Talk about efficiency. I had a dead 50ft tree in my backyard that was in danger of falling. It was also positioned in a place where heavy machinery could not get to it. The owner quickly came out to my property and provided an estimate. Their crew came out and had it chopped down, chopped up, and thoroughly cleaned up after themselves by noon that day. Update 5/24/24: We used Final Cut again for a large tree job. Frankie was great to deal with to set everything up for us! Santos and his crew were like surgeons. We have a ton of trees around the ones we needed to have removed and they were able to lay them down perfectly without damaging any other trees. Amazing!! Would still highly recommend. Final cut did a fantastic job removing three trees. We needed only one stump removed. However no one told us that you have to request to take the debris from the Stump removed. Our last Stump guy cleared the debris so this was a shock. If we need another Stump gone we will not use Final Cut.

We hired this company to come out and remove 3 very large oak trees. One (the largest) was growing out of the center of our deck and was no more than 15 feet from our home. We had had problems getting anyone to even agree to remove this tree. Final Cut was not afraid, they came out, did the work and did a fantastic job. They also trimmed another tree. We asked them to come back this spring to grind down the stumps because we had to remove part of the deck in order for them to even access the stumps. They came out last week and did the grinding. Stumps all gone. I was worried they might forget that this was part of the job they did last fall, but they hadn t forgotten. Final Cut Landscape & Tree Care always showed up on time, always listened, always got it right. So, if you re looking for tree trimming, tree removal or the like, I can say that I would ABSOLUTELY recommend them and would hire them again if I ever need them again. I wish I had more before and after photos, I only snapped this one photo of the largest stump after the tree was removed. As you can see, there was disease beginning in the center of this tree. This was a very old tree.

These guys are the real deal. Not only was their estimate extremely fair, but the quality of their work and customer service is impeccable.

I needed some extensive work done in my yard. I needed to remove several trees including one large/tall tree. Final Cut was recommended by a neighbor so I included them in the four bids I wanted to get. Their bid was about one third of the highest bid and more than a thousand from the next highest bidder. They did a wonderful job. Even raked the smaller debris up and cut the wood into lengths I could use in our fireplace. They were very professional. Highly recommended.

After getting many estimates to take down 6 large and precariously perched white pine trees, I landed on Final Cut to take on the job. Frankie and his crew took care of everything in a professional manner. From the estimate, to scheduling, to performing the actual work, I never felt in the dark or surprised. We worked with Frankie to get some trees removed from our property after one of them started falling apart and knocked out our Wifi. He was able to quote us and get us scheduled very quickly, and loved that he was super responsive! The crew came out on time and took down 5 trees plus cleaned up all the rest of the trees in our yard in about 7 hours including all the cleanup! Then they came back later that week to grind 8 stumps. Overall it was a great experience with fantastic communication, pricing, and service! Would definitely recommend!!

I had some tree damage from a storm in July 2022 that damaged a pine tree in my driveway. I had a huge limb hanging that a septic truck hit and the branch was hanging on my power lines. My husband was killed in an accident the day before the septic truck hit this branch. I called several companies to see if they could take care of this and needed it done ASAP due to out of town guests and the danger of this branch falling on my power line. Frankie came out he was compassionate. Gave me an excellent price. Him and his team were out first thing in the morning. They took three trees down and most of my guests never even noticed they were ever there. This was the day of my husbands funeral and I wouldnt have been able to concentrate on my situation worrying about the danger that this limp could have imposed. The crew spent an entire day at my house, cleaning up all the grossly overgrown trees, bushes, weeds, even a dead tree that had oven taken my yard. I had no idea how nice my yard could actually look. Called for an estimate a week before Christmas, Frankie came out the next day gave a great price. Scheduled the work for less than a week later. Crew came out was professional and quick, made sure to leave everything like they found it! Would absolutely recommend to friends and family!

I dont recommend this company. I did not hire them, but they entered my fenced in yard and proceeded to cut off many branches of a large 35-40 year old oak tree. Since when can you enter someones yard and start performing work on their house and yard without permission? I was shocked at the outcome. When I brought this to the attention of the company, they were unapologetic.

The estimator came out within a day of submitting the inquiry, and the job was done within the next week. The prices were more than fair, the crew were timely, courteous, and worked with alacrity. These guys took care of more in one day than I have maintained in 6 years. Some before and after photos of some of what they cleared out for us.

I highly recommend Final Cut Services for all your tree care. I had two large, wild Mulberry trees, as well as a maple tree, cut back and trimmed. I got a quick response when I first called, and then with the estimate which was very reasonable. When Frankie gave me an estimate, it was immediately obvious he really knows his stuff. I had several large trees requiring removal, and others I wanted pruned. Frankie astutely spotted just a few other things that would make the greatest difference. The #1 crew of seven people did a terrific job- safely, thoroughly and with amazing talent! Ive had comparable work performed over the years, but I was never this impressed or pleased... Final Cut will get my future jobs, for sure!

Really disappointed with Final Cut. We had a tree removed but the work was never completed and communication with the office/owner was very difficult. Getting an estimate was easy but once I signed the estimate I had emailed and called to get scheduled after no follow up. The team that showed up to do the work were great but it came as a surprise to them that we were supposed to have the stump removed despite it being on the estimate. They mentioned the office would call me to schedule/complete the work. I received no follow up again so I called the office and was told that there were equipment issues but someone would come Wednesday. No one showed on Wednesday so I reached out again and was told that they would get back to me. After no follow up again after several days I called the following week to find out that they are still having equipment issues but was confused because they were a no show last Wednesday when they got their equipment back . Basically I was just getting the run around and then was told that they don t schedule stump removals but I guess they just don t finish jobs either. We are now hiring another company to finish the work. Update: Final Cut did not show up on the second attempt to reschedule the stump removal so at 4:30 that day I called and spoke to someone to cancel and tell them we were going with another company. They then showed up to my house the next day unannounced to remove the stump. Respectfully I said no thank you and have hired Clear Tree.

While grinding the stump they also ground up the sump pump PVC pipe which is just below the surface. They said they dont repair such things, and refuse to do anything about it after many phone calls, and texts, mostly unanswered. Then they even denied doing it. !

From Start to Finsh. Final Cut went above and beyond. From the start the office girls kept me in the loop with every step. Frankie very professional good looking gentleman came and gave me a estimate and also talked to me about how to keep up the pruning of my trees. Keep doing what your doing good job guys!!! The service was great and the price was fair and affordable. I had a downed tree removed, trees pruned to raise branches that were almost touching the ground, overgrown weeds were removed from the fence and ground areas. I am a very satisfied customer.

Despite what we assume was a crazy busy week due to a major storm that wreaked havoc across the state, Frankie made time to come out to give us a quote to remove a storm damaged tree, as well as 7 other trees we wanted removed. He managed to fit us in almost immediately to take care of the storm damaged tree, which we especially appreciated because we were having an event at our home that weekend. He also got another crew out soon after to take the other trees down. All of Frankies employees were very professional, and incredible to watch. You can tell the crew communicates well and calculates each cut ahead of time, taking care to control where the branches and portions of the tree fell. Frankie was great to work with and we hope to use them again, and will definitely be recommending Final Cut.

First, I am not one to leave reviews on any type of business. Actually, this is my first review. Final Cut came out to my house in 2020 to remove 6 trees that were hacked up by BGE and Lewis Tree Services. These trees weren t safe and Final Cut came out and removed them. The crew was in and out. I was amazed at how fast the crew worked and how nice my yard looked after they left. I had Final Cut come back last week to remove 11 trees and one downed tree. We had a storm come through my property in late July with 90+ Mph straight wind. It knocked a very large 80 poplar tree down. When it fell, it hit two 80 poplar trees and cracked them about half way up. I had a few trees that were diseased and few that were rotted upon inspection. Like the first trip, other than some bare spots on my lawn from the equipment rolling around, they took great care of my lawn. The crew was so professional. I actually put a chair out in the field and watched them work. It was amazing how little they spoke to each other. Everyone had a specific job and they knew exactly what to do. I couldn t recommend this company enough to others. A+++ Company.

I had not shopped around, so I could not compare the prices. But I am very happy with the services I received. Absolutely a 5-star experience. I really want to thank Eric (the GM) and Jacob (the foreman) for a job nicely done. This is the third or forth time they served my neighborhood. My neighbors all said their prices are really good, so I took their words and saved me the effort to talk to different companies. 2 weeks ago one of my neighbor needed to take down a very big tree. The crew found they could not get through my neighbors property so they had go to through mine to get to the job site. The GM Eric was very courteous and polite, so I gave them the permission so that they could complete the job. Eric told me he truly appreciated my help and was willing to work with me if I needed their services, which I gladly accepted, and also talked to another neighbor so we could have the crew for a full day. Jacob and his crew arrived at my door at 8am. I originally was worried if the job may take longer because the forecast said it would snow in the PM. Surprisingly, his crew of 4 got all the jobs done by 2pm. He also helped me and my neighbor on some tasks not originally on the estimate. The crew also cleaned up the area very nicely. GM Eric swung by just to make sure everything was done perfectly. Before leaving, Jacob walked through the job site with me to confirm everything is done to my satisfaction. I truly appreciate the detail oriented attitude and the professionalism. The overall experience was great. I did speak with Frankie (the owner) on the phone when I was sending them my signed contract, and Nicole who scheduled my appointment. Both are very professional and nice to talk to. It also happens that the owners brother Seth has a landscape company and would give me a great deal if I choose to do so. I will provide more feedback on that later on but if they do things the same way, Im sure I would be very happy to have their family take care of our landscaping need. In summary, I am very happy with their job, and would not hesitate to refer them to my friends at any time.

Final Cut did a fantastic job removing 5, 90ft+ trees on our property in Northern Forest Hill, along with pruning 3 additional extremely large trees very close to our home and power lines. They arrived on time and immediately began working, the crew was extremely professional and hardworking. Then in a weeks time, one of his teams came out and in only a couple hours, we had 2 large trees removed and hauled away, a towering beach tree pruned and shaped, two largs stumps ground up, and numerous brush and small log piles chipped and hauled. And in 2 years I have never been happier than I am right now with my backyard. Super professional company, licensed and insured for peace of mind. We will use Final Cut again for sure!

We had 2 100ft ish oak trees on our backyard, but in a very inconvenient location. This makes it difficult for any company because they would have to hand cut and carry the entire tree out to the front yard. Frankie, the owner, came by to examine the trees and provide an estimate, which was very fair. He then came a second time because we were worried about a third tree. Frankie was upfront with prices, the health of the trees, work involved, and time it would take. We got about 8 estimates and we knew after the first time meeting him that we wanted to use his company. We appreciate his business and will use them in the future if needed!

I recently hired Final Cut to remove 2 large trees, 1 dead and 1 damaged, from my property. They were competitively priced (lowest of 3 estimates), and the team was polite, efficient, and didnt break anything in a yard surrounded by vinyl fencing in close proximity to the trees. In an age where contractors tend to no-show, half-show, and generally underdeliver on their promises, working with Final Cut has been refreshing and I highly recommend them.

Frankie came out and gave me an estimate in May to remove 3 large trees, cut back dead branches on another and grind the stumps. Their price wasnt the cheapest but I was impressed with his knowledge so we decided to go with Final Cut. I called the office the week after to confirm the estimate and schedule the work. The work was scheduled about a month later which was great. I confirmed at the time of the estimate and at the time of scheduling that I wouldnt need to be there when they came. On 6/21 my young daughter called me panicking that someone was knocking on the door. I looked at my Ring camera and it was the tree company. I called the office and told them I wasnt home and asked what the guys onsite needed from me. She said she would have them call me which they did. The guys did not know which trees to cut out nor how to access the ones towards the back of the house. He was asking me about property lines and such. Being at work, this was frustrating since I thought this was all planned out at time of estimating. They ended up going to my neighbor to see if he could help them with that information. When I arrived home the trees were gone and the yard was cleaned up. I was really upset though that they tore my neighbors yard up trying to access my back trees. Luckily the neighbor didnt seem to care or at least not enough to say something to me. Also, they damaged the wood border along my driveway. It looked like the drove right over it in several places causing the wood to split and they just left damaged wood in the driveway. We received the invoice the next day and I emailed them photos with my concerns. No one got back to me. I ultimately ended up paying the invoice that same week because I didnt want to hold up complete payment for the damage. I also contracted them to grind the stumps when Frankie initially came out and no one showed or called to schedule this work. I called them and was given 2 dates and no one showed up either time nor did they call to say they wouldnt make it.

I had a dead tree that needed to come down and was a danger to my house and my Neighbors. Eric came out and gave me a fair estimate, and within a few weeks they had a crew out there to get the tree down. They were very meticulous in making sure that tree, which was right next to an neighbors fence, wouldn t fall on that fence. They did a great job cleaning up, and left the logs to side as I asked them so I could split them and use them for firewood. The owner and the office staff are also as Professional and courteous as they come. I certainly recommend Final cut for all your tree removal needs!

These guys were the BEST! I mean, THE BEST! I had a few companies come out and give us quotes and I never got the warm fuzzy feeling like I did with Final Cut Landscape and Tree Care. Could have been the unbeatable price, or the fact that the gentleman didnt talk to you like you had half a brain. Franky came out and gave us a good price. He was great to work with and very personable! Response was quick and work was scheduled quickly. We had a pretty large project and one tree in particular that was causing issues / risk to our vehicles and he even worked with us to meet our needs and get this resolved right away. The crew was very professional and even fun to talk with. They were clean, neat, and even assisted our neighbors with traffic on our road. The next crew showed up to do the stumps the following week. I had final cut out to take down seven trees from my yard as well as grinding the stumps and pruning one tree. Firstly, the price way cheaper than I was expecting. This was also helped by their Military Discount. When I arrived home from work I was pleased to see everyone wearing hard hats and appropriate safety gear. It really makes them stand out as a professional outlet. They did an excellent job and did a great job cleaning up after they were done. Taking these trees down really improved the curb appeal of my house. The way the taller trees in the back yard frame the house really gives the house more visual weight. I will definitely use them in the future.

I asked my husband to hire a group to remove 1 (one) Large old dead Tree. It was explained to us that the tree could not be removed unless other trees nearby were also removed to allow for their equipment. We agreed with the condition that one of the trees chosen to be removed be saved. After the job was completed, my yard looked like a war zone. Many beautiful mature trees were removed including the one I wanted to be saved. The service completed was overkill and I am heartsick. This group is an inexperienced company, not the experts and professionals they claim to be. Buyer beware!!!!!!

We needed three large trees removed, several others trimmed, and five existing stumps removed. Two of the trees were near neighboring fences which made the job more challenging. The tree removal crew arrived on time and were very professional and courteous. They were especially careful when dropping branches near the fences. Not only were the trees removed to our satisfaction, but they also cleaned up debris (including any in the neighboring yards) and graded over the equipment tracks in the yard. On the second day, the stump removal crew arrived a little earlier than expected and were done quickly. They too were professional and friendly. There were a couple of minor challenges each day that were quickly addressed with additional help, and the crews were able to finish on time. All in all, we are very satisfied with the work that was completed. It was an exceptional value and we would call on this company again for any future tree maintenance.

Final Cut was the most competitive and professional for removal of 7 large trees on my property. The owner came out to provide an estimate for tree removal. I then showed him his coupon for 30% off any tree service--- must be presented at time of estimate. He wrote up the invoice, but did not include the discount, because he knew I had a mailer (coupon) and was giving me the discounted offer. In other words, the coupon was worthless. First time customer, but not the last....already booked 2020 spring maintenance. I had Final Cut perform the needed 2019 spring landscape maintenance service; this crew was stellar! Professional, courteous, & the fee was competitive. Additionally, I required 10 dead trees to be removed from around my residence; a second crew was equally proficient. The entire Final Cut team communicated throughout each service, and though the fee was competitive, they were willing to negotiate.

i have edited this review at the end!! Nice price experience not so much. Made appointment for estimate, they were 45 minutes late, no courtesy phone call not even an apology upon arrival. 2 days later tried several times throughout the day to get a hold of them finally got a return call the following day. I told them I would like to hire them for the job She told me the earliest they could get out was June 6 I told them that would be fine. So today the 6 th comes and about 10:40 got a bad feeling I was forgotten about, called to see if I could get a time frame and when she asked me my information she hesitated and asked if she could call me back, now even more certain I was forgotten about. Called me back and told me how the crew was running late because they were having trouble with the chipper, she said she would keep me updated. And she did call me one more time to tell me they were stil on the job and wasn t sure if they would be able to come out, and said they could come out in the morning, I told her I had to work I would prefer today and she said they could possibly still make it out but they may end up packing up and calling it a day. So end of the day comes no phone call not even to try to reschedule with me. I think this is very inconsiderate and very unprofessional, highly disappointed, waste of my day So, i am editing my review, yes i initially had a bad experience, but after talking with the owner Frankie and discussing everything; it was evident that he takes great pride in what he does and his company. They are a new company that is rapidly growing and sometimes you hit a snag. I am a woman who believes in second chances and redemption. they have taken care of my tree and everything they said they would do, i am pleased, and will continue to use them in the future!!

I just wanted to say thank you for doing an excellent job! We had a rather large job; removing 9 standing trees, removing 1 tree that had fallen over from a previous storm, and the top half of a tree that snapped in that same storm. We also needed one tree elevated. The job took a little longer than planned (weather related issues). I was concerned because the trees we wanted removed were between our house/fence and two different neighbors houses. The crew had about 40 feet of width to work with, between our fence and neighbors houses. The crew knew what they were doing and were in control the whole time. Im happy to report that there was NO damage to fence or property. The crew cleaned up extremely well too. The crew did such a good job I have already had neighbors ask me who we used. I had over 6 quotes to remove a very large silver maple in my front yard (sadly, it was dying after 55 years). I also needed to have a large lead limb removed that was hanging over my garage and another maple trimmed. Frankie spent quite some time educating me on how/why and what needed to be done to protect mine and my neighbors home. His quoted price (and a coupon for stump removal) was higher than some but reasonable given the stump removal, removal of surface roots and nourishing the existing tree, so I went with his team. I was greatly pleased with the timeliness of the tree removal and the cleanliness after the job was completed. His office staff and general manager were also helpful in answering any of my questions in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend this tree service!

This was our first time using Final Cut to remove several large beech trees. Our next door neighbors had Final Cut remove several very large trees the same day we did. We were very impressed with the quality of the work and efficiency of the large crew. Frankie brought in a crane to help with our trees and everything went smoothly. They removed the stumps the next day and cleaned up the properties very nicely, with minimal damage to the grass. My wife and I were looking to have our on big tree trimmed due to some clearly dead branches and one branch that was alive but hanging precariously over our power lines. We received a Valpak coupon thing in the mail, and there were a few flyers for tree companies in there. We got a few quotes and in the end it came down to two companies - Final Cut and another one, who were asking the same price. I went with Final Cut for a few reasons. First off, Frankies explanation, presentation, and overall friendly demeanor were outstanding. There was no pressure, and he really seemed to understand what we hoped to accomplish. He also knew the actual kind of tree we were dealing with, and cites some basic facts about the type....and when I went to further educate/learn about it....everything he said was reinforced. The job was delayed once, understandably, due to weather. It was performed on the rescheduled day without issue. Coincidentally, I installed a cam in my backyard days before the job so I actually got to watch some of it while at work. Had I not, though....I might not have even noticed it was done because the crew cleaned up so well. Speaking of no pressure...I called Final Cut 8 days after the job to settle up. Frankie came by, discussed what had been done, checked out the work, and collected payment. Oh, and they hung my kids tree swing while in the tree (no added cost). Would wholeheartedly reccomend and, if we need further service on this tree, would use them without giving any consideration to another company.

We are very satisfied customers.Their estimate was half of two other estimates we received. Normally I would have been sceptical but they came highly recommended from a close friend and they delivered. Showed up early on the scheduled day and busted butt, removing 10 full size pines in one day and grinding 14 stumps the next. The crew was very friendly and cleaned up afterwards. I now have their office and cell phone programmed in my cell.

Had about 8 trees removed and couldnt be happier. Great price and had it done within two days. A stump grinder of his went up and he still got the job done. Frankie was very transparent and professional. We look forward to having them back out for a few more trees to be removed.

I bought they did a great job of trimming my trees. They were later than they were scheduled but would highly recommend them.

Couldnt be happier with the work Frankie and his crew did removing a huge silver maple from our backyard. Having to take it down at all saddens me but it was slowly dying so, safety first. Wed had a smaller tree removed by Frankie the year before and was very pleased with that work. Since this one was such a huge job though, we did get 3 estimates- Frankie was only a few hundred dollars higher than the lowest one and we went with him due to the first good experience in addition to his thoroughness in answering all our concerns (we had quite a few- septic drain fields I was worried about working around as well as possible fence issues and keeping the garden/pool area in good shape). After some discussion Frankie decided to use a crane and once there for the job, my kids and neighbors and I all sat in the driveway across the street to watch the show. Boy can these boys move fast! I could not believe how quickly it was all done and how smooth it all went. The clean up couldnt have been better! Excellent job and we will not hesitate to call Frankie for any and all tree work in the future. A+++

It saddens me to have to write this review because we were so thrilled originally with how quickly and efficiently our tree was removed 3 weeks ago. However the 2nd part of our service which was grinding down the stump has not gone the same way. We were told that our stump would be grinded down the same day or by the end of the weekend. That was on September 19th, is it now October 8th and the work is still not done. I had to call last week and get an update on when the work would be completed and was told that their machine was broken and it would hopefully be done by this week or weekend. Again the work didnt happen and I had to call again. I understand the machine being broken, things happen, but what I dont understand is someone not calling us to give us updates and us having to continuously call.

Absolutely satisfied with their professional and safety oriented tree removal service. .Very very reasonable price rates. I had 8 dead trees and stumps removed and the whole experience was never a problem. Frankie and crew were all so timely and great with their start to finish task at hand to complete. .I would not hesitate at all to have them back in the future..i highly recommend them...absolutely 5 stars ..

I contacted Final Cut to remove an evergreen shrub by my front door and some neglected ivy that had reached the 2nd story of my condo. Frankie, the owner, came out promptly (the next day) for an estimate. He was very polite and professional, and the estimate was very reasonable! I was later contacted by Nicole (the office manager, who was very pleasant, responsive, and professional) for an appointment to have the work done. Within a week (they could have come out sooner, but there was delay due to snow), Paul and his team arrived at my condo and did a great job removing the shrub and ivy. Im sure my job was relatively small compared to jobs they normally do, but they put a lot of care and attention to their work, and removed the shrub and ivy efficiently. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves. Thank you again for a job well done!

Do not buy firewood from them. Bad length, not seasoned and when given a price to include stacking the wood, they did not do that either. Also not seasoned. Waste of money and the cord delivered was maybe half of what was sold.

I got several estimates from other Tree Companies and they were all over the place, these other companies sent out people who apparently had no clue above tree removal. I had a few companies say it would take a couple days and cranes were needed. Best thing I did was call Final Cut! Spoke with a very helpful secretary and she said she would have the owner contact me. Spoke with Frankie the owner and he setup an appointment to met at my property. Frankie arrived before appointment time and none of the other companies did they just showed up late with an excuse. Frankie and I walked my property, he explained what my issues were and how he was going to fix them and remove some trees that were hanging over half of my house. He gave me a great rate. Final cuts crew showed up and did outstanding work all the men and Frankie are true professionals. The men cleaned up so well that you couldnt even tell any work was performed. If you are looking to get processional work done by professional people give Final Cut a call!

Final Cut Landscape and tree care did an amazing job! They were able to get down a tree others said was impossible! I am extremely happy with the service.
