping contractors but I think that Bellantoni takes landscaping service to a superior level. One that I have not previously experienced.

We moved into our dream home with a not so dreamy sloping yard and irrigation issues. We are so thankful to have met Luca and the Bellantoni Landscape team. They were a pleasure to work with from start to end and the quality of work is incredible. They checked in with us regularly for any necessary changes as the project progressed. From start to finish everyone from Donna and Phyilis who answer the phones to Luca and Sergio who managed the entire project to the other workers who names I do not remember were amazing. Despite a little delay on Day 1 because of a compromised water pipe that was fixed that same day as promised by Michael Bellantoni himself, who personally stopped by my home to make sure it was taken care of, I was very satisfied with the water proofing that Bellantoni performed on my home. Hopefully this will be something I won t have to worry about for the next 25 years! Courteous, Professional, Hard working, and Honest!

We ve now relied on Michael Bellantoni, Inc. for two major projects to help fortify and beautify our home. The first was a full property drainage project that resolved years of poor drainage and poor construction left in place by previous owners of our home. The second project followed the onslaught of Hurricane Ida, requiring us to build up the patio in our backyard to prevent future water inundation. Bellantoni s crews walked us through every stage of the design process, encouraged us to make changes to fit our preferred style and aesthetic and ensured us that our project would be completed on time and on budget, especially through the start of winter. They did not disappoint. The before and after transformation of our backyard is something to behold, and we d recommend Bellantoni for any similar project.

The Bellantoni group were well organized,efficient, and responsive. The work was completed to exactly how we wanted it. With David s direction and his skilled team the work was completed within a reasonable time. Check ins happened throughout the project with adjustments along the way. The workers were knowledgeable and very accommodating. We would definitely recommend this group to anyone wanting to design, redesign or update your landscaping.

It is always nerve wracking when making any major changes to your home. After working with another landscaper for a few years, I decided to give Bellantoni a try due to good things I had heard about them. I am very happy that I made the switch. The work they do is very well done, their team is really great, they do what they say they will do when they say they will do it, and their professionalism and process is impeccable. I am really happy with Bellantoni! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a real professional landscaping service. And on top of all of this, their prices are very good and competitive or better than those other landscapers .

Amazing designs and pre-service

We are completely satisfied with the work that was done by Bellantoni on our side yard project. We gave very little to Frank with regard to what we envisioned for the project but he came up with a plan that gave us exactly what we wanted. Their team was able to start right away and they completed the job in two days . . . Sooner than what we thought. We love our new garden.

Bellantoni total BS artists and have now twice messed up a job and I had to throw them off my property finally. We scoped out a job, got a proposal then they decided to eliminate half the scope and try and get more money to do what we talked about and agreed. They wasted so much of my time. Totally untrustworthy, con men. 1st job was mediocre at best, they had to fix it three. Horrible, not even worth the one star.

As a homeowner I feel obligated to warn others who are considering using Bellatoni Landscape. It was by far the worst experience I have ever had with any contractor/company. Not only was the project very delayed, countless mistakes were made, essentially everything they planted died and they tried to charge me for work that was never done. Add in, the owner of the company has the absolute worst customer service skills. I commissioned Bellantoni last summer to do some landscape design work (trees/plants/shrubs), build a raised patio and do some other masonry work. I could go into great detail about my disappointment, but here are some of the high (or low) notes: My front walkway and steps were to be repaired. The first attempt was done incorrectly and looked worse than when they started. I pointed it out to the project manager who acknowledged the shoddy work and said ill send over our A team to fix it. Not sure why i did not deserve the A team initially. The raised patio was supposed to by approximately 18 inches above the ground. But due to measurement errors by them, the patio ended up being 36 inches above the ground. I never would have built that patio, but it was too late to stop because they did not realize their mistake until after they started. Essentially every tree and plant they planted as per our contract died. And despite having a warranty with my contract, they gave me a very difficult time about replacing them. It was not until i said we will resolve this through other means, did they agree to do so. HOWEVER, they refused to replace everything that died and they also replaced my trees with different trees. I now have two different trees next to each other in front of my house. They also did some other masonry work. Most of which already is cracked or is falling apart. Rather than being a stand up company in a customer first business, they refused to repair any of their sub par work and hid behind language in the warranty. For all of my troubles, the owner of the company did not offer an apology or any concessions. Rather he tried to charge me for work that was never done. There are countless other things I could post. As I wrote at the beginning, I feel compelled to warn others who may be considering Bellantoni Landscaping. I will never use them again!!!! FOLLOW UP (10/14/2019): It has been one month since the owner Michael Bellantoni responded to my post and I have yet to hear from him or anyone at his company. Another example of their poor customer service.

Beyond Expectations! We had a few unique challenges that had to meet our needs in making our backyard most functional and practical given we owner-occupy our two family home. We knew we needed a landscape designer and sought out Bellantoni based on previous unrelated work and they having been highly recommended. We anticipated they would be professional, and they certainly exceeded any expectations I may have had. They carefully listened to each challenge we presented, along with any likes or wishes--and literally got it from my mouth onto their paper and THEN that was collaborated upon at Bellantoni between the designers and boom they came up with a design that works on the 1st shot! To my shock and delight, our challenges were addressed and we now have an AMAZING backyard that we can now truly enjoy. THANK YOU!!!! Hired Bellantoni Landscaping in Summer 2018 to design & install landscaping for front of our home. Everything came out fantastic and everyone on the team was professional from beginning to end. Would highly recommend.

We are very pleased with the workmanship and professionalism of the crew and both the driveway and walkway came out great! We have been coming off of 2 years of renovations and couldn t really see what the final product would look like and were hesitant about each step. The crew manager clearly understood and took the time to involve and reassure us. We also really appreciated the fact that they were able accommodate the walkway into the schedule last minute. They were on time, on budget, and did a great job. They built a pretty large retaining wall for us to protect our porch from soil erosion. Will definitely use them again for future landscaping work!

Perform excellent work

Happiness is a Bellantoni truck in your driveway. I LOVE this company. They did my sprinkler system and they maintain it (I have only had one minor repair in all the years I have had it). They turned the sprinkler system on in the spring and off in the fall. They planted bushes for me, clean my gutters, did some waterproofing for me. I have used them over the last 25 years and trust them completely. On November 7, I had my back stairs rebuilt and they fixed my front sidewalk. They repaired my stockade fence a few years ago and 2 years ago rehabilitated my lawn. I do not think they are expensive, I think they are fair. They tell you a time frame; they come in that time frame. Often they come right at the earliest time. Their scheduling staff (I think it is one amazing person, Donna) is fabulous. Always cheerful too. Sometimes you look at the estimate and cannot decide if you want to do it or not. If you later think you want to but cannot find the estimate, Donna emails you another copy. I was so happy with my steps I took a picture of the person who did it and took a photo of the front walk. It is amazing, what a difference. As to scheduling estimates, sometimes you have to get a farther out date then you would like because they are in high demand and are known as one of the main companies for water control in Westchester county. They just completed a massive job at my church in Scarsdale. They are worth waiting for and building a relationship with.
